WWE OVER THE LIMIT FULL RESULTS


WWE’s first-ever Over the Limit pay-per-view kicks off with a video package focusing on tonight’s matches. The pyro explodes as we’re live inside the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Michael Cole welcomes us to Over the Limit. Joining Cole on commentary is Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. We go to the ring.
WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre
Tonight’s first match will be for the Intercontinental Title. Out first comes the challenger, Kofi Kingston to a nice pop. We get SmackDown replays from the past few weeks. Out next is the Champion from Scotland, Drew McIntyre, with his awesome entrance. Kofi and Drew exchange words before the bell rings.
The bell rings, and we’re ready to kick things off in this one. Kofi comes out with right hands and forearms, he ducks a clothesline and connects with a couple of low kicks and another big kick to the side of McIntyre’s head, before sending him over the top rope with a big clothesline. Kofi follows Drew out to the floor with a suicide dive through the ropes. McIntyre fights back and makes it into the ring, but Kofi comes right back with a big jumping lariat. McIntyre rolls to the outside, but Kofi brings him back up to the ring apron, where McIntyre shoves Kofi into the ring post.
McIntyre takes Kingston back into the ring where he pounds on him in the corner for a little while before the ref breaks it up. Drew hits a low knee to Kofi’s midsection before hitting a modified gutbuster. McIntyre locks in a modified rear chin lock and grounds Kofi on the mat. Kofi fights out of it and up to his feet, taking McIntyre over with a big hip toss. Both men are up to their feet, and Jofi hits McIntyre with a couple of right hands before catching a boot to the stomach. McIntyre tries for a cover but only gets two. McIntyre beats on Kofi’s head for a bit before getting up and stomping down on Kingston’s head. Drew goes to the middle rope and jumps off, but Kingston gets his feet up and connects with McIntyre’s face.
Both men are up and they slug it out, with Kofi getting the advantage. Kofi splashes McIntyre up in the corner and rains down with left and right hands before hitting a nice European uppercut. Kingston ends up on the second rope and he kicks McIntyre before going up to the top. Kofi hits a leaping cross body for a near fall. McIntyre gets Kofi up into a fireman’s carry and hits a single knee gutbuster that’s good for a two count. Kofi sends McIntyre shoulder first into the steel ring post before kicking straight into McIntyre’s ribs and hitting the boom drop in the corner. Kofi goes for the cover, but McIntyre kicks out at two.
Kofi tries for Trouble in Paradise but Drew ducks. McIntyre tries for his DDT, but Kofi counters with the SOS. Kofi goes for the pin and gets the three count.
Winner and New WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston
- After the match, Drew gets on the mic and calls out Teddy Long. Drew says the pay-per-view won’t continue until Teddy reverses the decision and gives him the belt back. Out comes Matt Hardy instead of Teddy Long. Hardy comes to the ring and lays Drew out with a Twist of Fate.
- We go backstage with CM Punk, Serena and Luke Gallows. Punk is looking in a mirror, asking who is the fairest of them all and who is the savior. Gallows says Punk is. Punk twirls his hair and says he will leave tonight with his purity intact, with Rey Mysterio as the new member of his flock. Punk says tonight they will do something great, they will give birth to the Straight Edge Mysterio.
Ted DiBiase vs. R-Truth
Out first for the next match comes R-Truth, rapping with the fans. Out next comes Ted DiBiase, with the Million Dollar belt and Virgil at his side. Virgil is wearing a suit tonight. Truth mocks them before the bell and here we go.
The bell rings, and both men lock up. Truth tries for the go behind, but DiBiase catches his arm. Truth turns it around, but finds himself backed up into the corner. Truth goes to punch DiBiase, but Ted goes between the ropes and the ref breaks it up. DiBiase catches Truth with a side head lock, and goes back to work on the arm, but Truth turns it right around. DiBiase slaps Truth across the face, and Truth responds with one of his own. Truth pounds on DiBiase against the ropes, and the ref has to break it up again. Truth ducks a clothesline, and hits a kick to DiBiase’s head. Truth sends DiBiase to the floor with a clothesline over the top. On the outside, Truth confronts DiBiase, then turns around and slaps DiBiase before sending him back into the ring.
Virgil is able to distract Truth, allowing DiBiase to hit a neckbreaker on Truth. DiBiase tosses Truth to the outside, he follows and immediate drives him back first into the barricade before sending him right back in. Truth tries to fight back, but DiBiase takes him up and stomach first down to the mat. DiBiase kicks away at Truth in the corner, but Truth comes right back. Truth goes into the ropes, but DiBiase follows to confuse him, and then hits a clothesline, sending him down to the mat. DiBiase locks in a rear chin lock.
Truth fights up to his feet, but DiBiase responds with a belly to back suplex to take Truth right back down. DiBiase goes to the second rope and he tries for a double ax handle smash, but Truth catches him with a punch to the stomach. Truth places DiBiase on the top rope, and asks the crowd what’s up. DiBiase fights out of the superplex attempt, but Truth comes right back, hitting the ropes and making Ted crotch himself. Truth comes in with a couple of clotheslines and a big hip toss, following up with a flatliner that’s good for a two count. Truth tries for the axe kick, but DiBiase avoids it, and hits a huge electric chair drop that’s good for a two count.
Truth is able to take DiBiase down to the mat, but DiBiase goes right for the ropes and the ref is forced to break it. Truth hits a weird modified stunner that’s good for another near fall. Truth hits a big corckscrew elbow, and pins DiBiase, getting the three count.
Winner: R-Truth
- We go backstage with Teddy Long, on the phone with someone. He says things are going great but he can’t wait to see John Cena vs. Batista. Drew McIntyre walks in and demands a reversal of his match earlier. Teddy says he can’t do that. Drew says he can, he will and he will fire Matt Hardy right now. Teddy says no. Drew starts tearing up Teddy’s office. Drew goes to tear up a picture of Martin Luther King. Teddy begs him not to. Teddy says MLK is more of a revolutionary and a leader than Teddy ever will be. Drew puts down Teddy and walks off, leaving Teddy to think.
CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio
We get a video showing the events leading to tonight’s Hair vs. Pledge match. If Rey wins, CM Punk must be shaved bald. If Punk wins, Mysterio must join the Straight Edge Society. We see the barber chair and other items for a haircut at ringside. Out first comes CM Punk, without Serena and Luke Gallows. Cole says Teddy Long has banned them from ringside for this match. Out next comes Rey Mysterio to a nice pop. Punk waits on his knees for Rey to finish his entrance and here we go.
The bell rings, and Punk tries talking to Mysterio, trying to get him to pledge. Rey puts his hand up, and Punk attacks, laying into Mysterio with boots in the corner. Mysterio fights back when Punk backs off for a second, and he beats on Punk in the corner, but Punk is quick to turn it around. Punk sends Mysterio into the ropes and catches a boot to the chest, but Mysterio in turn ends up launched over the top rope with a back body drop out to the floor. Punk tries to dive over the top rope, but Rey moves. Mysterio runs into the ring, and comes right back out with a hurricarana to the floor. Pukn and Rey fight out on the floor with Rey rubbing Punk’s face into the side of the barber’s chair.
Back in the ring, Mysterio tries for the 619, but Punk moves and catches Rey with a kick. Punk takes Mysterio and launches him through the ropes and outside into the barber’s chair. Mysterio eats it and knocks over the chair. The ref checks on him, then goes back into the ring. Punk has apparently been busted open somehow, and the ref has stopped the match for a trainer to get into the ring to fix Punk up. Punk looks really unhappy with this, rolling his eyes the whole time.
Mysterio is able to roll back up onto the ring apron, and Punk is back up, hitting a baseball slide to send Mysterio back to the floor. Punk launches Mysterio into one barricade, then another, and then hits a vicious suplex on the outside.
Back in the ring, Punk goes for the cover but only gets two. Punk locks in a submission, focusing on Mysterio’s neck, wrapping his legs around Mysterio’s head and neck. Mysterio is able to kick his way out of the submission, and he gets up to his feet where he hits a couple more kicks and scores a quick roll up. Punk comes back with a huge lariat out of nowhere that’s good for a two count.
Punk hits Mysterio with a series of falling fist drops, shouting out parts of the Straight Edge Society pledge, before picking Mysterio back up and kicking away at him. Punk charges Mysterio in the corner, and Rey’s able to counter with a sunset flip powerbomb, but Punk kicks out at two. Both men are on their knees where they trade punches and kicks. Back on their feet, and Mysterio gets the advantage with a springboard cross body that’s good for two.
Punk sends Mysterio out to the apron, and Mysterio comes back in with a seated senton. Mysterio hits another innovative senton, and he goes for the pin, but Punk kicks out at two. Mysterio is up and he kicks Punk’s chest. Mysterio charges Punk, but Punk launches Mysterio into the corner, face first. Punk hits the running knee, but when he tries for a running bulldog, Mysterio sends Punk into the ropes instead. Punk avoids the 619, and hits a tiger driver backbreaker, that’s good for another near fall. Punk smiles as he looks over at Mysterio. He gets to his feet, and goes for the G2S, but Mysterio fights out, almost hitting a hurricarana. Punk stops him and powerbombs him into the corner. Punk goes to the top and hits a leaping bulldog, that’s good for two.
Punk wails away with forearms and kicks to Mysterio, finally taking him down with a big kick to the side of the head. Punk tries for the pin but Mysterio kicks out at two. Striker makes a crown jewel reference, his second ROH Embassy reference within a matter of weeks. Punk charges Mysterio and walks right into an elbow. Mysterio with a springboard but he goes right into G2S position. Mysterio fights out and hits the 619, but misses the springboard splash. Mysterio comes up with a crucifix pin out of nowhere, and he gets the three, Punk looks shocked.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
- After the match, the masked Straight Edge Society member comes in and lays out Rey while Punk laughs. Serena and Gallows come down and beat Rey up with the other two. They go to handcuff Rey to the ropes but out comes Kane. Kane runs through everyone. Rey unloads on Punk and cuffs him to the rope. Rey gets the clippers, all while kicking on Punk. Punk has been bleeding from the forehead the whole time here. Rey starts cutting Punk’s hair while Punk begs him to stop. Punk continues to scream as Rey cuts. Punk is covered in hair clippings, blood and sweat. Rey holds up Punk’s hair and the crowd pops. Punk isn’t completley bald but he’s got a bad haircut. Rey’s music hits and Serena runs over with a towel to cover Punk up. Rey chases her off and hits Punk some more, as he’s still cuffed to the ropes. Rey shows Punk a mirror and Punk starts flipping out. Rey heads up the ramp as Serena runs back over to check on Punk. We go to replays. The referee uncuffs Punk and he is escorted to the back, still under a towel, by Serena and the hooded man.
- We go backstage with Chris Jericho and Big Show. Jericho says he isn’t looking for a fight. He thanks Big Show. Jericho says Big Show was the dead weight of his tag teams with Jericho and The Miz. Jericho says he is going to capture the belts tonight with Miz. Jericho rips Bret Hart and says he would make a good team with Big Show. The Miz walks up behind Show. Show can’t see him but he knows he’s there. Show talks about knocking them both out and walks off.
- We get a promo video for the Prince of Persia video game, one of the sponsors for tonight’s pay-per-view.
WWE Unified Tag Team Title Match: Chris Jericho & The Miz vs. The Hart Dynasty
Out first for the next match are the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions, The Hart Dynasty with Natalya. Out next are the challengers, Chris Jericho and The Miz. It’s going to be Miz starting things out with Tyson Kidd.
Miz doesn’t allow the lock up as he stomps away at Kidd instead before burying his knee in Kidd’s back. Kidd hits a snap mare and follows it up with a couple of ridiculous stiff kicks before tagging in Smith, and helping him get Miz up for a huge stalling suplex. After about 20 seconds, Smith drops him and he tries for the cover but Miz kicks out. Smith kicks Miz to the outside, and Jericho joins him when Smith back body drops him to the outside. Smith picks Kidd up in a gorilla press and slams him to the outside on top of Jericho and Miz. Back in the ring Kidd locks in a front chancery, but Miz backs him into his own corner and tags in Jericho who comes in and immediately puts Kidd down. Kidd is able to flip out of a back body drop and a combo of kicks puts Kericho down. Double team action from the Dynasty is good for a near fall on Jericho.
Jericho is able to send Smith to the outside, and he distracts the referee to allow Miz to get in a cheap shot on Smith on the outside. Smith rolls back into the ring where he’s greeted by a belly to back suplex from Jericho. Jericho locks in a rear chin lock, but Smith is able to fight back up to his feet. Jericho charges Smith, but Smith counters with a side slam. Both men go for their partners, but Miz is the only one able to make the tag. Miz brings Smith back to his side of the ring where he goes to work with big right and lefts to Smith’s face, before hitting a running kick. Miz covers Smith, but only gets two. Miz locks in a rear chin lock, and Smith gets him onto his back. Smith stands right up and takes Miz down with an electric chair drop.
Both men make the tag, and Kidd hits a flying elbow, and a beautiful dropkick, before following it up with a series of kicks. Kidd hits a baseball slide to send Miz off the spron before hitting a crazy roll up. Kidd tries for the hurricarana, but Jericho counters into the Walls of Jericho. Kidd is able to drag himself into the ropes and force Jericho to break the hold. He rolls out to the apron, where he hits a big kicks to Jericho’s face. Kidd comes back in with a springboard splash, but Jericho counters right into the codebreaker. Jericho is able to crawl into a cover, but Kidd kicks out at two.
While Jericho argues with the ref, Kidd uses the opportunity to kick Jericho in the head and tag out to Smith. Smith comes in as a house of fire and takes it to both Miz and Jericho, launching Jericho with a belly to belly suplex before hitting a great powerslam. Smith gets a near fall, then tries for a running powerslam. Jericho sends Smith into the ropes and gets a beautiful small package, but Smith kicks out at two. Jericho goes into the ropes where he ends up being tripped by Natalya. Smith catches Jericho with a big powerslam, but Jericho kicks out at two. Miz makes the blind tag and comes in from behind, hitting a neckbreaker/backbreaker combo that’s good for a near fall. Miz goes for the sharpshooter on Smith, but Smith turns it into a small package for two.
Miz tries for the SCF, but Smith fights out of it, leading to a series of roll ups. Miz hits his clothesline in the corner, but Smith just walks out into the middle of the ring with him. Kidd makes the tag, and comes in for the Hart attack. Kidd pins Miz, and this one is over.
Winners: The Hart Dynasty
- We get a promo video for Edge vs. Randy Orton.
Edge vs. Randy Orton
We go to the ring and out comes Edge to a mixed reaction for the next match. Out next is Randy Orton to a big pop from the crowd.
Orton grabs Edge’s legs and slingshots him, catching his neck on the bottom rope. Edge rolls to the outside, and Orton follows, but Edge is able to grab him and send him into the ringside barricade. Edge picks up Orton and suplexes him, putting him down right on top of the barricade.
Edge rolls Orton back into the ring and goes for a quick cover, but Orton kicks out at two. Edge stomps away at Orton in the corner, and the referee is forced to break it up. Edge goes back in and Orton catches his with a couple of boots to the midsection, but Edge catches Orton with a kitchen sink before locking in a body scissors.
Edge changes things up, locking in a rear chin lock, but Orton fights out of it, but he’s still in the body scissors. Orton is able to elbow Edge in the face and force him to break the hold. Both men are back up, and Edge suplexes Orton right into the top rope, going right back to Edge’s ribs. Edge goes to the top rope, but Orton catches him with a right hand, setting him back on the turnbuckle. Orton goes up and tries for the superplex, he and Edge fight for a bit, and Edge is able to send Orton down to the mat. Orton gets right back up and crotches Edge. Orton goes back up and connects with the superplex this time.
Edge and Orton get up and slug it out in the middle of the ring. Orton gets the upper hand with a kick to the stomach and a big clothesline. Another clothesline and a big powerslam is good for a near fall. Edge reverses an Irish whip and hits a big boot, knocking Orton to the mat. Orton rolls to the apron. Edge tries for the spear, but Orton blocks it with his knee. Orton grabs Edge, and brings him back into the ring with his rope assisted DDT. Orton goes for the cover but Edge gets his leg on the rope. Edge rolls to the outside.
Orton tries to bring Edge back into the ring, but Edge takes Orton down throat first against the top rope. Back in the ring, Edge goes for the spear, but Orton turns right around and hits a big kick to block it. Orton sets up for the RKO, but when he pounds on the mat, it looks like his arm is hurt. Orton sends Edge to the outside, and Orton looks like he might have really messed up his arm. Orton is seriously hurt. Edge pounds on Orton on the outside, avoiding working on the arm. The ref starts the count. Edge tries to spear Orton, but Orton moves and Edge connects with the barricade. The ref counts ten, and this one is over.
Double Count Out
- After the match, trainers escort Randy Orton to the back. A group of referees are at ringside holding Edge back.
- We get a promo video for Jack Swagger vs. Big Show.
World Heavyweight Title Match: Big Show vs. Jack Swagger
Out first for the next match is the World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger. The challenger, Big Show is out next to a nice pop.
The bell rings, and Show and Swagger circle each other. Swagger tries to take Show down with a single leg, but Show pushes Swagger away. Swagger tries for a double leg, but Show stomps down to knock Swagger off. Swagger tries for a big boot, goes behind Show, and tries for a belly to back suplex, but Show switches it up, hitting a belly to back suplex of his own. Swagger rolls to the outside and looks perplexed. Big Show does pushups in the ring to a big pop. Swagger comes back in and walks into a big boot. Show chops at Swagger in the corner.
Swagger falls to the mat and Show walks across his stomach. Swagger rolls over, so Show walks across his back. Show chokes Swagger against the middle rope. Show sends Swagger into the rope and tries for the chokeslam, but Swagger is able to fight out of it and he rolls to the outside. Show picks up Swagger by the head and pulls him to the apron, and Swagger hangs Show up on the top rope. Back in the ring, Swagger hits a huge shoulder block to Show’s leg, then another shoulder block. Swagger hits two consecutive Vader splashes, but when he goes for the cover, Swagger gets thrown out of the ring. Swagger locks in the front face lock, but it’s fruitless as Show comes back with a series of blows, a big splash, and a shoulder block.
Show goes for the chokeslam, but Swagger kicks at Show’s knee. Show sends Swagger over the top rope. Swagger grabs the belt, and comes back into the ring where he hits Big Show. Swagger gets intentionally DQ’ed as it’s right in front of the ref. Swagger keeps working him over with the title, before going to the outside and grabbing a chair. Swagger wails on Show with the chair, but Show continues to get up.
Winner by DQ: Big Show
- After the match, Show gets up and decks Swagger. Show hits a chokeslam and goes for the chair, smacking Swagger in the back with it. Swagger gets chokeslammed on the chair and then hit with the knockout punch before Show leaves.
- We go backstage with Josh Matthews and Batista. Matthews asks Batista if he can make Cena quit tonight. Batista says Cena was screaming like a baby after RAW last week, saying I Quit. Batista says tonight, the whole world will hear Cena scream it.
WWE Divas Title Match: Maryse vs. Eve
Out first comes Eve followed by the WWE Divas Champion Eve. The bell rings and here we go.
Both women get in each other’s faces. Maryse talks smack, and kicks at Eve’s leg before sending her shoulder first into the ring post. Maryse sends Eve down to the mat where she kicks away at her, and slams her face first into the mat. Maryse tries for a cover but she only gets one. Maryse picks Eve up and slams her face down into the mat, before locking in a rear chin lock and sitting on Eve’s back.
Eve powers up to her knees, but Maryse knocks her right back down, before sending her into the ropes and burying her knee in Eve’s back. Maryse sends Eve to the outside, and she follows. Maryse tries to kick Eve, but Eve ducks and Maryse’s foot connects with the ring post. Back in the ring and Eve builds up steam with a series of dropkicks. Maryse slaps Eve, but Eve responds by taking Maryse to the mat, and hitting a standing moonsault for a two count. A sunset flip is good for another near fall, but Maryse catches Eve with a boot to the head that’s good for a near fall of her own.
Eve is able to fight back against Eve, hitting some sort of weird reverse STO that’s good for a two count. Eve kicks at Maryse before trying for a front flip senton. Maryse gets her knees up, and Eve crashes and burns. Maryse tries for the hair flip DDT, but Eve fights out of it, traps Maryse’s head in between her legs, and drops down to her knees. Eve pins Maryse, and this one is over.
Winner: Eve
- We get a preview for John Cena vs. Batista.
I Quit Match for the WWE Title: Batista vs. John Cena
Out first for tonight’s main event comes the challenger, Batista. This will be the last time they compete for the WWE Title, says the storyline. Out next comes the WWE Champion Batista, to a big pop. We get formal ring introductions. The referee is handed the microphone for either man to say I Quit into. Batista takes a mic and tells Cena he’s giving him one chance to quit now before he gets hurt. The referee asks Cena if he quits. Cena says Batista has made a point. Cena says, I…. don’t think so and decks Batista to start the match.
It spills to the outside, and Cena grabs a chair. he swings, but Batista ducks and Cena connects with the ring post. Back in the ring and Batista hits a big clothesline before sending him violently into the corner with a huge Irish whip. Batista pounds on Cena and hits a snap mare before following up with a running kick.
Batista pounds on Cena in the corner, before hanging him up on the second rope. Cena starts to fight back, but Batista takes it right back to him with a high back elbow. Batista sends Cena shoulder first into the ring apron, and the ref asks, but Cena refuses to quit. Cena is on the apron, and Batista runs into him with a big knee, sending Cena to the outside into the barricade. Batista follows and slams him into the barricade again before rolling him into the ring. Back in the ring, Batista hits a big suplex. Batista whips Cena into the corner, but Cena avoids a splash, and counters with a couple of shoulder blocks, and a side belly to back suplex. Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle, and tries for the AA, but Batista grabs on to the ropes and avoids it. Batista pulls the ref in front of him as a shield, then hits a spear on Cena before locking in his new bow and arrow submission. Cena refuses to quit.
Batista is wrenching away at Cena’s arms, but Cena will not give up. Cena powers out and fights up to his feet, swinging Batista off of his shoulders. Cena immediately locks in the STF. Batista crawls for the ropes, but it doesn’t force a break in this type of match. Batista looks to be fading. Cena lets go of the hold, and the ref asks if Batista wants to quit, but Batista is apparently out, and can’t answer. Cena goes out and grabs a bottle of water, bringing it back into the ring and dumping it on Batista’s head. the ref asks, but Batista says no. Cena charges Batista, but he eats a big spinebuster. Batista hits a Batista bomb, and the ref asks, but Cena says no.
Batista goes to the outside, where he begins to dismantle the Spanish announce table. He then takes apart the regular announce team’s table. Batista goes back toward the ring, where he grabs Cena’s leg and pulls him to the outside. Batista rolls Cena up onto one of the tables, and he tries for the Batista bomb, but Cena counters, almost hitting the AA. Batista fights out of it, and hits a powerslam, sending Cena through the Spanish announce table, and Cena is somehow busted open. Doctors rush out to patch up Cena, and I’m going to roll my eyes, just like Punk. The ref asks Cena, and he’s slow to say it, but he still says no.
Batista stands over Cena while the trainer works on him. When it’s all over, Batista picks up Cena, and sends him over the barricade and out into the crowd. Batista takes Cena out, and up into the stands, up the stairs. Batista has Cena in a head lock, and he takes him to the top of the stands, where he slams him into a wall. They fight out, and up another set of stairs. Batista grabs the mic and tells Cena to quit, or he’ll go over the railing of the stairs. The ref asks Cena, but Cena still says no. Batista picks Cena up, and he gets Cena in position for the Batista bomb, but Cena fights out of it and pounds on Batista. Cena sends Batista over the railing, where he hangs on, but Cena hits him with a couple of rights, and Batista falls back into a bunch of security guards. The ref asks Batista, and he screams no.
Cena chases Batista back down the stairs and toward the fans in the ringside area. Cena hits Batista with a right and he falls down the last few stairs. Cena hits Batista with a couple of rights, and they fight back to the entrance ramp, where Cena hits Batista with another series of rights. Batista grabs a chair from somewhere, and he hits Cena in the ribs before wailing on his back. Batista goes back to work on the ribs and back of Cena, just whacking him repeatedly with the chair. The referee asks Cena, but Cena says no. Another big chair shot from Batista, and Batista gets into one of the cars on the stage, that conveniently has the keys in it. Batista throws it into reverse, and he tries to back over Cena, running into the stage lights.
Batista gets out of the car, but Cena is up and he pulls Batista out of the car. He slams Batista head first repeatedly into the car, before picking him up, and laying him out with an AA on the hood of the car. The referee asks, but Batista does not quit. Cena says he was really hoping he would say that. Cena grabs Batista, and they go up to the top of the car, where Cena gets Batista in AA position. Batista flails his arms, and quits. Cena still hits the AA off the top of the car, sending Batista through the entrance ramp.
Winner: John Cena
- After the match, we go to replays of Cena throwing Batista through the stage floor. John Cena grabs his WWE Title and celebrates. Cena is celebrating on the ramp. He turns around to a big kick to the face from Sheamus. Over the Limit goes off the air with Sheamus standing over a laid out Cena.
