SUPERSTAR OF THE WEEK BY PRATEIK MALAGI - CHRIS "Y2J" JERICHO

Well its Wednesday and this week its special because i m going to discuss about a superstar who has definitely changed the landscape of this industry, He stands second in my the best list (off course the first is Triple H)... this man is a true genius in whatever he does and is internationally acclaimed for that.... well i m talking about "The Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla" - Y2J Chris Jericho.

You give him Mic he rocks, make him face he will make you smile, be villain he will make you boo out of ur hearts. thats what is the ability of Jericho... now lets see some of his career highlights..........

He started wrestling at 19 in Hart Brothers School of Wrestling along with the likes of Lance Storm, Edge, Christian, Rhino.

He then moved to CMLL to learn Lucha Libre style in 1992.

He wrestled his first match in ECW after being recommended by Benoit and Perry Saturn to Paul Heyman (who else is a Paul Heyman guy!!).

He then moved to WCW and wrestled with the likes of Rey Mysterio, Disco Inferno.

In WCW he was involved in a lengthy and one of the best feuds with Dean Malenko who was known as a man of 1000 holds.

He then moved to WTC and left the company briefly after a squash match loss against Goldberg.

After spending 3 years in WCW, Japanese promotions he finally signed to WWF(E).

He debuted in what is known to be the most historic entrances in WWE, when he interrupted The Rock's promo on Aug 9, 1999 edition claiming himself to be "The Countdown to the new Millennium".

He lost his first title shot against Chyna but later a controversial win made both of them the co - owners of the Intercontinental title.

He had an intense feud with Triple H which lasted in Jericho losing a LMS match to him.

He and Benoit then defeated Triple H and SCSA to win their first WWF(E) Tag team titles.

He then had a intense feud with his co worker in the Invasion angle, The Rock which lasted for about a year.

During this time at Vengeance, he defeated The Rock for WCW title and SCSA for WWF title in one night to become the first ever Undisputed WWF Champ.

He later lost the title to the 2002 RR winner Triple H when he defeated Jericho at WM X - 8.

He continued his feud with Triple H and ended the feud when he lost to Triple H in HIAC match at Judgement Day.

His next feud with HBK ended at WM XIX following a loss to HBK.

He had notable feuds with Goldberg (reminiscent of WCW) and Christian (for Lita) which turned him fan favorite.

He then feuded with Evolution stable and later with John Cena which ultimately led Jericho to leave WWE following his loss to Cena in a You're fired match.

He returned to WWE in 2007 interrupting Randy Orton's promo in what is dubbed as The Second Coming.

He then renewed his feud with HBK by attacking him in his "Highlight Reel" segment.

During his feud with HBK he won the WHC title in a Championship scramble match and later lost it to returning John Cena at 2008 SS.

He was fired by Stephanie Mcmahon as a result of verbal abuse to her but was later re hired by VKM following an apology.

He then had a lengthy feud with Rey Mysterio Jr. which culminated in Jericho defeating Rey by a seated senton and Codebreaker to win his 9th IC title.

Later at Extreme Rules he and Edge won the Unified tag titles but, Edge was replaced by Big Show following a torn Achilles tendon.

His long reign of Unified titles came to an end when he and Big Show lost the titles to DX (Triple H and Micheals) in a TLC match at TLC PPV.

He won the EC match and WHC title by defeating The Undertaker following an interference by HBK.

He then feuded with the 2010 RR winner Edge whom he defeated at WM 25.

He eventually lost the WHC title to Jack Swagger who cashed in his MITB contract on Jericho following a spear by Edge.

He then had minor feuds with Cena and the Nexus before he left WWE following the expiry of his contract.

It is reported that Chris Jericho is scheduled to feature at the 2012 RR.

Apart from his expectional in ring work and mic abilities he was also a gentleman who helped many superstars in their career. he is also the lead vocalist of the heavy rock metal band "Fozzy". here are the list of his accomplishments.......

He has won 30 titles in total.

He is a six time WHC champ and a record nine time IC champ.

He is the first ever WWF Undisputed Champ.

He is also a fourth Grandslam and Ninth Triple Crown Champ.

after looking in all such accomplishments there my be hardly anyone who can dispute over Jericho's ability. He truly is one of the very best wrestling world has ever to offer, i would just say "All Hail The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla"

SUPERSTAR OF THE WEEK BY PRATEIK MALAGI - EDGE

Well well guys its rainy Wednesday and I am back with my Superstar of the week..... In WWE if ever there is a list of people who threw their bodies to wreckage and entertained fans, i think this person will be the first of them.... our superstar of the week is none other than the Rated - R superstar EDGE.......
He went from being a novice in Canada to being a multi time tag champ. he and Christian filled arenas with their innovative style used in TLC and went on to become the most decorated Tag Team in pro wrestling. Even as a singles wrestler he proved to be Championship material with winning numerous championships, aa record of 31 of them which truly is his greatness... here are some of his career highlights

He wrestled in independent circuits with a tag team known as Sex and Violence and later Thug Life.
He debuted in WWE in 1998 and was quickly placed in a feud with the Gangrel.
He, Gangrel and Christian Cage later formed a stable known as the Brood.
He won his first singles title, Intercontinental Title by defeating Jeff Jarett.
during this tym he and Christian feuded with Hardy Boyz and Dudley Boyz as they had many of the series of TLC matches.
They turned their persona into tweeners and used to give a very famous "Five Second Pose" before their matches.
He went on to win the KOTR 2001 and this made him Christian turn on Edge and made Edge into a singles competitor.
He was later drafted to Smackdown where he had an infamous feud with Kurt Angle that culminated into a Hair vs Hair match that Edge won.
He formed a tag team wid Rey Mysterio which had a classic match with Kurt and (CB- u knw whom i meant) which was voted the match of the year.

He suffered a legitimate neck injury which kept him out of action for almost a year.
He returned back to feud with HBK as he was upset that he didn't get a shot @ Triple H's WHC title.
he participated in his first EC match in 2004 but, was the first to be eliminated after HBK performed a super kick.
He won the inaugural MITB match @ WM21 which guaranteed him a title shot at anyplace anywhere of his choice.
He was then involved in a feud with Kane over his wife Lita whom Edge was romantically linked to (it was a real life incident too).
He cashed his MITB contract after the New Years Revolution EC match against the WWE Champ John Cena to win his first WWE title.
He then had major feuds with Mick Foley (WM), Cena and Triple H (Backlash) which gave a major lift to Edge's career.
He then joined forces with Randy Orton to feud with newly formed two man DX and beat them for Tag team titles.
He defeated Mr. Kennedy to win his second MITB and cashed it aginst The Undertaker to win his first WHC.
He suffered a torn pectoral muscle and hence vacated the title.
He made his return @ Survivor Series by interfering in a HIAC b/w Taker and Batista and later joined forces with Vickie Guerrero to form La Familia.
He then had notable feud with Triple H which led him to turn on La Familia and as a result was scheduled in HIAC with Undertaker @ SS which he lost.
After SS he took time off but made return @ Survivor Series as a replacement to Jeff Hardy and went on to defeat Triple H for his WWE title in a Triple Threat match that also involved Kozlov.
He suffered a torn Achilles Tendon which kept him out of action for an year.
He made a grand entry to RR 2009 and went on to win it and became only second person to win both KOTR and RR.

He was also involved in major storylines with Chris Jericho on SD and Orton on Raw.
He wrestled his last last match against ADR @ WM 26.
The next week on SD Edge announced his retirement cos of cervical spinal stenosis, which may further turn to paralysis.
He helped Christian win his first World title in a ladder match against ADR post retirement.

Edge was one of the most decorated performers in WWE and his accomplishments below are the ones to speak:

He is a 11 time World Champ ( 7 WHC & 4 WWE titles).
He is also 5 time IC and 1 US title.
He has won a record 14 tag titles (12 World tag titles & 2 WWE tag titles).
He is one of the two wrestlers to have held every single male title in WWE (the other being Kurt Angle).
He is the only second person to have won KOTR and RR (the other being Triple H).
He is the first and only person to have won KOTR, RR and MITB.
He is the first person to hold 2 MITB contracts (the other being CM Punk till date).
He is the only second person to have successfully defended WHC inside EC (the first being Triple H).
He is also sadly the first MITB winner to lose his title to another MITB holder.

By looking into all of hs achievements, its sad that he had to retire because of injuries. I hope his afterlife will be better... miss you EDGE...... we love you

On Raw Monday, The Rock and John Cena continued their public war of words. Since the movie actor  known as Dwayne Johnson  announced his return to wrestling a few weeks ago, the two have traded barbs on Raw, on Facebook and on Twitter.


In a video that aired Monday before fans gathered in Buffalo, N.Y., The Rock appeared wearing Cena's hat and chain and said, "I'm about to spit something stupid."


After ripping the hat and chain off, he said, "It all started with you, John Cena, publicly running your mouth about me, calling me a liar when I say I love the WWE."


The week before, Cena had taunted The Rock with, among other things, a rap.


"I guess I was really excited to see him last Monday," said Cena of The Rock's return. "But...I think he was pretty nuch making fun of me. I should probably say something about that, right?"


His "something," in the the form of a rap: "Finally The Rock came back and everyone was was getting with it 'till he said I was talking trash but he would never be specific. It's because I wasn't talking trash, Rock, I was talking truth. You left us hanging high and dry to play a fairy with a tooth?"


He was referring to 2010"s "The Tooth Fairy," one of the dozens of movies Johnson has made in his film career.


Fans have thrown support behind both stars, though some have criticized The Rock for not appearing in person in Buffalo. The taunts sets the stage for an in-person face-off between John Cena and The Rock on April 3 at Wrestlemania 27.

JIM ROSS ON ROCK AND HIS FUTURE

Jim Ross commented more on The Rock’s future with WWE on his website:


“I don’t’ know the Rock’s exact role at WM27 other than I am confident it will be impactful even without him wrestling a match. He says that he is not going to wrestle again and I take Rock at his word. I feel he’s back for a one night only appearance for now but I can’t predict the future. Rock will never ‘emotionally’ leave WWE but his movie schedule, etc will likely never allow him to return full time. WM28 is too far off for me to even remotely comment or guess on what might happen. Now…head to the store and order some of the best tasting products known to man.


I think that Rock has wrestled his last match already. I do think that he will confront Cena at WM27 in some shape, form or fashion.”

So on the 3rd promo we can see someone dressed exactly like The Undertaker and standing inside the house and also we see someone walking towards the house wearing the same wrench coat. So I can assume that Sting and The Undertaker is coming back together.
As per my opinion the possible spoiler:
Undertaker was buried alive by Kane and Nexus. With the help of Sting, Undertaker came back from the grave.

Many websites publishing it is Awesome Kong, and even some saying it is Shawn Michaels and Triple H. LOL.

2.21.2011 IS IT STING? OR IT IS THE UNDERTAKER

It has been a thrilling promo and a mysterious chapter for all wrestling fans.
So me Anubhav Lahiri former Moderator of our beloved WWE-Universe community have pulled my sleeves up for this!
Am going to discuss about Is it Sting? or Is it The Deadman?
So after watch two promos in two weeks the adrenaline level has indeed increased.
Is it Sting??  Or Is it The Undertaker
As per my opinion most probably it is Sting. Now after reading 1st question popping up in your head is why am saying its Sting?
Well watching the promo, the style and going through some spoiler and having the experience on WWE's predictable "cunningness" I assume it is sting. If you can see in that promo, the person is wearing pointed shoe which The Undertaker never does.

Look at the picture and look at Undertaker's shoes, rounded not pointed.
As we saw in past, Undertaker's returning promos have been same which features a Grave, hand raising from the grave and child, death valley and the chair. But this promo is showing us a house, I don't believe Undertaker owns a house LOL. Sting always portrayed similar to Deadman but he lacks grave and spooky stuffs. And people over the internet assuming that its Undertaker returning with new gimmick, well i have an one liner statement to this assumption, Undertaker is not 100% fit in recent times so how come he return with a new gimmick. In the 2nd promo we have heard a song "Ain't no grave can hold my body down" which have distracted people from sting towards the Deadman as it was used last year in Wrestlemania for Shawn Michaels and Undertaker match, but does this make any sense? Ashley Massaro's theme was also used as one of the themes in Wrestlemania LOL. In the recent weeks Sting is removed from TNA website. So? Yes it is also one of the reasons I believe that Sting is coming to Raw. And most importantly why will Undertaker return to Raw? He is a roster of Smackdown, was dumped by Kane and The Nexus. Thats why I am saying it is Sting not The Undertaker, We will find out next week! Hold your nerves! Adios!
