HUSKY HARRIS DEBUTS WITH MASK AND NEW FINISHER

Husky Harris, who was demoted last month to Florida Championship Wrestling (though officially still listed as a RAW Superstar), recently debuted a masked character in the developmental promotion.


Paying homage to his grandfather, WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan, Harris appeared at the March 9 and 16 FCW live events as Axl Mulligan. His appearance is similar to the Hannibal Lecter character from The Silence of the Lambs. Harris wears jeans and a black Misfits T-shirt to go along with the mask.


Harris is also using the Stone Cold Stunner as his finishing maneuver. He beat Ricardo Rodriguez with the move last Wednesday, and then struck Brodus Clay during a post-match brawl.


It is unclear as to whether the character will continue as Harris appeared as himself at last Thursday’s FCW live event, one day removed from appearing as the masked persona.

SEAN WALTMAN ATTENDING FCW SHOWS TALKS ABOUT BO ROTUNDA

Sean “X-Pac” Waltman was in attendance for the FCW tapings this past Thursday. He wrote the following on Twitter: “It was great to see William Regal and Fit Finlay last night at FCW. Bo Rotundo is going to be money in the near future. He’s 20 yrs old.”

NEWS ON HUSKY HARRIS AND MICHAEL TARVER

Husky Harris returned to action at WWE’s FCW show this past Thursday night, defeating Monty Lynch. Husky received a babyface reaction from the crowd. During the match, Michael Tarver came and sat at ringside to watch. Tarver is now doing angle in FCW where he has been watching talents perform.

ONE OF THE NEW NEXUS MEMBER IS GONE

For what it’s worth, The New York Daily News’ wrestling column today reported that Sting has signed a one-year contract with WWE. There has been no confirmation on this news from WWE or any other sources so take it for what it’s worth for now.

POSSIBLE TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

Husky Harris & Michael McGillicutty vs. Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov for the WWE Tag Team Titles to be added to either the Royal Rumble pay-per-view or next week’s RAW. The title match is more likely for RAW since the four Superstars are already in the 40 man Rumble match.
