FAN THROWN OUT FROM RAW LIVE EVENTS

A fan was thrown out of the WWE RAW live event on Friday night in New Orleans. Chris Jericho, before his match with John Cena, cut a promo on the fans and said that Cena is going down like the city did after Hurricane Katrina. Obviously Jericho got some major heat for this comment. Jericho was thrown over the fan barrier and into the first row during the match and was touched by a fan, which upset him. A fan then threw ice into Jericho’s eye and was escorted out of the building. The other fans who touched Jericho were also kicked out.

STARS WHO MISSED THIS WEEKS LIVE EVENT, LAWLER VS EDGE

Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase and John Morrison missed this weekend’s RAW live events to heal up with their injuries. Sheamus also had the weekend off and for a third straight weekend, CM Punk missed the SmackDown live events.

Jerry Lawler wrestled in the semi-main event of the RAW live event in his hometown of Memphis this weekend. Lawler lost to Edge but hit him with a piledriver after the match.

GAIL KIM ON NEW MOVIE. ROYAL KILL

Gail Kim’s new movie Ninjas Creed, formerly called Royal Kill, will finally be released on DVD July 20th. The movie also features Pat Morita of Karate Kid fame, actor Eric Roberts and a small role with former WWE star Jimmy Wang Yang as a police officer. Gail plays a female assassin in the movie. Below is the synopsis:
When a female assassin is sent to the U.S. to kill the last living heir to the modern-day Himalayan Kingdom, a royal soldier is also sent to protect the princess. When he is face-to-face with the assassin, his duty to the Kingdom becomes compromised. As they battle, secrets are uncovered and the line between good and evil is erased. Only one mission can be completed and only one person can survive.

BRET ON BEING RAW GENERAL MANAGER

RAW General Manager Bret Hart wrote the following on Facebook this weekend:
My life took an interesting turn this week when I decided to forfeit the United States championship for the simple reason that at this point in my life, I’m in no position to defend it on a regular basis (and God knows a host of other reasons) but it was a beautiful moment all the same. So when the WWE offered me the chance to become the new general manager of Raw, I jumped at the opportunity. I expect this will be one of the most interesting job titles I’ve ever had and I can assure all my WWE fans that I will do my best to be the most interesting and creative GM since the inception of general managers. As a note of interest, I’d like to say how proud I’ve been of Vicki Guerrero the last couple of years for doing the amazing job she’s done playing this role on Smackdown. I’m only learning it after one week that’s it’s a much more challenging role than people might realize and I can only hope to do as good of a job as she did.

MICKIE JAMES TO JOIN TNA? JOHN CENA GILLETTE PROGLIDE UPDATE

Apparently TNA began talking with Mickie James in late April, shortly after her release from WWE on the 22nd. As noted before, TNA is planning on offering Mickie a deal in late July after her 90-day no-compete clause with WWE expires. Mickie’s concert earlier this month was not the first time that her and Dixie Carter have recently met. The former Diva and TNA’s President met in-person shortly after Mickie’s WWE departure to begin informal talks on her joining the company.

John Cena will be the Grand Marshall of the Gillette Proglide 500 race on June 6th.
