This week’s show starts off with highlights from the steel cage match between Christian and Alberto Del Rio that saw Del Rio’s destiny knocked a little off its path with a loss to Christian. Del Rio took out his frustration on Christian with a post match attack, but it was stopped by Edge, who wanted to get close to Alberto’s car. Edge did not get to repossess the car because Brodus Clay attacked Edge from behind.
We move to tonight’s show and Edge is in Teddy Long’s office and Edge’s arm is wrapped up due to last week’s attack. Edge tells Teddy he is getting hit in the arm each week. Edge says that Teddy’s ruling doesn’t make sense because what goes around comes around. He says that he is not getting a chance to go after Alberto and then he suggests that Teddy is showing some favoritism towards Alberto.
Teddy says that what he is doing is in the best interest of the WWE and the Smackdown main event at Wrestlemania. He also says that he is doing this for the best interest of Edge and Alberto Del Rio.
Edge wants to know why he should care about the best interest of Alberto Del Rio because Alberto doesn’t care about his.
Teddy says that this conversation is over and it has gone too far. If Edge or Alberto as much as touch each other, they will both be banned from Wrestlemania.
Devon . . . cue the Green Day.
We are live on tape from Columbus, Ohio and your announcers are Michael ‘How do I look in Maize and Blue this week’ Cole, Booker ‘Tressel’ T, and Josh ‘I’m Going to Wrestlemania?’ Mathews.
Before our first match starts, we take a look back to Monday night when Randall Keith Orton made the mistake of pointing out that he had his bus with him and his wife was there. Punk paid a visit to Orton’s home on the road.
Match Number One: Rey Mysterio versus CM Punk in a Wrestlemania Rewind Match
They lock up and Punk backs Rey into the corner. Punk hits Rey in the chest and then he kicks Rey while the referee warns him. Punk with an Irish whip but Rey floats over. Rey sends Punk into the ropes with a head scissors and Rey sets for the 619 but there is no way that Punk is vulnerable enough for the 619. Punk with a kick followed by a rollup but you don’t roll up Rey Mysterio without paying the price. Rey rolls through and he kicks Punk in the head and gets a near fall. Mysterio with forearms and he tries for a springboard cross body but Punk figured it was coming so he moves out of the way to avoid Rey. Punk with a baseball slide that sends Rey to the apron.
Punk with boots to Rey’s chest and he gets a near fall. Punk puts Rey in an abdominal stretch and he puts the point of his elbow in Rey’s midsection for extra pressure. Rey escapes the hold and Punk tries for a rollup using the ropes but Rey ducks out of the way and Punk goes to the floor. Rey goes to the apron to try for an Asai Moonsault but Punk stops Rey and he gets Rey on his shoulders and hot shots Rey onto the ringside barrier as we go to commercial.
We are back and Punk with a knee to the head followed by a snap mare and body scissors. Rey with elbows to Punk and he gets out of the hold. Rey tries to work on the leg with knees. Rey with a kick and then he tries to slide through Punk’s legs but Punk stops him and hits a knee and gets a near fall. Punk with a leg drop to Rey’s chest and he gets a near fall. Punk tries for a suplex but Rey gets away from Punk. Punk with a cross body for a near fall.
Punk goes up top for a cross body but Rey hits a drop kick and both men are down. Rey with kicks to the leg and then Punk grabs Rey but they are too close to the ropes and Rey propels him and Punk to the floor. Rey hits an Asai Moonsault on Punk.
From out of nowhere, Cody Rhodes attacks Rey and sends him into the ring post. Since the referee saw it, he calls for the bell.
Winner: Rey Mysterio by disqualification
Cody sends Rey into the ring post and then Cody gets a little more comfortable as he continues his attack on Rey. Cody uses the face mask for a few head butts and then he hits a knee drop on the apron.
Cody kicks Rey in the corner and then Cody reveals a knee brace and he connects with a running knee into the corner. Cody leaves the ring and hides his face from the crowd and cameras.
The medical staff checks on Rey at ringside.
Edge is in the locker room and Christian stops by and he asks Edge if they want to go through with this since we are nine days away from Wrestlemania. Christian brings up Teddy Long’s ruling and wonders if they should even be in the same building tonight. Christian says that it is a risk to have a match with Drew McIntyre.
Edge tells Christian that he appreciates what Christian is saying, but he is going to take the match. Edge tells Christian that he will be in his corner tonight for Christian’s match against Alberto Del Rio. Edge wants to show the world and Alberto that he is one hundred percent and nothing is going to stop him at Wrestlemania.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Edge versus Drew McIntyre
They lock up and Drew goes immediately to the arm but Edge with punches and kicks as the referee has to physically remove him from the corner. Edge runs into an elbow drop Drew and then Drew kicks Edge in the arm. Drew works on the arm and wraps the arm in the rope. Drew with a kick to the arm and then he wrings the arm to drive Edge to the mat and Drew gets a near fall. Drew with a boot to the injured arm. Drew goes to the turnbuckles but he takes too long and Edge pulls Drew to the mat.
Edge with a running forearm followed by a clothesline. Edge with a kick and he tries for the Impaler DDT but Edge feels the pressure on the arm and he has to let go. Drew tries fro the Future Shock DDT but Edge is able to counter with a back body drop and then Edge puts Drew in the Edgecator. Drew has to tap out.
Winner: Edge
After the match, the crowd chants for a spear and Edge has that look in his eye as he pulls his hair. Edge hits Drew with a spear and then he looks at the Wrestlemania sign.

We are back with the Undertaker/Triple H ‘In the Eyes of the Wrestlers’ video package from Monday night.
The announcers talk about Triple H’s comments from Monday night and then we are reminded that Undertaker will respond to Hunter later tonight.
Michelle and Layla come to the ring showing no respect for one of their opponents at Wrestlemania because Layla has Smurf slippers on and Michelle has troll slippers. Both ladies have ‘Snooked’ their hair and tease it with some hairspray as they walk to the ring.
Match Number Three: Kelly Kelly and Rosa Mendes versus Michelle McCool and Layla
Michelle and Layla start off with some fist pumping but Rosa and Kelly with double leg take downs and they slam their heads into the mat. Kelly and Michelle go to the floor and Kelly sends Michelle into the ringside barrier. Michelle with a kick to the head and Kelly goes down.
Meanwhile in the ring, Layla with kicks while Rosa responds with forearms. Rosa with a clothesline or two. Rosa with a kick and then she suplexes Layla but Michelle breaks up the cover. Rosa hits Michelle from behind and does not realize that Layla got up and Layla with a kick and the Lay Out for the three count.
Winners: Layla and Michelle McCool
After the match, Michelle and Layla have something to say. It is time for some Real Talk. They point out that Wrestlemania is here. Michelle talks about their opponents at Wrestlemania and she brings up Trash Stratus, John Snorison, and Snooki. Layla says that the little meatball Guidette is so famous, but Michelle says that it doesn’t matter because Snooki’s reality is that she might be famous, but she will never be famous and Flawless. Michelle and Layla ‘shore’ it up before they leave the ring.
We go to footage from last week when Big Show and Kane got their chance at the Tag Titles against Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel. Even though Show and Kane did not win the titles, they got some retribution on the champions. Then the rest of the Corre arrived on the scene and they decimated Big Show and Kane, including Wasteland on Show.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Four: Wade Barrett with Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, and Ezekiel Jackson versus Kofi Kingston in an Intercontinental Title Match
They lock up and Barrett backs Kofi into the corner. Kofi with kicks and then he tries for a crucifix but turns it into a sunset flip. Kofi with a drop kick for a near fall. Wade with a kick and he tries to Irish whip Kofi but Kingston does a cartwheel followed by a running forearm for a near fall. Kofi with a kick to Wade in the corner. Wade with an Irish whip but he runs into boots from Kofi. Kofi goes to the turnbuckles but he has his back to Wade and Wade kicks Kofi in the leg.
Wade stretches Kofi in the ropes and then Wade with a running boot that sends Kofi to the floor. Barrett goes to the floor and he runs Kofi’s back into the apron. Barrett sends Kofi back into the ring. Kofi with punches and forearms to Wade. Barrett with a Bossman Slam for a near fall. Wade with a knee to the back and then he stretches Kofi again. Wade with a forearm to the back followed by a slam. Barrett goes to the turnbuckles but he misses an elbow drop when Kofi rolls out of the way.
Wade misses a boot and Kofi with chops and a drop kick. Kofi misses the Superman punch and Barrett with a kick and he tries for a pump handle slam but Kofi gets to his feet. Kofi goes into the corner and Barrett charges into a pendulum kick from Kingston. Kofi goes up top for a cross body and he gets a near fall.
Kofi with a kick and then he gets set up for the Boom drop and hits it. Kofi gets ready for Trouble in Paradise, but Jackson and Gabriel get on the apron and distract the referee, allowing Slater to get on the apron on the other side of the ring. Slater’s attempted interference fails and Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise on Slater, knocking him off the apron.
Kofi tries for Trouble in Paradise on Barrett, but he is too close and Barrett is able to catch Kofi and put him on his shoulders for Wasteland and Barrett gets the three count.
Winner: Wade Barrett
After the match, the Corre celebrate Wade’s victory. Gabriel pulls Kofi into the corner and he goes up top for the 450 splash. After looking around, Justin hits the move on Kingston.
Alberto is in Teddy’s office complaining about the ‘No Contact’ rule that Teddy established for Edge and Del Rio. Alberto tells Teddy that he is not done with Edge yet. He has nine more days until Wrestlemania and that means nine more things he can do to Edge.
Teddy tells Alberto what he told Edge earlier tonight. That is if either man touches the other, they will both be out of Wrestlemania.
Alberto tells Teddy that he does not have the guts to ban him.
Teddy points out to Alberto that there have been twenty-six Wrestlemanias without Del Rio, and he wants Alberto to try him to see if it will be twenty-seven. He tells Alberto to worry about his match with Christian.
Alberto winks at Teddy and leaves.

We are back and Did You Know that Smackdown was the most watched program on SyFy for the twenty-fifth straight week? (Can you guess how many weeks Smackdown has been on SyFy?
It is time for the Undertaker to come out to address Triple H. Taker goes to the stage and he says that there is an old saying that goes ‘The more things change, the more they stay the same.’ Triple H has convinced himself that he has the equation on how to eradicate the Undertaker. Hunter talks with confidence in how he will defeat him at Wrestlemania and end the streak. This past Monday, he heard Triple H on Raw and that confidence is starting to fade into uncertainty. Soon, the uncertainty will turn into despair because as the days grow closer to the apocalypse.
An Armageddon of mega-sized proportions, he will realize that the words ‘die trying’ were more prolific than he thinks. It is the words ‘die trying’ that will be the epitaph on his tombstone. Taker says that he is looking forward to Raw this week when he gets to tell this to Triple H, face to face. On 2/21/11, the night that he decided to interrupt him, Hunter’s fate was decided. Taker says that Hunter’s number was chosen. At Wrestlemania, Triple H will put all of his accolades, success, and fame on the line to become a number. That number is nineteen.

While Swagger comes to the ring, we see the footage from Monday night when Cole put Lawler in the ankle lock.
Match Number Five: Jack Swagger versus R Truth in a When did Truth go to Smackdown Match
They lock up and Swagger backs Truth into the corner and connects with shoulders. Swagger with a belly-to-belly suplex and he gets a near fall. Swagger with a forearm across the chest and then he kicks Truth in the corner. Truth and Swagger exchange punches but Truth takes over. Swagger with a hard Irish whip. Swagger punches Truth but he runs into a boot from Truth. Swagger misses a charge into the corner and Truth with clotheslines. Truth holds on to the ropes and then he does the Truth dance and Swagger charges at him. Truth drops down and Swagger goes over the top rope to the floor.
Truth with a corkscrew pescado but Truth appears to have injured his ankle on the ringside barrier. Swagger gets into the ring first and Truth goes up top but Swagger knocks Truth off. Truth’s leg gets caught in the ropes and Swagger kicks him. Swagger with a DDT to the leg and then he puts Truth in the ankle lock. Truth taps out.
Winner: Jack Swagger
After the match, Cole leaves his mouse hole and comes into the ring while Swagger still has the ankle lock on Truth. Cole asks Truth how he feels. Cole raps to Truth and then suggests that they do a victory lap.
We go to commercial.
We are back with footage from this week’s Raw when John Cena appeared ‘via satellite’ from Cena’s ‘home’ if his home is the Consol Energy Center. We also see Miz’s promo and subsequent beat down on Alex Riley.
We run through the card for Wrestlemania.
Match Number Six: Alberto Del Rio with Brodus Clay and Ricardo Rodriguez versus Christian with Edge
They lock up and Del Rio with a knee and forearm to the head. Del Rio with a side head lock but Christian with a forearm for a near fall. Christian with a side head lock. Del Rio with a kick in the corner followed by a punch after what appeared to be a clean break. Del Rio with more kicks to Christian in the corner and the referee tries to warn him. Del Rio with an Irish whip but Christian back body drops Del Rio to the floor. Christian goes up top and hits a cross body to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and they are back in the ring. Christian with a kick to Del Rio and then he hits a sunset flip for a near fall. Del Rio with a kick but Christian clotheslines Del Rio over the top rope to the floor. Christian misses a baseball slide and Del Rio sends Christian into the ringside barrier. Del Rio sends Christian into the ring steps. Del Rio gets a near fall when they return to the ring.
Del Rio with an arm bar on Christian. Del Rio with knees and a head butt followed by a kick. Del Rio goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a back senton splash for a near fall. Del Rio punches Christian and then points to the Wrestlemania sign before putting Christian in an arm bar. Del Rio with a knee and then he pulls Christian to the mat by his hair. Del Rio with a kick to Christian.
Del Rio goes back to the turnbuckles but he takes too long and Christian recovers and he hits a Frankensteiner and gets a near fall. Christian punches Del Rio and then hits a running forearm. Christian sling shots to the floor and then he connects with an uppercut. Christian goes up top but he misses a cross body when Del Rio moves out of the way.
Del Rio misses the running enzuigiri and Christian goes to the turnbuckles for the Tornado DDT but Rodriguez puts Del Rio’s foot on the rope. Edge chases after Rodriguez but before Edge can hit Rodriguez, Clay takes care of Edge from behind.
Del Rio with a kick and he sets for the Cross Arm Breaker but Christian escapes and tries for the Killswitch. Del Rio gets loose and he tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Christian lands on his feet. Del Rio hits an enzuigiri on Christian and Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio puts Christian in the cross arm breaker but Christian gets to the ropes.
Christian and Del Rio each go for clotheslines and they are down. Edge with a spear to Clay on the floor and then Edge grabs a chair and he hits Clay with it.
Back in the ring, Del Rio kicks Christian in the arm and then Del Rio sees Edge standing over Clay with the chair and that delay allows Christian to hit the Killswitch for the three count.
Winner: Christian
After the match, Edge puts the chair in the ring and he crawls inside. Edge thinks about hitting Del Rio with the chair but Christian stops him and tells Edge to look at the Wrestlemania sign. Christian isn’t banned from making contact with Del Rio and Christian hits Del Rio in the back with the chair. Edge kneels over Del Rio while Christian makes sure that Edge does not touch him. Edge tells Del Rio that he will be able to touch him at Wrestlemania and it is his destiny.
