CBSNEWS.COM HYPES ROCK VS CENA

CBSNews.com has published an article recapping the on-screen feud between Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and John Cena.

On Raw Monday, The Rock and John Cena continued their public war of words. Since the movie actor  known as Dwayne Johnson  announced his return to wrestling a few weeks ago, the two have traded barbs on Raw, on Facebook and on Twitter.

In a video that aired Monday before fans gathered in Buffalo, N.Y., The Rock appeared wearing Cena's hat and chain and said, "I'm about to spit something stupid."

After ripping the hat and chain off, he said, "It all started with you, John Cena, publicly running your mouth about me, calling me a liar when I say I love the WWE."

The week before, Cena had taunted The Rock with, among other things, a rap.

"I guess I was really excited to see him last Monday," said Cena of The Rock's return. "But...I think he was pretty nuch making fun of me. I should probably say something about that, right?"

His "something," in the the form of a rap: "Finally The Rock came back and everyone was was getting with it 'till he said I was talking trash but he would never be specific. It's because I wasn't talking trash, Rock, I was talking truth. You left us hanging high and dry to play a fairy with a tooth?"

He was referring to 2010"s "The Tooth Fairy," one of the dozens of movies Johnson has made in his film career.

Fans have thrown support behind both stars, though some have criticized The Rock for not appearing in person in Buffalo. The taunts sets the stage for an in-person face-off between John Cena and The Rock on April 3 at Wrestlemania 27.

CAPTAIN CHARISMA CHRISTIAN RETURNS TO SMACKDOWN

After tonight's WWE Smackdown tapings, World Heavyweight Champion Edge, Christian & Big Show defeated Alberto Del Rio & The Corre in a dark match main event.

Before the match Edge said it was going to take a lot more than a bloody nose to keep him and Christian apart. Christian hit the Kill Switch on Del Rio to get the pinfall victory. After the match, Show hit Del Rio with a chokeslam and Edge hit him with the spear.

Christian, who addressed the crowd after the match, hasn't worked in the ring since tearing his pectoral muscle in September 2010. He made his return to WWE at last month's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

FORMER STRAIGHT EDGE STAR TALKS ABOUT BEING KANE, SES MEMBER

Former WWE star Luke Gallows Luke Gallows did an interview with TheBradyHicks.com discussing his experience on the road with World Wrestling Entertainment, which began when he was 21 years old. Highlights:

Teaming with CM Punk in Straight Edge Society: "They wanted a big guy with [CM Punk]. He didn't really need it, nor do I think he thought he did. I thought we made it really work though. I tried to change my look, change a little my style in the ring. I think a little character development may have helped us more, but on the other hand - and he's one of my best friends so this isn't me kissing butt - he is one of the best on the mic. I could understand why they wouldn't give us more to say, but I always wish they would have."

The Straight-Edge Society In general: "We called ourselves the Addams Family. You had me, the big Cowboy. then you had Serena, the bald-headed girl, then you had the unshaven CM Punk, picking stuff out of his beard. We'd be sitting there in Cracker Barrel and people would just stare."

Portraying the "Fake" Kane: "I didn't end up liking the result, but when you're a 21 year old guy, I tried my best. Bill DeMott to his credit would come back with me at night for secret Kane training. I remember that first night on Raw. I looked like I was a member of that '80s hairband. That hair kinda killed me in the water right out of the gate. It was what it was though. I always appreciated and respected Kane in the business, and it helped promote his movie coming out. So it was what it was."

Appearing as Festus: "I loved Ray Gordy. I was wrestling in developmental as the Freakin' Deacon, but they had The Boogeyman and they felt that it would be too '80s. I remember Vince pulled us aside and laid out the idea for this Festus character. At the time, you look at it I was 23 years old. I just wanted to be the best damn whatever it was. So hopefully that's what I was able to do. People still ask me the most about that. There were times when I thought we could have done more with that character than we did."

ROCK IS THE BEST ACCORDING TO Y2J

Jericho on The Rock's return: "It's unfair to say 'The Rock came back and he embarrassed everyone and he blew everyone outta the water’ – he always did! The only difference is in The Rock’s time, he has Austin, Foley, Jericho – there were guys that could hang at that level – some of the best promo guys of all time. It’s not that guys like Cena or Miz can’t hang at The Rock’s level, it just that he (The Rock) is so far above everybody else – he always has been…as a promo man, The Rock is the best of all time!"

RANDY ORTON TALKS ABOUT THATS WHAT I AM

"The Viper" discusses the movie's plot as well as the differences between acting in WWE and in film. He also states that he would like to further his acting career.
