Daniel Bryan joined Michael Cole and The Miz on commentary.

Antonio Cesaro yodeled on his way to the ring in an effort to bring some culture to America.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Kane (w/ Daniel Bryan) in a non-title match.The two men tried to overpower each other to start, and Kane got the better of Cesaro until Cesaro was able to drag Kane into a turnbuckle.

Cesaro went to the drop rope and jumped for a flying chop, but Kane countered with uppercut. Kane put Cesaro in a nerve pinch as the show went to its first commercial… [C]

Back from the break, Cesaro took control after hitting a high knee on Kane. Cesaro began going through his move set while mixing in some celebratory yodeling.

Kane began making his comeback and went for his flying clothesline only to eat a European uppercut from Cesaro…

Back from another break, Cesaro yodeled as he had Kane in a rest hold. Kane battled out and attempted a chokeslam, but Cesaro countered with a gutwrench suplex. Cesaro ran the ropes and got caught in a tilt-o-whirl powerslam from Kane.

Kane went for and hit his flying clothesline. He called for a chokeslam but AJ's music hit and she skipped around the ring. Cesaro tried to capitalize on the distraction with a Neutralizer, but Kane backdropped Cesaro and hit a chokeslam for the pinfall victory.

Kane defeated Antonio Cesaro in 17:11.

Naomi and Cameron introduced Brodus Clay and Sweet T as "Tons of Funk." The four did their full entrance as the show went to commercial… [C]

Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes made their entrance and mocked Tons of Funk for their weight. Sandow introduced The Bella Twins as the women that would bring class back to the Diva's division.

The Bella Twins vs. Cameron and Naomi.Cameron started the match with one of the Bellas and controlled the action briefly, but the Bella managed to capitalize when her sister distracted Cameron.

The Bellas took control and worked a series of quick tags to wear down Cameron. Ceameron eventually got the hot tag to Naomi, who took a Bella out with a flurry of offence. Cody hopped on the apron and Naomi slapped his mustache twice. A Bella took advantage of the distraction and botched a roll-up to win the match…

The Bellas defeated Cameron and Naomi in 3:51

MATCHES TAPPED FOR WWE SUPERSTAR

Brodus Clay vs. a local wrestler and WWE Tag Team Champions Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga vs. Santino Marella & Evan Bourne was taped before tonight’s WWE RAW in San Jose, to air this Thursday on Superstars.

BRODUS CLAY TO RETURN SOON

WWE Superstar Brodus Clay is expected to return to TV soon as he recently started back up in FCW. Clay had been away filming WWE Studios’ next horror movie called No One Lives, which was filmed in New Orleans.

WWE creative has been discussing ideas for Clay’s return. Clay was acting as Alberto Del Rio’s bodyguard before he left and is still listed on the SmackDown roster.

BRODUS CLAY SUFFERS SEVERE INJURY AT EXTREME RULES

Brodus Clay suffered a severe gash on his head Sunday night at Extreme Rules after being driven into a ladder by Christian. A great deal of blood gushed from his wound and it is said that he may have suffered a concussion. Joey Styles noted on his Twitter account that the wound required 12 stitches. Christian was also banged up from the match.

CHRISTIAN AND BRODUS CLAY CONFIRMED FOR WRESTLEMANIA

 WWE has now confirmed that Brodus Clay will be in Alberto Del Rio’s corner and Christian will be in World Heavyweight Champion Edge’s corner for their big match at tomorrow’s WrestleMania 27 pay-per-view.

Tonight's WWE RAW opens up from Chicago with hometown hero CM Punk sitting Indian style in the ring with a spotlight on him. Punk doubts that the fans in WrestleMania will receive him warmly like they have in Chicago tonight. The crowd pops for Punk and he calls them his people. Punk says the members of Nexus were also his people but he watched Randy Orton take them out one by one. Punk says Orton lives in a fantasy world but he is a realist. Punk changes his tune and says whether you're in Nexus or from Chicago, he doesn't care what happens to you. The crowd boo's a little bit. Punk says his only problem is Orton. A chant for Orton breaks out now. 


Punk goes on and shows a replay of him attacking Orton last week in front of his wife. Punk says he will close this sick and twisted chapter at WrestleMania, the drops the mic. Orton's music hits and out he comes limping. Orton's right knee is heavily taped from last week's attack. Orton limps to the ring and Punk attacks him as he enters. Orton eventually fights Punk off to the apron and brings him back in with the second-rope DDT. Orton hits the mat and taunts Punk. Orton goes for a punt kick on Punk but falls down as he's running because of the bad knee. Punk slides out of the ring and the crowd starts chanting his name. 


Punk comes back into the ring and stares Orton down. Orton limps around the ring as Punk corners him. Punk takes Orton's leg out and he goes down. The crowd is still chanting for Punk as Orton rolls around in pain. Punk lifts Orton up and lays him out with the GTS. Punk's music hits and he heads to the back. 


- The announcers hype tonight's showdowns between Triple H & The Undertaker and The Miz, The Rock & John Cena. We see Christian knock on Edge's door backstage. Edge comes out and they say that Edge is allowed to put his hands on Alberto Del Rio if it's on RAW. Edge and Christiam will be teaming up next as we go to commercial. 


Edge and Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay 


Back from commercial and out first comes the World Heavyweight Champion Edge, followed by his partner Christian for their first time teaming together on RAW in years. Ricardo Rodriguez is introduced next and he begins Alberto Del Rio's ring introduction as Del Rio pulls into the arena in a new Bentley. His partner Brodus Clay is already getting pumped up at ringside. 


Brodus and Edge start the match off. Edge ducks a clothesline and goes to work on Edge. They go to the corner and Christian is tagged in. Christian comes in off the top, chops Clay and tags Edge right back in. They double team Clay, throwing each other into him in the corner with splashes. Edge and Christian dump Clay over the top and to the floor. Christian flies over the top but Clay catches him. Edge kicks Clay and Christian falls onto him as we get ready for a commercial. 


Back from the break and Del Rio has Christian down on the mat. Del Rio threw Christian's shoulder into the ring post during the break. Christian fights to his feet now but Del Rio superkicks him to the mat and gets a 2 count. Clay comes in and drops elbows on Christian for another 2 count. Clay stands on Christian's gut and puts his weight down. Clay scoops Christian up and slams him while tagging in Del Rio. Del Rio comes out of the corner with an elbow drop for another 2 count. Del Rio taunts Christian in the corner now and runs into a big boot. Christian with a tornado DDT out of the corner. 


Edge and Clay are tagged in at the same time. Edge leaps but Clay catches him. Edge slides out of it and drops Clay on his head. Edge readies for a spear but Del Rio pulls his leg out. Christian runs over and attacks Del Rio. Del Rio throws him hard into the fan barrier. Clay comes in and misses a splash on Edge. Edge spears Clay for the pin and the win. 


Winners: Edge and Christian 


- After the match, Del Rio applies the armbar finisher on Christian at ringside. Edge finally sees it and chases Del Rio off to the back. Edge comes back down the ramp to check on Christian. Del Rio runs back down and attacks Edge from behind. Del Rio applies the armbar finisher on Edge as Edge struggles and taps out. Del Rio finally breaks the hold and taunts Edge. 


- We get hype for Snooki, Trish Stratus and John Morrison vs. Layla, Michelle McCool and Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania 27. They take us to a bar in New Jersey and we see Trish having a drink with Snooki. Josh Matthews says we will have a live interview with Snooki and Trish tonight. This is what was taped a few days ago. Back to commercial. 


- Back from the break and we get another Sin Cara promo video. 


- We see members of the Illinois National Guard in the audience. 


- We see WWE Champion The Miz and Alex Riley backstage. Miz has the WWE logo in the background turned upside down. We get a ringside shot and Michael Cole has his security protecting his cubicle. The e-mail alert goes off and Jerry Lawler goes to announce the General Manager's e-mail. Cole tells him not to bother. Cole has an iPad inside his cube. It's announced that after last week's attack on Jerry Lawler, the GM needs to see if he's ready for WrestleMania so tonight, Lawler must take on Jack Swagger. Lawler isn't bothered by the news and is ready for Swagger. 


- Matthews hypes up Triple H and The Undertaker as we go to a promo video for their No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 27. 


Justin Gabriel vs. Santino Marella 


Back from the break and we see The Corre waiting in the ring. Justin Gabriel will be in action. Kane and Big Show's music hits next and out they come to the ring. Out next comes Santino Marella with Tamina and Vladimir Kozlov. Santino locks up with Gabriel to start their match and go at it. Gabriel with an early 2 count after some distraction from Heath Slater and a spin kick. Gabriel works on Santino's arm now. Santino tosses him out of it and drops Gabriel with rights and lefts. Santino with a hip toss now and a diving headbutt. Kane attacks Slater at ringside and backs The Corre off. Kozlov trips Gabriel in the ring and he goes down. Big Show also fights with The Corre. Santino calls for the Cobra and hits Gabriel with it for the pin and the win. 


Winner: Santino Marella 


- After the match, Show and Kane goof off with Kozlov and Santino in the ring as we go to a WWE All Stars promo. 


- We see Triple H walking in a hurry to the ring as we go to commercial. 


- Back from commercial and out comes The Undertaker to Johnny Cash's "Ain't No Grave." Triple H's music hits and cuts Taker's off as Triple H makes his way out to the ring to a nice reaction as well. As Triple H is posing on the apron, Taker's bells cut his music off and the lights go out. The bell tolls again and the music comes on. Triple H has entered the ring and comes face to face with Taker. 


There is a long staredown between the two. Shawn Michaels' music hits and out comes the Hall of Famer to a major reaction. Shawn struts his way down to the ring as the fans go crazy. 


Shawn makes his grand entrance and poses as Taker and Triple H look on. Shawn says he is sorry for interrupting but there was no way he was going to miss this. Shawn says at WrestleMania 27, the biggest match of Taker and Triple H's careers will take place. Shawn takes about Taker first and puts him over, then talks about the Streak. Shawn talks about Triple H next. Shawn says neither of them will be the same again after Sunday's No Holds Barred match. Shawn asks Triple H what makes him think he can do what Shawn couldn't. 


Triple H says that Shawn got soft and that's the truth. He says Shawn was more concerned with being the Showstopper. Triple H says he's not Shawn, not even close, he has to win and will win. Triple H talks to Taker about first coming into WWE and watching how great "that guy" was. Triple H says he represented everything WWE was and should be, and he patterned himself after that guy. Triple H says that guy was Undertaker. He says he learned to respect Taker more and more everyday. He says there's only one other person he respects as much as Taker and that's Shawn. Triple H says he came back for one reason - to stand here out of respect and look Taker dead in his eyes, and tell him it's time. 


Triple H says Taker will always be the Phenom but after Sunday, he won't be undefeated at WrestleMania. Triple H says he is the one, as in 18 and 1. Triple H tells Taker that he and his streak will rest in peace at WrestleMania 27. Taker grabs the mic. He says if he ever got to the point where he felt someone should put him down, he would want that person to be Triple H. Taker says that's the respect he has for Triple H but it's not that time yet. Taker says in the end, the streak will still be alive and so will he. Taker says if he doesn't want to take his word for it, ask Shawn. Taker says Shawn walks around everyday as the man who gave him the two best WrestleMania matches of his career and he came so close but didn't get it done. Taker says when he looks in Shawn's eyes now, he doesn't see the same confidence and arrogance. He sees a man that he humbled. Shawn doesn't like the sound of this. Taker says he sees a man who will soon go into the Hall of Fame, full of regret. A man who's career he ended. 




Taker shoves the mic back at Shawn. Shawn goes for Sweet Chin Music but Taker catches his leg and pulls him in. Triple H steps in and breaks it up, coming face to face with Taker. Triple H tells Shawn to tell Taker why he will end the streak on Sunday. Shawn isn't saying anything, he's just staring down at the mat before exiting the ring, leaving Triple H hanging. Shawn just shakes his head and looks at Triple H before walking off. Triple H turns around and Taker laughs at him before exiting the ring. Ain't No Grave plays as Taker exits the ring. He stops and stares up at Triple H one last time before walking off. Taker stops at the top of the ramp and looks back down at the ring before heading to the back and we go to commercial. 

CHRISTIAN TO TURN HEEL AT WRESTLEMANIA??

Christian may be put in Edge’s corner at WrestleMania to offset Brodus Clay and Ricardo Rodriguez, or he may be added to the match to make it a three-way. A heel turn by Christian is rumored as the plan has been for Alberto Del Rio to leave WrestleMania as World Heavyweight Champion all along.

Dark Match:

* Trent Baretta defeated Curt Hawkins

SmackDown, Airing March 25th:

* Booker T comes out to the announcer’s table and gets a big pop while Michael Cole gets major heat.

* SmackDown begins with Teddy Long backstage telling Edge that if he or Alberto Del Rio fight before WrestleMania 27 then they will both be banned from the show. Christian tells Edge to stay away from the match tonight.

* Rey Mysterio defeats CM Punk by DQ in a WrestleMania Rewind match. Cody Rhodes came out and attacked Rey with a knee brace on.

* Edge tells Christian backstage that he will still be in his corner tonight.

* Edge defeats Drew McIntyre and spears him after the match.

* Layla and Michelle McCool beat Kelly Kelly and Rosa Mendes in a quick match. Layla had her hair done like Snooki and they were mocking her. Layla cut a promo on their WrestleMania opponents after the match.

* Wade Barrett beat Kofi Kingston to become the new IC Champion when The Corre interfered and caused Kofi to be distracted. After the match, Justin Gabriel hit Kofi with a 450 Splash.

* Teddy Long tells Alberto Del Rio backstage the same thing he told Edge earlier. It will be the person who initiates the physical contact that will be removed from the WrestleMania title match.

* The Undertaker came out and talked about his WrestleMania match with Triple H. Nothing special or new here. Taker says he can’t wait to see Triple H on RAW.

* Jack Swagger beat R-Truth by submission and celebrated with Michael Cole after the match.

* Christian defeated Alberto Del Rio with the Killswitch. Del Rio taunted Edge, who was in Christian’s corner. Edge acted like he was going to hit Del Rio with a chair. Christian ended up hitting Del Rio with the chair.

SMACKDOWN REPORT 3/18

In case you were hoping for the main event that was announced on Raw for the Tag Team Titles, we have some bad news. Instead of Edge and Christian teaming up to try for the tag titles, Big Show and Kane will be facing Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater for the titles. You may return to your flash photography to your overhead compartments.


But the Cole Chamber is being assembled while Michael Cole makes his way to the non-hermetically sealed box at ringside with his announcement by the ring announcer and the Raw theme music. Booker and Josh look incredulous at Cole.


Match Number One: Edge versus Brodus Clay with Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez


Edge avoids Clay and he punches the bigger man. Edge tries for an Irish whip but Clay does not move. Clay with an Irish whip but Edge with a kick to a charging Clay. Edge comes off the turnbuckles but Clay catches him and he hits a t-bone suplex. Clay with punches to the shoulder and then he uses his knee for extra pressure with Edge against the ropes.


Clay continues to work on the arm to weaken the shoulder. Clay with a wrist lock followed by a punch to the ribs. Clay with an arm bar on Edge but Edge with punches. Clay stops Edge with a knee. Clay runs into an elbow. Edge tries for a tornado DDT but Clay pushes him off and hits a clothesline and then he tries for a splash but Edge moves out of the way. Edge with a running forearm followed by a clothesline but Clay stays on his feet. Clay sends Edge into the turnbuckles and then Clay charges but Edge with a drop toe hold that sends Clay into the turnbuckles.


Edge goes up top and hits a cross body but Clay kicks out emphatically and Edge is sent to the apron. Clay charges but Edge with a shoulder and then Edge slides back into the ring and tries for a sunset flip but Clay does not go over and Clay drops down and gets a near fall.


Clay puts Edge against the turnbuckles and Clay tries for the running butt splash but Edge moves. Edge goes to the turnbuckles and hits a bulldog. Edge gets that look in his eyes and he pulls his hair and sets for the spear. Rodriguez gets on the apron to distract the referee. Meanwhile, on the other side of the ring, Alberto Del Rio’s evil plan is put into action as he grabs Edge’s leg to prevent the spear. Clay with a running body block but he can only get a two count.


From out of nowhere, Christian attacks Del Rio and they fight against the ring. Clay picks up Christian and then drops him on the apron. Edge with a spear for the three count.


Winner: Edge


After the match, Del Rio with a drop kick and then he punches Edge. Christian comes into the ring and he punches Del Rio. They fight to the floor with Christian getting in the majority of the punches. Del Rio with a knee and then they brawl over the announce table. The referees come out and separate Christian and Del Rio.


Teddy Long’s music plays and he comes out to make an announcement. He says that he is not going to stand by and watch the four of them constantly get in each other’s faces. The main event tonight is going to be Alberto Del Rio versus Christian. In order to ensure that this match is one-on-one, it will take place inside a steel cage.


We go to commercial.


Match Number Two: Sheamus versus Kofi Kingston in a Champion versus Champion Non Title Match


They lock up and Sheamus takes Kofi to the mat and he works on the shoulder. Sheamus with a wrist lock into a key lock but Kofi rolls through. Kofi with forearms and punches to Sheamus but Sheamus with an Irish whip. Sheamus charges into the corner but Kofi moves out of the way and Sheamus hits the turnbuckles shoulder first. Kofi leaps into the corner and he punches Sheamus, but before he can roll off Sheamus, Sheamus drops Kofi onto the turnbuckle. The referee checks on Kofi but Sheamus picks up Kofi and hits a short arm clothesline and gets a near fall.


Sheamus with a neck breaker and he gets another near fall. Sheamus starts to work on the back with a knee and then he puts Kofi in a rear chin lock with his knee in Kofi’s back. Kofi gets to his feet and he uses elbows and forearms to escape the hold. Sheamus with a back elbow to Kofi. Sheamus with an elbow to the back of the head and he wants to give Kofi a neck breaker but Kofi is able to counter with a rollup and he gets a near fall. Sheamus with a kick and Irish whip but Kofi goes to the apron and he hits the pendulum kick.


Kofi goes up top and Kofi with a cross body but Sheamus rolls through and then he tries for a power slam but Kofi gets away from Sheamus. Sheamus charges into boots from Kofi. Kofi follows that with a kick and forearms. Kofi with a side Russian leg sweep and then he hits the Superman punch. Kofi does a lap and then he hits the Boom drop. Kofi sets up for Trouble in Paradise but Sheamus goes to the apron. Sheamus drops Kofi on the top rope.


Sheamus tries for the back breaker but Kofi holds on to the ropes. Kofi hits the SOS but Sheamus is able to get to the rope to stop the count. Sheamus goes to the floor and Kofi uses the steps and he hits another Superman punch. Sheamus tries to get away and when Kofi goes over the steps, Sheamus kicks the steps and Kofi appears to have hurt his knee. Sheamus rolls Kofi back into the ring and then he hits the pump kick for the three count.


Winner: Sheamus


We go to footage from two weeks ago when the Corre got involved in the match between Kane and Big Show only to see Kane attack Justin Gabriel. Then we go to footage fro last week when the Corre attacked Kane during his match against Wade Barrett. Big Show made his way to the ring to go after Corre . . . and Kane.


Kane is in the back with Big Show and Show says that they need to put their differences aside to put a dent into the Corre. United, they can take the tag titles from Corre. Show asks Kane if he can remember when they were the tag champs before. He reminds Kane about how people would quake and shake in their boots when they walked into the room. He says that they can dominate again.


Kane grabs Show by the throat and Show does the same. Kane starts to laugh and then he tells Show that he completes him. Show calls Kane crazy.


We go to commercial.


Match Number Three: Trent Barreta versus Cody Rhodes


Cody walks to the ring in street clothes with a black towel over his head as he walks to the ring. Cody takes off his jacket and tie before entering the ring.


Cody throws the towel down and he kicks and Barreta and then he punches him. Cody with a shoulder to Trent and then he head butts Trent with the mask. Rhodes puts Barreta into the ropes and then he connects with another head butt and gets the three count.


Winner: Cody Rhodes


After the match, Cody puts the towel back over his head as he walks to the back.


We go to footage from last September when Del Rio attacked Christian and put him on the shelf for months.


We go to commercial.


We are back and it is time to talk about the Undertaker/Triple H match. We go to Part Three of Shawn Michaels’ analysis of the match from Monday night where he talks about the Undertaker.


Michelle takes a seat in the DMZ between Cole, Josh, and Booker.


Match Number Four: Layla with Michelle McCool versus Kelly Kelly


Layla and Kelly have some words and then Layla pushes Kelly but Kelly pushes back. Kelly sends Layla into the turnbuckles and then she kicks Layla. Layla with a kick followed by an Irish whip but she runs into a kick from Kelly. Kelly with a head scissors in the ropes but Layla sends Kelly to the floor. Kelly trips Layla and then she walks across Layla’s back and then hits a Thesz Press for a near fall. Kelly sends Layla to the mat by the hair. Kelly with a kick and an X Factor for a near fall.


Kelly with an Irish whip and then Kelly goes for the handspring into a back elbow but Layla knows what is coming and she gets her feet up in plenty of time to kick Kelly. Kelly with an elbow and then she slams Layla’s head into the mat. Kelly tries for the K2 but Layla gets her on her shoulders. Kelly gets out of the hold and she kicks Layla in the back. Kelly gets on the turnbuckles but Michelle rises from her seat in the announcing neutral zone and that distracts Kelly long enough to allow Layla to pull her from the turnbuckles to get the three count.


Winner: Layla


After the match, Layla and Michelle celebrate.


Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel walk in the back as they go to the ring for their tag title match.


Match Number Five: Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel versus Big Show and Kane for the World Tag Titles


Gabriel and Kane start things off and Kane puts Gabriel in the corner and connects with a knee and punch followed by a snap mare and drop kick for a near fall. Gabriel flips over Kane’s back and he tags Slater into the match. Slater walks into an uppercut from Kane followed by an Irish whip and clothesline in the corner. Kane with a side slam for a near fall. Kane with another Irish whip but he misses a boot in the corner and he gets his leg caught in the ropes. Slater kicks Kane in the leg and then he tags Gabriel back in.


Gabriel with an elbow drop to the leg and then he stomps on the knee. Slater is tagged back in and he hits a double sledge followed by a kick to the hamstring. Kane kicks Slater away but he is sent into his corner and that allows him to tag Gabriel back in and Gabriel clips Kane in the back of the leg. Gabriel goes to the turnbuckles and he comes off but he is met with the uppercut.


Show tags in and so does Slater. Show with a few clotheslines followed by a shoulder tackle and back body drop. Show with a running butt splash into the corner and a running shoulder tackle. Show signals for the choke slam and he grabs Slater and he hits the choke slam. Gabriel pulls the referee out of the ring to stop the count and then he calls for the bell.


Winners: Big Show and Kane by disqualification


After the match, Kane punches Gabriel and he sends Justin into the ring for Show to give him a choke slam but Ezekiel Jackson hits the ring and he takes Show down with a clothesline. Barrett sends Kane into the ringside barrier. All four members of the Corre attack Big Show. With some help, Barrett gets Show on his shoulders for Wasteland. Corre turns their attention to Kane on the floor. Kane tries to fight off Corre but the numbers are too great against him. They send Kane into the ring steps and then they put the steps on top of Kane.


Big Show tries to help Kane but he is unable to fight off all four members of The Corre. Barrett uses the other part of the ring steps on the steps that are already on top of Kane. Barrett hits Kane one more time with the steps.


Slater and Gabriel rearrange the announce table for Barrett and Jackson to hit a double flapjack that sends Show through the announce table.


The Corre celebrate their destruction in the ring.


We go to Todd Grisham in the interview area with Alberto Del Rio. Todd asks Alberto about his first WWE Steel Cage match. Todd starts to ask Alberto about the ramifications, but Alberto cuts Todd off. Alberto says that the ramifications are that Teddy Long is trying to interfere with his destiny. Christian is trying to interfere with his destiny. They are locking him in a cage like an animal. He asks Todd if he thinks that is funny. Alberto says that he is not an animal.


We are back and Michael Cole is beaming as if the Miz was making his way to the ring, but it is Cole’s trainer for his match at Wrestlemania. Cole continues to gush/mark out over what he is learning from Swagger. We see the footage from Monday night when Michael Cole put Jim Ross in the ankle lock.


Match Number Six: Jack Swagger versus Chris Masters


Swagger with a go behind but Masters gets to the ropes. Swagger with forearms followed by a punch and clothesline for a near fall. Swagger with a top wrist lock on Masters but Masters with a Samoan drop. Swagger with a kick but Masters tries for the Master Lock but Swagger backs Masters into the turnbuckles and Swagger tries for the ankle lock but Masters kicks Swagger off.


Swagger goes to the floor and he trips Masters and then he sends Masters’ ankle into the ring post. Swagger puts Masters in the ankle lock and Masters has to tap.


Winner: Jack Swagger


After the match, Cole opens Pandora’s Box and he makes his way into the ring to join his trainer.


Swagger gives Cole Masters’ leg so he can put Chris in the ankle lock. Cole screams Lawler’s name as he has Masters in the hold.


Swagger and Cole run laps inside the ring as we go to commercial.


Rey Mysterio is walking in the back as we go to commercial.


Match Number Seven: Rey Mysterio versus Ted DiBiase with Maryse


Ted with a kick and he tries for a slam but Rey escapes and he slides through Ted’s legs. Ted punches Rey and the referee warns him. Ted with a punch to Rey in the corner followed by an Irish whip but Rey floats over and sends Ted into the turnbuckles with a head scissors. Rey goes to the apron and then he goes up top but Ted with a drop kick for a near fall.


Ted with a knee drop and then he kicks Rey in the head. Rey with a kick and then he tries for a rana but Ted pushes Rey off and Rey lands on his feet. Ted hits the short rebound clothesline on Rey and he gets a near fall. Ted with a rear chin lock but Rey with an elbow and forearms. Ted with a neck breaker and then he sends Rey to the apron.


Rey punches Ted and then he slingshots himself back into the ring for a head scissors but Ted grabs Rey and tries for a power slam but Rey is able to counter with a DDT. Rey with a head scissors and then he goes for a second one but Ted turns it into a sit out inverted power bomb for a near fall.


Ted tries for Dream Street but Rey rolls through and then he drop kicks Ted in the knee and that sends him into the ropes. Rey hits the 619 and then he goes up top for the frog splash for the three count.


Winner: Rey Mysterio


After the match, Maryse walks away in disgust because of Ted’s loss.


We go to footage from last month’s Elimination Chamber when Del Rio went after Edge and put him in the cross arm breaker. Then we saw the return of Christian and the Killswitch on Del Rio followed by a spear from Edge.

We are back with the Raw Rebound of Snooki’s appearance on Raw with some of the media coverage after her appearance.


It is time to run through the card for Wrestlemania.


The steel cage is lowers from the heavens and the most electrifying music in sports entertainment plays. We go to commercial.


Match Number Eight: Christian versus Alberto Del Rio with Ricardo Rodriguez in a Steel Cage Match


The door closes to the cage and Del Rio goes after Christian but he moves out of the way. Christian with punches but Del Rio with a knee followed by a snap mare and kick to the back. Del Rio tries to send Christian into the cage but Christian is able to block it. Christian with a kick followed by punches and a back body drop. Christian tries to send Del Rio into the cage but Del Rio stops him. Christian tries for the Killswitch but Del Rio blocks it an then Del Rio with a clothesline. Christian with an Irish whip and Del Rio tries to escape the cage. Christian follows after him. They fight on the top rope and Del Rio tries for a German suplex from the top rope but Christian holds on to the cage. Christian gets to the top of the cage but Del Rio stops him and he hits a super Samoan drop and both men are down.


The referee checks on both men as we go to commercial.


We are back and Del Rio kicks Christian and then he punches him in the midsection. Christian with a kick but Del Rio sends Christian shoulder first into the cage and then Del Rio presses Christian into the cage. Del Rio kicks Christian in the shoulder and then he hits a belly-to-back suplex and gets a near fall. Del Rio with a reverse chin lock but Christian gets to his feet. Del Rio sends Christian back to the mat. Del Rio tries to climb the cage even though he is only feet away from the door.


Christian pulls Del Rio back to the mat. Del Rio with a kick to the knee. Del Rio tries to ram Christian into the cage but Christian blocks it. Christian with an inverted DDT on Del Rio for a near fall. Christian gets a second wind but he still shows the damage that he has suffered in the match. Christian with punches to Del Rio and then he sends Del Rio into the cage and he gets a near fall.


Del Rio grabs Christian’s ankle when Christian starts to go for the door. Christian kicks Del Rio and then he climbs the cage. Del Rio punches Christian to stop him and then he hits the running enzuigiri that knocks Christian off the middle rope and he gets a two count.


Del Rio starts to walk towards the open cage door but Christian stops him. Del Rio kicks Christian off. Del Rio is partially out of the cage but Christian pulls him back in. Del Rio kicks Christian off and then he kicks him again. Del Rio sets for the float over into the cross arm breaker but Christian counters it into the Killswitch and he hits it but Del Rio kicks out at two.


Christian struggles to get to his feet first and he starts to climb the cage but Del Rio pulls him off and then Del Rio pushes Christian’s back into the cage a few times and Christian slumps in the ropes. Del Rio uses Christian’s back to climb the ropes and get to the top of the cage. Christian grabs Del Rio’s leg and Christian climbs up top. Del Rio and Christian exchange punches on top of the cage.


Del Rio sees the Wrestlemania sign and he gets the encouragement to go over the cage. Christian hangs onto Del Rio and he propels himself over Del Rio and Christian gets to the floor first.


Winner: Christian


After the match, Del Rio shows his anger at losing the match. Del Rio with a drop kick to Christian while the referee raises Christian’s arm over the victory. Del Rio sends Christian into the ring bell pit.


Del Rio tells Christian that now he is going to destroy him like he is going to destroy Edge at Wrestlemania.


Before Del Rio can attack Christian, Alberto’s car horn honks. Edge is in the car and he says that it is a nice car. He asks how much it costs and then he comments on how nice the car is. Alberto wants to know what Edge is doing with his car. Edge says that it would be a shame if something happened to this car. What if he accidentally kicks out the headlight or scratches the paint job. Maybe he could stomp in the roof. Edge tells Alberto to shut up and then he says that he could get the steel chair in the passenger seat.


Before Edge can do anything to the car, Brodus Clay attacks Edge from behind. Del Rio and Rodriguez go to the car while Clay hits Edge with the chair and he hits Edge in the arm. Del Rio stands over Edge and then he puts Edge’s arm in a chair and then Alberto sets for a one man conchairto to the arm and he hits Edge in the arm.


Del Rio squats over Edge before the referees pull him away.

* Edge defeated Brodus Clay with the spear in the opening match. Alberto Del Ri came out after the match and beat Edge down. Christian made the save. Teddy Long came out and announced Del Rio vs. Christian in a cage match tonight.

* Backstage segment with Kane and Big Show trying to chokeslam each other.


* Cody Rhodes with new theme music beats Trent Baretta in a quick match.


* Layla defeated Kelly Kelly. Michelle McCool was on commentary and distracted Kelly to help Layla get the win.


* Big Show and Kane vs. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater for the WWE Tag Team Titles is up next. Big Show and Kane win by DQ then get beatdown by The Corre after the match.


* Jack Swagger beats Chris Masters with the ankle lock. After the match, Michael Cole comes out of his cube and put the ankle lock on Masters.

* Christian beat Alberto Del Rio in a steel cage match that was said to be a great main event. Christian won by escaping the cage. Edge came out afterward in Del Rio’s car and threatened to destroy it. Brodus Clay made the save and Del Rio helped him beat Edge down and hit a double chairshot to his arm.

Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up with a photo in a frame of The Rock yelling into a microphone. Rock is sitting in the room talking on his phone about how John Cena’s promo last week wasn’t funny and just stunk. Rock says he has tried talking with Cena like a man but he reacts like a child. Cena’s music plays and the camera pans out into the arena. Rock says Cena has a lot of nerve coming to Rock’s house but he finally has. Rock says this is Cena’s final chance to talk like a man. In walks a young boy dressed like Cena. He tells Rock he can’t see him.


Rock tells the mini-Cena to talk to him like an adult and stop acting like a rapper. The little kid raps something and tells Rock to come get some. Rock just laughs at him. Rock sits down and talks he’s talking to Cena. Rock acknowledges that Cena became the man in WWE while he was gone. Rock compares Cena to Kermit the Frog and Barney. Rock says Cena owns the 2-5 year old demographic. Rock asks mini-Cena if he knows why he will never be good as The Rock. The boy says yes, because I’m not as talented. Big shot at Cena there. Rock says finally it’s out in the open. Rock asks him how he feels now. Rock interrupts and tells mini-Cena it doesn’t matter how he feels. The mini-Cena starts crying and Rock hands him what he calls the next best thing to toilet paper – a Cena shirt. Rock says nobody cares about that shirt and throws it away, spitting on it. Rock says he’s proud of “Cena” for admitting he’s not that talented. Rock rewards Cena with a box of Fruity Pebbles and mini-Cena cheers up. Rock goes on dissing Cena and it’s pretty good. Rock sends mini-Cena on his way with the cereal and tells him to enjoy him, the no talent fruit loop. Rock directs his attention to the camera now and calls out The Miz.


The Rock talks about Miz laying out Cena last week, using The People’s Elbow and disrespecting his family. Rock said Miz made the statement that he wants Rock to give him the biggest ass whooping of his time. Rock says it’s WrestleMania time and the games are over. Rock promises to bring it live on RAW before WrestleMania. Rock says Cena and Miz need to be worried about how hard he lays the smackdown on their candy asses. Rock does his “if ya smell” line and his music hits to a big pop in the arena. Jerry Lawler welcomes us to RAW in St. Louis.


- We see Jersey Shore’s Snooki backstage talking with Trish Stratus.


- We go ringside with the announcers. Michael Cole is isolated in his own cube. He calls it the Cole Mine. We go to the ring and out comes the WWE Champion The Miz. Cole stands up in his cube and cheers on Miz.


They show replays of The Miz and John Cena going back and forth over the past few weeks. The Miz takes the mic and wants to speak but the crowd is booing him. Miz says The Rock does bring it, he brings old catchphrases and bad tattoos. Miz goes to address Rock’s family but the crowd chants “you suck.” Miz says Rock’s father and grandfather were good but never WWE Champion. Miz says he is better than both of them so he can say whatever he wants. Miz tells Rock to step in the ring and he will make him cry and scream like a little girl. Instead of talking about beating up John Cena, Miz has actually done it for three weeks in a row, he says.


The Miz goes on and declares he’s awesome. The e-mail alert goes off and Cole exits his cube and steps up to the podium. Jerry Lawler gets up and cuts him off. Lawler takes the podium instead to read the General Manager’s announcement. Lawler tells Cole to go back to his cage. It’s announced that John Cena will take on Alberto Del Rio for the first time ever tonight. The Miz says he’s beaten everybody there is to beat and his opponent is introduced… The Great Khali. Khali comes out with Ranjin Singh and we have a match.


The Great Khali vs. The Miz


We go to commercial as Khali makes his way down to the ring.


Back from the break and the bell rings. They go at it and Khali takes Miz down with chops. Khali hits the big over-hand chop on Miz and he goes down. Khali applies the vice grip on his head. Miz reaches for the ropes but is pulled back. Miz makes it back to the ropes but Khali won’t break the hold. Alex Riley runs in and attacks Khali from behind. Miz escapes while Khali hits Riley with a Khali Bomb. Miz runs in with a steel chair and cracks Khali in the back over and over until he falls to the mat. Miz continues the assault with the chair, hitting Khali about a dozen or more times. Miz drops Khali’s face on the chair and poses with it before leaving the ring. We see a shot of Khali’s back and blood is streaming out of it. Ranjin and a referee check on Khali as the blood comes down. Miz poses with the chair as we go back to the announcers.


– Michael Cole says he’s going to expose Jerry Lawler tonight. Cole says he has someone from Lawler’s past tonight and it will be someone to shock the world. We get hype for Mason Ryan vs. Randy Orton before going to commercial.


– We get a video package hyping up Triple H vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27.


– We see John Morison backstage with Snooki talking. She says they can always use another cast member on Jersey Shore. Vickie Guerrero ad Dolph Ziggler walk up. Vickie says Snooki thinks she’s special because she got the cover of Rolling Stone. Vickie said she was offered Playboy. Snooki says you can’t fit what Vickie has on one page and smacks her. Vickie vents to Dolph as Snooki and Morrison walk off and we go to commercial.


WWE United States Title Match: Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan


Back from commercial and out comes Sheamus, who is still using the “King” gimmick. Sheamus’ job is on the line here. Justin Roberts reminds us that Sheamus will quit WWE if he loses. Out next comes the WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan with Gail Kim.


The bell rings and Sheamus takes Bryan down first. Sheamus with a shoulder and a 2 count. They go back and forth. Bryan with a takedown as Matthews wonders if there is a King of the Ring curse. Sheamus ends up on the floor and Bryan dives through the ropes onto him. Bryan brings it back in the ring and goes up top. Bryan hits a big missile dropkick for a 2 count. Sheamus rolls out of the ring as we go to commercial.


Back from commercial and Sheamus has a chinlock on Bryan. During the break, Sheamus hit a big backbreaker and a clothesline. Bryan fights out of the chinlock but Sheamus knocks him down with another shoulder. Sheamus hits Bryan with a series of forearm shots to the chest now. Sheamus gets on the apron and hits a running knee to Bryan. 2 count for Sheamus. Bryan counters a move for a 2 count then dumps Sheamus out to the floor. Sheamus lands on the same ankle he fell on last week. Sheamus is down holding his knee as the referee counts. Sheamus makes it back in but goes to the corner. Bryan locks on the LaBella Lock but Sheamus makes it to the ropes. Bryan counters again and rolls him up for 2. They trade forearm shots now. Bryan drops Sheamus and knocks him out with a bunch of kicks. Sheamus kicks out at 2.


Bryan goes up top and comes down on Sheamus but gets hit with a brogue kick in mid-air. Sheamus covers Bryan for the pin and the win.

– Michael Cole stands up at his cube and says he is about to destroy The King and bring someone from Jerry Lawler’s past and expose him for what he is. Cole says that’s up next as we go to commercial.


– Back from commercial and we see highlights of Steve Austin’s return where he was named the special referee for WrestleMania. Michael Cole is in the ring and says the people enjoyed it when Austin put himself into Cole’s main event at WrestleMania. Cole guarantees that Austin will have minimal effect when he beats Jerry Lawler at WrestleMania. Cole directs his attention at Lawler and says he knows he doesn’t like it when someone talks about Lawler’s family – living or dead. Cole calls out Lawler’s son, former WWE star Brian Christopher. He comes out dancing to his Grand Master Sexay music.


Lawler looks on as Christopher dances into the ring and Cole dances around. Cole asks him why he never used the Lawler name in WWE. Christopher says he never had a father growing up because Jerry Lawler was off around the world being the King. Christopher says Lawler neglected him and never really wanted a child. Christopher steps out of the ring in front of the announcer’s table now. Christopher says when he made it to WWE, Lawler wouldn’t even acknowledge he was his son. Lawler grabs a mic and says Christopher isn’t the only one that’s glad he didn’t use the Lawler name. Lawler says Christopher is a bigger screw-up than Charlie Sheen. Christopher asks Lawler how it feels to know he competed at WrestleMania as Too Cool before he did. Christopher says he was one of the biggest WWE stars at one time. Christopher asks Lawler again how that makes him feel and shoves him twice. Christopher mushes Lawler in the face and says he’s ashamed of him. He drops the mic and walks off as Lawler looks on. Cole calls Lawler a coward and a loser. Cole says he will put Lawler in his place at WrestleMania. The music hits and out comes Jim Ross to a big pop!


JR enters the ring and Cole says it must be a slow week on Twitter or in the BBQ world. Ross tells Cole everything Cole has done has gone far enough. Cole tells JR to just go away. Cole says this is his show now and he is the voice of WWE, not Jim Ross. Ross says he had the privilege for many years of sitting beside Lawler at ringside and to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Ross says nobody will ever be the voice of WWE because the voices of WWE are in the arena tonight, referring to the fans. Ross says Lawler has been carrying Cole on commentary. JR calls Cole a rat bastard and walks off to leave the ring. Cole says he is the bigger man while JR walks out of the ring. Cole says JR has his tail tucked between his legs. JR stops and re-enters the ring.


Ross takes off his coat and his hat. Cole takes off his coat and tie. The crowd chants for JR. Jack Swagger runs down and attacks Lawler, laying him out at the announcer’s table. Cole instructs Swagger to get in the ring. Swagger comes in and JR tells him to hold on. Swagger kicks Ross in the gut and beats him down to the mat. Swagger applies the ankle lock to JR as Cole yells in his face. Lawler gets up and comes in the ring to fight Swagger off of JR. Cole jumps on Lawler’s back and they take him down. Swagger applies the ankle lock on Lawler now. Cole then applies the ankle lock on JR. Cole tells JR and Lawler this is his time.


– Josh Matthews hypes John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio and Mason Ryan vs. Randy Orton as we go to commercial.


Randy Orton vs. Mason Ryan


Back from commercial and we see recent clips of Randy Orton’s feud with Nexus. We go to the ring and out comes Randy Orton to a big pop from his hometown crowd. Out next is Mason Ryan with CM Punk. The bell rings and Ryan locks up with Orton and they go to the corner. Orton turns it around and unloads on Ryan with uppercuts. Ryan fights him off and ends up dropping Orton with a big boot. We see Punk looking on from the stage. If Ryan loses, he can’t be with Punk at WrestleMania. Ryan with a big backbreaker for a 2 count.


Mason applies a hold on Orton but Orton fights to his feet. Mason runs into Orton’s boot and Orton drops him with a clothesline. Mason catches Orton and drops him with a big side slam for a close 2 count. Ryan picks Orton up and looks at the WrestleMania sign. Orton comes back with an RKO out of nowhere for the win.


Winner: Randy Orton


- After the match, Orton stops on the ramp and stares at Punk. He looks back at Mason in the ring. Punk runs down as Orton runs in the ring and punt kicks Ryan. Punk enters the ring with half of his body but Orton gets in his face in the strike position and dares him to move. Punk slowly backs down and out of the ring. Punk retreats and a stretcher is brought down for Mason as Orton poses in the corner before we take another break.


– We get a Hall of Fame video package for comedian Drew Carey’s induction. They show Carey’s appearance in the Royal Rumble years ago and the interruption from Kane. They plug Drew’s new show and role on The Price Is Right.


– Michael Cole stands up in his cube again and welcomes us all to the Cole Mine again. Cole says we all saw the premiere of the Michael Cole ankle lock tonight. Cole says he is going to use that move to defeat Jerry Lawler at WrestleMania. Cole tells Jim Ross that ankle lock was a slobberknocker. Cole mocks JR some more as Matthews hypes Cena vs. Del Rio for later.


- Trish Stratus and Snooki are walking backstage when Zack Ryder walks up. He shows Snooki his abs and asks her how she likes that situation. She says it’s pretty solid and walks off with Trish as we go to commercial.


– Back from commercial and out comes tonight’s RAW guest host Snooki from MTV’s Jersey Shore. Snooki says she has been waiting for this moment all week long. Snooki says she’s ready for Trish Stratus to shut Vickie Guerrero’s mouth up and that’s it. Snooki goes to ringside as Vickie Guerrero makes her way out.


No DQ Match: Vickie Guerrero vs. Trish Stratus


Vickie Guerrero comes in the ring as a No DQ stipulation is added. Vickie asks us to excuse her. She says she will beat Trish Stratus tonight and get a job on RAW. Snooki boo’s Vickie from ringside. Vickie tells Snooki to never touch her again and talks about stealing her spotlight. Vickie says Snooki’s Rolling Stones cover was supposed to be hers and shows a fake cover with Vickie on it. Vickie says she will be the new media darling after tonight. The music of Trish Stratus hits and out she comes to the ring to a nice pop.


The bell rings and here we go. Trish rolls Vickie up for a 2 count. Vickie goes for a kick and Trish catches her leg. Trish shoves Vickie to the mat. Vickie runs around the ring but Trish chases her back in. Vickie tries to fight Trish off with her shoe. She throws it and Trish ducks. Vickie pulls her other shoe off and charges with it. Trish kicks her to the mat. Trish spanks Vickie with the shoe until Dolph Ziggler runs in the ring. John Morrison runs out next and goes at it with Ziggler. They fight to the floor. Michelle McCool and Layla run out. It’s still a No DQ match so everything goes. McCool kicks Trish in the chin and lays her out. Vickie, Layla and McCool all cover Trish at the same time for the win.


Winner: Vickie Guerrero


– Vickie celebrates her new job on RAW with LayCool as they all lay on Trish and take photos. McCool points out Snooki and they pick on her height. McCool drops down to the floor and taunts Snooki, who is still sitting down. Snooki stands up and McCool shoves her back into the chair. McCool goes for the ring but Snooki pulls her to the floor. Snooki goes in the ring and leaps onto Layla and works her over. Trish comes back in and takes out McCool while Snookie is on top of Layla. Morrison, Snooki and Trish pose in the ring while LayCool, Dolph and Vickie are on the floor. Vickie tells Snooki she is way over her head. Vickie says she is going to show them all what they deserve. Vickie challenges the three of them to face LayCool and Ziggler at WrestleMania. Snooki, Morrison and Trish accept and we have a match for WrestleMania. Time for another break.


– Back from commercial and we get another video for Sin Cara. This time he’s performing lucha moves in a ring surrounded by fire.


– We go to another video of Shawn Michaels talking about Triple H vs. The Undertaker. Last week he talked about Triple H and this week he’s talking about The Undertaker. Shawn talks about how intimidating Taker is and what he’s accomplished in his career. Shawn then talks about the streak.


Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena


We go to the ring where Ricardo Rodriguez begins to introduce Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio comes driving a white convertible Bentley into the arena. Out behind Del Rio comes Brodus Clay down the ramp. Del Rio and Clay enter the ring as we get ready for John Cena’s entrance. Cena comes out to a huge pop from the crowd, maybe the biggest of the night. Cena enters the ring and we get ready to go.


Del Rio and Cena lock up for the first time ever. Del Rio takes Cena down with a headlock. Michael Cole says he has it on good authority that The Rock is here in St. Louis tonight. They go back and forth until Del Rio is forced out of the ring. We go to commercial with Cole yelling “Rock is here!”


Back from the break and Del Rio takes Cena down for a 2 count. Del Rio with another headlock on Cena. Both men go down twice after colliding. They get to their feet and trade right hands in the middle of the ring. Cena takes Del Rio down with shoulder blocks and hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment but Brodus Clay comes in and knocks Cena down.


Winner by DQ: John Cena


– After the match, Del Rio and Clay beat down Cena. The Rock’s music hits and the crowd erupts. It’s not The Rock, it’s The Miz dressed like The Rock, complete with bald head and everything. Cena tries to fight off Del Rio and Clay in the ring but can’t. They beat him down. Cena gets up but Miz hits The Rock Bottom. Del Rio hits a big kick to the head on Cena in the corner. Clay is he next as he tosses Cena with an overhead suplex. Cena is sent to the floor as Miz poses on the turnbuckles like The Rock. Miz removes the rubber from his head and goes outside after Cena. Miz rams Cena into the steel ring post. Miz tells Cena this is his Road to WrestleMania and drops him with a microphone shot to the head. Miz tells Cena he has owned him for three weeks now and will own him until WrestleMania. Miz decks him again with the microphone, sending him up by the ramp. Miz suplexes Cena onto the steel. Miz picks Cena up and they fight to the top of the ramp. Cena fights back but Miz drops him on his face, hitting the stage. Miz taunts Cena and throws him into the W that’s a part of the RAW set. Cena gets up but Miz Mic Checks him into the steel structure of the W. The Miz stares at Cena in his face as his music hits and we go to replays. RAW goes off the air with The Miz standing over John Cena laid out on the steel.

SMACKDOWN REPORT 3/11

We are live on tape from Houston, Texas and your announcers are Michael ‘Since we are in Booker’s home town, tonight’s show is all about me’ Cole, Josh ‘Since we are in Booker’s home town, I can dig it. . . Sucka!!!’ Mathews, and Booker ‘Tell me you did not just say that’ T.


The current World Champion, Edge comes to the ring to talk to the people of Houston as well as the WWE Universe.


In case you missed last week’s show we see highlights of the contract signing ceremony and Michael Cole tells us that Edge ‘shot first’ and then we see Christian going after Alberto Del Rio, and tangentially to help Edge.


Edge looks at the Wrestlemania sign and tells Alberto twenty-three days. In twenty-three days they will meet for the World Title at Wrestlemania. He says that a little blood and a busted nose is not going to stop him. He asks Alberto if he knows who he is and what he had to get through to get here. Edge says that he is not looking for a match, he wants a fight. Edge tells Alberto that he is not giving him a choice or an option.


If he does not come out, he will find him. Edge says that he does not care if it is a parking lot, a hotel room, or a bingo hall . . . he will find Alberto. He wants to make sure that Alberto understands.


Alberto’s music plays and he does not drive out. He is accompanied by Brodus Clay. Alberto asks Edge who does he think he is to call him out. He wants to know if Edge knows who he is.


Edge says that he is a Ricky Martin lookalike who is trying to reform Menudo with King Hippo. He tells Alberto that he is a cocky, egotistical, arrogant coward.


Alberto says that he is the man who sends Edge home every week in pain. He is Alberto Del Rio and he is with Brodus Clay. Alberto says that he is the man who is going to replace Edge’s legacy with his destiny.


Alberto and Brodus enter the ring and we have a stare down before Alberto says that he will become the new World Champion at Wrestlemania.


Edge punches Del Rio and then he goes after Clay. Edge punches Del Rio but Clay with a clothesline. Alberto punches Edge and hits him with his scarf. Clay sends Edge’s shoulder into the ring post.


Christian’s music plays and he comes to the ring and he punches Clay and then he takes Del Rio down and he punches him. Clay with a running shoulder to Christian. Del Rio punches Edge while Clay punches Christian.


Referees come to the ring and then Teddy Long’s music plays and he comes out. Teddy is not in a dancing mood and he says that after last week’s contract signing and what just happened, it appears that they still have some issues. Tonight will be one of the most historic nights in the history of Smackdown. Brodus Clay and Alberto Del Rio will face one of the greatest tag teams ever, reunited for the first time in ten years, Edge and Christian.


Michael Cole calls himself a ‘pop icon’ but he says that he will return to his ‘journalistic roots’ and he will interview John Cena in what Cole calls ‘The Interview of the Year’.


We go to commercial.


We are back and Did You Know that there are going to be a lot of autographs signed during Wrestlemania Axxess.


While Kane comes to the ring, Josh reminds us of Corre confronting Kane last week and then we see the highlights from the match between Kane and Big Show when The Corre came to assist Kane, but Kane decided to hit Justin Gabriel with a chair as well.


Wade Barrett comes out and he tells Kane that he has made a couple of monumental mistakes. First, he did not appreciate what the Corre did for him. Then he had the audacity to put his hands on Justin Gabriel. He says that Kane is just a great big chemical experiment mistake.


Match Number One: Kane versus Wade Barrett


Barrett with a kick and punches to Kane followed by more kicks int eh corner. Barrett is warned by the referee but he continues to kick Kane. Kane with an uppercut and the momentum shifts. Kane with punches followed by an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Kane sends Barrett into the turnbuckles and just as Booker comments that maybe Corre needs to get involved, they come to the ring and the referee calls for the bell.


Winner: Kane by disqualification


As Corre comes to the ring, Kane takes care of Gabriel and Slater but Jackson with a clothesline that takes Kane to the mat. They quadruple team Kane until they see Big Show coming to the ring with a chair. Corre runs away and we go to commercial.


We are back and it appears that a tag match has been set up by Teddy Long (or the Raw General Manager controls the commercial breaks).


Match Number Two: Big Show and Kane versus Heath Slater and Wade Barrett


Show with a forearm to Slater’s back followed by a head butt and a chop in the corner. Show with a slam to Slater and Barrett tags in. Show with forearms to the back and then he punches Barrett in the corner. The referee warns Show so Show changes to a chop. Show puts Barrett in the other corner and he chops Barrett. Show with a running clothesline into the corner and then he grabs Barrett by the throat but Wade escapes the choke slam and Barrett clips Show. Barrett with a series of running boots to the head and Show is on the mat. Barrett with kicks and punches to Show and Slater is tagged back in. Heath punches Show and gets a near fall but Show with an emphatic kick out.


Slater with a reverse chin lock on Show. Show gets to his feet and hits a side slam on Slater to get him out of the hold. Show makes the tag to Kane and Kane goes up top and hits the clothesline and sends Slater into the turnbuckles. Kane with an Irish whip and running clothesline followed by a side slam. Kane knocks Barrett off the apron and then he hits Slater with a big boot.


Kane sets for the choke slam but Gabriel and Jackson come to the ring and the referee calls for the bell.


Winners: Kane and Big Show by disqualification


Corre attacks Kane and Big Show is still on the floor watching the attack. Show goes to get a chair and Corre stops their attack on Kane. Show’s first target is Ezekiel Jackson who gets a chair to the back. Show tosses the chair to Barrett and Wade catches it so Show punches the chair and Barrett goes down. Gabriel and Slater leave the ring before Show can do anything to them.


Show hits Kane in the back with the chair and then shakes it off.


Rey Mysterio makes sure that his mask is securely fastened because he is going to be in a match tonight. We go to commercial.


We are back and Michael Cole calls himself ‘wrestling’s Barbara Walters’ so he will ask the important questions of John Cena tonight. What type of tree will John Cena say that he wants to be?


Booker asks Cole about his special guest referee for his match with Jerry Lawler at Wrestlemania and whether something happened on Raw. We go to the footage from Raw.


Cody Rhodes comes out and he tries to hide his face from his mirror on the TitanTron as well as the fans.


We see the Rhodes family attack on Rey Mysterio from two weeks ago when Rey got suckered by Dusty Rhodes to come to the ring.


Match Number Three: Cody Rhodes versus JTG


Cody is dressed in his street clothes for this match.


Cody punches and kicks JTG but JTG with a shoulder and punch. Rhodes sends JTG into the turnbuckles and then Rhodes with a punch and head butts. JTG appears to be out. Cody hits CrossRhodes for the three count.


Winner: Cody Rhodes


It is time to go to Shawn Michaels’ comments about Triple H and Undertaker and their match at Wrestlemania. Here is part two.


Michael Cole walks to the ring and we go to commercial.


We are back and it is time for the Most Monumental Interview that will probably include the word ‘Poopy’ in modern history . . . if not the history of mankind.


Cole thanks Cena for joining him on his show tonight. He says that the WWE Universe is buzzing about what happened on Raw. We go to the video tape of Miz attacking John Cena and some of Miz’s comments and the AWESOME Elbow.


Cena looks at the Wrestlemania sign before Cole’s first question. Cena takes the mic from Cole and he says that he heard it was going to be the interview of the year. He says that if it is, he wants Cole to turn around and crawl back into the hole he got puked out of.


Cena congratulates Miz for getting one by him. Cena says that he put all of his time and focus into something that doesn’t exist. Miz just made the biggest mistake of his career. Cena says that he has been so caught up in the war of words and was on the edge of his seat like everyone else, but Miz stayed under the radar, stay forgotten about, and then he could cruise into Wrestlemania and maybe have a chance of winning.


Cena says that he is here tonight and he is done dealing with the bs. If Miz wants to be must see and make a statement about being the new face of the WWE? Cena says that his focus has shifted to one new goal. That goal is breaking the face of the WWE.


Cena gives the mic back to Cole and he starts to leave the ring but Cole wants Cena’s attention please because he is not finished with his interview.


Cole asks Cena if he thinks that he is underestimating the Miz. Cole says that maybe Cena is scared that he is going to blow his opportunity at Wrestlemania. Cena won’t get goaded by Cole. Cole says that he isn’t asking Cena to rap to him. He just wants him to answer the question. Maybe Cena can’t answer because Miz shut him up on Monday night.


The shirt comes off (of Cena) and then he approaches Cole who starts to backpedal. Cena grabs Cole by the throat and Jack Swagger comes to the ring. Swagger takes Cena down and he tries to put Cena in the ankle lock but Cena is able to roll through and get away from Swagger. Swagger with forearms to Cena as well as punches. While this is going on, Cole wants Swagger to teach Cena a lesson for dissing him. Cole tells Swagger to ‘put the lock on and teach him about respect’. Swagger tries to put Cena in the ankle lock but Cena gets on his back and he kicks Swagger out of the ring.


Cena gets back to his feet and he goes after Cole again. Cena gets Cole up for the Attitude Adjustment but Swagger pulls Cole off Cena’s shoulders. Cena is able to give Swagger an Attitude Adjustment.


Cole is in shock at what happened because his trainer failed in his mission.


We see the Sin Cara video package.


Match Number Four: Layla with Michelle McCool versus Kaitlyn


They lock up and Kaitlyn pushes Layla to the mat and Layla holds on to the ropes to avoid Kaitlyn but Kaitlyn drops Layla on her back. Layla tries to talk to Michelle but Kaitlyn pulls Layla back into the ring. Michelle gets on the apron and Kaitlyn almost pulls her into the ring but she remembers that she is wrestling Layla. Layla with a kick followed by the Lay Out for the three count.


Winner: Layla


After the match, they put Kaitlyn in the corner and Michelle with a running knee to the back.


We go to commercial with footage from Cody Rhodes’ attack on Rey Mysterio.

Michael Cole has returned to the announce table and he has the boo boo face because of what John Cena did to him and Jack Swagger.


Match Number Five: Rey Mysterio versus Drew McIntyre


Drew with a boot to Rey and then he punches Rey and kicks him in the head. Drew with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Drew stretches Rey as he works on the back. Rey with kicks but Drew with kicks of his own as he stays in the corner. Drew with an Irish whip but Rey floats over. Rey sends Drew into the ropes with a head scissors but Drew is able to get up before Rey can hit the 619. Rey senses that Drew is going to get out of the way, he slides to the floor as well. Drew charges at Rey and Rey with a drop toe hold that sends Drew into the apron.


Rey kicks Drew in the leg but Drew sends Rey into the ring post when they battle on the apron. Drew uses the apron for a back breaker. Drew tells the announcers that he is going to Wrestlemania and he is going to cripple everyone.


We go to commercial.


We are back and Drew puts Rey in a bow and arrow while Drew keeps his shoulders off the mat. Rey is able to escape and he turns it into a lateral press and he gets a near fall. Drew returns to the back with forearms and then he punches Rey in the back of the head while the referee warns Drew. Drew with a hard Irish whip and Rey goes down hard and Drew gets a near fall.


Drew puts Rey on top and he tries for a suplex or Future Shock DDT from the turnbuckles but Rey knocks Drew off and then he hits a seated splash. Rey tries for a springboard cross body but Drew moves out of the way. Drew rolls Rey up but he can only get a near fall. Drew with an Irish whip but Rey moves out of the way and Drew goes shoulder first into the post. Rey with a kick to Drew and then he hits a 619 followed by a dive from the turnbuckles for the three count.


Winner: Rey Mysterio


After the match, Cody Rhodes comes out and he applauds Rey’s victory. Cody tells Rey that he is still waiting for his answer. Cody does his best to get out of the lights to hide his face.


Rey asks Cody what’s the matter because his daddy ain’t here to conspire against him. Rey tells Cody that he wore his mask with pride before Cody pulled it off his face. Rey says that wears his mask with pride right now. Rey says that he will wear his mask with pride when he beats Cody down at Wrestlemania.


We go to commercial.


We are back and Triple H has brought his water spitting proficiency into the Undertaker’s yard.


Hunter says that the Undertaker was gracious enough on Monday night to remind him what he can do in the ring. Now it is time for Triple H’s video rebuttal.


Hunter says for the last two years, he has seen the two greatest matches at Wrestlemania and they were the two matches involving Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker. Unfortunately for Shawn, he lost both matches. Hunter says that he doesn’t know why because Shawn is one of the greatest performers of all time but he could not get it done.


Hunter says that he found out on Monday night when Shawn said that he could not separate the emotion from the matches. He says that Shawn talked about being overwhelmed by the emotion of standing in front of the mountain that is the legacy of the Undertaker. That was Shawn’s Achilles’ Heel. Shawn went into those matches not trying to win, but not to lose.


Hunter says that Shawn pointed out that he has a dark side so Hunter says that he won’t have to deal with the emotion of the match. Hunter says that he has a side that makes him downright mean, vicious, and brutal. A dark side that allows him to do unthinkable things to anyone at any time without any regret, emotion, or remorse.


Hunter says that sounds like a horrible person, but Hunter says that it is true. He will stand in the ring on the grandest stage of them all in the biggest match of his life looking across the ring into the eyes of the greatest legend there has ever been or will ever be in this business.


He says that he will do what no man has ever been able to do before. At Wrestlemania, he will beat the Undertaker.


Hunter says that he will have no emotion and he will not care about the legacy standing in front of him. He will not blink or hesitate in the match. He will not become unglued by things that go bump in the night.


Hunter thanks the Undertaker for making this match No Holds Barred.


Christian is in the locker room getting ready for his match and Matt Striker stops by to get some comments from Christian about reforming his tag team with Edge. Christian points out that it has been ten years. A lot of things can happen in ten years. Christian runs down all of the technological breakthroughs that we have seen in that time. Christian says that we haven’t seen the two guys who started this decade off right. We haven’t seen the two guys who reeked of awesomeness. That was then and this is now. He tells Alberto Del Rio and Houston . . . we have a problem.


Edge stops by and they go to the ring for their match.


Match Number Six: Brodus Clay and Alberto Del Rio with Ricardo Rodriguez versus Edge and Christian


Clay and Christian start things off and Christian with punches to Clay and then he goes after Del Rio. Christian with a kick and punch to Clay as he avoids the big man until Clay can send him into the turnbuckles. Clay misses a charge into the corner and Christian goes to the turnbuckles for a tornado DDT, but Del Rio distracts Christian and Clay is able to connect with a shoulder to stop Christian.


Clay punches Christian and then he hits a t-bone suplex. Christian goes to the floor and Edge goes to check on him. The referee sends Edge back to his corner and Del Rio sends Christian into the ringside barrier. Edge chases Del Rio around the ring and Alberto jumps into the crowd to avoid Edge.


Clay brings Christian back into the ring and Clay hits an elbow drop and he gets a near fall. Clay with a slam and then he tags in Del Rio who kicks Christian in the ribs and he gets a near fall. Del Rio punches Christian and the referee warns him. Del Rio with an arm bar on Christian but Christian gets to his feet and he punches Del Rio. Del Rio stops Christian with kicks and forearms and then he kicks Christian while he is in the ropes and Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio takes the tape on Christian’s injured shoulder and he wraps it around the rope.


Del Rio puts Christian on the turnbuckles, but Christian with punches and a kick. Christian with a back elbow off the turnbuckles and both men are down. Both men struggle to make the tag. Clay tags in and so does Edge. Edge with a clothesline followed by a cross body but Clay catches Edge and he hits a power slam but Edge kicks out. Clay with an Irish whip but Clay charges and is sent into the turnbuckles with a drop toe hold. Edge knocks Del Rio off the apron.


Edge pulls at the hair and he sets for the spear but he runs into a shoulder from Clay. Clay pulls Edge into the corner for a running butt splash but Clay misses when Edge moves out of the way. Del Rio interferes with a shot to the back but Christian comes in to take care of Del Rio. Del Rio with a knee and then he sends Christian into the corner. Del Rio charges at Christian but Christian back body drops Del Rio to the floor. Clay charges into boots from Christian and then Christian with a tornado DDT and Edge hits an elbow drop from the top turnbuckle for the three count.


Winners: Edge and Christian


We go to credits with Edge and Christian celebrating in the ring.
