ROCK ON TOMORROWS RAW?

Earlier today, Cena teased Johnson appearing on tomorrow's Raw.

He wrote on Twitter, "CeNation. Just got back from South America. Holy casserole it was magical. I heard a rumor that the Rock's camp was pretty peeved at what I said on Mon. I think he may have something planned for tomorrow. I cannot wait. Ps..miz yer still a dauwsh. :)"

ROCK RESPONSES TO CENA

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson issued a rebuttal to John Cena's disparaging remarks about him last Monday on Raw as he posted a photo of his boot stomped down on a John Cena hat, pendant and wristband.

NEW STORYLINE WITH VICKIE GUERRERO

The latest storyline firing on SmackDown is Vickie Guerrero, after she teamed with Drew McIntyre on last night’s show to lose to Edge and Kelly Kelly. Vickie’s career was on the line, as announced by Teddy Long.

HBK TALKS ABOUT BEING AT WRESTLEMANIA,WHO WILL INDUCT HIM

Shawn Michaels was interviewed by WDFN.com this week and talked about WrestleMania 27, the WWE Hall of Fame and more. Shawn said that as of now, he’s not aware of plans for him to be involved in the Triple H vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania and feels the match doesn’t need him. Shawn said:

“I’ve heard all the rumors. As of right now, I’m doing one thing and one thing only at WrestleMania, and that’s the Hall of Fame.

I don’t think The Undertaker and Triple H need Shawn Michaels to deliver a spectacular match or make this incredibly interesting. Those two can do that on their own. Right now, as far as I’m concerned, I’m going to be there watching it like everyone else.”

Shawn said he hasn’t decided yet who will induct him into the Hall of Fame this year but mentioned names like Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman and others. Shawn said it’s a decision he will have to make pretty quick.

TRIPLE H VS THE UNDERTAKER AT WRESTLEMANIA 27

WWE’s website is now listing Triple H vs. The Undertaker as a match for WrestleMania 27. While the match preview does talk about Taker’s streak, nowhere is it mentioned about Triple H retiring. Of course stipulations are expected to be added between now and WrestleMania.

CHRIS JERICHO TALKS ABOUT TRIPLE H, PG-13 AND RETURNING TO WWE

Chris Jericho recently spoke with Slam Wrestling and here are some of the highlights:

Triple H taking over WWE:
“He’s going to take over the company. This isn’t the year 2000 anymore where he was trying to bury me. Nobody wants to be Bruce Hart, where he takes over Stampede Wrestling and goes out of business two years later after his father had it for 40 years.”

Returning to WWE:
“It could be two days down the road. I’m still a huge fan of the business. When it’s time to go back, I’ll go back.”

Favoring a PG-13 product:
“I think I did better in the PG-13 environment. It’s easier to get pops when you say, ‘ass.’ they’re going ‘tee-hee-hee, he said a swear word.’ I wasn’t really doing any swearing. I just go with the flow. If I have to do an X-rated environment, I’ll do that. And if it’s PG, I’ll do that.”

CANDICE MICHELLE SUFFERS MISCARRIAGE

Former WWE Diva Candice Michelle, who announced on Valentine’s Day that she was expecting her second child, disclosed Tuesday night on her Facebook account that she suffered a miscarriage Sunday.

Here is her post:

Hello CandiAddicts

I always love posting positive things as that’s the focus in my life. However life brings about unexpected things and I feel being a public figure it’s my duty to share. On Sunday I suffered a miscarriage! I have both physically and mentally been through a lot of trauma! I have seen the Doc and there must have been a genetic defect and this angel wouldn’t have been able to survive in the outside world! It’s so difficult to say goodbye yet I know through my FAITH that there is a reason for everything! “With Faith there is no Fear!”

If anyone out there has ever gone through this you know the difficulty in this! I humbly ask for your respect in letting me keep this matter private beyond this mention! I love you guys and appreciate you respecting my family’s privacy in this matter!

“It’s not about how many times you get knocked off the horse but how GRACEFULLY you get back up!”

What a beautiful saying! The best thing for me right now is all the prayers! I have received many txts, tweets, and messages of support and I really appreciate them! They have truly uplifted me in this time of need!

Remember to be grateful for what you have!

I have decided to keep my appearance this weekend in Miami and have gotten clearance from the doc to fly! I would really enjoy seeing you CandiAddicts out there at Wizard World! I’ll be walking the red carpet sat morn and there sat and sun!

God bless you all and thank you for your love and support!

Candice Michelle

FORMER WWE DIVA PREGNANT

Former WWE Diva Jillian Hall announced this evening on Twitter that she's pregnant.

"it's time to announce what I have been asked repeatedly lately... Yes, I am prenant!! @endofthesunMike and I are very happy!!!" she wrote. "that would be pregnant not prenant! lol."

JIM ROSS ON SIN CARA, COLE REAL LIFE JERK, STING

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with another blog, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com Here are some highlights of what JR wrote about:

Sin Cara Signing With WWE: "The wrestler formerly known as Mistico but now known as Sin Cara was officially welcomed into the WWE family on Thursday in Mexico City with every major Mexico City TV network and print media represented"

"I applaud the way that WWE introduced Sin Cara to the WWE Universe as he will arrive in WWE after a few weeks of advanced TV promotion already meaning 'something' and feeling much more significant than other newcomers. For those that aren't familiar with Sin Cara, formerly known as Mistico, I suggest that you go on You Tube and check out some of his bouts. Very innovative offensive performer along the lines of the great Rey Mysterio"

"Sin Cara has a magnificent opportunity to become a global star in WWE. The final verdict, as always, will be rendered by the paying customers based on how well the gifted athlete delivers inside the squared circle. It will be interesting to see what brand, Raw or Smackdown, gets the opportunity to showcase Sin Cara."

Michael Cole a Jerk In Real Life: "Emailer...Is Michael Cole's TV persona more like his real life persona than when he played the straight man/corporate announcer? I'd probably say, yes. Cole's is not the laid back, easy going guy in real life that he portrayed early in his announcing career. He has taken to being a 'jerk' on TV like our sauce to ribs. "

Sting Back In TNA: "That Sting vs. Undertaker WM27 match that many just knew was going to happen at WM27 looks a little 'iffy.' Seriously, I said many times that I did not think that Sting would likely venture into WWE at this point in his career. All people have 'comfort zones,' including yours truly, that we are reluctant to leave. In hindsight, at least in my view, more often than not and especially for veterans the 'comfort zone' thing isn't a negative."

DUSTY RHODES RETURNS, POSSIBLE WRESTLEMANIA MATCH

No new matches for WrestleMania 27 and the SmackDown brand were announced on last night’s show but they did further the Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio storyline. Dusty Rhodes returned to WWE TV and helped his son attack Mysterio.

KELLY KELLY TALKS ABOUT BEING ALL NATURAL, WWE IS NOT FAKE?

Cleveland.com features a new tongue-in-cheek interview with WWE Diva Kelly Kelly to promote the upcoming show there. The interviewer noted that she learned to refer to WWE as “sports entertainment” and not “wrestling”, and that their performers are “Divas” and “Superstars”, not wrestlers. Here are the highlights:

WWE officials keeping up on her appearance:
“Every week one of my bosses comes up to me and goes, “Lemme see your nails.” He gets so mad if they’re not done! Every week I have to be on it. If I break one, I have to get it fixed. But I keep ‘em short and I keep ‘em real natural, so usually they don’t break. It’s usually me biting ‘em off.”

People saying WWE is fake:
“I just wanna punch people in the face when they say something like that. . . . Luckily, I haven’t been severely injured, but I’ve . . . broken ribs and stuff. It’s not as glamorous as it looks. Still, I love comin’ to work every week.”

Being all natural:
“Oh, it is. I’m not ashamed of it. It’s all real. I love getting that question because I’m like, “Yes they are and I’m so proud.”"

The interviewer then asked Kelly Kelly if other Divas worry about their breast implants exploding in the ring. Kelly didn’t get to answer as the WWE handler who was overseeing the interview ended it abruptly.

REY MYSTERIO TALKS ABOUT SIN CARA

Fanhouse.com spoke with WWE star Rey Mysterio, who talked about fellow Mexican wrestling star Sin Cara (formerly Mistico) signing with WWE. Here's what Mysterio said about it:

"I think the opportunity now shown is that the doors are open for anybody that has the quality to be part of WWE," Mysterio said. "You have the talent, you have the desire to be a superstar, come and the doors will be open and if you can make it, you'll be one of the top dogs. Alberto (Del Rio) is a big proof.

"When I came into the United States, I pretty much followed the Guerreros and Jerichos, a path as they just left Mexico and went on to ECW, WCW and WWE. So it was kind of a little train that we were taking around. It kind of feels good in a way that those doors have been opened for other Mexican wrestlers. Like you said, now with Mistico coming in, I want to say that I think those doors were eventually opened by the talent that myself, Eddie and a lot of wrestlers that started their careers in Mexico have opened up for other guys."

OFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE FOR SIN CARA

WWE has setup a Facebook page for him at facebook.com/WWESinCara and a Twitter account is being setup. WWE will begin airing clips from the press conference on this week’s TV and Monday’s RAW. Mistico’s signing with WWE is being covered my all the media in Mexico as it’s considered a big deal.

NEWS ON REY MYSTERIO,RANDY ORTON AND MANY MORE DVD

As noted before, WWE has removed the “RAW: Best of Seasons 3 & 4″ DVD from their list of planned releases, and pushed back the Triple H DVD to 2012.

According to WWEDVDNews, WWE has added a new DVD set on Rey Mysterio that will be released in July.

WWE is also working on “Greatest Stars of the New Millennium” – a three-disc set scheduled for a July release also. The DVD will follow the “Greatest Stars of the 80′s” and the “Greatest Stars of the 90′s” sets.

Finally, WWE may have changed the format of Randy Orton’s DVD set for a September release. The DVD is no longer listed as “The Randy Orton Experience.”

JIM ROSS COMMENTS ON SIN CARA

Jim Ross noted on Twitter this morning that Sin Cara is already in Los Angeles working on his WWE debut. Ross said that WWE has high hopes for the former Mistico including a major “rollout” on TV.

Ross wrote:

“WWE has high hopes 4 Sin Cara. He has many new masks. Major TV ‘rollout.’ He’s 27 & has op 2 b a main eventer. A flyer, offensive innovator. Ppl need to see how Sin Cara performs b4 condeming wwe 4 “pulling him down.” That’s just dumb. See how things playout then offer opinion.”

JR speculates that Cara will be debuting on the RAW brand.

MEANING OF SIN CARA, SIN CARA REVEALS NEW MASK

When Sin Cara (Mistico) was introduced at WWE’s press conference in Mexico yesterday, he came out in a Mistico style mask before taking it off to reveal his new WWE mask. Sin Cara reportedly means “Faceless.”

Mistico with new mask and name "Sin Cara"

Sin spoke at the press conference and said he doesn’t know which brand he will end up on but said he is ready when called and proud to be working for the greatest promotion in the world. Lucha Libre journalist Kris Zellner expects Cara to end up on the SmackDown brand with Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio.

JERRY LAWLER TALKS ABOUT MIZ,WRESTLEMANIA AND JR

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler was interviewed recently by Fighting Spirit Magazine. Here are some quotes, courtesy of The Sun:

Jim Ross’ future with WWE:
“JR and I had some tremendous chemistry, but I don’t think you’ve seen the last of that. I think JR will be back on the air in some capacity. He’s too good not to utilise. A lot of people don’t realise what the situation is with him. He had a couple — I guess three now — real serious bouts of Bell’s Palsy, which is very similar in effects to a stroke.

They don’t really know, but they think the attacks are brought on by stress. Nobody takes their job more seriously than good old JR. The reason Vince has kept him off TV all this time is because he’s concerned with his health. He’s worried that if he puts him back out there regularly, he’ll have another Bell’s Palsy attack.”

His feud with The Miz:
“I thought the matches, especially the TLC match with The Miz, were good. I know that after the match was over, when I came back to the Gorilla Position, everybody standing there gave me a standing ovation. Vince came over and hugged me and said: ‘Man-oh-man, what a great match!’”

Wrestling at WrestleMania:
“I’ve been with WWE for 17 years and that’s something I’ve never achieved. I remember in 2007, when Vince came to me and said they were going to induct me into the Hall of Fame, I said that I didn’t want to. He said: ‘What do you mean, you don’t want to?’ I replied: ‘Most people feel like your career is over when you go into the Hall of Fame, like in baseball or football or something. Also, I’ve never done that much here, Vince. I’ve never won a title, I’ve never even wrestled on a WrestleMania.’ He said: ‘What? You’ve never wrestled on a Wrestlemania in all the years you’ve been here? That’s a tragedy. We’ve got to fix that next year.’

That was his mindset then, but things get put on the backburner. First 2008 came and I didn’t get a match, then 2009 came and I didn’t get a match, then 2010. But I must say that there’s never really been a point in time in those years when I’ve been involved as much as I have been as of late. So if there ever was a time for it to happen, I think this would be the most advantageous.

And would I love to have a WrestleMania match? Oh boy, yes. Other than getting inducted into the Hall of Fame, that would maybe be the highlight of my career to finally get to perform there.”

LOSING STREAK CONTINUES FOR SHEAMUS

Going into his apparent WrestleMania feud with United States Champion Daniel Bryan, Sheamus currently is on a 6-loss losing streak for WWE TV and pay-per-view matches. The former WWE Champion has a TV/pay-per-view win-loss record of 1-8 for 2011 so far. As noted before, RAW producer Kevin Dunn reportedly isn’t a fan of Sheamus.

CHAVO GUERRERO SR. COMMENTS ON EDDIE'S DAUGHTER

Chavo “Classic” Guerrero recently appeared on ThaOShow.com and was asked about his brother Eddie Guerrero’s daughter, Shaul Guerrero, debuting with WWE’s Florida Championship Wrestling. Chavo said he wished he could have trained Shaul so she would be safe and best served.

He said he believes that if Eddie were still alive, Shaul would not be involved in the wrestling business. Chavo Sr. also said that Vickie Guerrero has really separated herself from the Guerrero family since Eddie passed away.

MORE ON WRESTLEMANIA AXXESS

The WrestleMania Axxess signings on Saturday night during the WWE Hall of Fame are usually dreaded by some of the WWE talents as they have to miss the start, or sometimes all of the ceremony. The wrestlers signing during the Hall Of Fame this year are David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd, The Usos, Primo, Chris Masters, Kaitlyn, Rosa Mendes, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Ezekiel Jackson and Wade Barrett.

CHRIS JERICHO'S BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Chris Jericho announced today in Los Angeles that he will be the host of the Revolver Golden God Awards, airing on VH1 Classics on April 20th. Jericho’s band Fozzy will be performing that night and WWE Champion The Miz has been nominated for the “Most Metal Athlete” award.

WWE OFFICIALLY SIGNS MISTICO AKA SIN CARA

STAMFORD, Conn. – WWE today unveiled their latest Superstar signing, Sin Cara, formerly known worldwide as Mistico. The announcement took place today during a press conference in his hometown Mexico City, where passionate fans of all ages turned out to see their favorite performer become the newest addition to the WWE roster.

Having already forged a strong international fan following, Sin Cara, known for his high flying style and awe inspiring acrobatics, is expected to reach new heights of global success with WWE.

“Sin Cara is a tremendous performer who brings the crowd to its feet every time he steps into the ring,” said Stephanie McMahon, Executive Vice President, WWE. “With us, his stardom will only get bigger and brighter.”

Upon his signing, Sin Cara said, “WWE is the pinnacle of sports-entertainment. It is an honor and a thrill for me to be able to perform with the world’s best. Being a WWE Superstar will present new challenges, new mountains to climb and new competition. It is a new beginning and a new life. With that in mind, I have chosen the new name of Sin Cara in hopes to represent all the legendary Mexican masked performers and to carry the banner of their legacy to the entire world.”

WHY ALBERTO GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA WITHOUT A TITLE

In a sign of how much WWE thinks of the Intercontinental Title, the fact that Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio was a non-title match at Elimination Chamber was to be ignored during commentary and promotion of the match.

WWE had talked at one point of making it a title match and having Intercontinental Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. World Heavyweight Champion Edge at WrestleMania 27 but decided against it, with the feeling that it would be better for Del Rio to go into WrestleMania without a title.

TRIPLE H GETS NEW ROLE IN WWE

Triple H is having more control over WWE’s recruiting these days and it will be interesting to see what kind of guys he’s looking for over the next year or so. It’s said that Triple H has a mindset of making talents into something before putting them on the main roster and TV, through introductory pieces. WWE is now working with a former wrestler in the UK, who is scouting talents for them, looking for guys with impressive builds.

CENA TEAMS WITH ENEMIES??

Out of the four times that John Cena has held the WWE Tag Team Titles, it has been with someone he was feuding with at that time. Cena won the belts with Shawn Michaels in 2007, Batista in 2008, David Otunga in 2010 and The Miz this past Monday night. Each time Cena won the tag titles with an opponent, the reigns got shorter - two months, one week, one day and 12 minutes.

RAW RATINGS FOR 2-21-11

As noted before, Monday's RAW scored a high 3.9 cable rating with 5,860,000 viewers. This week's show did hours of 3.85 (5.89 million viewers) and 3.85 (5.82 million viewers). This was the highest rated RAW since the September 7th, 2009 episode and the most first-hour viewers since the June 22nd, 2009 commercial-free RAW. Overall, this week's show has the most average viewers since the post-SummerSlam RAW on August 24th, 2009.

This week's show was the #1 ranked show of all cable TV for the night in total viewers and in male demographics. WWE's usual competition for the male demographics, History Channel's Pawn Stars and American Pickers, did not air this week.

THE ROCK COMMENTS ON UNDERTAKER VS TRIPLE H

The Rock commented on The Undertaker and Triple H's return to RAW on Monday with the following on Twitter: "loved seeing both Undertaker and Triple H return..what incredible crowd reactions for both..very happy for them - epic match!"

SPECULATION ON WHO WILL BE ANNOUNCING WRESTLEMANIA

There is some speculation as to who will be announcing WrestleMania 27 as the feeling is it doesn’t make much sense to have Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole call most of it and then work a match against each other. Jim Ross is always being speculated on for a return but at last year’s WrestleMania, early plans were for him to announce but he didn’t. Shawn Michaels and Undertaker even requested that Ross work the pay-per-view but it wasn’t the direction that Vince McMahon wanted.

VINCE MCMAHON HIGH ON COLE VS LAWLER

It’s said that Vince McMahon is loving the current Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler storyline as he gets to live vicariously through Cole. Most of Cole’s key lines on TV are fed to him by Vince. The current angle with Cole and Lawler is being patterned after Lawler’s most famous angle ever, the one in the early 80′s with comedian Andy Kaufman.

WWE TO INTRODUCE MISTICO?

Jim Ross and WWE announcer Carlos Cabrera will be hosting a press conference this afternoon in Mexico City at 3:30pm from the Vive Cuervo Salón. The event is free and open to the public.

There are rumors that WWE will be announcing a future TV taping in Mexico or introduce Mistico as the newest member of their roster. It’s interesting that WWE’s press conference will take place just two hours after EMLL’s press conference where they will discuss Mistico leaving their promotion for WWE.

BETH TEASES BIG PLANS

Beth Phoenix continues to tease news on her Twitter. She wrote the following earlier this week: “To those who have missed me…fear not. There are great things ahead. Patience. The Glamazon has BIG plans.”

KEVIN NASH FOR 5 YEARS, MIZ VS LAWLER ORIGINAL PLANS

The feud between Jerry Lawler and The Miz was originally planned to be just a feud for TV but when officials saw the reactions from the crowd and the ratings, they decided to run with it.

Kevin Nash signed a 5 year contract with WWE.

UPDATE ON UNDERTAKER VS TRIPLE H FEUD

Triple H and The Undertaker are the ones putting together their current program for WrestleMania 27, with minimal input from WWE creative.

Taker was originally scheduled to face Wade Barrett and Triple H was set to face Sheamus at WrestleMania but the two got together and realized that WrestleMania 27 had no special match. As WWE’s two most power political forces, they felt they could take control of their own angle without much in the way of outside influence.

Shawn Michaels is still expected to be introduced into the storyline and have a role at WrestleMania, possibly as a referee or an enforcer. The idea behind the storyline is that Triple H is going at Taker for revenge after Taker ended his best friend’s career.

* Ricardo Rodriguez – Alberto Del Rio’s ring announcer who wrestles under that gimmick and the masked gimmick of Chimaera.

* Rick Victor – Formerly known as Apocalypse in OVW where he held the OVW Championship after they were no longer affiliated with WWE. Victor has trained in the Hart Dungeon.

* Erik Rowan – Independent wrestler from Minnesota, formerly known as Thoruf Marius. His look resembles something between a viking and one of The Highlanders.

* Jarrod Locke – Formerly known as Warrior on the UK version of Gladiators. He has a bit of a Samoan look.

* Jason Mullen – 7 foot tall and over 300 lbs. from Ireland, known as The Irish Nightmare. He has been wrestling since 2004 in Ireland.

MORE ON UNDERTAKERS APPEARANCE IN SMACKDOWN

We noted before that The Undertaker appeared on the ramp and then disappeared during last night’s dark main event after the SmackDown tapings with Edge and Big Show vs. The Corre and Alberto Del Rio. Bill Wallace sent word that before he disappeared, Undertaker actually stopped Wade Barrett from leaving when he tried to leave the match and go to the back.

PAUL BEARER TALKS ABOUT RETURNING, BEING ABUCTED

Paul Bearer recently took place in an interview with RingTheBellRadio.com and here are a few of the highlights:

Going back to WWE last September: “As I always said never say never. The WWE contacted me about coming back and I told them no. Then they had some of my friends (Kane, Undertaker) call me too. After about 6 weeks of this I finally agreed to come back. I didn’t want to come back and work the long road schedule. I signed a 6 month contract, knew exactly what they were going to do with my character. It was fun to be back with the boys.”

Being abducted by Edge: “A lot of people kept saying, ‘Oh I can’t believe Edge hit you with a dodge ball in the head, I can’t believe he pour the marinara sauce all of you!’ Let me just say (not the I’m bragging) on top of my contract the WWE cut me a bonus check for all of that, I would say that bonus check for just that segment was more than anyone listening would make in a month, so I had no problem with it.”

His future involvement with WWE: “Like I said before, never say never but I’m happy now spending time with my family. I will be at Wrestlemania, not involved with the actual Wrestlemania show but I will be at the WWE Access that happens that weekend and I am looking forward to that!”

Paul also talks about his possible appearance in an upcoming WWE video game (WWE All Stars) and then takes a question from a fan. The question seemed to upset Paul and he quickly left the show. This prompted former WWF Superstar Jim Powers (who was listening to the show) to call into the show and sound off on Paul Bearer, John Cena and a number of other topics!

MORE HYPE ON ROCK AND CENA

WWE continues to feul the hype around The Rock, John Cena, The Miz and WrestleMania 27 with a new Twitter list they have set up at twitter.com/WWE/rock-miz-cena-17. The list’s description reads like this: “Follow tweets between WWE Champion The Miz, John Cena & The Rock leading up to WrestleMania XXVII!”

DOLPH ZIGGLER TWEETS AGAIN

Dolph Ziggler continues to push his current WWE storyline on Twitter. He wrote the following last night:

“Just got my first call for a possible booking, since being fired! Very exciting… My agency is William Morris, no televised bookings until after 5/12/11 Let the countdown begin! 90, 89, 88, 87, 86….”

VINCE MCMAHON COMMENTED ON WRESTLEMANIA

Vince McMahon spoke with The Miami Herald recently and described WrestleMania with the following words:

“You can liken it somewhat to the Super Bowl, I suppose, but the other aspect of it is it’s a hybrid of all forms of sport entertainment rolled into one. There’s nothing like WrestleMania. It’s like the Super Bowl combined with a Broadway play. Maybe throw in a little demolition derby along with maybe Disney On Ice. It’s a combination of so many things, and you’ve never seen anything like WrestleMania before. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime event. To be there, to see it, to feel it, to experience it, and you have to really see it to believe it.”

DVD RELEASE DELAYED

WWEDVDNews reports that the “RAW: Best of Seasons 3 & 4″ DVD set for later this year has been canceled by WWE. The reason for the set being nixed is low sales of the first “RAW: Best Of” set that came out in 2010, covering 1993-1994. WWE is still planning on releasing all of the RAW seasons in the “Best Of” format in the future but for now it’s on hold.

WWE has also postponed the Triple H DVD and Blu-ray set that was planned for late 2011. The Triple H feature is now planned for a 2012 release.

NEWS ON TOUGH ENOUGH

It’s being reported that long-time independent wrestler Matt “M-Dogg” Cross is a part of the new WWE Tough Enough cast. As noted yesterday, sources say that California wrestler “Big Nasty” Jason Watts is also on the cast and Miss USA Rima Fakih is confirmed as a contestant. The four trainers on the show will be Steve Austin, Booker T, Trish Stratus and Bill DeMott.

UNDERTAKER RETURNED TO SMACKDOWN

As noted before, WWE had been advertising The Undertaker’s return to SmackDown for last night’s tapings in Sacramento. Taker did make an appearance but it was brief and during the dark main event that saw Big Show and Edge defeat The Corre and Alberto Del Rio in a handicap match, when Show chokeslammed Wade Barrett.

Rey Mysterio was advertised to be on Show and Edge’s team but did not wrestle. Taker’s return came during the match, appearing on the ramp and then disappearing, according to a fan in attendance.

WWE NXT ROOKIE ELIMINATED

Derrick Bateman, Daniel Bryan’s Rookie, was eliminated from last night’s WWE NXT on WWE’s website.

Brodus Clay and Johnny Curtis are the remaining Rookies going into next week’s elimination.

There has still been no official announcement on NXT Season 5, but sources indicate that WWE is moving forward with the show on their website. A possible scenario for Season 5 is to pair up WWE Legends with their sons from FCW.

Teddy Long came down to celebrate with Edge and Kelly while Vickie throws a fit, even asking Booker T for help. Per the stipulation from Teddy at the show opener, it looks like Vickie has lost her job. After the match, Alberto Del Rio comes down and attacks Edge.

NEWS ON SUNNY IN HALL OF FAME

NEW FEUD FOR WRESTLEMANIA

WWE officials are building towards a feud between Sheamus and United States Champion Daniel Bryan. They are expected to have a match for the title at WrestleMania 27.

JOHN CENA VS THE ROCK AT WRESTLEMANIA 28?

For what it’s worth, most sources within WWE do not see a match between The Rock and John Cena happening anytime soon, or a match between Rock and The Miz. There’s speculation that Cena and Rock may be building towards something for WrestleMania 28 in 2012 but that’s not confirmed.

JOHN CENA TWEETS ABOUT THE ROCK AND THE MIZ

John Cena wrote the following on Twitter last night regarding The Miz and The Rock:

“CeNation. Handle bizz on sunday…check …let rock know im not a pushover…check…win tag titles…check…realize how much of a self centered egotistical rat bastard dowsh bag the miz is…..check. yer in my sights now kid. The world will soon know if u got it or u don’t. Other than that I had a blast tonight. Fresno was ON FIRE!”

CHRISTIAN COMMENTS ON ALBERTO DEL RIO, WRESTLEMANIA

Joey Styles posted a storyline interview on WWE’s website yesterday with Christian, talking about his return and Alberto Del Rio. Here’s what he said:

What were you doing in Oakland?

I was on my way to physical therapy in Florida and accidentally got on the interstate heading west. For the life of me I couldn’t find anywhere to turn around and the next thing I knew, I was in Oakland where Elimination Chamber was. What a coincidence!

How has your recovery been from the torn pectoral muscle inflicted on you by Alberto Del Rio?

I’m not going to lie, it was the hardest thing I’ve had to overcome in my entire professional career. There were days I wondered if I’d ever be able to compete again. But the reaction from my peeps, not only in Oakland but the entire WWE Universe, reminded me why I worked so hard to get back. And who knows? If I hadn’t been injured by Del Rio maybe I would have won the Royal Rumble and it would be me challenging for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania.

When will you be medically cleared to compete?

I don’t have a definite date yet, but I’m hopeful that it will be in the next few weeks. I’m not planning on missing WrestleMania.

Any words for Alberto Del Rio?

Payback’s a b**** … but you already know that, Alberto. (laughs)
