There is speculation that Bret Hart is being paid $500,000 for the current storyline in WWE plus a big WrestleMania bonus.

Diva Released from FCW, McIntyre's new theme

It’s possible that WWE has released developmental talent Jenny Quinn from her deal as she has been removed from the FCW roster page. Quinn was signed by WWE in 2008 and just recently returned to action from an injury that she suffered in May of last year.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre will debut a new theme song on this week’s SmackDown.

Update on ECW, Miz

WWE will be holding a live chat on their website during next week’s ECW finale. Howard Finkel will host and special guests will be Joey Styles as well as ECW Superstars. WWE will also be having a chat during the WWE NXT debut show on February 23rd with Finkel and special guests.

WWE United States Champion and one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions The Miz was working the media tour yesterday with next week’s RAW host Jerry Springer.

Update on Raw vs Smackdown, more on Serena/Punk plot

WWE’s SmackDown vs. RAW 2010 video game has shipped 3.5 million units already, putting it slightly ahead of UFC’s Undisputed game. Still, the number for WWE’s game is down from previous years.

One of the reasons Serena Deeb was brought up to WWE’s main roster is because she was the only woman in developmental that was willing to get her head shaved for the storyline with CM Punk. Some of the Divas in FCW who turned the opportunity down did themselves no favors.

Update on HBK, Stats on RR, and More

Right now Shawn Michaels is planning on taking time off from April through August of this year, returning in time for SummerSlam.

Chris Jericho’s Fozzy album, Chasing the Grail, did not make Billboard’s Top 200 chart in its first week of being released. The album only sold 2,200 copies in the United States during that first week.
Shawn Michaels’ six eliminations in this year’s Royal Rumble match gives him 37 for his career, beating Steve Austin’s previous record of 36. The list goes on with Undertaker at 35 eliminations, Kane at 34 and Triple H with 26.

Regarding most time spent in a Royal Rumble match in a wrestler’s career, Triple H is leading at 231 minutes and 12 seconds, Shawn Michaels is second with 213 minutes and 34 seconds while Kane comes in at number three with 173 minutes and 46 seconds.

There’s a lot of talk in WWE going on about the Draft after WrestleMania  this year. Plans right now see Big Show and Jack Swagger being sent to SmackDown

The final episode of ECW next week will see Christian defend his ECW Title against Ezekiel Jackson in an Extreme Rules match and Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu face Big Show & The Miz for the WWE Unified Tag Team Titles.

New name on HOF, Push for Vance Archer

WWE officials are high on Vance Archer as he has been receiving a push in developmental as well as on ECW.
Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ron Simmons’s name has been discussed for induction into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.

The Shaman of Sexy injuired

John Morrison apparently sprained his ankle at last night’s SmackDown tapings in a match with R-Truth. The match was cut short after Morrison went down when leaping over Truth. Morrison was helped to the back by Truth, a WWE trainer and the referee. No word yet if the injury is legit or part of an angle.

John Morrison revealed on Twitter today that he broke his ankle in three places last night at the SmackDown tapings but was still headed overseas for the WWE tour beginning this Thursday. Morrison wrote that he was going to just “walk it off.”

There is some speculation from sources that the injury is legit as the belief is that WWE wouldn’t send a talent with a broken ankle in three places overseas to work.

Edge back in the Ring, Mickie defending Title and More

Edge will return to the ring on next week’s Friday Night SmackDown in a match against Batista.
Country Weekly magazine noted recently that WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James will indeed be defending at WrestleMania this year.

- WWE’s shop website currently has new Bret Hart workshirts & hoodies as well as new t-shirts for The Miz, MVP, Big Show, Santino Marella and Cryme Tyme.

- Kaval, the former Low Ki, is the new #1 contender to the FCW Heavyweight Title in WWE developmental after winning a four-way at the recent TV tapings.
