JERICHO RETURNING?

On Twitter, Chris Jericho teased a return to WWE.

He wrote this afternoon, "Happy to say that I'll be making my triumphant return to the WWE tomorrow night...."

WRESTLEMANIA WEEK PLANS

The WrestleMania 27 go-home RAW in Chicago on March 28th will also serve as the go-home SmackDown show as there will be no tapings on March 29th. SmackDown that Friday will also be made up of clips from Axxess. The WWE crews will fly into Atlanta after RAW that week where there will be a ring set up at their hotel to practice in. The hotel is most likely rented out to WWE personnel only and will be under lockdown to anyone not with WWE.

PRACTICE OF SEGMENT BEFORE RAW

There was a more than usual amount of practicing before RAW on Monday with Snooki, Vickie Guerrero, Layla, Michelle McCool and Trish Stratus rehearsing their segment since Snooki and Vickie aren’t trained wrestlers.

RAW RATINGS 3/14

The March 14th episode of WWE RAW did a 3.66 rating with 5.68 million viewers. This week’s show was seen by 69% male viewers and in the Males 18-49 demographic, it was up from last week’s show with Steve Austin, with a 3.49 rating.

In the segment breakdown, The Rock’s segment with the fake John Cena opened the show with a 3.80 rating. The interview with The Miz and his match with The Great Khali lost 386,000 viewers, another decline for The Miz since being pushed as WWE Champion.

The Triple H video and backstage segment with Snooki, John Morrison, Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler lost 297,000 more viewers. Sheamus winning the United States Title from Daniel Bryan gained 226,000 viewers. On the previous show with Steve Austin, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan lost big time following Austin’s return segment. The gain for this week’s title match shows that probably any mid-card talent would have lost big following Austin’s return.

The segment with Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, Brian Christopher, Jim Ross and Jack Swagger gained 928,000 viewers and was RAW’s peak rating this week with a 4.11 rating. Randy Orton vs. Mason Ryan lost 621,000 viewers which isn’t good. The Drew Carey Hall of Fame announcement, promo from Michael Cole and segment with Snooki lost 301,000 viewers. The Trish Stratus vs. Vickie Guerrero match and post-match with Snooki, Layla, Michelle McCool, John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler gained 406,000 viewers to a 3.77 rating which is an above average increase for that period in the show.

The 15 minute overrun with the main event of Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena and the attack from The Miz lost 270,000 viewers, falling to a 3.59 rating. Considering that Cena is a solid ratings draw, this can be seen as a negative sign for The Miz and/or Del Rio. The last 5 minutes of that 15 minute overrun did come back and gain 290,000 viewers. This could be attributed to people tuning into the USA Network for their next show because RAW usually isn’t on at 11:15pm.

KELLY KELLY WRESTLEMANIA NEWS

Kelly Kelly could be added to the corner of Snooki, Trish Stratus and John Morrison at WrestleMania 27 to offset Vickie Guerrero, who will be in Layla, Michelle McCool and Dolph Ziggler's corner.

While The Rock wasn't scheduled for any live RAW appearances until after WrestleMania, he is now scheduled for the go-home show on March 28th in Chicago, IL. As noted before, he will also be appearing on the RAW after WrestleMania on April 4th in Atlanta.

SHAWN MICHAELS DOING TV PROJECT?

Shawn Michaels, who visited friends at Tuesday's SmackDown tapings, was in Kansas City this week to work with business partners on a new project. HBK indicated last night that he was working on something for TV. He wrote:

"Fixin to hunker down w/my biz partners & pull a full blown work/brainstorming session. I luv these. Used 2 do the same w/matches. I enjoy the brainstorming sessions but man does my head hurt...& we're not done. Thank goodness 4 a little break in the action. Finally done & goin 2 bed. Don't let anyone tell u creating TV is easy. I've been in easier street fights. I shoulda studied more."

JIM ROSS INJURED??

Jim Ross may have been injured at Monday's RAW when Jack Swagger got a little too excited doing the ankle lock. In what could just be Ross keeping with the storylines, he wrote the following on his blog Wednesday morning:

"With the insistence of my bride, I will make a doctor's visit today to have him check out my ankle and knee as a result of the activities of Monday Night Raw. I expect everything to be fine. I'm sore, which should come as no surprise, but soreness is temporary. For the record, Jack Swagger is a pure beast and Michael Cole is 100% tool.

DEMO VERSION OF WWE ALL-STAR WILL BE OUT

THQ has announced that there will be a WWE All Stars demo available March 22nd on Xbox Live and March 23rd on the Playstation Network. The demo will allow players to play two-player local multiplayer with 4 different classes including Brawler and Acrobat. The Ultimate Warrior will be representing the Brawlers while Rey Mysterio will be playable from the Acrobats class.

WHO WILL INDUCT DREW CARREY

Word going around WWE is that former The Price is Right and RAW guest host Bob Barker will be inducting Drew Carey into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Carey is the current host of The Price is Right.

MATCH CHANGE AT SMACKDOWN LAST NIGHT

At last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings, they changed the advertised match of Edge and Christian vs. Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel for the WWE Tag Team Titles to Big Show and Kane as the challengers. No word yet on the reason for the change but a mid-day Twitter post from Christian indicates that he was still planning to team with Edge before the tapings began.

WWE SIGNS NEW WRESTLER

WWE has reportedly signed Ohio independent wrestler Matt Justice (Matthew Hannan) to a developmental deal. Matt has worked several matches for WWE over the past year including the Alberto Del Rio mini Royal Rumble match on SmackDown in January.

SMACKDOWN DARK MAIN EVENT

Kane, Kofi Kingston, Christian and Rey Mysterio defeated The Corre and Alberto Del Rio after last night’s SmackDown tapings.
