* Kofi Kingston beat Jack Swagger to qualify for the King of the Ring. Swagger’s Eagle was still there.
* Alberto Del Rio beat Big Show by countout to qualify for KOTR. Del Rio’s personal ring announcer got involved and punched by Show.
* Edge and Paul Bearer segment backstage.
* Drew McIntyre beat MVP to qualify for KOTR.
* Kelly Kelly beat Michelle McCool. Kelly got a nice local reaction. LayCool beat her up after the match but Beth Phoenix returned to make the save.
* Edge came in the stands with Paul Bearer. Kane came out and ran to get Bearer. WWE filmed two endings to this segment, one where Kane comes out and nobody is there and another where the wheelchair is empty.
* Segment with Rosa Mendes, Hornswoggle, Jack Swagger. Rosa cooked Hornswoggle a Thanksgiving turkey.
* Cody Rhodes beat Rey Mysterio to qualify for KOTR. Alberto Del Rio was on commentary and got involved, attacking Rey. This let Cody get the win. Del Rio attacked Rey again after the match.

SMACKDOWN SPOILER 10/29
Dark Match:
* The Dudebusters beat Vance Archer and Luke Gallows.
SmackDown, Airing Friday:
* The WWE crew comes out to setup for Undertaker’s funeral.
* Kane and Paul Bearer open the show at Undertaker’s grave. Kane says Taker is never come back. Kane wants the fans to thank him for removing Taker’s false hope from their lives. Kane told everyone to bow their heads in a moment of silence for Taker. Alberto Del Rio came out and wants a shot at the World Title. Del Rio attacked Kane and Rey Mysterio came out, sending him to the back. Rey hit 619 on Paul Bearer. Kane threw Rey out but turned around to Edge, who hit him with a spear.
* Del Rio told Teddy Long to make him the #1 contender. Teddy announced Del Rio vs. Edge vs. Rey in a three-way match to determine Kane’s opponent for Survivor Series.
* Daniel Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler had the match won but the referee went down and didn’t see him get the pin. Vickie Guerrero was dressed like a cougar with a dog collar on. Another good match between these two.
* Matthews tried getting an interview with Paul Bearer but Kane interrupted and ran Josh off.
* Kelly Kelly was backstage when Cody Rhodes came in and wanted her mirror. Big Show came in and challenged Cody to a match. Cody said he’s a tag team wrestler but would face Show if he found a partner. Kelly whispered something to Show.
* Jack Swagger beat Kaval with the ankle lock.
* Teddy Long and Hornswoggle come out to host a Divas Halloween Costume Contest. Alicia Fox is Cleopatra, Rosa Mendes is a leprechaun, Melina is Spider Woman, Kelly Kelly was Little Bo Peep, The Bella Twins were Batman & Robin and LayCool were Beyonce & Lady Gaga. This turns into a match.
* Michelle McCool, Layla, Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes vs. Kelly Kelly, Melina and The Bella Twins is up next. Kelly pinned Rosa to win it for her team.
* Backstage segment with Edge and Rey Mysterio talking about tonight’s three-way.
* Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre talked about Nexus. Cody referred to their team as The Dashing Ones. Big Show and Kofi Kingston beat Drew and Cody when Show chokeslammed Cody. After the match, Drew left Cody in the ring. Cody called him back and said Drew is in his way. They argued and Cody said their team is finished.
* Edge defeated Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio in the main event to become the new #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title at Survivor Series. Edge speared Del Rio for the win. After the match, Kane came out for a staredown and held up the World Title to end the show.

SMACKDOWN REPORT 10/15
We start off with the Undertaker standing on the roof of the Rose Garden in Portland.
We are live on tape from Portland, Oregon and your announcers are Matt ‘I know 33 people who aren’t Cole Miners’ Striker, Todd ‘Can I Talk This Week’ Grisham, and Michael ‘Like a Virus’ Cole.
All three men wonder what Taker is doing on the roof and what it means for later tonight.
Teddy Long is in the ring and he has an announcement to make. He says that it is that time of year again. Not Christmas, but Bragging Rights. Last year, Smackdown brought the Bragging Rights trophy home and this year will be no different. We see the six men and the mysterious seventh man on Team Raw on the TitanTron. Teddy reminds us that Big Show is the team captain for Team Smackdown. He says that we will find out in a series of qualifying matches tonight.
Match Number One: Rey Mysterio versus ‘Dashing’ Cody Rhodes in a Team Smackdown Qualifying Match
Cody works on the wrist and arm that Alberto Del Rio previously injured. Rey rolls through and uses the ropes to escape with an arm drag. Rey runs towards Rhodes and Cody with a punch and Cody gets a near fall. Cody with a punch to the face and then he hits a gourdbuster on Rey and gets a near fall. Rhodes kicks Rey’s arm and then he connects with a forearm that knocks Rey back to the mat. Cody tries for a suplex but Rey escapes. Rey with a drop kick to the knees and Rhodes falls into the ropes. Rey starts the run for the 619 but Cody goes to the floor and we go to commercial.
We are back and Rhodes with a rear chin lock on Rey and he has his knee in Rey’s back. We see footage from the commercial break when Rey tried for a springboard move but Cody countered with a round kick that knocked Rey down. Rey gets to his feet and he counters and gets a near fall with a bridge. Cody with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Cody with a knee to the back as he applies a surfboard. Rey with kicks but Cody blocks a punch and applies a cross face chicken wing and body scissors on Mysterio as he works on the injured arm some more. Rey struggles to get to the ropes but he is successful in getting Cody to break the hold. Cody with kicks to the arm and then he punches Rey in the head.
Rhodes with a rolling knee drop to the back of the head and he gets a near fall. Rhodes with a punches to Rey after pushing Rey into the ropes. It works a second time but Rey with a kick on the third attempt. Cody tries for a wheelbarrow suplex and he hits it. Cody makes the cover but he takes too long and Rey kicks out. Cody pulls Rey towards the corner and Cody goes to the turnbuckles for a knee drop but Rey moves out of the way. Rey with a drop toe hold that sends Cody into the turnbuckles. Rey goes up top with a seated senton. Rey with a springboard cross body but Cody rolls through and gets a near fall on Rey.
Rhodes with a punch to the midsection and then he gets a sunset flip but Rey rolls through and kicks Cody to get a near fall. Rey with a drop kick to the knee one more time and then he hits a springboard leg drop on Rhodes but he can only get a two count. Rhodes with a drop down uppercut and then he tries for the Alabama Slam but Rey gets out of the hold. Rey with a tilt-a-whirl head scissors followed by the 619 and diving splash for the three count.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
We go to commercial.
We are back and we go to Big Show’s locker room and he has Hornswoggle and he is still in his blue face paint and Viking hat. Show wants to know if Hornswoggle ate all of his candy and he tells Hornswoggle that if he eats it all, he will get fat.
Kaval enters the locker room. Kaval says that he knows that Show is the captain at Bragging Rights and he says that if he is given the chance, he will contribute to the team. Show says that Kaval is new here, which Kaval acknowledges but he says that he can contribute to the team. Show tells Kaval to slow his roll. Kaval says that everyone starts off slow and he asks Show what he did in his first match. Show tells Kaval that he won the World Title. Kaval reminds us that he won Season Two of NXT and he knows that he can help.
Show says that he is looking for seasoned veterans. Kaval wants to know if Show is saying that he isn’t big enough. Show says that Kaval wouldn’t last five minutes with him. Kaval says that he thinks he can. Kaval suggests that if he lasts five minutes with Show, he should be added to Team Smackdown. Show tells Kaval that if he can last five minutes, he has earned his spot on the team.
Kaval leaves and Hornswoggle grunts and Show says that he is not a heightist.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Paul Bearer has the urn and he tells Undertaker that the time for the final reckoning is nigh. He says that he presents the instrument of his ultimate destruction. He offers Taker one last opportunity to take back the holy grail in a fight with his son, the Devil’s Favorite Demon . . . Kane. The winner will be World Champion and the loser will be buried alive. There will be a gravesite at Bragging Rights where Taker will meet his end inside a crypt.
Paul says that Taker will accept the challenge because of Taker’s pride which is his downfall. Pride made Taker vulnerable to the attack that left him in a vegetative state on Memorial Day. It was pride that led to Taker’s humiliation at the hands of Kane at Night of Champions. It was pride that allowed Paul to fool him and shatter him at the side of his son at Hell in a Cell.
Paul says that because of his pride Taker, will be beaten, broken and incapacitated, but that will be the start of it. While Taker is still breathing, he will be pitched down a filthy pit, a grave for the damned. A wormhole with room enough only for Taker to suffer. By then, Kane will scoop up the earth and shovelful by shovelful it will cover Taker’s flesh until he is buried in darkness. Paul says that Kane’s plan is almost complete. When they arrive tonight and Kane calls Taker to destiny’s door, we will see the shell of a man that Taker has become. The Devil’s Favorite Demon will tower over him. Paul says that he looks forward to that glorious moment.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Did You Know that a lot of kids participate in the Wrestlemania Reading Challenge.
Big Show is introduced and he comes to the ring. He joins the announce team for the next match.
Match Number Two: Jack Swagger with the Swagger Soaring Eagle versus Montel Vontavious Porter in a Team Smackdown Bragging Rights Qualifying Match
Porter punches Swagger and kicks him in the corner and the referee warns him. Porter with a drop toe hold and then he hits a running boot to the head and Porter gets a near fall. Porter punches Swagger but Swagger sends Porter shoulder first into the ring post. Porter sends Swagger into the turnbuckles and then Porter with a boot to the head. Porter with a clothesline or three. Porter sends Swagger into the air and then he hits the facebuster and tries for the Ballin’ Elbow. Porter hits the elbow and then he waits for Swagger to get to his feet but Swagger goes to the floor.
The Eagle gets in the way and Porter kicks the Eagle and sends him over the announce table. Swagger sends Porter into the ring post and then they return to the ring and Swagger puts Porter in the ankle lock and Porter taps.
Winner: Jack Swagger
Swagger does a few laps in the ring after the match to celebrate. Swagger then checks on the Eagle.
We go back outside and Undertaker is still standing on the roof of the building. We go to commercial.
We are back with the Make a Wish video package.
Match Number Three: Alberto Del Rio versus Chris Masters in a Bragging Rights Qualifying Match for Team Smackdown
They lock up and Del Rio backs Masters into the corner and Del Rio kicks Masters and tries for a suplex but Masters blocks it and he gives Del Rio a jackhammer for a near fall. Masters tries for the Master Lock but Del Rio gets to the ropes before it is locked in. Del Rio drops Masters’ arm on the top rope and then he kicks Masters. Del Rio works on the arm and he stomps on the elbow and gets a near fall. Del Rio with a key lock on Masters but Masters with punches. Del Rio with a knee to Masters. Masters with a Samoan drop and both men are down. Masters with clotheslines but Del Rio hits Masters in the arm. Masters with a one arm power slam and he gets a near fall. Masters tries for the Master Lock again but Del Rio with a double knee arm breaker and then he locks in the cross arm breaker and gets Masters to tap out.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
After the match, Del Rio goes to the floor and Show offers his hand to Del Rio to thank him for being on the team. Del Rio winks at Show and refuses to shake his hand. Show is impressed with Del Rio even though he did not shake his hand.
With Big Show at the announce table, it is time for a look at Knucklehead.
Edge is walking in the back and he sees Rosa Mendes stretching as we go to commercial.
We see footage from last week when Kaitlyn interfered to help Dolph Ziggler beat Montel Vontavious Porter last week on Smackdown.
Match Number Four: Edge versus Dolph Ziggler in a Team Smackdown Qualifying Match
They lock up and Edge with a waist lock. Ziggler with a standing switch. Edge with an arm drag take down into an arm bar. Edge punches Ziggler and kicks Dolph. Edge punches Ziggler in the back and we see Vickie and Kaitlyn in the back watching on a monitor.
Edge with forearms to Ziggler followed by an Irish whip. Edge slides under Ziggler and Edge trips Ziggler. Edge sends Ziggler into the turnbuckles. Edge with a head butt but Ziggler with a forearm and he chokes Edge in the ropes. Ziggler with a snap mare and then he hits a leap frog neck snap and gets a near fall. Ziggler with a chin lock and arm bar on Edge.
They get back to their feet. Edge Irish whips Ziggler and Dolph goes to the floor. Edge with a baseball slide that takes Ziggler down. Edge sends Ziggler back into the ring and Edge takes too long to get back into the ring so Ziggler is able to recover and he kicks Edge and then hits a neck breaker on Edge as he continues to work on the surgically repaired neck. Ziggler gets a near fall on Edge and then he kicks him in the chest. Ziggler with another near fall. Ziggler with an elbow drop but Edge with punches. Edge with an Irish whip but Dolph with an elbow. Dolph goes to the turnbuckles but Edge kicks Dolph off the turnbuckles and Dolph goes to the floor. Edge tries for a spear on the floor but Dolph moves out of the way and Edge hits the ringside barrier. Dolph with a Zig Zag into the steps.
Ziggler returns to the ring and Edge is on the floor but he is able to get back into the ring before the ten count. Ziggler shows his frustration with punches and kicks to Edge as we go to commercial.
We are back and Ziggler with a reverse chin lock, arm bar, and body scissors. Edge gets back to his feet but Ziggler with elbows to the neck but he misses a splash into the corner. Edge with a flapjack and both men are down. Edge with a few clotheslines followed by a face plant for a near fall. Ziggler with a kick and he gets a sunset flip but Edge rolls through and he catapults Ziggler into the ring post. Edge with an Edge-o-Matic and he gets a near fall.
Ziggler punches Edge and then he tries for a sleeper but Edge is able to prevent Ziggler from locking it in. Edge with an Impaler DDT for a near fall. Ziggler sends Edge into the turnbuckles and Ziggler tries for another Zig Zag but Edge holds on to the ropes. Edge pulls his hair to signal that he is getting ready for the spear. Ziggler leap frogs Edge and then Ziggler goes to the turnbuckles but when he comes off the turnbuckles, Edge hits a Spear for the three count.
Winner: Edge
After the match, Big Show applauds both men’s performance from the match.
We go back outside and Undertaker is still maintaining his perch on the building to protect Portland from evil.
We go to commercial.
We are back with the Raw Rebound.
Match Number Five: Big Show versus Kaval in a Five Minute Challenge for Kaval’s shot at Team Smackdown for Bragging Rights
Show offers his hand and Kaval shakes it. Kaval with a kick to the leg but Show blocks another kick and he connects with a chop. Show with another chop in the corner. Show stands on Kaval’s back. Show picks up Kaval and then he sends him back to the mat. Show stands on Kaval. Show with a punch to the midsection and then he picks Kaval up for a slam. Kaval struggles to get up and he punches Show in the hip a few times but Show with a forearm to the back.
We are halfway through the match and Show with another chop to Kaval’s chest. Kaval pushes Show and flails to punch him. Show puts Kaval in the corner and he chops Kaval one more time. Show with a biel that sends Kaval across the ring. Show picks up Kaval and he pushes Kaval over the top rope to the floor. We are under a half minute and Show brings Kaval back into the ring. Kaval with kicks and then he drop kicks Show in the knees when Show charges into the corner. Kaval with a kick from the turnbuckles and then he takes Show down with a knee. Kaval blocks a choke slam attempt and he last the full five minutes.
Winner: Kaval
After the match, Show shakes Kaval’s hand and helps him up and raises his arm.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Kaval is still in the ring.
Tyler Reks comes out and Kaval has a shocked look on his face.
Tyler says that it is so sweet that WWE’s favorite new superstar has a spot on Team Smackdown. He says that it is a joke. Tyler says that he is the breakout superstar. He says that if anyone deserves a spot on Team Smackdown it should be him. He can beat giants and he knows that he can beat Kaval.
Teddy Long comes out and he tells Tyler that he cannot let him face Kaval after going five minutes with Big Show.
Kaval says that he doesn’t need a babysitter and if Tyler wants his spot, he will have to come in the ring and take it from him.
Teddy allows the match to happen.
Match Number Six: Tyler Reks versus Kaval in a Kaval’s spot on Team Smackdown is on the Line Match
They lock up and Reks sends Kaval into the turnbuckles. Kaval with kicks to Reks and Kaval goes to the turnbuckles. Kaval tries for the Warrior’s Way but Reks moves. Reks with a shoulder tackle and then he kicks Kaval. Reks with a Burning Hammer for the three count.
Winner: Tyler Reks
We go to commercial.
We are back with a Cody Rhodes Grooming Tip. Cody shows us photos of dirty finger nails while he talks about long, dirty, filthy, unkempt finger nails. They are a turn off for today’s modern man. Cody shows how to clip a finger nail properly without damaging your cuticles. Cody says that he uses an emery board instead of a nail file when he is done clipping his finger nails. He shows us the proper technique. He says that sometimes he adds clear nail polish and he says that nail polish isn’t just for women. It gives the nails a sparkling shine. We are now one step closer to being dashing.
Match Number Seven: Drew McIntyre versus Kofi Kingston in a Who is the Final Man on Team Smackdown at Bragging Rights Match
They lock up and Drew backs Kofi into the turnbuckles and he connects with a knee instead of a clean break. Drew with kicks to Kofi and then he sends Kofi to the mat. Kofi runs Drew into the turnbuckles and then he punches Drew until the referee pulls him out of the corner. Kofi sets for his leap onto the turnbuckles but Drew sees it coming and he gets up his boots for Kofi. Drew gets a near fall on Kofi. Drew goes to the floor and he punches Kofi. Drew suplexes Kofi onto the apron and then they return to the ring and Drew gets a near fall. Kofi holds on to the ropes and then when Drew tries for a belly-to-back suplex, Kofi counters with a lateral press and a near fall. Drew with head butts to the midsection followed by a punch. Kofi floats over Drew and then he hits Trouble in Paradise for the three count.
Winner: Kofi Kingston
We see the participants of Team Smackdown.
Undertaker has decided to enter the Rose Garden and we see him walking as we go to commercial.
We are back and Kane and Paul Bearer make their way to the ring.
Kane says that facts leave no room for arguments. Everyone hopes that his brother is more determined, more powerful, and more evil than ever. However, the facts are that he is a despondent, dejected, former shell of himself. The fact is that he is superior to his brother. The fact is that he is superior to everyone. The only thing that anyone has ever succeeded at is their relentless quest for mediocrity. They fail at everything else, just like his brother has failed to reclaim the World Title. First he failed in a No Holds Barred Match, then he failed at Hell in a Cell, and then he will fail at Bragging Rights. Kane says that everyone tries to use Undertaker to escape from their failed existences, their dead end jobs, their unattainable dreams, and their rudderless lives. Kane says that he forces everyone to face reality and there is no escape. Kane says that everyone would salivate at the opportunity to see the Dead Man destroy the Devil’s Favorite Demon. Deep down, they all know that it is never going to happen. If there is anyone watching who still believes that the Undertaker . . . the Phenom, can do anything to stop him, their hopes are going to be buried alive, just like his brother.
Paul approves his son’s comments once Kane is done.
The crowd chants for the Undertaker and then the gong goes off and the lights go out.
Undertaker’s pyro goes off and he makes his way to the ring.
Taker and Kane stand face to face in the center of the ring. Taker looks at Paul Bearer and the urn and then back to Kane. Taker kicks and punches Kane as Paul gets out of the ring. Taker with punches and kicks in the corner and then he connects with an uppercut. Taker with jabs and kicks and Kane gets to the floor.
Undertaker summons the fire from the ring posts as Kane and Paul Bearer retreat to the stage. Taker sets off pyro on the stage in front of Kane and Paul Bearer and both men are in shock.
Taker poses in the ring and we go to credits.

It works a second time but Rey with a kick on the third attempt. Cody tries for a wheelbarrow suplex and he hits it. Cody makes the cover but he takes too long and Rey kicks out. Cody pulls Rey towards the corner and Cody goes to the turnbuckles for a knee drop but Rey moves out of the way. Rey with a drop toe hold that sends Cody into the turnbuckles. Rey goes up top with a seated senton. Rey with a springboard cross body but Cody rolls through and gets a near fall on Rey.
Rhodes with a punch to the midsection and then he gets a sunset flip but Rey rolls through and kicks Cody to get a near fall. Rey with a drop kick to the knee one more time and then he hits a springboard leg drop on Rhodes but he can only get a two count. Rhodes with a drop down uppercut and then he tries for the Alabama Slam but Rey gets out of the hold. Rey with a tilt-a-whirl head scissors followed by the 619 and diving splash for the three count.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
We go to commercial.
We are back and we go to Big Show’s locker room and he has Hornswoggle and he is still in his blue face paint and Viking hat. Show wants to know if Hornswoggle ate all of his candy and he tells Hornswoggle that if he eats it all, he will get fat.
Kaval enters the locker room. Kaval says that he knows that Show is the captain at Bragging Rights and he says that if he is given the chance, he will contribute to the team. Show says that Kaval is new here, which Kaval acknowledges but he says that he can contribute to the team. Show tells Kaval to slow his roll. Kaval says that everyone starts off slow and he asks Show what he did in his first match. Show tells Kaval that he won the World Title. Kaval reminds us that he won Season Two of NXT and he knows that he can help.
Show says that he is looking for seasoned veterans. Kaval wants to know if Show is saying that he isn’t big enough. Show says that Kaval wouldn’t last five minutes with him. Kaval says that he thinks he can. Kaval suggests that if he lasts five minutes with Show, he should be added to Team Smackdown. Show tells Kaval that if he can last five minutes, he has earned his spot on the team.
Kaval leaves and Hornswoggle grunts and Show says that he is not a heightist.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Paul Bearer has the urn and he tells Undertaker that the time for the final reckoning is nigh. He says that he presents the instrument of his ultimate destruction. He offers Taker one last opportunity to take back the holy grail in a fight with his son, the Devil’s Favorite Demon . . . Kane. The winner will be World Champion and the loser will be buried alive. There will be a gravesite at Bragging Rights where Taker will meet his end inside a crypt.
Paul says that Taker will accept the challenge because of Taker’s pride which is his downfall. Pride made Taker vulnerable to the attack that left him in a vegetative state on Memorial Day. It was pride that led to Taker’s humiliation at the hands of Kane at Night of Champions. It was pride that allowed Paul to fool him and shatter him at the side of his son at Hell in a Cell.
Paul says that because of his pride Taker, will be beaten, broken and incapacitated, but that will be the start of it. While Taker is still breathing, he will be pitched down a filthy pit, a grave for the damned. A wormhole with room enough only for Taker to suffer. By then, Kane will scoop up the earth and shovelful by shovelful it will cover Taker’s flesh until he is buried in darkness. Paul says that Kane’s plan is almost complete. When they arrive tonight and Kane calls Taker to destiny’s door, we will see the shell of a man that Taker has become. The Devil’s Favorite Demon will tower over him. Paul says that he looks forward to that glorious moment.

We are back and Did You Know that a lot of kids participate in the Wrestlemania Reading Challenge.
Big Show is introduced and he comes to the ring. He joins the announce team for the next match.
Match Number Two: Jack Swagger with the Swagger Soaring Eagle versus Montel Vontavious Porter in a Team Smackdown Bragging Rights Qualifying Match
Porter punches Swagger and kicks him in the corner and the referee warns him. Porter with a drop toe hold and then he hits a running boot to the head and Porter gets a near fall. Porter punches Swagger but Swagger sends Porter shoulder first into the ring post. Porter sends Swagger into the turnbuckles and then Porter with a boot to the head. Porter with a clothesline or three. Porter sends Swagger into the air and then he hits the facebuster and tries for the Ballin’ Elbow. Porter hits the elbow and then he waits for Swagger to get to his feet but Swagger goes to the floor.
The Eagle gets in the way and Porter kicks the Eagle and sends him over the announce table. Swagger sends Porter into the ring post and then they return to the ring and Swagger puts Porter in the ankle lock and Porter taps.
Winner: Jack Swagger
Swagger does a few laps in the ring after the match to celebrate. Swagger then checks on the Eagle.
We go back outside and Undertaker is still standing on the roof of the building. We go to commercial.
We are back with the Make a Wish video package.
Match Number Three: Alberto Del Rio versus Chris Masters in a Bragging Rights Qualifying Match for Team Smackdown
They lock up and Del Rio backs Masters into the corner and Del Rio kicks Masters and tries for a suplex but Masters blocks it and he gives Del Rio a jackhammer for a near fall. Masters tries for the Master Lock but Del Rio gets to the ropes before it is locked in. Del Rio drops Masters’ arm on the top rope and then he kicks Masters. Del Rio works on the arm and he stomps on the elbow and gets a near fall. Del Rio with a key lock on Masters but Masters with punches. Del Rio with a knee to Masters. Masters with a Samoan drop and both men are down. Masters with clotheslines but Del Rio hits Masters in the arm. Masters with a one arm power slam and he gets a near fall. Masters tries for the Master Lock again but Del Rio with a double knee arm breaker and then he locks in the cross arm breaker and gets Masters to tap out.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
After the match, Del Rio goes to the floor and Show offers his hand to Del Rio to thank him for being on the team. Del Rio winks at Show and refuses to shake his hand. Show is impressed with Del Rio even though he did not shake his hand.
With Big Show at the announce table, it is time for a look at Knucklehead.
Edge is walking in the back and he sees Rosa Mendes stretching as we go to commercial.
We see footage from last week when Kaitlyn interfered to help Dolph Ziggler beat Montel Vontavious Porter last week on Smackdown.
Match Number Four: Edge versus Dolph Ziggler in a Team Smackdown Qualifying Match
They lock up and Edge with a waist lock. Ziggler with a standing switch. Edge with an arm drag take down into an arm bar. Edge punches Ziggler and kicks Dolph. Edge punches Ziggler in the back and we see Vickie and Kaitlyn in the back watching on a monitor.
Edge with forearms to Ziggler followed by an Irish whip. Edge slides under Ziggler and Edge trips Ziggler. Edge sends Ziggler into the turnbuckles. Edge with a head butt but Ziggler with a forearm and he chokes Edge in the ropes. Ziggler with a snap mare and then he hits a leap frog neck snap and gets a near fall. Ziggler with a chin lock and arm bar on Edge.
They get back to their feet. Edge Irish whips Ziggler and Dolph goes to the floor. Edge with a baseball slide that takes Ziggler down. Edge sends Ziggler back into the ring and Edge takes too long to get back into the ring so Ziggler is able to recover and he kicks Edge and then hits a neck breaker on Edge as he continues to work on the surgically repaired neck. Ziggler gets a near fall on Edge and then he kicks him in the chest. Ziggler with another near fall. Ziggler with an elbow drop but Edge with punches. Edge with an Irish whip but Dolph with an elbow. Dolph goes to the turnbuckles but Edge kicks Dolph off the turnbuckles and Dolph goes to the floor. Edge tries for a spear on the floor but Dolph moves out of the way and Edge hits the ringside barrier. Dolph with a Zig Zag into the steps.
Ziggler returns to the ring and Edge is on the floor but he is able to get back into the ring before the ten count. Ziggler shows his frustration with punches and kicks to Edge as we go to commercial.
We are back and Ziggler with a reverse chin lock, arm bar, and body scissors. Edge gets back to his feet but Ziggler with elbows to the neck but he misses a splash into the corner. Edge with a flapjack and both men are down. Edge with a few clotheslines followed by a face plant for a near fall. Ziggler with a kick and he gets a sunset flip but Edge rolls through and he catapults Ziggler into the ring post. Edge with an Edge-o-Matic and he gets a near fall.
Ziggler punches Edge and then he tries for a sleeper but Edge is able to prevent Ziggler from locking it in. Edge with an Impaler DDT for a near fall. Ziggler sends Edge into the turnbuckles and Ziggler tries for another Zig Zag but Edge holds on to the ropes. Edge pulls his hair to signal that he is getting ready for the spear. Ziggler leap frogs Edge and then Ziggler goes to the turnbuckles but when he comes off the turnbuckles, Edge hits a Spear for the three count.
Winner: Edge
After the match, Big Show applauds both men’s performance from the match.
We go back outside and Undertaker is still maintaining his perch on the building to protect Portland from evil.

We are back with the Raw Rebound.
Match Number Five: Big Show versus Kaval in a Five Minute Challenge for Kaval’s shot at Team Smackdown for Bragging Rights
Show offers his hand and Kaval shakes it. Kaval with a kick to the leg but Show blocks another kick and he connects with a chop. Show with another chop in the corner. Show stands on Kaval’s back. Show picks up Kaval and then he sends him back to the mat. Show stands on Kaval. Show with a punch to the midsection and then he picks Kaval up for a slam. Kaval struggles to get up and he punches Show in the hip a few times but Show with a forearm to the back.
We are halfway through the match and Show with another chop to Kaval’s chest. Kaval pushes Show and flails to punch him. Show puts Kaval in the corner and he chops Kaval one more time. Show with a biel that sends Kaval across the ring. Show picks up Kaval and he pushes Kaval over the top rope to the floor. We are under a half minute and Show brings Kaval back into the ring. Kaval with kicks and then he drop kicks Show in the knees when Show charges into the corner. Kaval with a kick from the turnbuckles and then he takes Show down with a knee. Kaval blocks a choke slam attempt and he last the full five minutes.
Winner: Kaval
After the match, Show shakes Kaval’s hand and helps him up and raises his arm.

We are back and Kaval is still in the ring.
Tyler Reks comes out and Kaval has a shocked look on his face.
Tyler says that it is so sweet that WWE’s favorite new superstar has a spot on Team Smackdown. He says that it is a joke. Tyler says that he is the breakout superstar. He says that if anyone deserves a spot on Team Smackdown it should be him. He can beat giants and he knows that he can beat Kaval.
Teddy Long comes out and he tells Tyler that he cannot let him face Kaval after going five minutes with Big Show.
Kaval says that he doesn’t need a babysitter and if Tyler wants his spot, he will have to come in the ring and take it from him.
Teddy allows the match to happen.
Match Number Six: Tyler Reks versus Kaval in a Kaval’s spot on Team Smackdown is on the Line Match
They lock up and Reks sends Kaval into the turnbuckles. Kaval with kicks to Reks and Kaval goes to the turnbuckles. Kaval tries for the Warrior’s Way but Reks moves. Reks with a shoulder tackle and then he kicks Kaval. Reks with a Burning Hammer for the three count.
Winner: Tyler Reks
We go to commercial.
We are back with a Cody Rhodes Grooming Tip. Cody shows us photos of dirty finger nails while he talks about long, dirty, filthy, unkempt finger nails. They are a turn off for today’s modern man. Cody shows how to clip a finger nail properly without damaging your cuticles. Cody says that he uses an emery board instead of a nail file when he is done clipping his finger nails. He shows us the proper technique. He says that sometimes he adds clear nail polish and he says that nail polish isn’t just for women. It gives the nails a sparkling shine. We are now one step closer to being dashing.
Match Number Seven: Drew McIntyre versus Kofi Kingston in a Who is the Final Man on Team Smackdown at Bragging Rights Match
They lock up and Drew backs Kofi into the turnbuckles and he connects with a knee instead of a clean break. Drew with kicks to Kofi and then he sends Kofi to the mat. Kofi runs Drew into the turnbuckles and then he punches Drew until the referee pulls him out of the corner. Kofi sets for his leap onto the turnbuckles but Drew sees it coming and he gets up his boots for Kofi. Drew gets a near fall on Kofi. Drew goes to the floor and he punches Kofi. Drew suplexes Kofi onto the apron and then they return to the ring and Drew gets a near fall. Kofi holds on to the ropes and then when Drew tries for a belly-to-back suplex, Kofi counters with a lateral press and a near fall. Drew with head butts to the midsection followed by a punch. Kofi floats over Drew and then he hits Trouble in Paradise for the three count.
Winner: Kofi Kingston
We see the participants of Team Smackdown.
Undertaker has decided to enter the Rose Garden and we see him walking as we go to commercial.
We are back and Kane and Paul Bearer make their way to the ring.
Kane says that facts leave no room for arguments. Everyone hopes that his brother is more determined, more powerful, and more evil than ever. However, the facts are that he is a despondent, dejected, former shell of himself. The fact is that he is superior to his brother. The fact is that he is superior to everyone. The only thing that anyone has ever succeeded at is their relentless quest for mediocrity. They fail at everything else, just like his brother has failed to reclaim the World Title. First he failed in a No Holds Barred Match, then he failed at Hell in a Cell, and then he will fail at Bragging Rights. Kane says that everyone tries to use Undertaker to escape from their failed existences, their dead end jobs, their unattainable dreams, and their rudderless lives. Kane says that he forces everyone to face reality and there is no escape. Kane says that everyone would salivate at the opportunity to see the Dead Man destroy the Devil’s Favorite Demon. Deep down, they all know that it is never going to happen. If there is anyone watching who still believes that the Undertaker . . . the Phenom, can do anything to stop him, their hopes are going to be buried alive, just like his brother.
Paul approves his son’s comments once Kane is done.
The crowd chants for the Undertaker and then the gong goes off and the lights go out.
Undertaker’s pyro goes off and he makes his way to the ring.
Taker and Kane stand face to face in the center of the ring. Taker looks at Paul Bearer and the urn and then back to Kane. Taker kicks and punches Kane as Paul gets out of the ring. Taker with punches and kicks in the corner and then he connects with an uppercut. Taker with jabs and kicks and Kane gets to the floor.
Undertaker summons the fire from the ring posts as Kane and Paul Bearer retreat to the stage. Taker sets off pyro on the stage in front of Kane and Paul Bearer and both men are in shock.
Taker poses in the ring and we go to credits.

* Taker was shown backstage now. Paul Bearer and Kane came out and talked about Taker and a Buried Alive match. Taker came out and fought with Kane, sending he and Bearer to the back. Taker made lightning shoot down on them at the stage. This may have been the end of the show but Kane came back with the urn and fought Taker before running off.

SMACKDOWN REPORT 10/8
We are live on tape from Topeka, Kansas and your announcers are Matt ‘I’m Glad I was wrong about your announcing’ Striker and Todd ‘Steady as he goes’ Grisham.
Matt and Todd talk about how Paul Bearer gave the Undertaker’s urn to Kane, turning his back on the Undertaker. Kane will have something to say to the Undertaker tonight.
We have a special guest at the announce table as Michael ‘What did I do to deserve this’ Cole is the third man at the table.
Teddy Long comes out and he says that it is his distinct pleasure to introduce the newest superstar on Smackdown. It is a man he personally traded for, Edge.
Edge comes to the ring while Michael Cole explains why Edge was traded to Smackdown. Cole tells us that he is here because last night Miz said that he was a visionary.
Jack says that he is glad that Edge was traded back to his show. He wants to ruin Edge’s return to Friday night the same way that Edge ruined his return to Oklahoma. Swagger says that Edge ruined his return by spearing his personal mascot, the Swagger Soaring Eagle. Swagger wants to know why because he is friendly and the children love him. Swagger says that the Eagle is an endangered species and then he says that it is hard to get insurance for
Edge says that he wants Swagger to come to the ring so he can make him look stupid in three seconds. Edge then tells Swagger that he has no problem flipping the bird.
Swagger has to hold the Eagle back.
Match Number One: Edge versus Jack Swagger with the Swagger Soaring Eagle
They lock up and Swagger backs Edge into the corner and he goes for the ankle but Edge is in the ropes. Swagger goes for the leg again and he takes him down with a heel trip. Edge gets in the ropes and Swagger releases the hold. Swagger with a waist lock and take down and then he rides Edge and slaps him in the head and does push ups on Edge’s back. Edge goes to the floor and Swagger brings the Eagle onto the apron. Edge returns to the ring and Edge tries for a spear but he hits the Eagle instead of Jack and then the Eagle is knocked out.
We are back and Edge with a spinning heel kick. Edge with an Irish whip and Edge is sent to the apron and Swagger drops Edge’s arm on the top rope and Edge goes to the floor. Swagger pulls Edge’s shoulder into the ring post. Edge gets back into the ring and Swagger gets a near fall. Swagger with a key lock and then he hits a single arm DDT and gets a near fall. Swagger wraps Edge’s arm in the ropes as he continues to wear him down. Swagger works on the shoulder but Edge with punches. Swagger misses a cloteshline and Edge with a forearm and then he sends Swagger into the ropes with a drop toe hold and he hits a cross body to the back and gets a near fall.
Swagger catches Edge and hits a back breaker. Swagger goes for the double jump Swagger bomb but Edge moves out of the way. Edge with an elbow but Swagger pulls Edge off the turnbuckles and Edge counters with a tornado DDT. Edge gets a near fall. Edge goes to the turnbuckles and Swagger grabs Edge and hits a belly-to-belly suplex and gets a near fall. Edge goes to the floor and then he drops Swagger on the top rope. Edge sets for the spear as he pulls at his hair. Swagger blocks it but Edge tries for a sunset flip. Swagger goes for the ankle but Edge kicks him away. Swagger tries for the Doctor Bomb but Edge counters with an Edge-o-Matic and he gets a near fall.

We are back with a Dashing Cody Rhodes Grooming Tip. This week he talks about disgusting and yellow teeth. The proper care of your teeth is a must for any distinguished gentleman. Don’t use a regular toothbrush because it is for regular people. He says that you should use an electric toothbrush because it is easy to use and gentle on the gums. He tells you to remember to get to all of your teeth. Make sure not to swallow the toothpaste and spit it out gently. Rinse your mouth out with some bottled water. You are now one step closer to becoming dashing.
Match Number Two: Layla with Michelle McCool versus Kelly Kelly with Natalya
They lock up and Layla with a side head lock take down and hip toss. Layla pushes Kelly and Kelly pushes back. Layla with a kick to the midsection and Kelly with a waist lock. Layla kicks Kelly to the floor and Michelle kicks Kelly in the back when Layla distracts the referee. Layla clips the leg and gets a near fall. Layla works on the leg and Kelly tries to escape the hold. Kelly slams Layla’s head into the mat. Kelly with clotheslines to Layla followed by kicks and a Thesz Press and gets a near fall. Kelly sends Layla into the turnbuckles and then she goes for the handspring back elbow but Layla with a kick followed by the Lay Out for the three count.
Winner: Layla
After the match, Layla goes back into the ring and Natalya tries to put Layla in the Sharpshooter but Layla escapes to fight another day.

Big Show comes to the ring and he does it in record time. Show says that you never saw a fat man run that fast. Show says that October is a huge month for him. October 22nd, Knucklehead comes out. Bragging Rights is on October 24th and Show tells us that he is the team captain for Team Smackdown. Show says that he had to find a way to unify the locker room and get a symbol to rally around. He needed to find something that Team Smackdown can believe in. He brings out Team Smackdown’s mascot. It is Hornswoggle and he looks like a Viking now. Show says that Smurfette did not grow a beard, it is Hornswoggle. Show says that he is going to find the best superstars to find a team to beat Raw at Bragging Rights.
The Dudebusters come out and they have their Smackdown shirts on. Show asks them if they can help him. They say that they are the guys for Team Smackdown. Show tells them that he doesn’t know who they are. Show wants to know who they really are. Show appreciates their enthusiasm, but he needs some time to make a decision. Trent says that they can go to Teddy Long and get traded to Raw so they can be on Miz’s team.
Trent and Caylen remove their Smackdown shirts and have Raw shirts on. Show says that he needs some time and he asks Hornswoggle for advice. Show says that is a good idea and then he gives Croft and Barreta a double choke slam. Then Hornswoggle turns into a bull as Show uses the Raw shirt as a cape.
We see more footage of Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio from the night that Alberto finished off Rey’s shoulder.

Match Number Three: Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre versus Kaval and Kofi Kingston
Cody and Kofi start off and Cody with a kick and elbow. Drew is tagged in and he punches Kofi and connects with a knee to the midsection followed by punches. Drew with an Irish whip but he misses a boot in the corner. Kofi with punches and the referee pulls him away. Kofi misses a splash in the corner and Cody pulls Kofi down. Drew with an arm bar on Kofi but Kofi with an arm drag. Kofi tries to tag Kaval in but Drew grabs Kofi. Kofi with a sunset flip but Drew is able to tag in Cody and Cody kicks Kofi in the back of the head.
Cody with punches to Kofi but Kofi punches back. Cody with a kick and then he tries for the Alabama Slam but Kaval tags in and he connects with chops to the shoulder. Kaval with a handspring splash followed by kicks and then he connects with a forearm to Drew. Kaval with a series of kicks and then he applies the Dragon Sleeper but Drew with a kick to Kaval to get him to release the hold. Kofi sends Drew over the top rope to the floor but Cody sends Kofi over the top rope as well. Cody with a hot shot and then he hits Cross Rhodes for the three count.

We are back and Paul Bearer is in the center of the ring with the urn. He wants to introduce a man who should be respected. A man who should be feared and revered. He brings out the man who single handedly destroyed the myth of the Undertaker. The man who left him in a pathetic writhing mess on the canvas. He brings out the Devil’s Favorite Son . . . and his son . . .Kane.
Kane says that years ago when he was devising his plan, he never thought it would be so easy. He never thought his brother’s pride would make him so weak. Taker might have sent Paul Bearer to the dark side, but Kane says that he brought Paul back because he is more powerful that Taker could imagine. Kane says that liked seeing Paul turn his back on Taker as much as beating him. Kane says that everyone was deceived. Everyone thought that with the return of Paul Bearer, the Undertaker was once again whole. The only thing left was the Undertaker’s inevitable triumph. Kane says that was the most delicious part. With the fall of their idol, the Undertaker, everyone’s dreams came crashing down as well. Everyone realized that the Undertaker . . . the Phenom.
The man that everyone revered above everyone is just like you. Kane says that Taker is weak, pathetic, and helpless. He is at the mercy of his superiors. Just like the Undertaker, everyone answers to someone. Whether it is your parents, your spouse, or your boss, everyone answers to someone. Now the dead man answers to the Devil’s Favorite Demon. The legend of the Undertaker allowed everyone to escape reality. Kane says that he destroyed that legend and now the people only have their miserable empty lives. They return to the ring and Rey with a kick to the knee. Rey with a back heel kick and then he hits a running drop kick to a seated Del Rio. Rey with a kick and then he hits an Arabian Press for a near fall. Rey goes to the apron and then he goes up top but Del Rio with a rising enzuigiri and Rey is sent to the floor.

Bragging Rights is on October 24th and Show tells us that he is the team captain for Team Smackdown. Show says that he had to find a way to unify the locker room and get a symbol to rally around. He needed to find something that Team Smackdown can believe in. He brings out Team Smackdown’s mascot. It is Hornswoggle and he looks like a Viking now. Show says that Smurfette did not grow a beard, it is Hornswoggle. Show says that he is going to find the best superstars to find a team to beat Raw at Bragging Rights.
The Dudebusters come out and they have their Smackdown shirts on. Show asks them if they can help him. They say that they are the guys for Team Smackdown. Show tells them that he doesn’t know who they are. Show wants to know who they really are. Show appreciates their enthusiasm, but he needs some time to make a decision. Trent says that they can go to Teddy Long and get traded to Raw so they can be on Miz’s team.
Trent and Caylen remove their Smackdown shirts and have Raw shirts on. Show says that he needs some time and he asks Hornswoggle for advice. Show says that is a good idea and then he gives Croft and Barreta a double choke slam. Then Hornswoggle turns into a bull as Show uses the Raw shirt as a cape.

SMACKDOWN REPORT 9/10
Tonight we start with a look back at Kane’s comments last week to the Undertaker.
We are live on tape from Baltimore, Maryland and your announcers are Todd ‘Quote the Raven, Nevermore’ and Matt ‘John Waters’ Striker.
Matt and Todd wonder what condition Undertaker will be in tonight for his match against CM Punk.
Undertaker is already in the ring and he says that his brother Kane has always been a disturbed freak of nature. There were so many times that he had to protect Kane, not just from others but from himself. Taker says that he will have no regrets when he does what he has to do at Night of Champions. Kane attacked his own flesh and blood like a coward. Kane left him beaten, battered, and unconscious. Kane has given himself a false sense of confidence. He thinks that he has the tide of momentum on his side. Kane thinks that he has the power of the darkness. Taker says that power is his and he is still in control. Taker says that at Night of Champions, he will Kane some memories. They won’t be pleasant. Kane will remember the night that his older, wiser brother stopped his reign of terror. He will always remember his more evil, dominant brother took back his World Heavyweight Title. That brings him to why he is here.
He has something to say to Kane. When the time comes and they finally come face to face, he will know that they will open the gates of hell and unleash everything that they have on each other. He says that he can’t wait. He can’t wait for that night, but a fight of that magnitude, there are no rules that can contain them. There are no rules that will be able to stop them. Taker tells Kane that when they fight, and it will be a fight, it must be No Holds Barred. Taker wants to know what his little brother has to say. He wants to know if Kane is in and if he is confident.
We don’t hear from Kane, but we do hear from CM Punk who comes out to applaud Taker’s comments. Punk wants everyone to show the legend all of the adulation he deserves. The crowd complies and gives Taker a standing ovation. Punk says that if you are creature of the night or a fan of the phenom, he wants them to bask in what Taker is providing. Punk says that this is the dead man’s moment and he earned it. Punk says that they both know that these people will never see the Undertaker again. Punk says that he enjoys a good sibling rivalry. Punk says that he has been enjoying this saga. There is nothing that brings a smile to his face than seeing Taker on his own downward spiral. Punk says that he doesn’t see anything phenomenal in the ring. He sees a beat up, broken down man who has had one too many fights. He sees a man who has finally bitten off more than he can chew. He finally sees a man who is more delusional than the selfish, drunken, worthless people in the audience.
Taker says that when he sees CM Punk, he sees his next victim.
Punk says that is not the case. He says that Taker’s threats don’t have the panache they used to have. It is because there is doubt in his voice. Punk says that when he beats Taker tonight, he will be sending a message. He will be sending a message to his opponent at Night of Champions, the Big Show. We are back and we see highlights from last week when Montel Vontavious Porter mercilessly attacked Jack Swagger Senior last week on Smackdown in the All American American VIP Lounge.

Porter kicks Swagger to the floor and then he rolls him back into the ring. Porter with two German suplexes followed by a drop toe hold and a running knee to the back of the head for a near fall. Porter charges into the corner but Swagger with a clothesline. Swagger with an Irish whip and a running clothesline to the back of the head. Swagger with another clothesline to the back of the head and he gets a near fall. Swagger works on the arms and back as we go to commercial.
We are back and Swagger runs into an elbow but Porter runs into a big boot. Swagger tries for the double jump Swagger Bomb but he lands on Porter’s knees. Porter with an overhead belly-to-belly throw and then Porter with the running boot into the corner and Porter is only able to get a two count. Porter with punches to Swagger and then he sends Swagger into the air and he lands face first on the mat. Porter with a few clotheslines followed by a double thrust to the throat and then he hits the facebuster. Porter hits the Ballin’ Elbow and then Swagger goes to the floor before he can hit the Play of the Day. Porter goes to the floor and Swagger with a drop kick into the steps and the steps hit Porter in the knees. Swagger sends Porter’s ankle into the ring post. They return to the ring and Swagger clips Porter and then he applies the ankle lock and Porter taps.

Michelle and Layla are in the back trying to figure out who looks better while Kaval is sitting behind them. They talk about how funny it is that Teddy thinks that only Layla can face Melina at Night of Champions. They say that Teddy Long is always wrong. Layla talks about the stipulation in the contract thanks to Vickie that either of them can face Melina. Michelle talks about the look on Melina’s face when she gets in the ring. Layla says that she is facing Melina. Michelle says that she is facing Melina. Michelle says that she has beaten Melina a gazillion times. Layla says that she beat Melina twice. Michelle says that it was with her help.
Kaval tells them to calm down because it is his first night on Smackdown. Kaval mocks Michelle and Layla’s conversation, and then it is time for a rewind. Del Rio with a front face lock but Hardy with an Irish whip and running clothesline followed by a bulldog for a near fall. Hardy with a punch and then Del Rio tries for a splash into the ropes abut Hardy moves and Del Rio goes to the floor. Hardy with a baseball slide and then he goes to the floor. Hardy slams Del Rio’s head into the apron and then Del Rio with an enzuigiri that knocks Hardy off the apron as we go to commercial.
We are back and Del Rio with a reverse chin lock and they are back in the ring. Del Rio sends Hardy back to the mat thanks to a handful of Hardy’s hair. Del Rio with a kick to Hardy and then he chokes him in the ropes. Del Rio with a kick to the leg and then he hits a spinebuster for a near fall. Del Rio with a cravate into a reverse chin lock. Hardy with elbows and punches followed by a sunset flip for a near fall. Del Rio with a kick to Hardy’s head and he gets a near fall. Del Rio with kicks to the ribs and then he chokes Hardy in the ropes. Del Rio with a knee to the midsection and then he slams Hardy and gets a near fall. Del Rio returns to the reverse chin lock. Hardy with punches but Del Rio grabs the hair Hardy with more punches. Hardy with clotheslines followed by a Side Effect and Hardy gets a near fall. Hardy waits for Del Rio to get to his feet and he hits a clothesline or two in the corner and then he hits a third one and he tries for the bulldog but Del Rio escapes and he kicks Hardy. Hardy with an inverted DDT and side slam combination followed by a standing power slam. Hardy goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault and he hits it but Del Rio is able to kick out.
Hardy with an Irish whip but Del Rio floats over. Hardy sets for what appears to be an Acid Drop but Del Rio escapes and sends Hardy into the turnbuckles. Del Rio goes to the turnbuckles but Hardy stops Alberto. Hardy tries for a superplex but each man with head butts and Del Rio goes to the floor but he pulls Hardy with him and Hardy’s arm gets caught on the top rope. Del Rio sends Hardy into the ring post and then he hits the cross arm breaker and Hardy taps out.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
After the match, Alberto starts to work on the arm again but Christian comes to the ring and Alberto leaves the ring.

Kaval tries for a springboard move but Drew knocks him off the apron and Kaval hits the ropes before going to the floor.
Drew goes out after Kaval and he suplexes Kaval onto the apron. Drew sends Kaval back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Drew with crossfaces to the upper chest. Drew with an arm bar and cross face. Kaval with elbows but Drew with a knee. Drew tries for a suplex but Kaval with a knee to escape the hold and Kaval with a back heel kick. Kaval is tossed onto the top turnbuckle but Kaval hits a spin kick and he gets a near fall. Kaval goes up top for the Warrior’s Way but Drew rolls to the floor. Kaval with a kick and he tries for a seated senton onto Drew from the apron but Drew catches Kaval and he power bombs Kaval into the ringside barrier.
Drew rolls Kaval back into the ring and Drew sets for the Future Shock DDT and he hits it on a motionless Kaval for the three count.

After the match, Layla and Michelle come out to check on Kaval but he is too sweaty for them.

We are back with the latest “Dashing” Cody Rhodes Grooming Tip. He says that a dirty face with black heads and acne is unacceptable and unappealing. Cody turns around and he has a green facial mask on and he says that he is here to show us that we can be dashing. He says that a facial is so important for today’s man because it clears your pores and gives you porcelain like skin. He says that he is bringing us one step closer to ‘Dashing’.
Vickie Guerrero comes out and she is with her NXT rookie Kaitlyn. She has Kaitlyn introduces Vickie but Vickie says that it was mediocre and average. Vickie says that you need to be extraordinary if you are going to introduce her. Vickie shows Kaitlyn how to do it when she introduces her boyfriend and Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler.
We see footage from when Vickie got Dolph disqualified two weeks ago. Then we see how Vickie kept Dolph out of the ring the following week to retain the title. The match between Dolph and Kofi now has the stipulation that if Dolph is disqualified or counted out, he loses the title.
Match Number Four: Chavo Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero and Kaitlyn versus Chris Masters and Kofi Kingston
Dolph and Masters start things off and Dolph goes for the leg but Masters pushes him off. Masters with a clothesine and then he press slams Dolph and gets a near fall. Dolph with a knee and he tags in Chavo. Masters tries for the Master Lock but Chavo gets to the ropes. Masters knocks Ziggler off the apron with a punch. Chavo clips Masters and he starts to work on the leg. Dolph tags back in and he kicks Masters in the leg. Ziggler continues to work on the leg and Chavo adds a kick when Dolph was talking to the referee. Masters tries to make the tag and he succeeds. Kofi with the Superman punch followed by a few chops and a drop kick. Kofi leaps into the corner and he punches Dolph before rolling off. Dolph wit a kick and then we get a double clothesline and both men are down.
Chavo makes the tag but the referee was with Masters in the corner so he disallows the tag because he did not see it. Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise and he gets the three count.

After the match Vickie and Chavo argue with the referee but they are not getting to him.

Matt tells us that we are going to the back to Josh Mathews, but he looks a lot like Big Show who now sounds a little like Josh Mathews. “Josh” asks Show about his match with CM Punk and it is a one on one match. Show talks about how he took care of the three members of the Straight Edge Society. Kelly Kelly stops by and Show says that the SES will have a ‘giant’ problem.
Josh walks by and asks if Show or Kelly have seen his microphone. Kelly tells Show to give it to him and Show gives his mic back to Josh.

Match Number Five: CM Punk versus Undertaker
Taker misses a punch in the corner as Punk moves out of the way. Taker misses another punch but Punk with a kick. Punk with more kicks to the leg but Taker with a punch. Taker sends Punk into the turnbuckles and he punches Punk. Taker follows that with kicks and then he works on Punk’s previously injured arm. Taker works on the shoulder and he gets a near fall. Taker with a hammer lock and he sends Punk into the turnbuckle. Taker sets for Old School but Punk tries to pull Taker off the turnbuckles. Taker gets crotched when he tries for Old School and Punk with a drop kick that sends Taker to the floor. We go to commercial.
We are back and Punk works on Taker’s arm and shoulder and Punk asks Taker how he likes it. Punk with a leg drop to the arm and he gets a near fall. We see footage of Punk working on Taker during the commercial break. Punk with a figure four head scissors to Taker and Punk adds some elbows to the head. Punk with a punch to Taker and Taker goes to the floor. Punk runs Taker’s back into the ringside barrier and then Punk punches Taker and chokes him on the floor. They fight on the floor and Punk returns to the ring to break the count. Taker rolls Punk back in and Taker with a punch to the head while Punk is draped on the apron. Taker with the vintage leg drop on the apron and he hits it. Taker struggles to get back to his feet while Punk is down in the ring.
Taker misses a running boot into the corner and Punk with an enzuigiri for a near fall. Punk with a key lock on Taker and then he connects with elbows to the side of the head and he gets a near fall. Punk with a reverse chin lock as he gets Taker on the mat. Taker gets to his knees and then to his feet. Taker with a Saito suplex to get out of the hold. Taker misses an elbow drop and both men still struggle to get back to their feet. Punk with the running knee into the corner followed by the bulldog and Taker is barely able to kick out in time. Punk with double chops to the clavicle but Taker with punches to Punk. Punk and Taker exchange punches and Taker sends Punk to the mat a few times. Taker with an Irish whip and then he give Punk snake eyes but Punk with a leg lariat and Taker is down.
Punk goes to the apron and he tries for the springboard clothesline but Taker catches Punk and hits the choke slam but Punk is able to kick out. Taker signals that it is over and he tries for the Tombstone. Punk escapes and Punk hits the Go To Sleep on Taker. Punk cannot take advantage and he crawls across Taker for the cover, but he makes a fatal mistake and Taker locks in the Hell’s Gate.
Winner: Undertaker
After the match, Taker celebrates in the ring, but he looks around for his brother. Taker prepares to pose but Kane’s pyro goes off as we go to credits with Kane laughing in a devilish manner.

Matt and Todd wonder what condition Undertaker will be in tonight for his match against CM Punk.
Undertaker is already in the ring and he says that his brother Kane has always been a disturbed freak of nature. There were so many times that he had to protect Kane, not just from others but from himself. Taker says that he will have no regrets when he does what he has to do at Night of Champions. Kane attacked his own flesh and blood like a coward. Kane left him beaten, battered, and unconscious. Kane has given himself a false sense of confidence. He thinks that he has the tide of momentum on his side. Kane thinks that he has the power of the darkness. Taker says that power is his and he is still in control. Taker says that at Night of Champions, he will Kane some memories. They won’t be pleasant. Kane will remember the night that his older, wiser brother stopped his reign of terror. He will always remember his more evil, dominant brother took back his World Heavyweight Title. That brings him to why he is here.
He has something to say to Kane. When the time comes and they finally come face to face, he will know that they will open the gates of hell and unleash everything that they have on each other. He says that he can’t wait. He can’t wait for that night, but a fight of that magnitude, there are no rules that can contain them. There are no rules that will be able to stop them. Taker tells Kane that when they fight, and it will be a fight, it must be No Holds Barred. Taker wants to know what his little brother has to say. He wants to know if Kane is in and if he is confident.
We don’t hear from Kane, but we do hear from CM Punk who comes out to applaud Taker’s comments. Punk wants everyone to show the legend all of the adulation he deserves. The crowd complies and gives Taker a standing ovation. Punk says that if you are creature of the night or a fan of the phenom, he wants them to bask in what Taker is providing. Punk says that this is the dead man’s moment and he earned it. Punk says that they both know that these people will never see the Undertaker again. Punk says that he enjoys a good sibling rivalry. Punk says that he has been enjoying this saga. There is nothing that brings a smile to his face than seeing Taker on his own downward spiral. Punk says that he doesn’t see anything phenomenal in the ring. He sees a beat up, broken down man who has had one too many fights. He sees a man who has finally bitten off more than he can chew. He finally sees a man who is more delusional than the selfish, drunken, worthless people in the audience.
Taker says that when he sees CM Punk, he sees his next victim.

Taker with a hammer lock and he sends Punk into the turnbuckle. Taker sets for Old School but Punk tries to pull Taker off the turnbuckles. Taker gets crotched when he tries for Old School and Punk with a drop kick that sends Taker to the floor. We go to commercial.
We are back and Punk works on Taker’s arm and shoulder and Punk asks Taker how he likes it. Punk with a leg drop to the arm and he gets a near fall. We see footage of Punk working on Taker during the commercial break. Punk with a figure four head scissors to Taker and Punk adds some elbows to the head. Punk with a punch to Taker and Taker goes to the floor. Punk runs Taker’s back into the ringside barrier and then Punk punches Taker and chokes him on the floor. They fight on the floor and Punk returns to the ring to break the count. Taker rolls Punk back in and Taker with a punch to the head while Punk is draped on the apron. Taker with the vintage leg drop on the apron and he hits it. Taker struggles to get back to his feet while Punk is down in the ring.
Taker misses a running boot into the corner and Punk with an enzuigiri for a near fall. Punk with a key lock on Taker and then he connects with elbows to the side of the head and he gets a near fall. Punk with a reverse chin lock as he gets Taker on the mat. Taker gets to his knees and then to his feet. Taker with a Saito suplex to get out of the hold. Taker misses an elbow drop and both men still struggle to get back to their feet. Punk with the running knee into the corner followed by the bulldog and Taker is barely able to kick out in time. Punk with double chops to the clavicle but Taker with punches to Punk. Punk and Taker exchange punches and Taker sends Punk to the mat a few times. Taker with an Irish whip and then he give Punk snake eyes but Punk with a leg lariat and Taker is down.
Punk goes to the apron and he tries for the springboard clothesline but Taker catches Punk and hits the choke slam but Punk is able to kick out. Taker signals that it is over and he tries for the Tombstone. Punk escapes and Punk hits the Go To Sleep on Taker. Punk cannot take advantage and he crawls across Taker for the cover, but he makes a fatal mistake and Taker locks in the Hell’s Gate.
Winner: Undertaker
After the match, Taker celebrates in the ring, but he looks around for his brother. Taker prepares to pose but Kane’s pyro goes off as we go to credits with Kane laughing in a devilish manner.

SMACKDOWN SPOILER 9/10
WWE Smackdown (Airing Friday on MyNetworkTV):
Kane/Taker recap video to open, then usual SD open and pyro.
They announced Taker and Punk, and then the gong hit and Taker was in the ring, fire going off on stage. He talked about how he’s had to protect Kane from others and himself, so he’ll have no problem beating on him at the PPV. Taker says he still controls the power of the darkness. He said Kane will always remember his older, wiser, more evil brother would take his title back. Taker says no rules can contain them, and says the match must be no holds barred.
CM Punk comes out alone, clapping. He tells everyone to stand and give Taker a round of applause fitting his legendary status. Punk says after the PPV none of us will see Taker again. He enjoys watching Taker on his own downward spiral, seeing a broken down man who’s had one too many fights and is delusional.
Taker says he sees his next victim. Punk says he doesn’t hear the same panache in Taker’s voice, saying he’s facing Big Show at the PPV (for no title I guess?) Taker says Punk will rest in peace, and we break.
Jack Swagger vs. MVP – they showed a recap of last week’s VIP Lounge. It looks like MVP added the triple German suplexes, but only got two before Swagger elbowed out. Swagger did an abdominal stretch on MVP through the ropes. MVP hit the Ballin elbow, but Swagger slipped away before the 305. MVP followed and Swagger kicked the steps into MVP’s knee, leading to the ankle lock for the tap.
Laycool and Kaval in the back, arguing over who would face Melina, saying Vickie let either defend. Kaval said it was his first night on SD, and could the girls please chill? They heeled him a bit, saying he wouldn’t be there if not for them.

Tony Chimel announces Alberto del Rio’s ring announcer, who announced Alberto.
Alberto del Rio (with Orton’s old sparkler curtain) vs. Matt Hardy – Matt’s back to camouflage pants and no singlet. Alberto hit Matt on the apron with a running enziguri that was real loud. Matt hit an inverted Twist of Fate, ending with an elbowdrop for two, followed by a moonsault for two. They fought up top, with Alberto dropping to the floor to hang Matt’s gut. Ram to the post followed by a flip into the cross-armbreaker for the tap. Afterwards, Christian ran Alberto off. Long TV match.
Drew McIntyre vs. Kaval (who already has better music and video than Daniel Bryan) – Drew hit a nasty suplex on the floor, landing Kaval on the apron. Kaval with an enziguri from the top rope, but Drew rolled out before Warrior’s Way. Kaval went for a rana from the apron but Drew essentially powerbomed Kaval. Back in the ring, Drew hit the Future Shock DDT for three. Laycool came out to check on Kaval, but were icky at his sweat. They helped him to the back.
DASHING Cody Rhodes with grooming tips – how facials are good for men, while wearing a green facial mask.
Vickie and Caitlyn came out…again. Vickie kept berating Caitlyn’s promo work, then introduced Dolph Ziggler. Chavo (with short tights) also came out and the whole group came to the ring.
Dolph Ziggler and Chavo Guerrero vs. Kofi Kingston and Chris Masters – One of these things just doesn’t belong. Beatdown on Masters until a hot tag. Kofi entered with a high springboard clothesline. Double clothesline spot. Dolph made a tag but the ref didn’t see it and put Chavo out – weird to do to the heels of course. Kofi hit Trouble in Paradise on Dolph for the three count.
A lot of ring and stage setup, including Kane’s pyro corners. Meantime Big Show on the tron, interviewing himself, with him playing Josh Matthews. Kelly told Show Josh was coming do Show hid the mic under his arm. Josh got his mikc back, a bit soiled.

KAVAL WINS NXT 2 AND BECOME WWE ROSTER
Kaval, mentored by Michelle McCool and Layla, was announced as the winner of WWE’s NXT season 2 tonight on SyFy.
Alex Riley, mentored by The Miz, was the first one to be eliminated tonight and it came down to Michael McGillicutty, mentored by Kofi Kingston, and Kaval.
As noted before, season 3 of NXT will begin next Tuesday night and will feature all Diva Rookies.
Kaval has earned a shot at a WWE championship on a future pay-per-view event and a roster spot on either RAW or SmackDown.
As Kaval was giving his speech tonight, the previous Rookies who were eliminated before tonight rushed the ring and attacked Kaval. The Pros from this season came down and brawled with them. It turned into a NXT 2 Rookies vs. NXT 2 Pros with Kaval brawl. Riley and McGillicutty came back down to work over Kaval. The show ended with Riley, McGillicutty, Husky Harris, Titus O’Neil and Lucky Cannon beating Kaval down in the ring with their finishers.
