NEW NAME FOR WWE FATAL 4 WAY PPV

The official website of the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. is listing Capitol Punishment in place of Fatal 4-Way. The pay-per-view event takes place Sunday, June 19

FUTURE OF WWE FATAL 4 WAY PPV

An internal WWE pay-per-view memo still lists the Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view as having that name but the new tagline is Capitol Punishment. It was previously reported that Fatal 4 Way had been changed to Capitol Punishment but until we get official word from WWE, it sounds like the Capitol Punishment name is just a tagline.
For what it’s worth, WWE recently registered the trademark for Capitol Punishment.

WWE FATAL 4 WAY GETS RENAMED

WWE’s Fatal 4-Way pay-per-view event has been renamed Capitol Punishment, according to the official website of Cineplex Odeon Theatres. The event takes place on June 19, 2011 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

STRAIGHT EDGE REVIEW OF FATAL 4 WAY MATCH FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP

According to me this match was up to its mark........ i wanted sheamus 2 win this tittle... because he hd that ability 2 defeat john cena, randy orton and edge... though he won bcause of the help of NXT wrestlers, i would ratherly say he deserved it he dide win tht match. The match very much hyped .John cena tried his best to defend his title but he couldnt as NXT wrestlers wacked him badly 2 along with randy and edge . Randy orton and Edge wre busy fighting with each other.... as if they dnt cared abt the title.. overall i loved that match it was gd n a interesting 2 .... but in this PPV i could see a alot of interference in other matches 2..
my rating for this match would be 7/10...

BRET HART GONE INDEFINITELY

Word coming out of WWE is that Bret Hart is gone for the time being. While there is talk that he might be back by the end of the Summer, he’s gone indefinitely. Not much details are available yet but it is known that there was concern from Lloyds of London, Bret’s insurance provider, after the physical angle at the end of last week’s RAW with the NXT Rookies.


Originally Bret was going to shoot a face-to-face angle at the Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view with the NXT Rookies but when he didn’t make it to the show, plans had to be changed.

CENA RECORDS NEW RAP, SHEAMUS CREATES RECORD

John Cena noted on Twitter this weekend that he recorded new music with rapper Freddie Foxxx while in New York City for the WWE Supershow at MSG.


After winning the main event last night at Fatal 4 Way, Sheamus became the 100th WWE Champion.

PEOPLE CHANTED FOR BRYAN DANIELSON

 Bryan Danielson was over with the live audience at the Nassau Coliseum’s for WWE’s Fatal 4-Way event. Fans were reportedly chanting for “Daniel Bryan” just prior to the show going live. His name could also be heard during the conclusion of the show when the NXT Rookies stormed the ring during the WWE Championship Match.

WHAT HAPPENED AFTER FATAL 4 WAY

After Fatal 4 Way last night, John Cena got on the mic and told everyone that there was a black cloud shadowing WWE. Cena said he wasn’t upset because Sheamus is the champion but because the NXT guys have taken over WWE TV and now PPV. Cena said he’s still here and talked about fans opinions on how he wrestles.

Cena said he can fight and promised to take on the Rookies every week until they all fall. Cena said he believes in the WWE stars and before slamming the mic down and walking off, he said that he hopes the Rookies are on RAW to fight.

SEVERAL TITLES CHANGED HANDS

Several titles changed hands at Fatal 4 Way, Rey Mysterio became The World Heavyweight Champion after pinning Jack Swagger, On the other hand Sheamus picked up a narrow victory over John Cena  when NXT Rookies attacked him. Divas Title changed hands too, as a result Alicia Fox became the champion.

FULL REPORT OF WWE FATAL 4 WAY

The 2010 WWE Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view opens with a video package for the WWE Title match tonight. We shift to a video package for the World Heavyweight Title match and Kane’s revenge for what happened to The Undertaker.

- The pyro explodes inside the Nassau Coliseum as Michael Cole wishes us a Happy Father’s Day. Cole says 5 WWE Championships will be on the line tonight and we go to the arena.

- Vince McMahon comes out to the stage and says he hates to start the show on a somber note, but RAW’s General Manager Bret Hart will not be here tonight. Vince shows us why and replays the NXT car crash from Monday’s RAW.

Vince says he will be meeting with Bret’s representatives later tonight to see what his role will be from now on and what action he will take against the NXT Rookies.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston

Drew McIntyre comes down to the ring for tonight’s first match. Vince McMahon stops Drew on the stage, shakes his hand and gives him some words of encouragement. Drew walks to the ring. We see Vince getting in a limo in the back. Drew takes the mic and tells Teddy Long that Vince McMahon said he must come out right now. Out comes Teddy Long. Drew insults him as he walks to the ring. Drew tells Teddy to sit at ringside and when he wins back the Intercontinental Title, Teddy has to hand it to him. Out comes the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston.

Kofi looked angry coming out, and the referee had to hold him back during the introductions. Kofi immediately began throwing kicks at the legs and body at the bell. McIntyre fought back with punches and threw Kofi down by the hair and stomped his head. They slugged it out, then Kofi hit a monkey flip and a dropkick. Kingston clotheslined McIntyre to the floor. Kofi hit a tope, then rolled him back in the ring. McIntyre rolled back out, then clipped Kofi’s leg as he came out after him. Back in the ring, McIntyre threw Kofi shoulder first into the ringpost and got a two count. McIntyre pounded Kofi with forearms, then pulled him across the ring apron and pounded him across the chest. Kofi kicked Drew from his back, and they fought on the outside, with Drew whipping Kofi’s arm into the ringpost.

Back in the ring, McIntyre got a two count, then applied an armbar. Kofi armdragged out of it, then slid under McIntyre, but Drew hit him with a shoulderblock. Drew stomped the arm, and Kofi tried to fight back, but Drew stomped him down in a corner. Drew flipped Kofi to the mat with an armwringer, then applied a overhead wristlock. Drew yanked Kofi to the mat by the hair and continued to work on the arm. McIntyre mocked Kofi’s “Boom” claps, and it allowed Kofi to throw some kicks from the mat, but Drew pounded him back down. Drew returned to the armbar, but Kofi fought up and went for a sunset flip. Drew tried to punch out of it, but Kofi moved and Drew punched the mat. Drew came right back with a kick to the injured arm for a two count.

Drew clotheslined Kofi twice in the corner. Drew went for a short-arm clothesline, but Kofi floated over it and hit a DDT. Kofi elbowed Drew, then hit some kicks to the legs. Kofi punched Drew in the head, then hit a series of chops and a dropkick. Kofi missed a clothesline, then Drew missed with one and Kofi rolled up Drew for a two count. Kofi hit a reverse bodypress out of the corner for a two count, but Drew hit the arm again and delivered a neckbreaker on the knee for a two count. Drew went for a slam, but Kofi floated out of it and hit a legsweep. Kofi hit the Boom Drop legdrop, then began to clap. Drew backed away from the Trouble In Paradise kick, and backdropped Kofi to the ringapron. Drew hit some punches and went to back suplex Kofi into the ring, but Kofi shifted his weight and landed on top of Drew for a two count.

Drew hit a running kick on Kofi, then went for the Future Shock DDT, but Kofi broke out and hit a Tornado DDT off the middle rope. Drew got his foot on the bottom rope to stop the count. Kofi mounted Drew in the corner for punches, but Drew walked out of it with a powerbomb on Kofi for a near fall. Drew complained about the count. Drew picked up Kofi off the mat, but Kofi hit the SOS for a two count. McIntyre tripped Kofi into the turnbuckles, but Kofi grabbed a headscissors. Drew stood up in the headscissors and threw Kofi into the referee, knocking him out.

Drew threw Kingston shoulder first into the ringpost and hit the Future Shock DDT, but there was no referee to count. McIntyre tried to revive the referee, then went outside and threw Teddy Long in the ring, demanding he make the count. McIntyre even ripped the shirt off the unconscious referee and ordered Long to put it on. Long did so, and McIntyre made the cover. Long counted two, then stopped and shook his head no. The fans chanted for Long. McIntyre glared at Long, and backed him in a corner. McIntyre told Long he needs to count him, or he would “drop him.” McIntyre went to pick up Kofi for another DDT, but Matt Hardy ran in from the crowd and gave McIntyre a Twist Of Fate. Long just watched. Kofi then gave McIntyre a Trouble In Paradise kick and Long counted the pinfall for Kofi at the 17-minute mark.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

- We go backstage where Savannah interviews The Hart Dynasty about competing in a 6-person match tonight, so soon after their Uncle Bret’s attack last week. Natalya and Tyson talk about beating The Uso’s. David Hart Smith says on Father’s Day today, they fight for Bret.

Fatal 4 Way for the WWE Divas Title: Gail Kim vs. Maryse vs. Alicia Fox vs. Eve

We go to the ring for tonight’s Divas Title match. Out first comes Maryse, followed by Gail Kim, Alicia Fox and finally the WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres.

The bell rings and they all go at it. Alicia gets a quick 2 count and Eve gets a 2 count on her. Another 2 count on Eve here. It’s all over the place as the Divas go at it. Eve fights off Maryse and Alicia but gets dropkicked. Alicia and Maryse double team Eve in the corner. Gail comes in and gets a nice submission on Alicia from mid-air. At the same time, Eve locks an arm submission on Maryse. Gail stops and breaks Eve’s submission. Gail with another submission on Maryse. Alicia breaks this and puts her own submission on Maryse.

More submission holds here. Maryse fights off Gail. She dumps Eve and Gail over the ropes. Alicia and Maryse have words now. Alicia shoves Maryse and they go at it. Maryse drops Alicia with a kick for a 2 count. Eve comes in for Maryse but Gail dropkicks them both. Gail spears Maryse in the corner and hits a dropkick from the top. 2 count for Gail. Gail hits Eve in the corner also and fights off Alicia. Gail gets dropped on the ring apron. Eve and Maryse go at it now. Eve counters and hits a neckbreaker. Eve hits a moonsault from the top for a 2 count when Alicia breaks the pin up. Alicia drops Eve, steals the pin and pins Maryse for the win and the title.

Winner and New WWE Divas Champion: Alicia Fox

– We go backstage with Rey Mysterio and Big Show walks up. Rey says he is going to become World Champion again tonight. Big Show says Rey is a man of faith but some obstacles are too big for him. Show says they are friends and he respects him but if he has to knock everyone out tonight to win, including Rey, he will. Rey says as big as Show’s fist is, his heart is bigger. Big Show goes to talk and the segment cuts off.

Chris Jericho vs. Evan Bourne

We go to the ring where Chris Jericho comes out for an un-announced match. Jericho takes the mic and says that everyone over 25 knows he is the reason they still watch WWE and anyone under 25 is the reason they watch now. Jericho says now he is no longer the hot topic of WWE. He says even Wade Barrett is getting more attention than he is. Jericho says himself hasn’t been making an impact lately. Jericho says he has always been the underdog and now he’s at the top of the mountain and everyone wants to knock him off. Jericho says he is the most important performer on this roster and the greatest Champion of any generation. Jericho says Evan Bourne is trying to make a name off his. Jericho says he challenged Bourne to a rematch from RAW for tonight. Jericho says Bourne’s career is going to fade out tonight. Out comes Evan Bourne to a nice pop.

The bell rings and they go at it. Jericho works Bourne over out of the corner and taunts him. Jericho misses a clothesline and Bourne takes him down with a head scissors. 2 count by Bourne. Bourne continues the offense until Jericho hits a big clothesline. 2 count by Jericho. Jericho works Bourne over some more in the corner. Jericho chants from the crowd now. Jericho misses a running attack and ends up on the floor. Bourne leaps high in the air and lands on Jericho. The ref begins to count as they come back in the ring. Jericho with a shot to the chest and a dropkick off the ropes.

Bourne falls to the floor and Jericho comes out after him. They come back in the ring with Jericho in control. Bourne comes back with kicks and chops but Jericho dropkicks him again for a 2 count. Jericho with a big kick to the back and a headlock on the mat. Bourne counters a move and starts kicking Jericho. Bourne with a kick to the jaw. Bourne knocks Jericho back into the corner, dropkicks him and gets a 2 count. Bourne with more kicks. Jericho ducks one and hits a nice dragon suplex for a 2 count.

Bourne drops Jericho for a 2 count. They go back and forth. Jericho counters a roll-up and locks on the Walls of Jericho. Bourne fights out and makes it to the ropes to break the hold. Jericho argues with the ref while Bourne recovers. Jericho knocks Bourne off the apron and back onto the floor. Jericho slams Bourne’s head into the announcers table. Jericho runs but Bourne counters and sends Jericho head-first into the steel steps. They both get back in the ring. Bourne hits the knees from up top for a close 2 count.

Bourne with more kicks. Jericho counters, drops Bourne on his knee and gets a 2 count. Jericho misses the Lionsault and Bourne kicks him in the face. Bourne goes for the Shooting Star Press but takes too long. He misses. Jericho hits the Codebreaker but only gets a 2 count. Jericho is yelling at Bourne to stay down. They go back and forth now. Bourne with a 2 count. Jericho goes for the Walls again. Bourne grabs Jericho’s neck and turns it into a tornado DDT. Bourne goes to the top but Jericho stops him. Bourne tries again but Jericho stops him again. Jericho goes for a superplex but Bourne knocks him to the mat. Bourne hits the Air Bourne on Jericho’s back for the pinfall and the win.

Winner: Evan Bourne

– We get promo videos for the World Heavyweight Title match, mainly Kane’s revenge on everyone for what happened to The Undertaker.

Fatal 4 Way for the World Heavyweight Title: CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show vs. Jack Swagger

We go to the ring and out first for the next match comes Big Show, smiling and slapping hands with the fans. CM Punk’s music hits next and the fans pop. Out comes Punk, Serena and Luke Gallows. Out next comes Rey Mysterio to a nice pop, followed by the World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger.

We get formal ring introductions for the title match before the bell rings. They go at it. Show knocks everyone down and chops Swagger. Punk jumps on Show’s back. Show and Swagger go at it while Rey and Punk go at it. Rey dumps Punk out to the floor. Show tosses Swagger over the top. Rey and Show face off in the ring. My cable goes out for a minute. When it comes back on, Swagger is working on Rey’s knees in the ring. Belly to belly suplex by Swagger for a 2 count on Rey. Swagger works on Rey on the mat now. Rey fights out of a submission and drops Swagger on the ropes. Rey goes for 619 but Punk comes in with a crossbody for 2.

Punk throws Swagger to the floor and works on Rey in the corner. Punk with a backbreaker and a 2 count. Swagger comes to the apron and Punk goes at it with him. They trade shots in the ring now. Punk keeps Rey in one corner and Swagger in the other. High knee by Punk on Swagger. Rey blocks a high knee. Punk goes for a back suplex on Rey. Swagger comes over and double back suplexes both of them. 2 counts on Rey and then Punk. Swagger goes for the gutwrench powerbomb on Punk but gets kicked in the head. Rey goes for 619 on Punk but Show grabs him and throws him headfirst on the outside. Show comes in the ring and unloads on Punk and Swagger. Show hits splashes and a big double clothesline. Show is left standing in the ring. He goes outside and brings Punk in. Rey hits a 619 around the ringpost on Show. Punk comes over and takes out Show on the floor. Rey hits a senton on Swagger but gets kicked out of mid-air. Punk comes in and nails the GTS on Swagger. Kane’s music hits and out he comes.

Kane pushes the casket to ringside and hits the ring. Kane shoves Punk out and chokeslams him into the casket. Kane tries to shut the casket door but Punk puts his leg up. Luke Gallows comes down and drops Kane. Gallows helps Punk to the back. Kane chases off after them. In the ring, Mysterio hits 619 on Swagger and the senton for the pinfall, the win and the World Heavyweight Title.

Winner and New World Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio

– We go backstage with Josh Matthews and WWE Champion John Cena. A bit of a mixed reaction for Cena’s name. Matthews asks Cena if he’s worried about the NXT Rookies tonight. Cena says the Rookies have solidified the line between us vs. them. Cena says they are ready for the Rookies to show up tonight. Cena likes to think the RAW stars have an unspoken agreement that they will stand united against the Rookies. Matthews asks about Cena’s Fatal 4 Way match tonight. Cena says he isn’t going out there to lose but anything can happen in a Fatal 4 Way. Cena says whoever leaves WWE Champion tonight is going to have to earn it.

WWE United States Title Match: R-Truth vs. The Miz

WWE’s United States Champion The Miz comes out first and takes a mic. Miz talks about R-Truth coming out rapping next. Miz says he re-wrote the lyrics. Truth’s instrumental plays and Miz raps his own lyrics, replacing “What’s Up?” to “The Miz.” Miz is rapping about himself here. R-Truth is out next, rapping and dancing to the ring.

The bell rings and they go at it. Truth knocks Miz down with a shoulder and they have words. They lock up again and go back and forth. A “Miz is Awful” chant breaks up. They run the ropes and Truth knocks him down. Miz goes to the floor. Truth comes out and knocks Miz down again. Truth brings it back in the ring and gets a 2 count. Miz comes back with some kicks and knocks Trth to the mat. Miz stomps on Truth and there isn’t much going on here.

Miz applies a hold but Truth fights out. Truth hits a big hip toss. They fight on the apron now. Truth slams Miz into the turnbuckle and drops him with a right hand. Truth turns around and Miz pushes him off the apron and to the floor. The referee begins to count. Truth comes back in at 9 and Miz starts stomping away. Truth gets up and Miz comes back fighting in the corner. Miz beats Truth down in the corner. The referee checks on Truth again and asks him if he can compete. Miz charges in the corner with the clothesline and gets a 2 count. Miz with a body scissors now.

More back and forth here. Miz drops Truth with a knee to the ribs and puts his foot down on Truth’s head. Truth fights back now but Miz drops him with a shoulder. Miz with another submission hold. Truth fights back again and backdrops Miz. Truth with a 2 count. Miz with more kicks on Truth and a suplex. More of the same in this match with punches and kicks. Truth drops Miz on his face for a 2 count. Miz goes for a superplex from the top but Truth knocks him off. Truth with a dropkick from the top. Boring chants in the crowd. Truth hits two clotheslines and drops Miz on his face again. Truth hits the Flatliner but only gets a 2 count. Truth hits a nice suplex into a stunner but still only gets a 2 count. Truth charges but Miz drops him over the ropes. Miz hits a nice backbreaker and neckbreaker combo for a 2 count. Miz misses the running clothesline in the corner and gets stuck. Truth hits a scissors kick on Miz. This match is just dragging on. 2 count by Truth. Another 2 count by Truth. Miz throws Truth to the apron. Truth goes to the top rope. Miz comes up to the top with him. Truth knocks him to the mat. Truth misses a crossbody. Miz comes in but Truth rolls him up for a 2 count. Miz misses a kick to the face and Truth rolls him up for another 2 count. Truth counters a move and goes for a roll-up but Miz stops the roll-up and pins Truth for the win. Finally.

Winner: The Miz

– We go backstage to Todd Grisham and Edge. Grisham asks him about the main event tonight. Edge talks about Sheamus, Randy Orton and John Cena’s state of minds tonight. Edge brings up Orton’s injury. Edge says there’s only one thing going on in his head – walking away tonight as the WWE Champion.

The Hart Dynasty vs. The Usos and Tamina

We go to the ring and out come WWE’s Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty with their partner Natalya Neidhart. The Uso brothers with Tamina are out next. The bell rings and Natalya starts out with Tamina. They go at it good with back and forth action. Tamina tags in Jey Uso and in comes David Hart Smith. Smith takes Uso to the mat for a 2 count. Uso fights back and they go into more back and forth. 2 count by Smith again. Smith on the offense now. Big belly to belly suplex for a 2 count. Smith puts Jey in the corner in a tree of woe and tags in Tyson Kidd for some double teaming. Tyson with a 2 count.

Lots of back and forth action. I believe the other Uso is tagged in, maybe not. Tyson gets thrown to the floor. Uso goes for dive on him from the ring but Tyson kicks him in the head. Tyson back in the ring with a 2 count now. Nice moves here by Tyson as he fights off both Usos on the apron. Uso ends up on the floor. Tyson jumps on his back but gets caught. Jimmy Uso hits a Samoan Drop on Kidd into the fan barrier. Uso goes back in and tags in Jey. 2 count on Kidd. Kidd fights out of a headlock now but gets dropkicked by Jey. Another 2 count.

More offense from Uso here. A couple of 2 counts on Kidd. Kidd gets suplexed and put in a chinlock by Uso. Uso brings Kidd to the corner and tags in his brother for some double teaming. 2 count on Kidd. Another tag. Jimmy goes to the top and drops a big knee on Kidd. 2 count by Jimmy. Kidd continues to take offense from the Usos as Tamina laughs. Uso goes for another Rikishi splash in the corner but Kidd moves. Kidd goes for a tag but Jey knocks Smith off the apron. Kidd drops Uso. Natalya and Tamina come in and go at it. Natalya with a big elbow and a snap suplex. Another suplex by Natalya. Dropkick to the back by Natalya. Natalya with a Michonoku driver and a 2 count as Uso breaks the pin. Smith comes over and knocks Uso to the floor. Tyson leaps onto the floor and lands on Smith and both Usos. Natalya and Tamina go at it. Tamina hits a Samoan Drop and climbs to the top. Tamina misses the big splash from the top as Natalya moves. Natalya with a big spinning clothesline for the pinfall and the win.

Winners: Natalya, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith

Fatal 4 Way for the WWE Title: Randy Orton vs. Edge vs. Sheamus vs. John Cena

We go to the ring for the final match of the night at 10:08pm EST as Randy Orton makes his way out to the ring to a big pop. Out next is Edge followed by Sheamus. Out last is the WWE Champion John Cena and he gets a big pop also from the crowd. They do formal ring introductions and here we go.

The bell rings and they all go at it. Edge and Sheamus get dumped to the floor. It’s Orton and Cena in the ring. They face off and the crowd gets behind it. Orton swings but Cena ducks. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment but Orton counters. Orton goes for an RKO but Edge pulls him to the floor and they fight on the floor. Sheamus decks Cena and they go at it in the ring. Sheamus beats down Cena in the corner and in comes Edge. They double team Cena now

The beatdown on Cena continues. The crowd is great with dueling chants of some kind here. Sheamus drops Cena with a big clothesline and poses. Edge rolls Sheamus up from behind for a 2 count. Sheamus and Edge go at it. We see the RAW stars watching the match on a screen backstage. Edge puts a boot in Sheamus’ face and hits a clothesline off the second rope. 2 count for Edge. Cena comes back but Edge throws him high over the top rope and to the floor. Edge goes to the top but Orton comes in and knocks him down. Orton stomps on Sheamus and goes back to Edge, punching him on the top. Orton goes to the top but Sheamus hits him from behind. Sheamus tries to powerbomb Orton out of the corner but Orton fights him off. Edge goes for a crossbody but lands on Sheamus for a 2 count. Edge ducks an Orton clothesline and kicks Sheamus to the floor. Orton sends Edge out and he’s left alone in the ring. Cena comes up to the apron and Orton suplexes him in.

Orton starts stomping on Cena and working the various body parts. Dueling “Let’s go Cena” and “Cena sucks” chants here it sounds like. Sheamus comes in and decks Orton. Sheamus and Cena trade blows but Cena counters and knocks Sheamus back into the corner. Cena with a fisherman’s suplex. Cena goes for the AA but Sheamus counters. Sheamus hits the Irish Curse backbreaker for a 2 count.

Sheamus misses a spear from Edge. Cena with a rollup. Orton comes in and clotheslines Sheamus. Orton brings Sheamus and Cena back in the ring with the double second-rope DDT. Orton with a 2 count on Sheamus. Edge comes in and kicks Orton in the head. It’s Edge and Cena in the ring now. Edge goes for a spear but Cena moves. Cena with the bulldog and a shoulder block now. Cena with the big backdrop and the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Edge.

Orton comes in and lays out Cena, dropping him on his neck. Orton with a clothesline and a powerslam on Edge. Orton gets hype now. Sheamus comes in with a kick but Orton ducks it. Sheamus throws Orton to the floor and starts stomping on Edge. Cena comes back in the mix now but Sheamus works him over. Cena dumps Sheamus over the rope and to the floor. Cena drops Edge with a right. Cena brings Sheamus to the apron but Orton pulls Sheamus down and he hits the apron. Cena goes down as well. Edge knocks Orton off the apron. Edge turns around and Cena locks the STF.

Edge crawls to the ropes but Cena pulls him back and reapplies the hold. Sheamus comes in the ring and breaks the hold. Sheamus covers Edge for 2. Sheamus works over Cena on the apron now with elbows to the neck. Sheamus dominates the match now with everyone laid out. Sheamus goes to slam Edge but Edge counters. Cena goes for the AA on Edge but he blocks it. Orton hits the RKO on Cena and gets a 2 count as Sheamus runs in and pushes the referee. Cole says this is No DQ. Orton kicks Sheamus out of the ring. Orton turns around to a spear from Edge. Sheamus comes in and hits the big kick to Edge’s face. Sheamus with a 2 count on Orton.

Edge pulls Orton’s leg and brings him out to the floor. Orton drops Edge. Sheamus charges Orton and Orton throws him into the announcer’s table. Orton goes for an RKO on Edge but he blocks it. Edge spears Orton into the fan barrier. We see the RAW stars watching the match backstage. All of a sudden they get attacked by the NXT Rookies. It’s The Harts, Evan Bourne and R-Truth. The Rookies destroy the set and trash the TV. They head to the ring it looks like.

Cena is the only man standing in the ring. Apparently Michael Cole went down when Orton threw Sheamus into the table. Lawler helps Cole now. The NXT Rookies invade the arena and start trashing things. They hit the ring and Cena nails Darren Young with the AA. The rest of the Rookies come in the ring and start the beatdown. Edge pulls some to the floor but they beat him down too. The rookies stomp Edge down. In the ring, Sheamus takes advantage and pins Cena for the quick win and the WWE Title.

Winner and New WWE Champion: Sheamus

- As soon as the bell rings, Sheamus runs off through the crowd as the new WWE Champion. Cena stands up in the ring and the Rookies begin to lay him out with their finishers. Gabriel even hits the 450 Splash. We see Sheamus on top of the stage posing with the WWE Title. The Rookes run off after him to the back. We see Orton, Edge and Cena all laid out. There has been no commentary for a long time now. Fatal 4 Way goes off the air at 10:35 EST time with Cena laid out in the ring and Edge and Orton on the outside.

SMACKDOWN SPOILERS 6/18

Smackdown starts with CM Punk gloating about making Taker tap and his vegetative state. Suddenly the lights flicker and go dark and Undertaker appears in the ring! Punk cowers until he pokes Taker and reveals him as Luke Gallows. They laugh until Kane hits the scene, but Swagger blindsides him. Four-on-one as the masked SES member joins, until Mysterio and Big Show make the save. SES runs and they end up giving Kane a 619 and chokeslam respectively for last week.

Vance Archer and Curt Hawkins def. MVP and Christian. Not much to note. Hawkins with an elbow drop on Christian to win after breaking up a Killswitch. Beatdown on MVP post-match.

Rosa wants in Laycool and they mock her for only winning on Superstars and wearing Joker’s makeup. Poor Kaval standing by.

Vickie has Dolph Ziggler in jean shorts and a toolbelt to hang a picture for her. She checks out his rear and yells at Chavo. Masters walks in and walks right back out.

JTG def. Chavo with his running neckbreaker. Post-match JTG hamms it up with the crowd and brings in three kids to dance with him. Crowd loves it.

Kofi tells Josh Matthews he’ll bring McIntyre a fight on Sunday. Drew vs. Kofi for the title Sunday.

Drew McIntyre enters to face Teddy Long. Teddy’s music hits but he doesn’t show until Drew reminds him of the consequences. Drew brought a personal security force with him. This was really long and drawn out and had Drew’s mic die on him, but it was effective. Basically Drew forced Teddy, in full suit, to get on his knees, call Drew the Chosen One, and lie down for the three count. After Drew won the match he stopped Teddy and was about to Scot Drop him until Kofi came out for the save. He got caught by security and Drew pounded him until Matt Hardy ran in from the crowd to attack him. Security got at Matt too and Drew ended up giving them both Scot Drops in the middle of the ring. Doesn’t come off on TV well but Drew got a lot of heat.

Kelly Kelly def. Layla with the K2. They actually showed some athleticism.

Vickie came out to massive heat that only got worse. It really gets to a point where you can’t hear her introduce Ziggler.

Dolph Ziggler def. Chris Masters after the Zig Zag. Masters dominated until he went for a front slam and Dolph quickly locked the Sleeper. He later broke a Masterlock on the ropes and kicked Masters in the shin to set up the Zig Zag.

Jack Swagger dedicates his win on Sunday, Father’s day, to his dad.

Main event saw Big Show and Rey Mysterio beat CM Punk and Jack Swagger. Mysterio got double-teamed until he made the hot tag to Show. Chokeslam reversed into a DDT and Show tagged back out. Mysterio reversed a Pump-Handle Slam attempt by Swagger into a sort of Backstabber for the win.

Post-match Kane chokeslammed everyone but gave a Tombstone Piledriver to Rey. He got on the mic and promised Sunday would be “fatal.” Then he did Undertaker’s kneel and an open casket on the stage was surrounded by plumes of fire. Kane left the open casket and walked out to end the show.

RAW AS ON JUNE 14

Tonight’s RAW kicks off with a recap video of the NXT invasion angle last week. There is some footage of Daniel Bryan but none of the tie incident with Justin Roberts.

– WE go to the arena where Wade Barrett is standing in the ring. The crowd boo’s him big time. Barrett introduces himself, for those that don’t know him, he says. Barrett says he’s in the ring now because RAW’s GM Bret Hart demanded that he come and apologize for his actions last week. Barrett invites the rest of the Season 1 Rookies to the ring and out they come, through the crowd. There is no sign of Daniel Bryan.

Cole and Lawler get up and walk away as they feel uncomfortable. Barrett asks Heath Slater to apologize first. He says no, he would do it again. Barrett asks Justin Gabriel next. He won’t apologize either. Barrett asks Skip Sheffield next and he has on apologies and no regrets. Barrett asks Tarver if he’s feeling apologetic. Tarver said the look of fear on everyone’s face made his dreams and there’s nobody in WWE who can make him apologize. Barrett asks Darren Young to apologize and he says no chance. Barrett asks David Otunga next. Otunga says after the way they were treated, WWE needs to apologize to them. Barrett says it’s unanimous, no apologies. Barrett says they were treated like animals on NXT and now they’re behaving like animals.

Barrett says WWE officials tried to make a joke out of them but after RAW last week, nobody was laughing. Barrett says they destroyed RAW last week and impressed everyone. Bret Hart’s music hits and out comes the General Manager. Bret says they all look pretty proud of themselves. Bret says 8 guys on 1 makes you a coward, not tough. Wade Barrett brings up Daniel Bryan and says he had remorse like Bret does. Barrett says this is why you will never see Daniel Bryan again. Barrett says they have no problem with anyone in the WWE locker room, it’s between them and management. Barrett says it’s time to get down to business. He has a WWE contract and a WWE Title shot at a pay-per-view of his choosing. Barrett says the other Rookies have demands.

Otunga takes the mic and says they all want guaranteed WWE contracts, their own private dressing rooms and first-class travel accommodations. Otunga says if WWE fails to comply with even one of their demands, last week will be just the beginning. Barrett reminds Bret that Vince McMahon told him weeks ago that he would have tough choices as RAW GM and this is one of them. Barrett says he and the Rookies are young polished athletes who are ready to fight. He says Bret could change history by giving them contracts. Bret’s answer for them is no. The crowd likes this. Bret says he isn’t signing any of them. Barrett interrupts and says Bret is making a big mistake. Bret says they are the ones making big mistakes. Bret says Barrett can forget about getting a WWE Title shot on pay-per-view because… you’re fired. Bret fires Barrett. Bret tells the rest of them to get out of the ring now or he will call police and have them removed for trespassing. Bret says they are all done.

The Rookies just stand in the ring. Sheffield says it’s their time and they’re not leaving. We go to commercial.

Fatal 4 Way Match for the WWE US Title: R-Truth vs. John Morrison vs. Zack Ryder vs. The Miz

Back from the break and we’ve got a Fatal Four Way match for the WWE United States Title. Out first comes the United States Champion, R-Truth, who is from Charlotte. Out next comes John Morrison followed by Zack Ryder and finally The Miz. The bell rings and Ryder goes at it with Morrison while Truth and Miz go at it. Morrison dumps Ryder to the floor and dropkicks Miz. It’s down to Morrison and Truth. They lock up and go back and forth. Truth with a 2 count.

Ryder comes in and takes out Truth. He comes over the top rope onto Truth but lands on the floor. Miz comes over and takes out Ryder. Miz and Morrison go at it on the apron. Morrison powerbombs Miz from the apron onto Ryder and the floor. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Morrison lays out Miz for a 2 count. Another 2 count by Morrison. Morrison drops Ryder on the top rope and they fight it out in the corner. Morrison goes for a superplex but Ryder blocks it. Truth comes over and powerbombs them both off the top. Truth covers Miz for a 2 count. Truth goes for three more consecutive pin attempts. Truth beats down Miz and Ryder then drops Morrison on his face. Truth hits the scissors kick on Ryder for a 2 count as Miz makes the save. Miz clears the ring and it’s him with Ryder. Miz hits a big clothesline in the corner on Ryder. Miz goes to the floor and Morrison drops him with a huge clothesline. Truth hits the flying forearm on Ryder in the ring but only gets 2 as Morrison breaks the pin. Morrison and Truth go at it. They dump Miz to the floor. Morrison misses a springboard attack. Truth hits a nice cutter type move for a 2 count as Ryder stops it.

Ryder hits the Ruff Ryder on Truth for a 2 count. Morrison makes the save and dumps Ryder. Morrison hits Starship Pain on Truth. Miz comes over and throws Morrison out of the ring. Miz covers Truth for the pinfall, the win and the title.

– We go backstage with Josh Matthews and Randy Orton. He asks Orton about the status of his shoulder for Sunday’s Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view. Orton says anything can happen in a fatal four way, just wait and see. Josh asks Orton his thoughts on last week’s NXT invasion. Orton says part of him has to respect the Rookies but an even bigger part of him thinks they’re nothing but a bunch of punks. Orton says they deserve to be fired or beaten up. We go to commercial.

– Back from the break and we get a preview of Big Show on this Thursday’s Royal Pains on USA Network. Show and Royal Pains star Mark Feuerstein are tonight’s RAW hosts. We go backstage with Mark and The Bella Twins. Mark says the Bellas would be perfect fits for his TV show. He plugs Thursday’s show with Big Show. Ted DiBiase walks in with Virgil. Ted says he might have a brand new car for Mark if he makes him co-host of RAW tonight. Mark says he has integrity and tells Ted no. Big Show appears behind Virgil and Ted as Mark insults Ted. Ted tells Virgil to handle it and they finally see Big Show. Show proposes himself and Feuerstein vs. Virgil and Ted in a tag team match. It’s agreed on and Ted walks off with Virgil. Mark jumps into Big Show’s arm and it confuses The Bella Twins, who walk off.

– We see John Cena walking backstage as we take another commercial break.

Chris Jericho vs. Evan Bourne

Back from the break and out comes Chris Jericho to the ring. Out next comes his opponent, Evan Bourne. The bell rings and Jericho unloads on Bourne. Bourne counters with a headscissors and a dropkick to the face. Bourne with a 2 count. Bourne kicks at Jericho. The announcers play up Jericho’s losing streak and how he’s been upset. Jericho fights back and backdrops Bourne, taunting him. Jericho chokes Bourne in the ropes. Jericho with a headlock now.

Bourne fights back with kicks and a big flying kick. Bourne with a sunset flip but Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho. Bourne counters and rolls Jericho up for a close 2 count. Jericho hits the Codebreaker but Bourne kicks out at 2. Jericho wails away on Bourne now with kicks and punches. The referee tries to get him off. Jericho pulls his fist back at the referee and is disqualified.

Winner by DQ: Evan Bourne

– After the match, Jericho is pissed. He goes to bring Bourne into the ring for an attack but Bourne kicks him in the head. Bourne nails Air Bourne from the top and celebrates with his music.

– Lawler says that John Cena will be out next to address what happened last week. We go to commercial.

– Back from commercial and out comes the WWE Champion John Cena. Cena says he was given the night off tonight by Bret Hart but after what happened last week, he has to handle things the only way he knows how. Cena thanks Bret for not caving in to the Rookies’ demands. Cena says some of him admires what the Rookies did last week. Cena says their plan was almost brilliant. He says their problem is with WWE management but they solved it by taking RAW away from the WWE Universe. Cena says they just made themselves 5 million new enemies. Cena says they destroyed a WWE ring, which is considered sacred ground. Cena says all WWE Superstars want the Rookies’ heads on plates. Cena says Wade Barrett was fired but that doesn’t solve anything. Cena says the Rookies aren’t worried about getting arrested. Cena says they’ve been thrown out tonight and he knows they’re not in the arena, but he is. Cena says he is going to Fatal 4 Way and will be on RAW the next night. Cena says he will demand every night that the Rookies come out and end this. Cena says they have all been fired from WWE but he will not press charges if they fight. The Rookies start coming through the crowd and stand at ringside behind the fan barrier.

The Rookies come over the barrier at ringside. William Regal, Santino Marella, R-Truth, Jerry Lawler and Evan Bourne come to the ring. They all come to the ring. Mark Henry comes down and gets involved. Randy Orton comes down next. Edge comes down and spears Barrett on the floor. The WWE Superstars are winning the fight. Sheamus comes down with a steel pipe and fights them off. The Rookies start retreating through the crowd. Santino punches them as they go over the barrier. The Rookies run off out of the arena with Santino and Truth chasing them. We go backstage where Henry, Orton and the other Superstars are chasing the Rookies out of the arena and into the parking lot. We go to commercial.

– Back from the break and we get a replay of the WWE Superstars chasing the NXT Rookies out of the building. Justin Roberts catches up with Sheamus backstage and asks him why he helped John Cena just now. Sheamus says he’s not letting the Rookies hurt his WWE Title match and if anyone is going to take out Cena, it’s going to be him.

– We get a replay of the Divas Battle Royal at last week’s Viewer’s Choice RAW.

Eve Torres and Gail Kim vs. Alicia Fox and Maryse

We go to the ring where the WWE Divas Champion Eve makes her way out. Out next is her partner, Gail Kim. Alicia Fox is out next followed by her partner Maryse. It’s announced these four will compete at the Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view for Eve’s title. Eve and Maryse start the match off and go at it. Maryse backs Eve into the ropes but gets kicked. Eve drops Maryse but gets hit in the back of the head by Alicia. Eve turns around to a spin kick from Maryse and a 2 count.

Alicia comes in and they double team Eve some. Alicia with a bridged suplex for a 2 count. Alicia rubs her knee into Eve’s face now. Alicia with a headlock. Maryse comes back in and continues to beat up Eve. Alicia comes right back in on a tag and knocks Gail off the apron. Alicia rams Eve back into the corner and Maryse tries to choke her. Alicia accidently kicks Maryse to the floor. Eve hits a neckbreaker on Alicia for the win.

– Lawler announces that it will be John Cena and Randy Orton vs. Sheamus and Edge in the main event tonight. The Miz vs. R-Truth is announced for Fatal 4 Way. We see Big Show and Mark Feuerstein backstage getting ready as we go to commercial.

Big Show and Mark Feuerstein vs. Ted DiBiase and Virgil

Back from the commercial and out comes Big Show first. Big Show takes the mic and introduces who he calls his best friend. His partner, actor Mark “Main Event” Feuerstein is out next. Out next comes Virgil and Ted DiBiase, who is wearing the Million Dollar belt. Show and Ted start the match off. Ted goes behind Show to start but Show fights him off and drops him with a headbutt. Show puts his weight down in Ted’s face in the corner. Big chops by Show.

Show picks Ted back up and gives him another huge chop in the corner. Ted hits a thumb to the eye and goes to work on Show. Show knocks Ted back into the corner. Ted tags in Virgil. Virgil goes to the floor but Show pulls him in the ring by his head. Virgil rolls back out to the floor holding his back. Virgil tries to leave but Feuerstein throws him back in the ring. Show bodyslams Virgil again and it looks like it hurts. Show walks over Virgil’s chest and throws him into the corner. Show nails huge chops on Virgil. Show hits Virgil with a big chokeslam and tags in Feuerstein. He does the worm and then drops a big winding elbow on Virgil. Ted just looks on as Feuerstein covers Virgil for the win.

Winners: Big Show and Mark Feuerstein

– After the match, Show and Feuerstein celebrate going up the ramp. Ted stands over Virgil looking disappointed. Ted goes to leave the ring while Virgil is laid out but he stops. Ted takes a $100 bill and stuffs it into Virgil’s mouth. Ted goes to leave again but stops again. Ted goes back and picks up the $100 bill, then leaves the ring with his Million Dollar belt. We go to commercial.

William Regal vs. Santino Marella

Back from the break and Santino Marella is in the ring with William Regal. The special guest referee is introduced next and it is… Vladimir Kozlov. Kozlov takes off his robe to reveal a referee shirt. Kozlov yells for the bell and here we go. Santino stalls to start the match. He tries a slow back kick and Regal drops him with a right. Regal drops a knee on Santino and slams him back down. Regal works on Santino’s arm now.

Santino turns a backdrop into a roll-up and Kozlov is slow to get down to the mat. Kozlov counts the 1-2-3 and Santino gets the win, with a handful of trunks it looks like.

Winner: Santino Marella

– After the match, Regal argues with Kozlov. Bret Hart’s music hits and he asks Kozlov, Regal and Santino to join him on the stage. Bret says he has asked all the RAW Superstars to join him on the stage so history doesn’t repeat itself. The entire RAW roster, except for Cena, Sheamus, Edge and Orton, comes out on the stage to stand with Bret. We get a graphic for the main event and go back to commercial.

Edge and Sheamus vs. Randy Orton and John Cena

Back from the break and the entire RAW roster is on the stage. Out first comes Edge followed by his partner Sheamus. Out first for his team comes Randy Orton to a nice reaction. Finally out comes the WWE Champion John Cena to a big pop. Mark Henry and The Great Khali salute Cena as he stops on the stage. Cena starts the match off with Sheamus.

Cena puts a headlock on Sheamus and they go to the mat. Sheamus gets to the ropes and Cena has to break the hold. Sheamus goes for a kick but Cena dodges it. Cena applies a full nelson but Sheamus gets to the ropes. Cena tags in Orton and Orton kicks Sheamus in the gut and applies a headlock of his own. Orton takes Sheamus to the mat hard. Sheamus comes back and knocks Orton into the corner. Edge is tagged in now. Edge works Orton over until Orton fights back. Orton goes for the RKO but Edge counters and slides out to the floor. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Cena is going at it with Edge. Cena with a fisherman’s suplex and a 2 count. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment but Edge counters and misses a clothesline. Cena clotheslines Edge and goes for a cover but Edge is on the ropes. Cena knocks Edge out to the floor. Edge comes back in and drops Cena’s neck over the ropes. Edge tags in Sheamus for a bit of double teaming. Sheamus stomps away on Cena now. Sheamus drops Cena with a right hand for a 2 count. Sheamus hits a running knee to Cena’s jaw and lays him out. Sheamus distracts the ref while Edge chokes Cena. Sheamus stomps on Cena in the corner now and tags back in Edge.

Edge continues the attack on Cena. Cena counters a suplex and hits a suplex of his own on Edge. Sheamus is tagged in again. He stops Cena from tagging in Orton. Sheamus chops Cena in the chest on the apron and Cena falls to the floor. The referee is distracted as Edge stomps Cena on the floor. Sheamus comes out and rams Cena back into the fan barrier. Sheamus brings Cena back into the ring and covers him for a 2 count. Sheamus hits Cena with a big clothesline for another 2 count. Sheamus applies an arm submission now but Cena fights back to his feet. Sheamus tightens the hold and drops to the mat with his arms locked around Cena’s neck. Cena gets to his feet with Sheamus on his back. Cena walks to Orton with Sheamus on his back but can’t make it as Sheamus drops back to the mat for a 2 count. Edge comes in. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment but Edge counters it. Edge gets ready for a spear now. Edge charges but Cena moves out of the way and Edge hits the turnbuckle. Sheamus and Orton come in at the same time. Orton with clotheslines and a big scoop slam. Orton kicks Sheamus and brings him back into the ring with the second rope DDT. Edge comes from behind on Orton but Orton hits the RKO on him. Orton turns around to a big kick to the face from Sheamus. Sheamus with a big backbreaker on Orton and a 2 count.

Sheamus drops knees on Orton now as the crowd chants RKO. Orton tries to fight back but Sheamus knocks him to the mat for another 2 count. Sheamus drags Orton back to the corner and tags in Edge for some double teaming. Edge wails away on Orton with right hands. Edge stomps and drops knees on Orton. Orton fights back on Sheamus and Edge. Sheamus hits the floor. Edge drops Orton and continues hitting him with rights. Orton finally tags in Cena and here he comes. The camera cuts backstage where the NXT Rookies are destroying everything. Barrett and Sheffield drag Bret Hart over. Otunga rips his shirt off. They load Bret into a black limousine and tell it to drive off. The limo speeds out in reverse, crashing into another limousine. The limo backs up and hits another limousine. It continues to back up and smash another car. The limo stops and the Rookies open the door, yelling at Bret. They tell the car to start again. It speeds up and continues to ram into other cars. The Rookies drag Bret out of the limousine and set him on the ground. Wade Barrett says they want an answer by Sunday about their contracts. The Rookies run off. RAW goes off the air with Bret Hart laid out up against the crashed limousine.

SPECULATION ON FATAL 4 WAY

There’s a lot of speculation regarding what’s going to happen with WWE’s Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view as the event is less than one week away and only two matches have been advertised – the WWE Title match and the World Heavyweight Title match.

There was some discussion about totally re-writing the pay-per-view after last week’s NXT invasion on RAW but there’s on word yet what they decided to do. It’s interesting to note that no guest host has been announced either for next Monday’s RAW from Bridgeport, Connecticut.

BETH PHEONIX ON SMACKDOWN, DARK MATCH FOR SMACKDOWN

The dark match after last night’s SmackDown tapings in Tampa Bay saw Big Show and Rey Mysterio defeat Jack Swagger and CM Punk in a steel cage match.


Beth Phoenix, who is currently out with injury, noted on Twitter that she was backstage at the SmackDown tapings in Florida last night. She wrote: “In attendance at Smackdown taping in Tampa for a great opportunity that I’m so thrilled about! Its an emotional visit.So hard to not work”

Dark Match:

* JTG beat Dos Caras with his finisher. Caras cut a heel promo for the match. Nice reaction for JTG.

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* SmackDown opens with recaps of Kane vowing revenge for The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio winning Taker’s spot in the Fatal 4 Way main event.

* Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger is first. Rey cuts a promo before the match but is interrupted by Jack Swagger, who has words with Rey. CM Punk is out next and says last night he fell victim to the NXT rookies. Punk says he will be a four-time World Champ at Fatal 4 Way. Rey dares Punk to take his mask off. Big Show comes out next and says he will win the Fatal 4 Way match. Big Show mocks Punk. Kane comes out and says it could be all of them who took out Taker and says there will be vengeance.

* Swagger vs. Rey finally takes place and it’s a good back and forth match. Rey wins after turning Swagger’s powerbomb into a 619. Afterward, Swagger beats up Rey until Kane comes down and cleans house of them both.

* Layla defeated Tiffany. Layla had Michelle McCool and Kaval at ringside with her, Kelly had Tiffany. LayCool cut a promo before the match. Layla got the win with distraction from McCool and a neckbreaker.

* Christian defeats Dolph Ziggler. Vickie introduced Ziggler and watched from ringside. Christian got the win with a roll-up but was attacked by Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer after the match. Dolph then put Christian to sleep and left with Vickie.

* Kane was shown with Undertaker’s casket. He said his soul is empty and he will take vengeance into hell.

* Drew McIntyre calls Teddy Long out. Drew shows a replay of Matt Hardy beating him on RAW. Drew says Hardy is suspended from all WWE shows. Drew gets in Teddy’s face but Kofi Kingston makes the save. Kofi and Drew fight until Kofi lays him out.

* Teddy is shown talking on the phone next. Drew comes into his office and says it’s Drew vs. Teddy on next week’s show. If Long loses, he will be fired from SmackDown, per orders from Vince McMahon.

* Big Show defeats CM Punk by DQ after the Straight Edge Society rushed the ring and attacked Big Show. Show tried several times to take Punk’s mask off. After the DQ, Kane came down and cleared the ring. SmackDown ends after Kane chokeslams Big Show.

RAW AS ON JUNE 7

Tonight’s three-hour RAW from Miami, Florida kicks off with General Managers Bret Hart and Teddy Long making their way to the ring to a nice pop. Michael Cole welcomes us to the first-ever Viewer’s Choice RAW. Teddy and Bret greet the fans as Jerry Lawler hypes the show.

Bret tells fans that fans can go to WWE’s website and vote on the matches & stipulations, as it happens, live. Teddy thanks Bret for inviting him to RAW tonight. Bret says that everyone involved in the WWE Title match at Fatal 4 Way will wrestle tonight and the fans will pick their opponents. Teddy brings up Randy Orton. Orton’s music hits and out he comes with his arm in a sling.

Orton tells Bret to forget about the Viewer’s Choice for a second. Orton says he has a choice for Bret. Orton wants Edge and wants him tonight. Orton says if Bret doesn’t give Edge to him, he’s going to find him backstage and do it himself. Orton says he’s going to take Edge out. Edge comes out on the stage and gets boo’d. Edge says to give Orton what he wants, so he can finish what he started. Teddy interrupts and whispers something in Bret’s ear. Bret says he likes that. Bret says they’re going to let the fans in the arena decide this one. Teddy says it’s going to be the fan’s choice… Edge vs. Randy Orton in a Debate, a Sit-Up Contest or a One-Arm Match with Edge’s arm tied behind his back. The fans pop at the last choice. Edge doesn’t like this. Bret runs down the choices again and the fans pop for the One-Arm Match. Edge screams that this isn’t fair to him. Bret says the people have spoken and wishes Edge good luck.

Teddy says it’s time for our first Viewer’s Choice match, Chris Jericho vs. Big Show. The options are an Over the Rope Challenge, a Submission Match or a Body Slam Challenge. Teddy tells the fans to go to WWE’s website right now and cast the votes. We get ready for a commercial break when Big Show’s music hits and out he comes to a nice pop. Show heads to the ring as we go to commercial.

Body Slam Challenge: Big Show vs. Chris Jericho

Back from the break and Big Show is waiting in the ring. We go to ringside where Matt Striker is waiting to reveal the stipulation for this match. The match will be… a Body Slam Challenge. Chris Jericho’s music hits and out he comes to the ring.

The bell rings and here we go. Show laughs at Jericho, who isn’t happy. Show opens his arms so Jericho can try to slam him. Jericho slaps Show. Show comes back and pushes him in the corner with big knife edge chops. Show goes for a splash in the corner but misses. Jericho tries to body slam Show but can’t. Show responds and beats Jericho down to the mat. Show goes for the Knockout Punch but Jericho slides out to the floor. Show grabs Jericho by his head and brings him to the apron. Jericho counters and comes in the ring trying to wear Jericho down. Jericho continues to work on Show’s right arm.

Show grabs Jericho by the throat and goes for a chokeslam. Jericho rakes the eyes and goes to the top. Show knocks Jericho out of mid-air with a big chop. Jericho goes for a crossbody but Show catches him in mid-air and holds him. Show finally body slams Jericho for the win.

Winner: Big Show

– After Show is announced the winner, he puts Jericho in a clutch submission hold and makes him tap out. Show is then announced as the winner by submission. Finally, Show throws Jericho over the top rope, making use of the other two stipulations that weren’t chosen.

– Cole announces that The Hart Dynasty will be in action next. The choices for their opponents are The Uso’s, The Dudebusters and the team of Hornswoggle & The Great Khali. We go backstage to The Uso’s who cut a promo on The Harts. The Dudebusters are up next and one of them votes on his cell phone. We go to Khali and Hornswoggle next. They both raise their arms and yell. The camera pans and we see all three tag teams waiting as we go to another commercial.

The Hart Dynasty vs. The Great Khali and Hornswoggle

Back from the break and WWE’s Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty, with Natalya, are waiting in the ring. We go to ringside with Matt Striker again. The fans voted and The Hart’s opponents will be… Hornswoggle and The Great Khali. Khali and Hornswoggle make their way to the ring.

It’s going to be Khali and Tyson Kidd starting things out. The bell rings and Tyson tries to kick Khali, and does. Tyson runs the ropes and Khali knocks him down. Khali takes Tyson into the corner and hits him with a big elbow and a huge chop. Khali scoop slams Kidd and tags in Hornswoggle. Hornswoggle goes to the top but misses the Tadpole Splash. David Hart Smith takes Khali out from the apron while Kidd rolls up Hornswoggle out of nowhere for the pinfall and the win.

Winners: The Hart Dynasty

– After the match, Natalya comes in to celebrate with Smith and Kidd. The Usos and Tamina rush the ring and all six go at it. The Harts send the Samoans out to the floor with clotheslines. The two groups talk trash as the Samoans back up the ramp.

– We go ringside with Cole and Lawler. Lawler says we have a problem and starts looking around for something. Lawler gets up and walks off. Cole tries to stop him but can’t. Cole starts talking about The Undertaker angle from SmackDown and leads us to a replay from Friday’s show.

- We get a graphic for tonight’s guest hosts, the cast of the A-Team movie, including UFC’s Rampage Jackson. Back to commercial break.

– Back from the break and Justin Roberts introduces the cast of the A-Team movie – Rampage Jackson, Bradley Cooper and Sharlto Copley. Cooper comes out by himself and says he doesn’t know where Rampage and Copley are. Cooper says we’re going to have fun tonight and that’s it.

– We see Jerry Lawler walking around backstage. Rampage and Copley, dressed as WWE crew members, take Lawler into a room. Lawler says someone has stolen his royal crown. Copley says they will find whoever stole his crown and “crown” whoever did it. Rampage says he watches RAW all the time and knows who stole King’s crown. They walk off. Rampage and Copley run into The Bella Twins. They call Rampage a MMA fighter and acknowledge Copley as an actor. They play it off and say they are their characters from the A-Team movie. Rampage and Copley run off to find King’s crown.

Vladimir Kozlov vs. Santino Marella

We go to the ring where Santino Marella makes his way out for a match with Vladimir Kozlov. The stipulations will be a Singles Match, an Arm Wrestling Match or a Dance Off. Voting is now on at WWE.com as we go back to commercial.

Back from commercial and out comes Vladimir Kozlov to the ring. An Arm Wrestling table is sitting at ringside. Matt Striker is in the ring and reveals the stipulation… a Dance Off. Dance music starts playing and it’s Santino up first. You can imagine what’s going on now. Kozlov is up next. Striker asks his opinions on Santino dancing. Kozlov wants a serious contender. He says he is stronger and faster. The music hits and Kozlov starts doing his version of the robot and the moonwalk. Kozlov dances around and some of the crowd seems to like it. Striker asks the fans for the winner and they all cheer for Kozlov.

Winner: Vladimir Kozlov

– After the match, Santino and Kozlov dance around a bit together. Santino tries to leap into Kozlov’s arms but Vladimir just shoves him to the mat. Kozlov bows and exits the ring as we go to commercial.

– We go backstage where all of the WWE Divas are waiting. Fans can vote now on a 6 on 6 Divas Match, a Divas Battle Royal or a Champion vs. Champion Match with Layla and Eve. We go to commercial.

– Back from the break and Jerry Lawler has finally came back to ringside. All of the WWE Divas come out to the stage as we await their match. Lawler is in the ring to reveal the match. The fans have voted and it will be… a Divas Battle Royal.

Divas Battle Royal: Eve, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Tiffany, Kelly Kelly, Jillian, Gail Kim, Layla, Maryse, Michelle McCool, Alicia Fox and Rosa

The SmackDown and RAW Divas make their way to the ring and the bell rings. As expected, they all start brawling. Rosa gets tossed out early. Tiffany and McCool are going at it until Layla comes over and eliminates Tiffany. Kelly goes at it with LayCool now while the Bellas work on Maryse. Alicia and Jillian are going at it. McCool eliminates Kelly. Alicia tries to eliminate Gail Kim but they both hit the floor. LayCool eliminate both of the Bellas. Eve clotheslines Layla and McCool and fights them off. Eve eliminates LayCool at the same time. It’s down to Eve, Maryse and Jillian. They double team the WWE Divas Champion. They eliminate Eve. Jillian high-fives Maryse and raises her hand, thinking they are both winners. Maryse takes advantage and eliminates Jillian to get the win.

Winner: Maryse

- We go ringside where Cole and Lawler hype tonight’s Viewer’s Choice theme, replaying highlights from matches in the first hour. Cole plugs the One-Arm Match between Randy Orton and Edge later on.

– We see Sheamus walking around backstage. Kane appears and stops him. Kane says even though Sheamus isn’t on SmackDown, he could have taken out The Undertaker. Sheamus says he wouldn’t be shy about taking Taker out, he would send a message to the entire world. Sheamus says he made sure everyone saw him take out Triple H – he doesn’t waste his time with sneak attacks. Sheamus says he doesn’t take kindly to false accusations from Kane. Kane says he doesn’t take kindly to liars like Sheamus. Kane says he hopes to see Sheamus real soon and walks off.

– Lawler plugs the next Viewer’s Choice match. Fans will get to pick Sheamus’ opponent and the choices are Mark Henry, Evan Bourne and Kane. We go to commercial.

Sheamus vs. Kane

Back from commercial and out comes Sheamus to the ring. We get a replay of Evan Bourne teaming with John Cena last week and pinning Sheamus. We go to ringside with Matt Striker. Striker announces Sheamus’ opponent and it will be… Kane, with 88% of the vote. Sheamus looks a bit worried as the pyro explodes and out comes Kane to the ring.

The bell rings and they go at it. Kane strikes first and throws Sheamus out to the floor. Kane follows and works over Sheamus on the fan barrier. Kane brings it back in the ring. He goes to the top but Sheamus knocks him off his feet. Sheamus grabs Kane from the top and hits a running powerslam for a 2 count. Sheamus stomps on Kane as we take a commercial break.

Back from the break and Sheamus takes down Kane for another 2 count. Kane pushes Sheamus into the ropes and hits him with a big boot to the face. Kane splashes Sheamus in the corner and drops him with the big side slam. Kane with a dropkick to the face and a 2 count. Kane goes for the chokeslam but Sheamus counters it. Kane goes for it again but it’s countered again. Sheamus drops an inverted DDT into a backbreaker and Kane goes down. Sheamus goes for the running kick but Kane catches him and throws him out to the floor. Sheamus comes back in the ring but Kane chokeslams him. Sheamus rolls out to the floor and the referee starts counting.

Sheamus goes to get back in the ring but decides not to. Sheamus heads to the back and is counted out.

Winner by Count Out: Kane

– We get a graphic hyping a match for later on involving John Cena. Later, fans will be able to vote for Cena’s opponent. The choices will be CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and Jack Swagger. Back to commercial.

– Back from commercial and we get a promo video for NXT season 1 winner Wade Barrett. We go backstage with Savannah and Barrett. She asks him what his thoughts on winning NXT are. Barrett says this is just the start of something better. Barrett says the winds of change are blowing in WWE. He tells Savannah to ask him in one week’s time as he will accomplish something that’s never been accomplished in WWE before.

– We go backstage with Ted DiBiase and Virgil. Ted says he should be running RAW. Rampage and Copley from A-Team walk in, posing as FBI agents. Rampage accuses Ted of having Lawler’s crown. Ted says he can buy anything he wants, why would he want a stupid crown. Ted asks Virgil to escort them out of the room. Rampage gets in Virgil’s face and threatens to punch him in the face until he tells the truth. Mike “IRS” Rotundo walks in and has Lawler’s crown on. IRS says Lawler never paid taxes on the crown so it’s his now. Ted says he knows who Rampage and Copley are and they aren’t FBI agents. Gas starts filling up the room. Ted, Virgil and IRS break out gas masks and Rampage ducks. It looks like Copley passes out. Really.

– We get a graphic for the next match. It will be R-Truth and a partner taking on The Miz and a partner. The choices for Truth’s partner are Christian, MVP or John Morrison. The choices for Miz’s partner are Zack Ryder, William Regal and Dolph Ziggler.

R-Truth and John Morrison vs. The Miz and Zach Ryder

Back from commercial and out comes the WWE United States Champion R-Truth. Truth asks who the WWE Universe has picked to be his partner and it is… John Morrison. Out comes Morrison to the ring. Out next comes The Miz to the ring. Miz stops at the stage and has a mic. Miz rips on the WWE fans for the poor choices they’ve made earlier tonight. The Miz says he’s going to beat Truth tonight, regardless of who his partner is. Miz says then he will get ready to take back his US Title. The Miz’s opponent is… Zack Ryder. Ryder’s music hits and out he comes.

The bell rings and it’s Truth starting off with Miz. They lock up and Miz sends Truth to the mat. They run the ropes and Truth hits a big hip toss. Morrison comes in and they double team Miz. Morrison works over Miz before tagging back in Truth for more double teaming. 2 count by Truth. Miz clotheslines Truth and tags in Ryder. Ryder with a neckbreaker and a 2 count. Ryder tags back in Miz and they double team him. Miz works over Truth and kicks him in the head for another pin attempt.

Truth fights out of a hold and drops Miz on his head. Truth goes for a tag but Miz tries to stop him. Morrison comes in and clotheslines Miz twice. Morrison with a big dropkick. Morrison knocks Ryder off the apron. Morrison with a knee to the face for a 2 count on Miz as Ryder made the save. Truth comes in but gets dumped to the floor by Ryder. Morrison kicks Ryder in the face but turns around to Miz. Miz throws Morrison into the ringpost and hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the pinfall and the win.

Winners: The Miz and Zack Ryder

We go backstage where Edge is arguing with Bret Hart about the match not being fair to him. Bret walks off and Kane stops him. Kane says, it wasn’t you was it? Kane asks Bret if he destroyed Undertaker. Kane says Bret came back to WWE for closure and he and Taker have quite the history. Kane says if he finds out it was Bret, he will be in a vegetative state just like his brother. Kane walks off and Bret goes to do the same. Back to commercial.
One-Arm Match: Edge vs. Randy Orton
We come back and Edge makes his way out to the ring. The fans start chanting RKO before Randy Orton makes his way out to the ring. Orton is dressed to wrestle but has his arm in a sling. The referee ties Edge’s left arm behind his back and we’re ready to go. Edge swings first but Orton ducks it. Edge goes for a kick but Orton clotheslines him twice. Orton starts stomping on Edge now.
Orton hits the mat and beats on it. Orton goes for a left-handed RKO but Edge blocks it. Edge knocks Orton down in the corner. Edge lets his arm free and rushes Orton, stomping on the injured shoulder in the corner. Edge is trying to tell the referee that the tie just came undone but the referee calls for the bell.
Winner by DQ: Randy Orton
– After the bell is called for, Edge gets ready in the corner. Orton gets up and Edge charges for a spear. Orton kicks Edge in the head twice and sends him out to the floor. Edge grabs a steel chair and hits Orton in the shoulder with it, sending him to the floor. Orton is laid out. Edge hits Orton in the shoulder again with the chair. Edge leaves smiling as Orton is left hurting.
– Cole and Lawler play up the seriousness of the situation with Orton before hyping the Viewer’s Choice matches from earlier tonight. They hype Cena’s match for later tonight against CM Punk, Jack Swagger or Rey Mysterio. We go back to commercial.
- Back from the break and John Cena is backstage with Evan Bourne. Cena thanks Bourne for last week. Cena says Bourne proved something to everyone. Savannah walks up when Bourne leaves and asks Cena about his match tonight against an opponent he doesn’t know yet. Cena says he feels good about tonight and walks off.
– We see Copley waking up from the gas attack backstage. Mean Gene Okerlund walks in! Some comedy here. Mean Gene makes a reference to Josh Matthews and disses him. Matthews is standing right behind him. Copley walks off and Gene interacts with Matthews. Not much here but a cool appearance by Okerlund.
Drew McIntyre vs. Matt Hardy
We go to the arena where Drew McIntyre is making his way out. Teddy Long appears backstage to introduce our choices for Drew’s opponent. They are… Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust and a mystery man. We only see his shadow. The voting is now open as we go back to commercial.
Back from the break and Drew’s opponent is revealed to be… the mystery man, who turns out to be Matt Hardy. Hardy walks over and shakes hands with Teddy Long. Hardy makes his way out to the ring. Drew is furious, grabbing the referee and a microphone. Drew says this match isn’t happening because Hardy is suspended. Teddy comes out and says Hardy was suspended from SmackDown, not RAW. Teddy tells the referee to ring the bell. Drew is still talking when Hardy decks him to start the match. Hardy mounts Drew and unloads. Hardy clotheslines Drew to the floor and follows him. Hardy throws Drew over the announcers table and into the fan barrier.
Hardy finally brings it back in the ring. Hardy charges but Drew knocks him down. Drew runs at Hardy in the corner but hits the ring post. Hardy drops Drew with a Twist of Fate for the pinfall and the win.
Winner: Matt Hardy
– After the match, Hardy grabs Drew and starts slamming his head into the mat. Hardy pushes the referee off and goes back at Drew. Drew tries to leave the ring but Hardy pulls him by his hair. Drew escapes and Hardy is left standing with some of Drew’s hair in his hands.
– We go backstage where Rampage Jackson is cuffed to a chair. He’s being held captive by Ted DiBiase, Virgil and IRS, who is still wearing Lawler’s crown. Ted says they’re headed for the ring as we go back to commercial.
– Back from commercial and Rampage is being held against the ring ropes by Virgil and IRS. Ted says everyone has a price. Someone called him and wanted Rampage (BA Baracus) on a silver plate. Ted says he is delivering. Out comes Roddy Piper! Piper talks about WrestleMania 1, Mr. T and the old A-Team TV show. Piper says he silenced T at WrestleMania and will do the same tonight. Piper talks about the new A-Team movie and says he won’t be seeing it. Piper says he’s going to do the whole world a favor and beat the mohawk off of Baracus tonight. Piper says he “pity’s the fool” that messes with Hot Rod. Piper tells them to hold onto Baracus. Out comes Dusty Rhodes, Gene Okerlund and Coperly on a golf cart. Rampage pushes IRS and Virgil off and breaks the handcuff from the rope. Ted goes after Rampage but gets spinebustered. Dusty takes out IRS. Piper pushes Virgil into Rampage. Rampage chokeslams Virgil. Gene, Rampage, Coperly and Dusty are left in the ring. Gene asks them how they did it. Coperly says Dusty lives in Florida so he called him in to help. Dusty plugs the A-Team movie that opens this Friday. They all pose in the ring as the A-Team music plays.
– Cole plugs John Cena’s match tonight and the choices for his opponent – CM Punk, Rey Mysterio or Jack Swagger. Voting is now open as we go to commercial.
– Back from the break and Josh Matthews is backstage with Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger and CM Punk. Rey tells fans why he should be picked to face Cena tonight. Swagger does the same. CM Punk is with Luke Gallows and Serena. He says Matthews always asks stupid questions. Punk says only he can make Cena a better person. Punk says he will defeat Cena and Cena will join the Straight Edge Society.
John Cena vs. CM Punk
We go to the ring where the WWE Champion John Cena makes his way out to a big pop from the crowd. Matt Striker reveals Cena’s opponent and it is… CM Punk. Punk, still wearing his mask, makes his way out to the ring with Gallows and Serena right behind him.
The bell rings and they lock up. Cena tries to take Punk’s mask off. Punk flees to the outside of the ring. Punk comes back in and starts kicking at Cena. Headlock by Punk. Cena knocks Punk down with a big shoulder block. A “you can’t wrestle” chant breaks out. They go back and forth on the mat for a few minutes. Cena goes for Punk’s mask again and Punk flees to the floor again. They lock up again and Punk takes it to the corner, beating Cena down. Punk kicks Cena in the back of the head for a 2 count.
Punk wraps a headscissors on Cena and holds it. They get back to their feet and trade sots. Cena hits the big bulldog. Gallows trips Cena on his face as the referee is distracted. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Punk has Cena in a headlock and gets a 2 count. Punk throws Cena out to the floor. Serena kicks Cena in the gut while the referee is distracted. Punk comes out and kicks Cena before bringing him back in the ring. Punk kicks Cena some more now. Cena fights back with right hands and hits two big shoulders and a back drop. Cena goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle when Wade Barrett comes walking down the ramp. This distracts Cena. The other NXT rookies appear in the crowd – Darren Young, Skip Sheffield, Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel and all the others. They beat up the Straight Edge Society and surround Cena in the ring. They all have black arm bands with a yellow N on them. They enter the ring and surround Cena. Cena hits Barrett first but the NXT Rookies jump Cena. The rookies beat the hell out of Cena. Skip Sheffield goes to ringside and lays out Matt Striker. The rookies beat up Jerry Lawler now as Michael Cole runs. The rookies destroy the announcers table. Darren Young attacks a WWE crew member and they continue to tear everything up. Other crew members are attacked. Everyone who tries to stop it is beat down. Daniel Bryan chokes the hell out of Justin Roberts. The ring cover is ripped off the ring, the floor mats are torn up. The NXT season 1 rookies have destroyed RAW. They continue to attack Cena and it looks like CM Punk on the floor. The ring ropes are also torn down from the ring. The rookies come back in the ring and continue to attack Cena. Punk comes back in the ring but they beat him down also. Bryan screams to Cena that he is not better. Bryan delivers a sick kick to Cena’s head. The crowd starts chanting “you suck.” Barrett picks Cena up and slams him hard with his finisher. Gabriel goes to the top and hits Cena with the 450 splash. The NXT season 1 Rookies finally leave the ring with Cena laying face down. WWE crew members and CM Punk are all laying out at ringside. The ring is destroyed, the announcer’s area is destroyed. EMT’s bring a stretcher down to the ring and load John Cena up on it.
The camera looks around ringside and we see carnage everywhere. A fan is shown looking on shocked. Striker is shown laid out as is Justin Roberts. More fans are shown looking shocked. Cena is taken out on a stretcher as fans lean on the torn up barriers. Crew members roll over the announcer’s table where Jerry Lawler is laid out. Cena flashes a thumbs up as he is stretchered out of the arena. RAW goes off the air.
