Matt Hardy wrote the following on Twitter regarding his injury from the European tour: “Thx 4 the well wishes on my arm injury, all are much appreciated! My bicep & shoulder muscles are deeply bruised & strained, but not torn. Haven’t missed any of my matches or appearances, nor will I on this tour. I’m working in pain, but attempting to work as smart as possible.”

WrestleMania 21 has been listed as #7 by the Staples Center in Los Angeles on the list of top ten events held at the building. WrestleMania 21 featured Batista vs. Triple H, John Cena vs. JBL, Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels, Undertaker vs. Randy Orton, Big Show vs. Akebono, Trish Stratus vs. Christy Hemme, Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero, the first-ever Money in the Bank match and appearances by Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin, among others.

CHRIS JERICHO COMMENTS ON NXT SEGMENT

Chris Jericho wrote the following on Twitter yesterday regarding the NXT challenge from this past Tuesday’s show: “To truly make it in the WWE, you have to be able to adapt to any situation and be ready for anything everytime u step into the ring. Sometimes you have to add five mins onto a match with no notice. Sometimes injuries occur and you have to change things on the fly. And Sometimes you have to cut a 30 second promo about toothpaste. The best can go with the flow and succeed in all situations and that’s why The NXT rookies had the talk off this week and that’s why it was a very important and relevant segment.”

STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN TO HOST RAW AGAIN

Speaking of RAW guest hosts, there’s speculation that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin may get a second shot at hosting the show this summer. A big action movie “The Expendables” hits theatres this summer and features Austin alongside a ton of other action stars, and sources say they wouldn’t be surprised if WWE capitalized by bringing back Austin for another night.

NO GUEST HOST FOR DRAFT EPISODE OF RAW

The PWTorch Newsletter reports that WWE will not be having a celebrity guest host for the three-hour April 26 edition of RAW, which will feature the WWE roster draft. WWE isn’t planning to announce a host for the show in order to keep the focus on the draft itself. This will be the first episode of RAW not to feature a guest host since the concept began back in June 2009.
Following the draft and throughout the summer, WWE will likely continue working with movie studios to feature more guest hosts promoting summer movies.
With movie studios trying to market action and comedy movies to the target audience of males 18-49, it’s safe to assume the RAW guest-hosting concept will continue for a while.
