RAW AS ON JULY 12



 Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up with a video of last week’s RAW where Wade Barrett and John Cena were to shake hands on a truce. And we’re live in the Rupp Arena from Lexington, Kentucky as the pyro goes off. Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW. Jerry Lawler hypes John Cena vs. Nexus tonight. Lawler announces that Darren Young is unable to compete tonight after the attack from Cena last week.


- We go to the ring and out comes John Cena to a monster pop from the crowd. Cena thanks the WWE stars who helped him against Nexus last week. Cena talks about Sheamus and how he will lose the WWE Title at Money in the Bank in the cage match. Cena goes on about Sheamus and the cage match. Cena talks about the handicap match tonight and how he put Darren Young out of action last week. Cena says he meant what he said about Nexus – he’s taking them all out. The Nexus, minus Darren Young, appear on the stage wearing their t-shirts and armbands.


Wade Barrett says they will wait until later for Cena but that he brought all this onto himself. Barrett says Nexus stands for a much bigger picture. Barrett says Cena is going to get what he deserves later tonight. The e-mail alert goes off in the arena and Michael Cole steps up to the podium. The GM says that if any RAW star interferes in the handicap match, they will be suspended for 90 days. And if Nexus members don’t play by the rules in the match, they will also be suspended. Cena says he’s going to take care of them all tonight and drops the mic. Nexus heads to the back as Cena’s music plays and we go to commercial.


Alicia Fox vs. Gail Kim


We come back from commercial and Eve Torres joins Cole and Lawler on commentary. Out first comes the WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox. Out next is her opponent Gail Kim. They lock up and Gail takes Alicia down with armdrags. Gail tries to bring Alicia out of the corner but gets dropped with a knee to the face. 2 count by Alicia. Alicia with a headlock now.


Alicia picks up the win with a kick to the back of the head.


Winner: Alicia Fox


- As Alicia celebrates in the ring, the e-mail alert goes off and Cole reads the GM’s announcement. Due to Alicia faking an injury last week, she will have to defend her Divas Title against Eve at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Lawler and Cole hype tonight’s main events before taking us to commercial.


The Hart Dynasty and Natalya vs. Tamina and The Usos


Out come the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions and Natalya first. Their opponents, Tamina and The Usos are out next. Tyson starts the match out with Jimmy. They go at it and Tyson sends him to the floor. Tyson leaps off the apron onto both of the Usos. Tyson brings it back in the ring but Tamina knocks him off the ropes in the middle of a springboard. Jimmy unloads on Tyson now and tags in Jey for a bit of double teaming. 2 count by Jey.


Uso keeps control of Tyson now. Jimmy comes in and they double team. Tyson counters with a kick and tags in David Hart Smith. Smith unloads on Jimmy and knocks him down with a big shot to the head. Smith with a big slam for a 2 count as Tamina interferes. Natalya runs over and attacks Tamina. They brawl down to the floor. Smith goes to pin an Uso but it’s the wrong one as he didn’t see the tag. Uso gets the upperhand. Jey goes to the top and hits the big splash on Smith for the pinfall and the win.


Winners: Tamina, Jimmy and Jey Uso


- We go backstage with Wade Barrett talking to Chris Jericho. Barrett thanks Jericho for helping him out in the past. Jericho says he’s doing exactly what he told him to do. They shake hands and Jericho walks off. Josh Matthews runs into him for comments but Jericho brushes him off and keeps walking. The camera pans over to see Wade Barrett walking up on Yoshi Tatsu. Tatsu says John Cena is his friend. Tatsu turns around and the rest of Nexus are there. David Otunga attacks and they beat him down. We go to commercial as Tarver gets in Yoshi’s face.


- Back from the break and Ted DiBiase comes out in a suit with his Million Dollar Title and Maryse, who looks amazing. The Money in the Bank briefcase is hanging above the ring. Ted calls him and Maryse the million dollar couple, the most powerful couple in WWE. Ted says, of course I’m referring to myself and that briefcase. This offends Maryse. Ted tells her to imagine the possibilities of him showering her with gifts after he wins the match. John Morrison’s music hits and out he comes.


Morrison disses Maryse. She steps up and cuts a promo on him in French. Morrison responds but gets laid out by DiBiase. Ted is yelling about Morrison disrespecting he and Maryse. Ted works on Morrison but he comes back. Morrison goes for Starship Pain but Maryse helps Ted out of the ring. Time for another commercial.


- Back from the break and we get a skit like the old Brady Bunch intro. Santino Marella, William Regal, Goldust, Vladimir Kozlov, The Great Khali, Zack Ryder and DOINK THE CLOWN are featured in the Brady ripoff. We go backstage with Florence Henderson and Santino. William Regal walks in. Attempt at comedy here. Florence slaps Regal when he disses the Brady Bunch. Santino wants a kiss from Florence but she walks off to end the segment.


- Cole and Lawler talk about RAW’s Money in the Bank match. The final participant will be announced later tonight. They show us a video package of Edge and the Money in the Bank match.


- We see Edge headed to the ring for his match with Randy Orton. Back to commercial.


Edge vs. Randy Orton


Back from commercial and out comes Edge. Randy Orton is out next to a good pop. They lock up and go to the corner and around the ropes. Edge with rights in the corner. Orton turns it around on him. Orton beats Edge down to the mat. Orton comes out of the corner with a clothesline and starts stomping on Edge.


Orton gets a 2 count and works Edge over at the ropes. Orton does the slingshot under the ropes. They go to the floor and Orton brings it back in the ring. Edge takes control now. Orton counters with a big powerslam. Edge gets back up and Orton hits him with rights. Orton runs the ropes but Edge throws him to the floor. We go to commercial.


Back from the break and Orton is in control as he brings it back in the ring. Edge counters and puts on a headlock. Orton counters with a back suplex and breaks the hold. Orton with two clotheslines and another scoop slam. Orton brings Edge back in the ring and goes for the second-rope DDT. Edge counters it and drops Orton for a 2 count. Edge goes for a spear but Orton kicks him in the head with a punt. Edge counters the RKO and Orton counters a spear. Edge with a 2 count roll-up. Orton hits the backbreaker. Chris Jericho comes down and distracts Orton. Edge takes advantage and lays Orton out for the pinfall and the win.


Winner: Edge


- After the match, Jericho comes in the ring and lays Edge out with a Codebreaker. Jericho turns around to an RKO from Orton. Evan Bourne runs down and kicks Orton to the mat. Orton falls half-way across the ring. Bourne goes to the top rope for Air Bourne. Orton gets up and hits an RKO in mid-air as Bourne comes off the top. Awesome finish. Orton’s music hits and he poses for the fans.


- We see Skip Sheffield backstage. Josh Matthews asks about Nexus’ return to NXT tomorrow night. Skip just walks off and bumps into John Morrison. Nexus surround Morrison. Morrison hits Heath Slater first and they beat him down. Slater hits a running kick to Morrison’s ribs. They push Morrison into one of the storage bins and he lands hard on the floor. Back to commercial.


- Back from commercial and out comes WWE’s United States Champion The Miz. He talks about Money in the Bank and shows a clip of him attacking R-Truth last week to put him out of the match. Miz talks about he took out Truth with his bare hands. Miz says he is as serious as he has ever been. The e-mail alert goes off. Cole announces that The Miz will face R-Truth’s replacement right now. And it is Mark Henry.


Mark Henry vs. The Miz


Out comes Mark Henry, R-Truth’s replacement. Henry drops Miz with a headbutt. Henry throws Miz in the corner and presses him over his head. Miz goes down and rolls out to the floor. Henry slams him into the apron. Miz drops Henry on the floor and starts hitting him with trash cans. It looks like Henry hit his head on the podium. Miz empties trash all over Henry as the crowd boo’s. We go to commercial.


– Back from the break and Justin Roberts introduces tonight’s guest host, Florence Henderson. She comes out to the Brady Bunch theme. Florence mingles with the fans at ringside and kisses a little girl on the cheek. Florence says she’s feeling groovy tonight. She says the next match is an eight-man Brady Bunch tag team match. She introduces the Regal Bunch first and then the Santino Bunch.


William Regal, Primo, Zack Ryder and Doink the Clown vs. Santino Marella, Goldust, Vladimir Kozlov and The Great Khali


Florence goes to sit at ringside as the match begins with Santino and Regal. Santino does some comedy and Regal decks him. Regal with knees to the head now. Florence puts on Regal’s coat at ringside and this distracts him. Regal turns around to the Cobra from Santino for a 2 count as Ryder and Primo broke the pin up. Everyone goes to the outside to fight. It’s Santino and Doink in the ring. Doink scares Santino. Santino hits him and tags in Khali. Doink stomps on Khali’s foot and tries to scoop slam him. Doink pulls out a water gun and squirts Khali with it. Khali chops Doink down and pins him for the win.


Winners: Santino Bunch


– After the match, Santino acts like he wants to kiss Florence in the ring. She ducks his kiss and goes up to Khali. Khali plants a kiss on Florence and scoops her up in his arms. They kiss again and he sets her down. We go to commercial.


– Back from the break and we get more hype for Money in the Bank. They show the clip of CM Punk cashing in against Jeff Hardy and winning the World Title.


– Josh Matthews walks up on Edge backstage. Matthews talks about what happened earlier tonight. Edge thanks Chris Jericho for the wake-up call. Edge says he has the advantage because he’s been in more MITB matches. Edge says he also has a secret that he’s held all this time. Edge says he has a voice in his head that reminds him he has no morals and that he’s the ultimate opportunist. Edge says the fun is truly about to begin.


– We see a trainer checking on Evan Bourne. Sheamus walks up laughing. Sheamus says if it was him, it would have been a lot worse. The Nexus members surround Sheamus and Bourne. Sheamus tells them that Bourne is one of Cena’s heroes and puts the pressure on Bourne. Sheamus walks off. Gabriel slaps Bourne. Barrett slams him into a storage bin as they taunt him. They walk off and Sheamus comes back. Sheamus taunts Bourne. The Nexus guys come back over and Sheamus looks up. Sheffield jumps at Sheamus and he takes off running. Sheamus runs and asks a crew member where Cena’s locker room is. Back to commercial.


The Nexus vs. John Cena


Back from the break and The Nexus, minus Darren Young, are lined up in the ring. Out next comes John Cena to a big pop. Cena starts things off with Michael Tarver. They go to the corner and Cena beats Tarver down. Cena hits an elbow to the face and a fisherman’s suplex. Tarver tags in Justin Gabriel. They lock up and go to the corner. Cena does the same thing, beat Gabriel down in the corner. Cena with a clothesline. Gabriel tags in Skip Sheffield. The crowd chants for Cena as they lock up.


Sheffield comes back in and they distract. Sheffield gets the upperhand and works Cena over. Heath Slater is tagged in and he works Cena over with rights. They team up on Cena as the ref is distracted. Slater with a big back suplex and another. David Otunga is tagged in next. He continues the beatdown on Cena. Cena comes back and decks some members but Otunga clotheslines him. Otunga with a suplex now. Cena fights back with a suplex but Otunga tags in Wade Barrett. Cena with right hands. Barrett knocks Cena down with a big boot to the face. Barrett goes for his finisher but Cena slides out. Cena with two shoulders and a back suplex.


Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Barrett. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment and hits it. Barrett tagged in Sheffield on his way down. Sheffield stomps on Cena and hits his big running clothesline. Otunga is tagged in now. Otunga slams Cena with his finisher. Gabriel is back in next. Gabriel goes to the top for the 450 Splash and hits it for the pinfall and the win.


Winners: The Nexus


– After the match, Barrett comes in and tells everyone to get away from Cena. Barrett says this is personal. Cena gets up and decks Barrett. He gets a chair from ringside and hits Slater in the back with it. Cena hits the ring with the chair and Nexus flees to the floor. Nexus discuss what to do again and surround the ring. Cena is busted open, bleeding from his face. Sheamus runs down with a chair and swings it at the Nexus guys. Sheamus and Cena with chairs fight the Nexus guys off the apron. Nexus retreats to the back. RAW goes off the air with Cena holding a chair bleeding.

NEW MATCHES ADDED TO MONEY IN THE BANK PPV



Alicia Fox will defend the WWE Divas Championship against Eve at Sunday's Money in the Bank pay-per-view. 


Money in the Bank 2010 will take place Sunday live on pay-per-view from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

JIM ROSS'S VOICE REMOVED FROM OPENING VIDEO

WWE has removed Jim Ross' voice from the opening to programming and replaced it with Michael Cole. Also added to the segment was John Cena saying "the Champ is here."
