RAW SUPERSHOW 10/31


Tonight’s WWE RAW Supershow kicks off with Michael Cole welcoming us. The Rock’s music begins to play and we see him on the big screen in a pre-recorded video shot earlier today it says. The Rock talks about John Cena wanting him to team up at Survivor Series. Rock says Cena represents an era and a generation, but he also represents an era and a generation. Rock says Cena asked him from the heart and he felt it. The Rock says hell no, from the heart. Hell no, again, and again. The Rock says in order for he and Cena to be a tag team, he would have to slap the skin on his hand in a match. Rock says he would rather slap Cena in the mouth. Rock says Cena wants Team Bring It to team up with Cena and the Fruit Loop Troop. No, hell no, no way, says The Rock. Wait a minute. Rock says then he started to think about it and listen to all the tweets coming to him on Twitter from fans. Rock says Team Bring It hates The Miz and R-Truth. Rock says it’s about what the people wants. And what the people want is to see The Miz and R-Truth gt their jabroni asses kicked at Survivor Series. Rock says Cena’s wish just came true. For one night, he and Cena will be a tag team and they will face The Miz and R-Truth at Survivor Series. Rock says Miz and Truth have become hated but they’ve done it from the back like cowards. Rock tells them to try and come do it to him. Rock says he knows Cena is so happy right now. Rock mocks Cena and his young fans now. Rock says there’s another reason why he’s doing this, besides kicking Miz and Truth’s ass. Rock wants Cena to witness, at Survivor Series, the most electrifying man in the world doing what he does best – putting boots to asses. Rock says what he does that night is just a taste of what he will do to Cena at WrestleMania. Rock goes and pretty sure he calls Cena’s mom a fat ass, but says he’s back and Cena better get ready. They will team at Survivor Series – never before, never again. If ya smellllll… and the crowd pops as Rock’s music plays again and Cole runs down what we just heard.

- Cena vs. The Miz is announced for tonight.

CM Punk vs. Mark Henry

We go to the ring and out first comes CM Punk to a nice reaction. The World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry is out next. If Punk can win this one, he will get the shot against Alberto Del Rio at Survivor Series.

Before the match starts, John Laurinaitis comes out to introduce himself. He announces again that Punk will get the WWE Title shot if he can defeat Henry tonight. The bell rings and they go at it. Henry overpowers Punk and takes him to the mat first. Henry whips Punk hard into the corner but Punk kicks him in the face. Punk leaps from the second rope to Henry’s back and starts hitting him with elbows. Henry positions Punk on his shoulder and slams him hard for a 2 count.

Punk fights back with kicks but Henry tosses him to the apron. Punk kicks Henry in the head and springboards in with a clothesline. Punk goes up to the top and hits the big elbow drop but Henry kicks out at 2. Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez appear at ringside. Del Rio orders Ricardo in the ring. Ricardo runs in the ring and starts beating on Henry. Henry shoves him off. Ricardo grabs his shoe and beats Henry down with it. The referee calls for the bell and the match is thrown out.

Winner by DQ: Mark Henry

- After the match, Punk realizes what happened and dives through the ropes, taking out Del Rio. Ricardo tries to stop him but Punk holds him by his collar. Punk throws Ricardo in the ring where Henry is waiting. Henry lays out Ricardo with a World’s Strongest Slam. Del Rio watches from the ramp as Punk stares him down. Punk chases Del Rio to the back as Henry steps on Ricardo on his way out of the ring.

- Michael Cole hypes his challenge for Jim Ross tonight as Lawler plugs The Muppets, up next. We go to commercial.

- Back from the break and Justin Roberts plugs The Muppets movie and introduces Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. They appear behind a setup on the big stage and welcome everyone to RAW. Piggy calls herself the original Diva and is interrupted by Vickie Guerrero and Jack Swagger. Vickie insults the Muppets and Swagger threatens them with the idea of frog legs and a ham sandwich. Kermit says they understand and don’t want any trouble from Swagger or his mother. This pisses Vickie off. She and Piggy bump chests a few times and have words. Santino Marella comes out.

Santino says he has just been informed that Swagger will be wrestling him tonight. Swagger holds Kermit’s mouth closed to shut him up and says he’s going to have Dolph Ziggler in his corner. Santino says no he won’t because Ziggler is wrestling Zack Ryder tonight. Kermit and Piggy do the “Woo, woo, woo you know it!” Kelly Kelly’s music hits and out she comes in a Halloween costume. Kelly kisses Kermit, which upsets Piggy, and heads to the ring as we go to commercial.

#1 Contender’s Battle Royal: Eve Torres, Rosa Mendes, AJ Lee, Aksana, Tamina, Kaitlyn, Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox, Natalya and The Bella Twins

We come back and all the Divas are in their costumes in the ring. The winner of this will face WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, who is at ringside for commentary. The bell rings and the costumed Divas go at it. Rosa takes an early elimination. The Bella Twins eliminate Aksana. Tamina eliminates AJ. Tamina goes over by Kaitlyn it looks like. The Bellas eliminate Kaitlyn. Kelly and Eve come over to go at it with the Bellas while Natalya and Alicia go at it. Eve booty pops over both Bellas and moonsaults them. Kelly rubs her butt in both Bellas face and then they eliminate them. It’s down to Kelly, Eve, Alicia and Natalya. They take turns slapping Natalya. Natalya clotheslines Eve but Alicia and Kelly make the save. Alicia is eliminated by Natalya. Kelly Kelly is next. Eve comes from behind and dumps Natalya to the floor for the win.

Winner and New #1 Contender: Eve Torres

- After the match, a pissed Beth Phoenix and Natalya enter the ring to confront Eve. Kelly and Alicia come in and stand beside her. Beth and Natalya back out of the ring without a fight.

- We see Beaker and Bunsen backstage. Bunsen has prepared a special concoction for Santino. Beaker runs to take it to him but gets stopped by Christian. Christian tries to bully Beaker and calls him a nerd. Christian appears behind Christian and makes him move on. Sheamus and Beaker talk with Sheamus acting like they’re in the same family. Sheamus fixes Beaker’s red hair and walks off.

Air Boom vs. Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett

We go to the ring and out come the WWE Tag Team Champions Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for a non-title match. We go to commercial before their opponents make it out.

Back from the break and Wade Barrett is in the ring with his partner Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes. Cody starts out with Bourne. Theyt lock up and go at it. Bourne makes a tag to Kofi for a dropkick. 2 count by Kofi. Kofi dodges Cody in the corner and kicks him in the head. Kofi kicks Barrett to the floor but Cody knocks him out of the air on a springboard. 2 count for Cody. Cody works over Kofi for another 2 count. Barrett gets the tag. Wade comes in and stomps on Kofi and hits a big sideslam off the ropes for a 2 count.

Barrett continues the assault on Kofi for another pin attempt before tagging in Cody. Cody works Kofi over in the corner and stomps away. Cody with a submission now. Barrett comes back in and they double team Kofi. Barrett beats Kofi down in the corner again and Cody gets in some cheap shots as the ref isn’t looking. Cody comes back in on a tag and keeps in control of Kofi. Kofi turns it around and flips Cody into the corner. Bourne comes in as does Barrett. Bourne ducks a clothesline and fires away with kicks. Barrett turns a hurricanrana into the Wasteland but Bourne counters that with a big DDT for a 2 count as Cody breaks it up. Kofi runs over but Cody dumps him out to the floor. Bourne goes for Air Bourne but Cody distracts him. Barrett grabs Bourne off the top rope and nails Wasteland for the win.

Winners: Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes

- After the match, Kofi comes in to check on Bourne as Barrett and Rhodes pose. Christian comes down and they beat Air Boom up. Sheamus makes the save and cleans house as Christian, Rhodes and Barrett back up the ramp.

- We see Muppets Waldorf and Statler watching from one of the VIP areas. They seem to be enjoying the show.

- John Laurinaitis is backstage texting someone on his phone. CM Punk walks up and is upset about getting DQ’d earlier tonight. Punk insults Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis says Punk will get his title shot as long as Del Rio agrees to give him one. Punk seems taken back a bit and says that sounds fair enough before walking off.

- Up next is Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio. Back to commercial we go.

- Back from the break and we get another vignette for Brodus Clay.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show

Back from the break and out comes WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio driving a Porsche. His opponent, Big Show, is out next for this non-title match.

The bell rings and they go at it. Del Rio tries to take control in the corner but Show turns it around and hits a series of big body blows and a chop to the chest. Show with a big headbutt and more big chops to the chest. Show uses the ropes to choke Del Rio. Del Rio fires back with kicks and right hands but Show drops him with another headbutt. Show backs Del Rio on the ropes and hits him in the gut again. Del Rio kicks Show in the head but gets knocked down with a shoulder block. Show suplexes Del Rio for a 2 count.

Show keeps in control. Del Rio finally goes for Show’s legs and jumps up on his back for a sleeper hold. Del Rio takes Show to the mat with the sleeper. They take it to the floor and go at it before going back in the ring to break the count. Show kicks Del Rio back into the fan barrier and then puts a knee to the gut. Show stops the count again and continues to beat Del Rio around the ring. Show charges but Del Rio moves and he lands hard on the barrier. Del Rio with the kick to the head. Del Rio re-enters the ring as Show is being counted out. Del Rio comes back out and they bring it in the ring. 2 count for Del Rio as Show shoves him out of the pin. Del Rio applies a headlock and tries to wear Show down to the mat again, and he does.

Show powers out finally and backdrops Del Rio hard, both go down. Del Rio strikes first but Show hits him with a big chop to the chest. They trade shots from low on the mat. Del Rio drops Show for a 2 count. Show powers out of a lock this time and clotheslines Del Rio out to the floor as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and Del Rio has Big Show in a leg lock. Show finally fights out but Del Rio drops him with a DDT for a 2 count. Show kicks out and sends Del Rio flying out of the ring. Del Rio goes for the kick again but Show knocks him out of the air and covers him for the win.

Winner: Big Show

- After the match, Show heads up the ramp as CM Punk makes his way out where Del Rio is still KO’d in the ring. Punk grabs a mic and a bottle of water. Punk sits down on the mat beside Del Rio but he’s knocked out cold. Punk pours the water on his face and brings him to. Punk says he’s going to ask Del Rio a question and has a feeling he’s going to say yes because before asking the question, he’s going to twist his arm like a pretzel with the Anaconda Vice. Punk says he’s not going to let go until Del Rio gives him the match. Punk applies the Anaconda Vice on Del Rio and yells at him to give him the match. Del Rio says yes and Punk breaks the hold as fans chant his name. Punk’s mic isn’t working right but he tells Del Rio he will see him at Survivor Series.

- We see Muppets Gonzo and Fozzie backstage talking. Gonzo says he could be a WWE Superstar if he wanted to, how hard could it be? Vickie, Swagger and Ziggler walk up. Ziggler and Swagger pull Gonzo’s arms and tie them around his head before walking off.

- Still to come tonight, John Cena vs. The Miz. Back to commercial.

- Back from the break and we go to a preview for The Muppets movie.

Santino Marella vs. Jack Swagger

We go to the ring and out comes Jack Swagger with Vickie Guerrero. Santino Marella is out next. They lock up and Swagger shoves Santino back. Santino shows off so Swagger clotheslines him and beats him down when he tries to get up. Swagger wails away with elbow shots and then does push-ups on Santino’s back.

Swagger continues the assault but runs into a boot in the corner. A “we want Ryder” chant breaks out. Swagger stops Santino’s come back with a right hand. Santino ducks a clothesline and hip tosses Swagger for a 2 count. Swagger turns things around and applies the ankle lock. Santino rolls out of it and throws Swagger into the ropes. Beaker appears from under the ring and hands Santino the special drink that Bunsen made him. Santino drinks it but spits it in Swagger’s face. Santino rolls up Swagger for the win.

Winner: Santino Marella

- Still to come, Miz vs. Cena. Back to commercial.

Zack Ryder vs. Dolph Ziggler

Back from the break and out comes Zack Ryder to a nice reaction. Out next comes the WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero, for this non-title match. The bell rings and they go at it. Ryder unloads on Ziggler early and gets a 2 count. Ziggler comes back with a dropkick. Ryder comes back with a pair of clotheslines and an elbow out of the corner. Ryder dropkicks Ziggler from the top, sending him out to the floor. Ryder leaps over the top and takes out Dolph as we go to break.

Back from the break and Ziggler has taken control of the match. Ziggler works over Ryder for a 2 count as Vickie cheers at ringside. Ryder turns things around and Dolph smacks his head hard in the corner. They get up and trade shots. Ryder plants Ziggler on his face again. Ryder wails away on Ziggler in the corner and drops him with a forearm shot to the face. Ryder fist pumps and kicks Ziggler in the face for a close 2 count. Ziggler with a jawbreaker. Ryder counters and drops Ziggler for the pin and the win. Not so fast. The referee sees Ziggler had his foot under the ropes and the match is continued. Vickie grabs Ryder’s leg and Ziggler lays him out. Ryder fights Ziggler off and hits the Ruff Ryder for the pin and the win.

Winner: Zack Ryder

- Another plug for Cena vs. Miz tonight. Up next, a look back at Kevin Nash’s attack on Triple H last week. Back to commercial we go.

- Back from the break and we see replays of Kevin Nash attacking Triple H. Cole says that Triple H will be out of action for around 4 weeks. Lawler announces that John Laurinaitis has signed Kevin Nash to a contract and Nash will be on RAW next week.

- Cole stands up on the announcer’s table and says Jim Ross isn’t here tonight. Cole says Ross is suffering from Inflamed Bowel Disease. Cole runs down Ross and pulls out a diaper, saying maybe Ross should have worn these tonight. Cole wonders if JR will show up next week to answer The Michael Cole Challenge.

- We see Walford and Statler again in the VIP area. They diss Cole.

- Miss Piggy is backstage with John Morrison rubbing his abs. Morrison introduces a single friend to Piggy and it’s Hornswoggle. He shows her his tattoo of her on his leg and tries to kiss her. She hits him and runs off. Kermit the Frog appears to see if he’s OK. Hornswoggle walks off happy. Cody Rhodes appears and puts a brown bag over Kermit’s head.

The Miz vs. John Cena

We go right to the ring for tonight’s main event and out comes The Miz for tonight’s WrestleMania Rematch main event. More comedy from Waldorf and Statler as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and out comes John Cena to a big pop from the crowd. The bell rings at 11pm and it takes them a minute or two to lock up. Cena takes Miz down with a headlock then brings him to his feet and continues the attack. Cena kicks Miz in the gut and suplexes him. Cena with a dropkick and a 1 count.

Miz ducks a clothesline and drops Cena with a big boot. Miz continues the assault and kicks Cena in the head for another 2 count. Miz keeps control of the match and clotheslines Cena in the corner. Miz goes up top and comes down with a double ax handle for a 2 count. Miz stomps and punches at Cena, then drives more knees to the back. Miz with a headlock now. Cena fights out and hits the shoulder blocks followed by the big back drop. Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle and goes for the Attitude Adjustment but Miz blocks it and hits an inverted DDT for a 2 count.

Miz misses a big running kick. Cena blocks it and goes for the STF but Miz fights free. Miz with a backbreaker combo for another 2 count. Miz calls for the Skull Crushing Finale but Cena blocks it and splashes him in the corner. Cena with a huge clothesline and another 2 count. Cena goes to the top but Miz stops him and climbs up with him. Cena overpowers Miz on the top and headbutts him back to the floor. Cena comes off the top with the big leg drop and covers for a 2 count. Cena goes for the AA but Miz blocks it and DDT’s him for a 2 count. Miz charges but Cena dumps him over the top and out to the floor. Cena follows and throws Miz into the fan barrier. Cena goes over and a man in a Scream mask pulls him from the crowd, obviously R-Truth. Cena fights the man off but Miz takes advantage and brings it back in the ring. Cena counters and applies the STF as Miz taps out for the win.

Winner: John Cena

- After the match, the man in the Scream mask runs in the ring. Cena hits him with an Attitude Adjustment and then takes the mask off to reveal R-Truth. Cena puts the mask on and tells Truth he can’t see him. RAW goes off the air with Cena celebrating in the ring.

RAW SUPERSHOW 10/24


Tonight’s WWE RAW Supershow opens up with the usual introduction video. And we’re live from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas as the pyro goes off and Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW. He’s joined by Jerry Lawler on commentary. They discuss last night’s Vengeance pay-per-view. We see stills of the collapsed ring and the Last Man Standing Match. They show the footage of Kevin Nash powerbombing Triple H.

- We go to the ring and out comes Triple H to a big pop.

The crowd chants Triple H’s name. He says it’s a tough business. He was talk early that you can either make friends or make money. He says he’s always lived by that but considered himself lucky because he’s had money and success plus his share of friends. Triple H name-drops Shawn Michaels, Sean Waltman, Kevin Nash. He says somewhere along the lines things changed. He thought he still had friends but when he got in a position of power, realized some of those friends were just there for a reason. HHH throws up the Kliq sign and the crowd pops. He talks about Nash attacking him at Vengeance and the crowd boos. HHH says he isn’t worried about his physical well being because this might sound corny, he says, but Kevin Nash broke his heart. Now, he wants to take it out on Nash.

HHH says he knows Nash is here tonight and calls him out. Triple H wants to kick his ass. The crowd chants for Triple H again as he waits for Nash. Out comes John Laurinaitis to heat from the crowd. Laurinaitis heard a rumor that Nash was in town but he also heard a rumor that Nash was at home. Triple H tells him to shut up. Laurinaitis tries to keep talking but HHH stops him. HHH tells him not to step through the ropes because he’s not in the mood. It’s not going to end well for Laurinaitis, he says. Laurinaitis keeps trying to talk but Triple H cuts him off. HHH says he is the COO and Laurinaitis still reports to him. HHH says Laurinaitis will be the guy tonight who scours the building to find Kevin Nash, then brings him to the ring. HHH doesn’t care what Laurinaitis has to do. Bring Nash here and offer him a contract, one he can’t refuse. If he doesn’t, Triple H is going to go wherever he has to and find Nash. HHH says he will go to jail and embarrass the company if he has to. HHH tells Laurinaitis again to do what he has to do to bring Nash in. HHH drops the mic and walks off. Laurinaitis tries to plead with him. HHH turns around on the stage to have words with Laurinaitis. Nash runs out and hits HHH in the back with a sledgehammer. Laurinaitis runs up the ramp and tells Nash to get out of here because he’s not supposed to be here. Security come out but Nash pushes some of them off. Laurinaitis is pissed as he checks on HHH. Officials check on HHH and help him to the back as the crowd pops. Cameras catch Nash walking through backstage and staring down some of the WWE talents. We go to replays of what just happened and come back to Triple H trying to walk on his own backstage. He takes a few steps and falls. They call for paramedics as we go to commercial.

- Back from the break and the announcers play up the seriousness of the attack on Triple H as we get more replays. We go backstage and HHH is being loaded into an ambulance. Nash appears with the sledgehammer and forces the EMT’s to put him down. Nash stands up the stretcher with HHH attached to it and leans him against a wall. Security comes over and tries to get Nash to back off but he decks HHH in the face with the sledgehammer. Security tangle with Nash and he finally backs off. HHH is laid out on the stretcher as they go to load him in the ambulance. Back to commercial.

- Back from the break and we see an ambulance rushing away to the hospital with Triple H in the back of it. We get more replays of Nash attacking Triple H tonight.

Randy Orton and Sheamus vs. Christian and Cody Rhodes

At 9:26, we finally go to the ring and out comes Randy Orton to a big pop. Out next comes his partner Sheamus. Christian is out next followed by his partner, WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes.

Christian starts things out with Orton. They go to lock up but Christian strikes first and takes it to the corner. Orton fires back with a clothesline and a big back drop. Orton does his usual stomps and locks eyes with Cody. Orton tags in Sheamus. Sheamus comes over the top rope with a shoulder for a 2 count. Sheamus presses Christian high but he slides out. Christian slaps Sheamus and tags in Cody. Cody runs in and gets backdropped. Sheamus traps Cody in the ropes now and wails away with forearm shots to the chest.

Sheamus with a clothesline and a 2 count as Cody goes to the floor. Christian leaps off the apron with a shoulder. Cody meets Sheamus coming back in the ring and takes control. 2 count for Cody. Cody with a headlock now as we take another commercial break.

Back from the break and Sheamus and Cody are in control of Sheamus. Christian goes for Killswitch but it’s countered and Christian goes down. Sheamus tags in Orton. Orton clotheslines Christian twice and powerslams him. Orton with a big neckbreaker and a 2 count. They go at it on the apron and Orton hits the second rope draping DDT. Orton goes for the RKO on Cody who attacks from behind. Orton fights him off but Christian comes over and they take Orton out. Cody comes in and stomps away on Orton. 2 count for Cody. Cody drops a knee on Orton. They trade shots and Cody dropkicks Orton. Christian is tagged back in and they double team Orton. Christian ends up coming off the top rope but Orton dropkicks him in mid-air. Sheamus comes in and unloads on Cody with clotheslines and a scoop slam. Sheamus with a clothesline in the corner and a knee to the face. Sheamus with the Irish Curse backbreaker and a 2 count.

Sheamus goes for the Celtic Cross but Christian distracts him. They go back and forth. Cody hits the Beautiful Disaster kick on Sheamus. Cody distracts the referee while Christian spears Sheamus. 2 count. Orton comes in and takes Christian out with an RKO. Cody takes Orton out of the ring. Cody goes for Beautiful Disaster on Sheamus but Sheamus barely connects with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus hits the Celtic Cross for the win.

Winners: Randy Orton and Sheamus

- We get stills of what happened in last night’s Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Title.

- John Laurinaitis is in his office on the phone. David Otunga is sitting there. Stephanie McMahon is on the other end and it sounds like she’s blaming Laurinaitis for what happened to Triple H. They hang up. John Cena interrupts Otunga and Laurinaitis. Cena tells Otunga to hit the bricks and wants words with Laurinaitis right now. Cena tells Laurinaitis to follow Zack Ryder on Twitter, take two weeks off then quit, then give him a match tonight. Cena wants The Miz and R-Truth. It’s Cena and a partner picked by Laurinaitis vs. Miz and Truth. Back to commercial.

Santino Marella vs. Dolph Ziggler

Back from commercial and Santino Marella is in the ring waiting. Out next comes the WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero and Jack Swagger.

The bell rings and Santino does the usual comedy kick attempts. More comedy from Santino and a hip toss. Dolph gets mad but Santino chases him back with the Cobra. Dolph decks Santino and starts stomping away. Ziggler connects with a dropkick and shows off as the crowd boos. Santino ducks a clothesline and hits a hip toss, followed by the headbutt to the chest. Santino calls for the Cobra but Swagger gets on the apron. Santino turns around to a Zig Zag from Ziggler for the win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

- After the match, Swagger enters the ring and they beat Santino down. Swagger puts the ankle lock on him. Mason Ryan runs out as Ziggler leaves the ring. Ryan clotheslines Swagger and hits him with a big boot. Vickie leaves with her team as Ryan helps Santino up and we go to replays.

- The Bella twins are backstage talking when Zack Ryder walks up filming his show. He’s so excited because Laurinaitis chose him to be Cena’s partner tonight.

- Up next is Alberto Del Rio’s Victory Speech after retaining the WWE Title at Vengeance. Back to commercial.

- Back from the break and Ricardo Rodriguez introduces the WWE Champion and out comes Alberto Del Rio to the ring. Del Rio talks about defeating John Cena at Vengeance and how he left him on the floor like a dying dog. Del Rio says he proved once again he is the better man. Del Rio says he’s done with Cena, he had his chance and he lost. Del Rio says he is moving on to other challengers but nobody is better than him in WWE so get used to seeing him as Champion.

CM Punk’s music hits and out he comes to a big pop.

The crowd chants for Punk as he walks down the ramp. Punk says he’s beat Del Rio multiple times, the last time being four weeks ago on RAW. Punk reminds Del Rio that he never received his one-on-one title shot after Del Rio cashed in on him. Punk asks Del Rio if he has the cojones to put the title on the line. Del Rio says he will defend against anyone worthy but Punk lost his match last night and he’s a loser. Losers don’t deserve title shots, Del Rio says. Del Rio tells Punk to come see him when he can do things right, when he gets a victory. Del Rio calls Punk a loser again and says he’s at the back of the line. The crowd chants for Punk again. Punk says maybe he doesn’t deserve it, maybe he is at the back of the line, maybe he is a loser and maybe if Del Rio isn’t willing to give him a title shot, he will just put him to sleep anyway. Laurinaitis comes walking out and says he’s fed up with everything.

Laurinaitis says this isn’t going to happen on his watch. Laurinaitis says they both make good points and he wants to give the WWE Universe what they want. Laurinaitis proposes Punk vs. Del Rio for the WWE Title at Survivor Series. Punk asks what the catch is. Laurinaitis says Punk needs to tell him he respects Laurinaitis in front of everyone. Punk asks if he’s Aretha Franklin. Punk says Laurinaitis clearly doesn’t respect him and says respect is earned, not given. Punk talks about how RAW isn’t any better with Laurinaitis in charge. Laurinaitis tells him to swallow his pride and say it. Punk sucks it up, mocks Laurinaitis’ voice and says he respects him, Funkman. Laurinaitis gives Punk one more chance to do it right. The crowd chants for Punk as he thinks about it. Punk says he respects Laurinaitis. He respects how he comes out every week with a deer in the headlights look. Punk goes on and rips Laurinaitis for his past. Punk says never in this business has anyone with so little done so much, he respects that. Laurinaitis says that’s not good enough and Punk’s not suitable for a WWE Title shot. Laurinaitis is going to take another week to think about it. Punk tells him to think about this and attacks Del Rio. Punk beats Del Rio down and goes for GTS but Ricardo makes the save. Del Rio flees the ring and leaves Ricardo. Punk hits GTS on Ricardo as Del Rio runs his mouth from the ramp and Laurinaitis looks on. Punk poses on the ropes and has words with Del Rio.

Natalya vs. Alicia Fox

Back from the break and Natalya is making her way to the ring with WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix. Beth joins Cole and Lawler on commentary. Out next comes her opponent Alicia Fox.

The bell rings and they go at it. Natalya takes Alicia’s knee out and slams her face into the mat. Natalya continues the attack and clotheslines Alicia. Natalya drops a submission on Alicia’s leg. Alicia tries to fight out of it but Natalya keeps her down. Alicia finally makes a comeback and rolls Natalya up for the win.

Winner: Alicia Fox

- After the match, we see Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly watching in the back. Natalya and Beth attack Alicia but she escapes the ring and up the ramp. Back to commercial.

John Morrison vs. Wade Barrett

Back from the break and out comes John Morrison. Out next comes his opponent Wade Barrett from SmackDown.

The bell rings and they go at it. Barrett shoves Morrison back but he comes back with a forearm. They go back and forth trading kicks and punches. Morrison dropkicks Barrett. Morrison runs the ropes but Barrett slides out to the floor. Morrison dives through the ropes and takes Barrett out. They tangle on the floor and Barrett back kicks Morrison. Barrett tosses Morrison into the fan barrier as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and Barrett is in control of the match in the ring. Barrett levels Morrison with a big boot for a 2 count. Barrett chokes Morrison on the ropes as the referee counts. Barrett with knees to the head now. Barrett charges and hits another big boot, this time knocking Morrison out of the ring.

Barrett brings it back in the ring for a 2 count. Barrett puts a knee in Morrison’s back. Morrison fights out but Barrett whips him to the corner. Morrison comes out with an elbow to the face and a clothesline. Morrison with a few kicks and a kick to the face. Morrison with the charging knee to the jaw for a 2 count. Morrison ducks a clothesline and rolls Barrett up for 2. Morrison charges but Barrett catches him in a big side slam for 2. Barrett goes for Wasteland but Morrison counters with a side leg sweep. Morrison goes for Starship Pain but lands on his feet as Barrett moves. They fight in the corner and then go to the ropes. Morrison springboards but lands on Barrett’s shoulders for a botched Wasteland. Barrett picks up Morrison and nails Wasteland for the win.

Winner: Wade Barrett

- Cole and Lawler show us replays again of what happened between Kevin Nash and Triple H earlier tonight. Cole announces that Triple H has suffered a concussion and possibly a broken neck.

- They talk about how Cole has been tweeting with Jim Ross all night. Cole says he’s had enough and stands up in his chair. Cole tells the fans in the arena that Ross has been on Twitter and WWE’s website all night running his mouth. Cole says Ross must be drunk and says Ross sent out some photographs on Twitter by accident. Cole shows photos on the big screen. One is of Ross photoshopped as the baby oil girl with the dog. Another is a photoshop pic of Ross on a exercise bike with some ribs dangling in front of him. The third is Ross in a Sooners cheerleading outfit. Cole says he has had enough of Ross and is ready to put an end to it once and for all. Cole challenges Ross to the Michael Cole Challenge for next week’s RAW in Atlanta. If Ross wins the challenge, he can have his seat back on RAW because Cole will quit.

- Zack Ryder is backstage with Josh Matthews. Ryder is excited about his first RAW main event and teaming with one of his Broskis. Miz and Truth attack Ryder from behind and beat him down. Officials finally get them to back off and tend to Ryder.

The Miz and R-Truth vs. John Cena and Zack Ryder

We go to the ring and out come The Miz and R-Truth. Miz tells them to cut the music and talks about a revolution that they have started. They mock Triple H and say he got what he deserved. Miz says when they rise up, nobody will be safe from the truth. Ryder just found that out and so did Triple H, he says. Truth says the party is just getting started. Miz says Cena can wear whatever catchphrases he wants but he can’t rise above them. That’s the truth and that’s awesome. The crowd boos as we go to commercial again.

John Cena vs. The Miz and R-Truth

Back from the break and it’s announced that John Laurinaitis has made this a handicap match. John Cena’s music hits and out he comes to a big pop.

Miz starts things out for his team. The bell rings and Cena beats Miz down and takes the fight to the corner. Cena with a fisherman’s suplex but Miz tags in Truth. Cena unloads on Truth also and takes him down. Cena with an elbow drop. Truth tags in Miz again and the crowd boos. They turn the match around and continue the tags and double teaming on Cena.

Cena suplexes Miz but he tags in Truth. Miz hits a big running kick to the head and then a clothesline in the corner. Miz goes to the top and comes down with a double ax handle. Miz chokes Cena in the corner and brings Truth back in. Truth lays out Cena but he kicks out at 2. Cena tries to make another comeback but they stop him. Cena comes back again and hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Miz. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment on Miz but Truth makes the save by hitting Cena with a water bottle for the DQ.

Winner by DQ: John Cena

- After the match, Truth and Miz beat Cena down. Miz lays Cena out with a Skull Crushing Finale and Truth hits his finisher. Miz and Truth bring steel chairs in the ring but Laurinaitis comes out with referees and tells them to stop. He’s tired of being disrespected and not going to stand for it. Laurinaitis tells them to get out of the ring and they argue. Laurinaitis tells the referees to walk them to the back. Laurinaitis tells them to stop and has an idea for a match. He’s going to let Cena pick his partner this time. It will be Cena and a partner of his choice vs. The Miz and R-Truth at Survivor Series. Cena takes the mic and the crowd chants for The Rock. Cena says he’s sick of The Miz and Truth. Cena says he’s not doing this out of friendship but if he’s going to defeat Miz and Truth, his partner is going to be someone who can bring it. The crowd pops and chants Rocky. Cena sends the invite out and says he chooses The Rock as his partner.

RAW SUPERSHOW 10/17


Tonight’s WWE RAW Supershow kicks off with the normal opening videos before the pyro goes off and Michael Cole welcomes us to Mexico City for the first-ever RAW tapings from Mexico.

- We go to the ring and Justin Roberts introduces John Laurinaitis. The crowd boos as Laurinaitis makes his way to the ring as we see a replay from last week where Triple H was relieved of his duties.

Laurinaitis introduces himself to the crowd. He says tonight marks the return of Rey Mysterio and the crowd pops. Returning to San Diego to see his doctor, Laurinaitis says. He won’t be here tonight. The crowd boo’s and Laurinaitis says he was just kidding. Laurinaitis says the Mexican people have no sense of humor. He says while the Board looks for a permanent General Manager, he will see to it that he does his job right. Laurinaitis says he won’t let the Board down and won’t let the fans down. Laurinaitis talks about firing Jim Ross last week. Laurinaitis introduces Ross and out he comes to a nice reaction from the crowd.

Ross goes to take a seat on commentary but Laurinaitis asks him to come in the ring for a public apology. Laurinaitis hugs Ross and the crowd boos him. Laurinaitis plays it up and says he didn’t bring Ross to commentate tonight. Laurinaitis shows footage from last week during commercial where Michael Cole led Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez in singing goodbye to Ross. Laurinaitis thinks that Ross and Cole should settle their differences on RAW tonight. Laurinaitis announces Cole and Del Rio vs. Ross and John Cena for tonight. JR’s music hits and he has words with Cole from the ring.

Randy Orton, Sheamus and John Morrison and vs. Christian, Mark Henry and Cody Rhodes

Randy Orton’s music hits and out he comes to a monster ovation from the crowd. Orton poses for the crowd as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and we see a replay from last week of Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. The match is announced for Vengeance. John Morrison makes his way out to the ring followed by Sheamus. Out next comes Christian followed by WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry. Orton starts the match out with Christian. They go to lock up and Christian kicks Orton. Orton comes back with a leapfrog and a big clothesline. Orton mounts Christian with right hands in the corner.

Orton with a big uppercut and a tag to Sheamus. Christian tags in Rhodes. They lock up and Cody applies a headlock. Sheamus breaks it and drops him with a shoulder. Sheamus works Cody over in the corner now and beats him down with forearm shots and then stomps. Cody ends up knocking Orton off the ramp. Sheamus back drops Cody. Orton and Cody end up on the floor brawling. They fight up the ramp and Orton chases Cody to the back as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Henry is working over Morrison. Christian comes in off the top but misses a crossbody. Morrison springboards and hits one for a 2 count. Morrison with a kick to the face and another 2 count. Christian goes for Killswitch but Morrison blocks it. Morrison takes Christian down for another 2 count. Christian with a neckbreaker and tag to Henry. Henry comes in and continues to beat up Morrison. Henry stands on Morrison’s chest and tags Christian back in. Christian tries to stop the tag but Morrison kicks him in the head. Henry comes in and stops Morrison from tagging Sheamus. Henry applies a bear hug to Morrison now.

Henry rams Morrison back into the corner. Henry charges but gets caught with an elbow and a kick. Morrison goes for a tornado DDT and ends up on the apron. Morrison pulls Henry’s neck down over the ropes, comes in and takes his knee out. Christian runs over and stops Sheamus from tagging. Sheamus and Christian brawl up into the crowd. Back in the ring, Morrison dodges Henry and kicks him off the second rope. Morrison hits kicks and punches. Henry catches him off the ropes, lifts him and nails the World’s Strongest Slam for the win.

Winners: Mark Henry, Christian and Cody Rhodes

- Still to come tonight, CM Punk vs. The Miz and the tag team main event. Back to commercial we go.

- Back from the break and we get another Brodus Clay vignette.

- John Laurinaitis is backstage on the phone with his wife. The Bella Twins walk up and each take an arm. They want to make sure he hasn’t forgot how important they are to RAW. Laurinaitis says he hasn’t, they kiss him and walk off. He calls his wife back and apologizes for hanging up so fast. Ricardo Rodriguez walks up and Laurinaitis shrugs him off. Alberto Del Rio walks up and isn’t happy about teaming with Michael Cole tonight to face John Cena and Jim Ross. Laurinaitis reveals that the winner of tonight’s match picks the stipulation for the WWE Title match at Vengeance.

Eve Torres vs. Natalya

We go to the ring and out comes Eve Torres with Kelly Kelly. Eve vs. Beth Phoenix for the Divas Title at Vengeance is announced. Out next comes Natalya with Phoenix by her side. They lock up and Natalya takes it to the corner. Natalya with uppercuts. Eve fights out of the corner but gets clotheslined for a 2 count.

Natalya locks Eve in a submission but she fights out. Eve counters a move and goes for a roll up but Natalya stomps on her. Natalya spanks Eve now as Kelly looks on. Natalya grabs Eve’s face and talks trash before slamming her face into the mat. Natalya continues the assault. Eve comes back with an elbow but misses a springboard kick. Eve counters a slam and lays Natalya out. Eve goes up top for a moonsault and nails it for the win.

Winner: Eve Torres

- After the match, Beth runs in the ring and goes for Eve but Eve runs off to the ramp with Kelly.

- Up next after the commercial is The Miz vs. CM Punk.

CM Punk vs. The Miz

We go to the ring and out comes CM Punk to a big pop from the crowd. Out next comes The Miz with R-Truth and they rap “U-Suck” on the way to the ring. They enter the ring and Miz taunts Punk on the mic. Miz says he remembers they were the ones who gave him a beating at Hell in a Cell. Miz talks about how they made sure he doesn’t get a WWE Title shot for a long time and how they did something he couldn’t do – had Triple H removed from running RAW. Truth tells Punk that he talks too much and they can’t stand someone who runs their mouth. Truth tells Punk he won’t be smiling when Miz kicks his ass tonight and he won’t be smiling at Vengeance. Truth says Vengeance is gone get got and that’s awesome, adds Miz. Triple H’s music hits and out he comes to a big pop also.

The WWE COO comes out in a suit and takes off his tie as he enters the ring. Triple H and Punk square off against Miz and Truth as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and they lock up. Punk takes Miz to the mat. Miz makes it to the ropes and breaks the hold. Punk applies a headlock now and they trade holds. Punk slams Miz for a 1 count. Miz turns it around with a headlock and takes Punk down this time as the crowd boos. They run the ropes and Miz drops Punk with a shoulder. Punk leapfrogs and dropkicks Miz. Miz rolls out to the floor to regroup. Punk dives through the ropes and takes out Miz to a big pop. Punk brings Miz back in. Punk springboards in from the apron for another 2 count. Punk with chops in the corner now. Punk goes for the high knee but misses and lands out on the floor. Truth stalks Punk on the floor but Triple H runs over to make sure he doesn’t attack. Punk comes to the apron and drops Miz over the top rope. Punk springboards in with a clothesline for a 2 count.

Punk takes Miz from corner to corner and then kicks him in the back. 2 count for Punk. Punk with more chops in the corner and an elbow to the head. Miz comes back with a kick and a big left hand. Miz kicks Punk around. Punk gets up and fires away with kicks. Truth grabs Punk’s leg. Miz attacks while Punk is distracted. Triple H enters the ring and argues with the referee. Truth and Miz double team Punk while he isn’t looking. Miz runs and kicks Punk in the head for another 2 count. Miz goes back to the headlock now as the crowd chants for Punk.

Miz continues and hits the clothesline in the corner. Miz goes up to the top and comes crashing down on Punk’s back. Miz beats Punk down with forearms now and puts him in a chinlock. Punk fights back and nails a backdrop. Punk charges but Miz kicks him in the face. Miz goes back up to the top but Punk spin kicks him on the way down. Miz grabs Punk and throws him out to the floor. Miz distracts the referee while Truth smashes a water bottle in Punk’s face. Triple H runs over and chases Truth up to the ramp. John Laurinaitis and men in suits come out. Laurinaitis has a document and says there’s some kind of immigration problem. Laurinaitis says Triple H has to leave with the men to go to deal with some kind of immigration matter. Triple H finally agrees and walks off with the men as the crowd boos. On the way up the ramp, Truth taunts Triple H. Triple H stops and lays him out with a big right hand as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and we see footage from during the commercial where Triple H was escorted out of the building by immigration officials. Laurinaitis says his papers were incorrect or something. David Otunga appears beside with Laurinaitis and watches Triple H get escorted out. We go back to the ring and Miz has a headlock on Punk. Punk fights free and fires away with more kicks. Punk with a pair of clotheslines and a neckbreaker. Punk hits the high knee in the corner. Punk goes up top and comes down with the big elbow drop. Punk calls for GTS but Truth comes in. Punk goes back and forth and finally rolls Miz up for the win.

Winner: CM Punk

- After the match, Truth comes back in and they double team Punk. The assault goes on as the crowd boos. Referees come out. Truth and Miz back off, wanting no trouble with officials. Miz and Truth make their exit as Punk tries to recover in the ring. Truth runs back down to the ring and drops Punk on his face. Miz runs down also and tries to play the peacemaker. Miz runs over and hits Punk with a Skull Crushing Finale. Officials finally get Miz to leave the ring as we go to commercial.

- Back from the break and there’s a mariachi band outside playing. Cole introduces us to the Spanish announce team at ringside. Cole plugs the WWE network coming in 2012. The results of the WrestleMania show on the WWE network are revealed. WrestleMania Rewind won the vote with 39.32% and that will be the first show on the network. Cole stands up to stretch and has a hand grip that he’s using to work out.

Jack Swagger vs. Zack Ryder

We go to the ring and out comes Jack Swagger, WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero. Vickie asks everyone to excuse her and gets boo’d as usual. Vickie says she is considered a goddess in Mexico. She says she is the Angelina Jolie of Mexico City but without the adopted brats. Vickie says she is more than just a pretty face. She says John Laurinaitis has given Swagger and Ziggler a shot against Air Boom’s tag team titles at Vengeance. Ziggler takes the mic and rips on the crowd, putting himself over as the champion of the United States of America. Swagger asks everyone to stand so he can sing America’s National Anthem. Swagger starts singing and the crowd doesn’t like it at all.

Swagger gets pissed at the crowd before his opponent Zack Ryder comes out to a decent pop. Ryder has his camera and is filming footage for his show. They lock up and Swagger slams Ryder hard. Swagger with a big splash in the corner and a bunch of right hands. Swagger charges but Ryder connects with knees to the face. Ryder hits the Ruff Ryder for the quick win out of nowhere.

Winner: Zack Ryder

- After the bell, Ziggler rushes the ring but Ryder escapes to the floor. Ziggler and Swagger try to corner Ryder on the floor but out comes Mason Ryan. Mason hits the ring and Ryder joins him. Vickie, Swagger and Ziggler head up the ramp. Mason takes the mic and reminds Ziggler that they have a match. A referee comes down and orders Ziggler to the ring as we go to commercial.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Mason Ryan

Back from the break and Mason shoves Ziggler to the mat, sending him out to the floor. Ziggler comes back in the ring and fires away with right hands. Ryan out of nowhere knocks Ziggler down hard and out to the floor he goes again. Ziggler comes back in but Mason blocks him. Mason tosses Ziggler up on the top turnbuckle and knocks him back to the floor.

Ziggler comes back in with right hands and a dropkick. Mason blocks him again and scoop slams him. Mason with a huge boot and out Ziggler goes to the floor once again. Mason follows him this time but Vickie gets in the way. Vickie slaps Mason as Ziggler runs back in the ring. Ryan gets pissed and rushes the ring. Mason hits a big clothesline and then another in the corner. Mason stomps away on Ziggler and continues the attack in the corner. He won’t stop, causing the referee to disqualify him.

Winner by DQ: Dolph Ziggler

- After the bell, Mason presses Ziggler over his head but drops him when Swagger comes in. Mason knocks Swagger to the floor and goes back to Ziggler. Mason hits a huge powerslam as Vickie looks on upset. Zack Ryder is at ringside and follows Mason up the ramp.

- We see Jim Ross backstage getting ready when John Cena walks in. Ross says he’s almost 60 and a grandpa, last thing he needs is to be in a match. Ross is worried about causing Cena trouble for Vengeance. Cena puts JR over as a Hall of Famer. Cena isn’t worried about tonight or Vengeance. JR says he would like to get his hands on Cole and calls him a bunch of names. Ross and Cena shake hands as Cena walks off.

- Cole takes the mic in the arena and disses what we just saw. Cole runs down JR and says he’s going to the back to get ready. Cole says he might even pin John Cena tonight. Cole tells the crowd his wife is Mexican so they have to cheer for him. Cole walks off and we go back to commercial.

Alberto Del Rio and Michael Cole vs. Jim Ross and John Cena

Ricardo Rodriguez begins the introduction for Alberto Del Rio as the WWE Champion drives into the arena to a pretty big pop from the crowd. Back to commercial we go as Del Rio makes his way to the ring.

Back from the break and out comes Michael Cole in a singlet and headgear. Jim Ross makes his way out next in a Sooners jersey, black pants and his trademark cowboy hat. Out next comes John Cena to another monster pop from the crowd.

Cena starts things out for his team and Cole wants to start with him. Cena tags in JR and here we go. Cole runs his mouth as JR puts up his dukes. JR smacks Cole in the side of the head and knocks him down. Cole tags in Del Rio as Ross tags in Cena. The crowd cheers as Cena and Del Rio lock up. Del Rio with a headlock. Cena leapfrogs and hits a big hip toss for a 1 count. Cena applies a headlock now. Cena runs the ropes but Del Rio hip tosses him for a 2 count this time. Del Rio with another headlock.

Cena breaks free and backdrops Del Rio. 2 count for Cena. Cena with another headlock. Del Rio breaks free with a backdrop this time and another 2 count. Del Rio goes back to a headlock, yes another, and rakes Cena’s face. Cena breaks the hold with a big suplex and another 2 count. Cena charges in the corner but Del Rio moves and kicks Cena in the back. Del Rio takes Cena back to the corner and works him over on the ropes. Cole gets in a cheap shot while the referee isn’t looking. Del Rio stands on Cena and distracts the referee as Cole taunts Cena. Del Rio knocks Cena down on the apron with a right hand. Del Rio with another kick and a 2 count.

Del Rio goes to the top and comes down with a forearm on Cena for a 2 count. Del Rio with another kick to the back. Del Rip whips Cena hard into the corner and mocks him some more. Del Rio with a suplex and another pin attempt. Del Rio with a flurry of right hands and another headlock. Cena breaks out of a hold but Del Rio kicks him in the gut. Cena catches him in an Attitude Adjustment but Del Rio counters it for a pin attempt. Del Rio with more kicks to the back and another hold. Cena breaks free again and goes for the STF but Del Rio blocks it. Del Rio connects with a backbreaker for another 2 count.

Del Rio waits on Cena to get up, runs and kicks him in the head. Another 2 count for Del Rio. Del Rio goes to the top and comes down with a back splash but Cena moves. Cena comes back with the shoulder blocks and the back drop. Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Del Rio gets up and tags in Cole. Cena pulls Cole into the ring. Cole begs Cena not to hit him. Cole extends his hand to Cena and Cena thinks about it. Cena hits Cole with an Attitude Adjustment and goes for the STF but stops. Cens tags in JR. Ross comes in and puts the ankle lock on Cole for the win.


Winners: John Cena and Jim Ross

- After the match, Del Rio pulls Cena out to the floor. Cena lays Del Rio out on the floor with an Attitude Adjustment. Cena takes the mic and starts counting. Cena attacks Del Rio with the steel steps and lays him out again. Cena counts to ten tis time and announces that their match at Vengeance will be a Last Man Standing match for the WWE Title. Del Rio tries to recover at ringside as Cena’s music hits. RAW goes off the air with Cena posing for the fans.

STORYLINE UPDATE ON MIZ-R TRUTH-TRIPLE H- JOHN LAURINAITIS


WWE’s website posted a video of Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis backstage last night talking about his new job. Laurinaitis stressed that the gig is temporary and he would not be quitting his job as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations.

In keeping with the storylines, Laurinaitis was tweeting back and forth with The Miz last night after RAW. Laurinaitis thanked The Miz and R-Truth for dropping their lawsuit against WWE.

It was also noted on WWE’s website that Triple H had just been relieved of his duties running RAW. Apparently The Game is still the WWE COO, in the storylines at least.

WWE HELL IN A CELL 2011 RESULTS


WWE’s 2011 Hell in a Cell pay-per-view opens up with a vignette for tonight’s title matches that will take place in the Cell – Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry and CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena.

- And we’re live from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA as the pyro goes off and Michael Cole welcomes us to Hell in a Cell. Cole is joined by Jim Ross and Booker T tonight. Cole says Jerry Lawler is still out dealing with injuries.

Sheamus vs. Christian

Christian comes out for the opener. We see The Miz and R-Truth, who have tickets in hand, make their way through the crowd and take a seat at ringside. John Laurinaitis comes out and argues with them, leading to security escorting Truth and Miz back through the crowd and out of the arena. Sheamus comes out next as we get ready for tonight’s opener.

The bell rings and they lock up. Sheamus takes it to the corner but breaks away as Christian stalls on the apron. They lock up again and Sheamus slams Christian down face first to the mat. Sheamus takes Christian down with a side headlock and a 2 count. Sheamus with another takedown and more headlock pin attempts. Sheamus with a big slam and another 2 count. Sheamus locks Christian in the ropes but he fights off. Sheamus comes right back after a slap to the face and chases him around the ring. Sheamus wails away with forearm shots to the chest for a 2 count.

Christian comes off the second rope but Sheamus catches him in mid-air and slams him hard. Sheamus climbs to the top but Christian pushes him off to the floor. Christian follows to the floor and beats Sheamus back into the ring. Christian with more right hands and kicks. Christian chokes him on the ropes now as the referee counts. Christian continues the offense. Sheamus fights back but Christian hits a missile dropkick for a 2 count. Christian slaps Sheamus now. Sheamus comes back full force and beats Christian to the mat. Sheamus starts dropping knees as the crowd cheers him.

Sheamus with a pair of clotheslines and a big slam for another 2 count. Sheamus with a kick to the gut. Sheamus goes for a press slam but Christian slides out. Christian goes for Killswitch but Sheamus fights him off. Christian comes back again but Sheamus hits a backbreaker after catching him in mid-air. 2 count for Sheamus. Christian comes back with right hands and goes to the top. Sheamus catches him and climbs up also. Christian knocks him back to the mat. Sheamus charges in the corner but Christian moves and kicks him in the head. Christian nails a tornado DDT from the corner for a 1 count.

Christian goes for the Killswitch again but Sheamus blocks it and clotheslines him in the corner. Sheamus with a running knee to the head. Christian makes another comeback but Sheamus kicks his legs out. Sheamus pulls himself up to the top turnbuckle and leaps down with a big shoulderblock. Sheamus goes for a Brogue kick but Christian sidesteps. Sheamus comes in from the apron with a shoulder to the gut. Christian goes under his legs and trips him, sending Sheamus face first into the apron. Sheamus comes back and drops Christian’s head on the floor. Sheamus blocks a shove into the ringpost but turns around to a spear on the floor. Christian gets back in the ring as the referee counts.

Sheamus makes it back in at the 8 count but Christian spears him for another 2 count. Christian climbs back to the top and goes for a diving headbutt but Sheamus moves. Sheamus goes for the Celtic Cross but Christian counters with a Killswitch attempt. Sheamus blocks it and hits a Brogue kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus

- Matt Striker is backstage trying to interview World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry. Henry tells him to shut up and starts mocking him. Henry says it doesn’t matter where he faces Randy Orton – the Cell or a back alley – either way he’s going to join the Hall of Pain.

Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara

We go to the ring and out first comes Sin Cara, wearing the blue and gold. The Sin Cara music begins to play again but it’s got a different intro. The other Sin Cara in black and silver comes out next and hits the ring.

The bell rings and they lock up. Black Cara takesdown first and stands on Blue Cara’s back. Submission into a 2 count by Black Cara. Blue Cara fights out with arm drags and they square off. They go to lock up but Black Cara pushes Blue to the mat and they trade holds. Back to their feet for another face off. They lock up for a test of strength and go to the mat. More pin attempts traded and holds before another face off. Another back and forth sequence with counters and another face off as the crowd claps.

They run the ropes and Blue Cara arm drags Black Cara right out of the ring, then leaps over the ropes and down onto his opponent. Blue Cara baseball slides into Black Cara, sending him back to the floor. Blue Cara goes for a moonsault from the apron but misses Black Cara. Black Cara takes advantage and kicks him before bringing it back in the ring. Black springboards into the ring for a 2 count. Black Cara with a headlock now. Blue Cara tries to make a springboard comeback but Black dropkicks him in the head, barely connecting, then covers for a 2 count. Black Cara with more kicks to the back. Black Cara with big knife chops in the corner now. Black Cara knocks Blue off the apron with a forearm shots to the face and then leaps over the ropes with a big splash.

More back and forth action. Black Cara with a backbreaker and another 2 count. Black Cara with another headlock and then more kicks to the back. More back and forth until they collide in mid-air. The crowd boo’s and a boring chant breaks out. Blue Cara fires back with kicks and misses a springboard back elbow. Black Cara ends up on the floor while Blue leaps from the top rope and takes him out. Back in the ring he gets a 2 count. A roll-up by Blue Cara now for another 2 count. Black Cara kicks Blue and powerbombs him for a 2 count. Black Cara stomps and goes to the top. Blue meets him and climbs up with him. Blue Cara hits the arm drag from the top rope and charges in the corner, kicking Black in the face. Blue goes to the top and rolls through on a senton. They run the ropes again and Blue Cara counters, turning a roll-up into a powerbomb for the pin and the win.

Winner: Blue Sin Cara

- CM Punk is backstage when David Otunga walks in. Otunga reminds Punk he graduated from Harvard and talks about how he’s representing the rights of all WWE stars, including Punk. Punk says he doesn’t need a lawyer, he’s got his own voice. Punk says he’s winning the WWE Title tonight and won’t be changing his mind. Punk says he loves Otunga’s bow-tie and sweater but hates lawyers. Punk tells him to go away.

WWE Tag Team Title Match: Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger vs. Air Boom

We go to the ring and out come the WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne. Vickie Guerrero is introduced next and comes out asking everyone to excuse her. Vickie calls her clients the next WWE Tag Team Champions and out comes Jack Swagger and his partner United States Champion Dolph Ziggler.

The bell rings and it’s Swagger starting the match off with Kofi. They lock up and Swagger takes Kofi to the ropes with a headlock. They lock up again and Kofi applieos a headlock. They run the ropes and Swagger drops Kofi with a shoulder. Kofi ends up taking Swagger down and getting a 1 count. Kofi with a big uppercut and a tag to Bourne for some double teaming. Bourne with a 2 count. Swagger comes back and slams Bourne hard before tagging in Ziggler.

Bourne attacks Ziggler with kicks and takes him down for a 2 count. Kofi is tagged back in for some double teaming and another 2 count. Another tag to Bourne for an assisted head scissors takedown. Bourne dropkicks Ziggler and covers for another 2 count. Ziggler finally makes the tag to Swagger. Swagger works Bourne over in the corner with shoulder thrusts as Vickie cheers on. Swagger tosses Bourne across the ring and covers for another 2 count. Swagger slaps Bourne and pushes him into the corner before tagging Ziggler back in. Ziggler takes Bourne back down, drops an elbow and covers him for 2. Ziggler charges in the corner but Bourne moves out of the way and tags in Kofi. Kofi runs the ropes but Swagger pulls the rope down, sending Kofi outside to the floor hard.

Ziggler brings Kofi back int he ring for a 2 count. Ziggler with a submission hold now. More offense from Ziggler and a cheap shot from Swagger while the referee isn’t looking. Ziggler tags in Swagger and he beats Kofi back down with right hands. Kofi fights back with a kick to the head and shots to the gut. Swagger beats him back down and knocks Bourne off the apron. Ziggler stomps away on Kofi while the referee isn’t looking. Swagger covers for a 2 count.

Ziggler is tagged back in to continue the attack on Kofi. Dolph taunts Bourne and drops a big elbow on Kofi for a 2 count. Swagger comes back in and stops Kofi from tagging. Swagger goes for the ankle lock but Kofi rolls out of it. Swagger picks Kofi on his shoulder. Kofi turns it around and drops Swagger with a big DDT. Bourne comes in as does Ziggler. Bourne unloads with kicks on Ziggler and knocks Swagger off the apron. Bourne goes to the top and leaps down with knees to the face. 2 count on Ziggler. Ziggler tries to come back but Bourne blocks the leg drop and hits a standing moonsault for 2. Swagger comes in and puts the ankle lock on Bourne. Kofi leaps off the top rope and takes out Swagger. Ziggler takes out Kofi. Bourne rolls up Ziggler but the referee wasn’t looking and it’s only a 2 count. Ziggler clotheslines Bourne and tags Swagger back in. Swagger goes to the second rope while Ziggler puts Bourne on his shoulders. Swagger goes for a powerbomb from the top but Bourne turns it into a hurricanrana for the win as Kofi pulls Ziggler out of the ring.

Winners: Air Boom

– We see the Cell being lowered over the ring before a video package for tonight’s World Heavyweight Title match.

Hell in a Cell for the World Heavyweight Title: Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry

We go to the ring and out first comes the World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry. Henry gets a feel for the Cell structure before making his way in. Henry enters the ring and raises his World Title high in the air. Out next comes Randy Orton to a big pop from the New Orleans crowd.

Orton enters the Cell, and the ring before we get formal ring introductions. The door on the Cell is locked as the bell rings and Orton strikes first. Orton attacks with right hands and forearm shots, knocking Henry to one knee. Orton kicks Henry out to the floor and goes to throw him into the steel of the Cell. Henry overpowers him and stops the Cell shot. Henry picks Orton on his shoulder and goes to torpedo him into the Cell. Orton counters and shoves Henry into the wall face first. Orton clotheslines Henry on the floor and stomps on him.

Orton brings it back in the ring and stomps on Henry. Orton drops a big knee and then goes for the second-rope draping DDT. Henry fights it off and slams Orton into the turnbuckles. Henry follows Orton to the floor and pulls his shoulder into the ringpost. Orton comes back and takes Henry to one knee again. Orton kicks Henry from the apron and staggers him around the Cell. Orton leaps from the apron but Henry catches him and rams him back into the Cell, then the ringpost and Orton goes down. Henry brings it back in the ring and Orton comes back with a right hand. Henry scoops him and nails a big running powerslam for a 2 count.

Henry follows Orton to the floor and they go at it. Henry scoops Orton up on his shoulder and slams him down hard on the floor. Henry puts his boot on Orton’s throat now. Henry takes the steel steps apart and slams Orton head first into the Cell. Henry grabs the top part of the steps and throws them like it’s nothing at Orton’s head. Orton moves out of the way and the steps collide with the Cell. Orton fights back with kicks and punches now. Henry clubs him with forearm shots. Henry scoops Orton again and rams him head first into the side of the Cell. Henry welcomes Orton to his hell and tells him he runs this.

Henry smears Orton’s face into the Cell before they bring it back in the ring. Orton fights back with kicks but Henry clotheslines him hard in the corner. Henry hits a big splash in the middle of the ring but Orton kicks out at 2. Henry drops Orton over his knee with a big backbreaker, then another. Henry with a 2 count. Henry locks in a bear hug now as Orton goes down to one knee. Henry rams Orton back into the corner and stands on his chest. Henry goes back to a bear hug to wear Orton down. Orton fights out with right hands but Henry headbutts him. Henry takes it back to the floor. Henry goes for the World’s Strongest Slam on the floor but Orton slides out and climbs the cage. Orton unloads on Henry and lays him out on the floor. Orton beats Henry around the Cell. Henry rolls back in the ring and in comes Orton. Orton with a Thesz press and series of big right hands.

Orton hits a nice standing dropkick, then the second-rope draping DDT. Orton hits the mat and preps for the RKO. Orton nails the RKO but Henry kicks out at 2. Orton waits on Henry to get back up and readies for the punt kick. Henry gets up and catches Orton with a World’s Strongest Slam for the pin and the win.

Winner: Mark Henry

– The Cell rises above the ring as Henry exits with his World Heavyweight Title. Orton gets to one knee in the ring. Henry goes under the ring and pulls a chair out, bringing it in the ring. Henry attacks Orton and hits a World’s Strongest Slam. Henry wraps the chair around Orton’s leg and climbs to the second rope. Henry goes for a big splash but Orton moves. Orton grabs the chair and attacks Henry with it. Henry rolls out of the ring but Orton chases after him and cracks him in the back with the chair repeatedly. Henry kicks Orton in the gut and blocks another chairshot. Henry runs off to the back as Orton gets to his feet. Orton slams the chair down before his music hits and we go to replays.

Cody rips on the New Orleans fans. Cody says the cursed Intercontinental Title should be put rest and places it inside of one of the brown bags. Cody has one of his lackies hand him a velvet bag to reveal the classic white Intercontinental Title. Cody talks about greats held the title such as Bret Hart, Ricky Steamboat, Randy Savage and Steve Austin. The crowd pops at the title returning. Cody says he will wear the title in honor of those men but will wear it with more pride and dignity than any of them. Cody puts the title on and says he will defend the title to any man, any time and any place. John Laurinaitis comes out and introduces himself to everyone.

Laurinaitis apologizes but says Triple H ordered him to come out and make this match. Out comes John Morrison.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: John Morrison vs. Cody Rhodes

Morrison makes his entrance as Cody is going to be wrestling in slacks and button-up. Morrison attacks after the bell but Cody goes to the corner. Morrison with a roll up for a 2 count. Morrison takes Cody back down for another pin attempt. Headlock takedown by Morrison now.

They run the ropes and Cody misses a dropkick. Morrison takes him back to the mat and keeps control of the match. Morrison with a shoulder block and Cody rolls out of the ring. Cody takes his button-up shirt off and turns around to a baseball slide kick from Morrison. Morrison throws Cody’s shirt to the crowd and uppercuts him. Morrison brings it back in the ring but Cody rolls right back out and walks off. Morrison attacks him from behind and brings it back to the ringside area. Cody uppercuts Morrison down. Cody grabs onto the ringpost and is going to let the referee count him out. Morrison comes back over and kicks him in the head, throwing him back in at the 8 count. Cody attacks Morrison as he enters the ring and drops him on his front side. Cody stomps away on Morrison’s head now.

Morrison fights out of a headlock but Cody takes him back down. Cody continues the attack but Morrison rolls him up for a 2 count. Cody comes right back with a clothesline. Cody slaps Morrison around now and taunts the crowd. Cody locks on a Figure Four as Morrison tries to break it. Morrison makes it to the ropes and breaks the hold but is holding his knee. Cody with right hands and a knee drop to the face. Morrison turns it around and unloads with elbows and right hands in the corner. Morrison with a pair of clotheslines and a heel kick to the face. Morrison with a close 2 count. Morrison goes for Starship Pain but Cody stops him. Morrison kicks Cody in the gut but misses the running kick. They go back and forth until Morrison kicks Cody in the head and he goes down. Morrison misses a springboard kick and Cody rolls him up for the pin and the win.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

– Triple H is backstage on the phone when John Laurinaitis runs up. Triple H is pissed at him for making matches without his permission. Laurinaitis says Air Boom are being attacked. The Miz and R-Truth are in their locker room beating them up before running off. Alex Riley and Ezekiel Jackson tend to the champs, who are down, as Triple H yells at Laurinaitis some more for not having proper security.

WWE Divas Title Match: Beth Phoenix vs. Kelly Kelly

We go to the ring and out first comes Beth Phoenix with Natalya. WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly is out next with Eve Torres. The cable feed goes out for a minute but when it comes back on, Beth is beating down on Kelly as Natalya cheers her on. Beth with a headlock takedown. Kelly tries to make a comeback but gets slammed hard. Beth continues and then spanks the Divas champion. Beth with a backbreaker now. Beth keeps in control and hits a suplex.

Beth with a 2 count and a series of punches. Another 2 count. Kelly tries to make a comeback again but Beth kicks out. Beth with another pin attempt as Natalya cheers her on. Beth kicks Kelly and then chokes her on the ropes as the referee counts. Kelly comes back with a neckbreaker and a forearm shot. Kelly tries for a roll up but Beth sits down on her for her own pin attempt. They trade pin attempt and go back and forth. Beth grabs her for the Glam Slam but Kelly counters out of the corner. Kelly goes for a backslide pin but Beth rams her back in the corner. Beth with back elbow shots in the corner now. Beth charges in the corner but Kelly moves. Kelly handsprings into the corner with a back elbow and connects. Kelly goes to the top and plants Beth with a bulldog. 2 count for Kelly.

Eve comes over and stops Natalya from getting involved. Beth slams Kelly hard and applies her new submission hold. Natalya takes the mic and tells Kelly to scream louder. Natalya continues to taunt Kelly. The hold is broken but Natalya decks Kelly with the mic while the referee isn’t looking. Beth hits the Glam Slam for the win and the title.

Hell in a Cell for the WWE Title: Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk vs. John Cena

Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio as Del Rio is all business making his way inside the Cell. Out next comes CM Punk to a nice pop from the crowd. WWE Champion John Cena is out last as we get ready for formal ring introductions and the bell.

The bell rings and Punk goes for Del Rio but Del Rio slides out to the floor. Punk chases Del Rio around and into the ring. Del Rio avoids Cena in the ring and goes back out to the floor. Del Rio ends up in the ring while Cena and Punk are on the floor now. Punk comes in and tangles with Del Rio. Cena attacks from behind but Del Rio goes back to the floor. He comes back in but Cena beats him down. Punk pulls Cena off and wails away on Del Rio. Punk and Cena take turns on Del Rio in the corner. Punk rolls Cena up from behind for a 2 count.

More back and forth action. They end up on the floor and Punk pulls out a chair from under the ring. Cena goes at it with Punk on the floor and knocks him down hard into the Cell wall. They continue on the floor before bringing it back in the ring. Punk in control with a pair of 2 counts. Punk goes back under the ring, smiles and brings a table out. Punk sets it up on the floor. Punk runs to Cena on the apron and hits a big running knee. Punk goes to bulldog Cena from the apron to the table but Cena just shoves him face first into the Cell wall.

Cena turns around in the ring to a big chair shot from Del Rio. Del Rio stomps away on Cena and picks the chair back up. Del Rio props the chair up and back drops Cena on top of it for a 2 count. Del Rio with more kicks to Cena. Del Rio rams his knee in Cena’s face and taunts him. Del Rio takes Cena to the top rope and hits him in the back with a forearm shot. Cena ends up upside down in the corner as Del Rio works him over. Del Rio charges with a shoulder thrust but hits the ring post when Cena pulls himself up and out of the way. Cena goes to the top but Punk hits the ropes and knocks him off. Punk comes in and side suplexes Del Rio for a 2 count. Punk with another sit down suplex for a 2 count.

Del Rio hits Punk with a clothesline out of nowhere for a 2 count. Del Rio applies a headlock on Punk and keeps him grounded. Cena runs in and gets a 2 count on Del Rio then one on Punk. Punk comes back and sends Del Rio to the floor with a kick to the head. Punk and Cena both are down now. More back and forth. Del Rio takes out Punk and Cena with a chair. Del Rio hits Cena again and sets the chair on his chest. Del Rio stomps it into Cena then stacks Punk on top of Cena and the chair. Del Rio goes up top and splashes down hard onto Cena, Punk and the chair. Del Rio with a 2 count on Punk and a 2 count on Cena. Del Rio goes for the armbreaker on Punk but he blocks it and backdrops Del Rio over the ropes. Del Rio lands hard on the steps and is out on the floor. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment on Cena and hits it but Del Rio runs in and breaks the pin at a 2 count.

Del Rio drops Cena with a kick to the back of the head and covers him for 2. Del Rio applies an armbreaker on Cena but Cena fights it off. Punk comes in and breaks it up. Punk kicks Del Rio out to the floor and goes for GTS on Cena. Punk nails it but Cena kicks out at 2 as Del Rio breaks the pin. Del Rio rams Punk into the Cell and then the ring steps. Del Rio grabs the chair and hits Punk in the knee with it before stepping on his face. Del Rio comes back in the ring and goes for Cena. Cena rolls him up for a 2 count. Del Rio clotheslines Cena and then kicks him out of the ring. Del Rio throws Cena into the ring steps and then tosses him into the wall of the Cell.

Del Rio and Punk go at it in the ring now. Punk with a pair of clotheslines and a scoop slam. Punk climbs up top and hits the big elbow drop on Del Rio but he kicks out at 2. Cena runs in and hits shoulder blocks and a back drop on Punk. Cena goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Punk kicks him in the head. Punk scoop slams Cena and goes back to the top. Del Rio runs up and knocks Punk off, sending him crashing through the table on the floor. Cena trips Del Rio and applies the STF. Ricardo Rodriguez comes down with a key and unlocks the Cell. He brings a steel pipe in but Cena knocks him off the apron. Cena drops Ricardo on the floor with an AA. Cena turns around to a pipe shot from Del Rio. Del Rio knocks Cena out of the Cell and locks himself in with just Punk.

Del Rio goes over to Punk, who is still laying on top of the broken table. Del Rio brings Punk in the ring and stalks him. Del Rio with a German suplex for a 2 count. Cena is still on the floor outside of the locked Cell. Punk counters a move and rolls Del Rio up for a close 2 count. Del Rio runs into a boot in the corner but runs right back and kicks Punk in the head, knocking him off the top. 2 count for Del Rio. Cena starts to get to his feet but is locked out of the Cell. Punk blocks the cross armbreaker and fires away on Del Rio with kicks. Punk with a leg lariat. Cena tries to get in the Cell but realizes he can’t. Punk with the high knee in the corner and a bulldog on Del Rio.

Punk springboards in and takes Del Rio down with a forearm but he kicks out at 2 again. Cena tries forcing himself through the Cell door but can’t get in. Del Rio grabs the steel pipe from the floor in front of Cena. Del Rio smacks Punk in the head with the pipe and then taunts Cena with the pipe from inside the Cell. Del Rio enters the ring but Punk goes for GTS. Del Rio hits him with the pipe two more times and covers him for the win and the WWE Title.

– As soon as the Cell rises up, Cena rushes under it and attacks Del Rio from behind. The Miz and R-Truth sneak in, wearing jeans and hoodies. They beat everyone down and kick the referees down. Triple H and John Laurinaitis run down but the Cell is lowered, keeping Triple H out. Triple H orders Laurinaitis to the back to open the Cell. Miz and Truth continue their beatdown in the ring as several WWE Superstars run down and try to shake the Cell down. Truth takes out a camera man as Miz beats u a referee. The whole locker room is trying to get in the Cell now as Truth and Miz continue beating down everyone in the ring. Another camera man in the Cell gets taken out. Security, Superstars and officials are now surrounding the ring, with police. Someone comes down and cuts the lock off the Cell with bolt cutters. Police enter the ring first as Triple H is held back. Truth and Miz surrender to the police and drop to their knees, putting their hands behind their back. Truth and Miz are put in handcuffs, then taken out of the Cell by police. Triple H runs up and takes them both down. Triple H wails away with right hands on both men as they’re in handcuffs. Triple H pushes down Laurinaitis and it’s chaos at ringside. Triple H is going crazy as two men hold him back and try to pull him to the backstage area. Hell in a Cell goes off the air with Triple H behind held back while Miz and Truth are taken away in handcuffs, the whole locker room and officials looking on.

RAW RESULT 8/22


Tonight's WWE RAW kicks off with Justin Roberts introducing Ricardo Rodriguez in the ring from the Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Ricardo introduces WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio, who comes in driving a Lamborghini. The WWE Champion makes his way to the ring.

We see a clip on the big screen of Del Rio injuring Rey Mysterio last week. Del Rio takes the mic and begins to introduce himself but John Cena's music interrupts and out comes Cena to a pop from the crowd. Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are on commentary tonight as Cena runs down to the ring.

Cena takes the mic and gets a mixed reaction from the Canadian fans. Cena and Del Rio come face to face in the ring. Cena says everyone already knows who Del Rio is. Cena says he's here to re-introduce himself to Del Rio. Cena puts out his hand but Del Rio won't shake it. Cena introduces himself and the crowd boo's. Cena says he's the one who's going to take the WWE Title off Del Rio's waist. And he's going to hurt Del Rio, he says. Cena goes on at Del Rio and says there's only one man in WWE who can go toe-to-toe with him. Cena says Del Rio isn't CM Punk, which means he's going to whip his ass when he faces him. Cult of Personality hits and out comes CM Punk to a big pop.

The crowd chants for Punk as he takes the mic. Punk says he's feeling a little de-ja-vu and feels like this is a re-run because Cena wants another title shot. Punk says he beat Cena twice in high pressure situations. Punk talks about how Del Rio cashed in on him and says if anyone is getting a title shot, it's going to be him. Del Rio chimes in and Punk tells him to never interrupt while he's speaking again. Punk says he has a problem with Del Rio, Triple H and Kevin Nash trying to screw him. Punk points out that he and Cena both have had problems with Triple H. Punk brings up the text message that Nash got and says someone wants Del Rio to be champion real bad. Del Rio says it's destiny. Punk says destiny is him cashing in his rematch for a WWE Title shot. Cena says they mean him cashing in his title shot, tonight. Punk says he's putting is name out there officially for a title shot. So does Cena. Del Rio says he is officially ignoring both of then. He defended his title last week so now it's time for him to celebrate, he says. But it won't happen here in front of these Canadians, he says. Del Rio tells Punk to stop crying. Triple H's music hits and out comes the COO.

Triple H tells Del Rio to take the smug look off his face because he's not here to protect him. Triple H says Del Rio has a match up next. He tells Cena and Punk that you can't just cash in a rematch clause when you want to. He says that's his job because he's the COO. He calls the shots. Triple H says it doesn't matter what they think because he runs the show. Triple H says Del Rio will defend the WWE Title at Night of Champions against the man who wins tonight's main event - CM Punk vs. John Cena. Punk, Del Rio and Cena all stare each other down as we go to commercial.

Alberto Del Rio vs. John Morrison 

Back from commercial and WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio waits as John Morrison comes out for a non-title match. The bell rings and Del Rio taunts Morrison from the corner. They go to lock up and Del Rio stalls some more. Morrison decks him with a right hand and beats him down. Morrison continues the attack with kicks and a 2 count. Del Rio starts a comeback but Morrison tackles him for another 2 count. Del Rio comes back with kicks and takes control.

Del Rio continues the assault on Morrison and begins working on the arm. Morrison fights back but Del Rio stops him. Morrison finally gets a dropkick in for a 2 count. Morrison takes Del Rio to the mat now. Del Rio fights out of a headlock and kicks Morrison. Del Rio goes behind Morrison for a takedown but it's blocked. Morrison sends Del Rio out to the floor and moonsaults from the apron. Del Rio ducks and Morrison lands on his feet. Del Rio sends Morrison into the fan barrier as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Del Rio has Morrison down on the mat. 2 count for Del Rio and he goes back to a chinlock. Morrison fights out but Del Rio hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for another 2 count. Del Rio runs his mouth now as Ricardo cheers him on from ringside. Del Rio slams Morrison to the mat for another 2 count. Del Rio puts a knee in Morrison's back and goes back to working on the neck. Morrison fights out again but Del Rio rams him back into the corner. Del Rio charges but Morrison dumps him out to the floor. Del Rio comes back in the ring and Morrison unloads with offense for a 2 count. Del Rio ends up hitting a nice back suplex with a bridge for a 2 count.

Morrison counters the armbreaker from Del Rio and rolls him up for a close 2 count. Another counter by Morrison and a nice DDT for a 2 count. Morrison goes for a kick to the head but Del Rio blocks it. Morrison blocks that with a hurricanrana for another close 2 count. More back and forth action. Morrison connects with the flash kick. Del Rio moves and Morrison lands on his feet from Starship Pain. Del Rio throws Morrison into the ring post and then applies the cross armbreaker as Morrison taps out for the win.


Winner: Alberto Del Rio 

- After the match, Del Rio goes out to the floor where Morrison is and applies the armbreaker again. Ricardo Rodriguez waves the wWE Title over Morrison and taunts him as Del Rio tightens the hold before breaking it.

- The announcers hype tonight's Punk vs. Cena main event as we go back to commercial. We see Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres backstage as we go to commercial.

Nikki Bella vs. Eve Torres 

Back from the break and The Bella Twins are in the ring. Out next comes WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly with Eve Torres at her side. We see a video from earlier today where Beth Phoenix and Natalya where they say they don't want to be like Kelly and the other Divas but they want something and won't tell us what it is. Nikki and Eve lock up to start the match and Nikki beats Eve down. Eve takes her to the corner but gets dumped to the apron. Eve gets knocked to the floor after some distraction and Brie stomps on her. Nikki brings Eve back in the ring and stomps on her.

Nikki applies a headlock but Eve fights out and sideslams her. Eve fights back with kicks and a clothesline. Eve does the booty pop over Nikki and hits a moonsault for 2. More back and forth action, another 2 count for Nikki in the corner after she knocks Eve off the top. Eve with a nice neckbreaker out of nowhere for the win.

Winner: Eve Torres 

- After the match, Brie Bella and Kelly Kelly come in the ring. Kelly lays out Brie with her leg drop. Kelly celebrates with Eve as Natalya and Beth Phoenix appear on the stage. Beth claps as Natalya stares at the ring.

- We see Kevin Nash walking around backstage as we go to commercial.

Jack Swagger vs. Alex Riley 

Back from the break and Vickie Guerrero makes her way out to the stage to introduce her potential new client, Jack Swagger. Swagger comes out and walks to the ring with Vickie on his arm. The announcers note that Alex Riley, who is waiting in the ring, has requested this rematch.

They lock up and go to the mat. Swagger brings Riley back up and slams him down. Swagger controls until Riley hits a big spinebuster. The WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler walks out and argues with Vickie, saying she doesn't need any other clients. Swagger goes for the gutwrench but Riley counters it. Vickie ends up getting pushed down on the floor. Swagger sees this and thinks Ziggler did it. Swaggee goes to the floor and has words with Ziggler. Swagger comes back in and gets pinned by Riley for the win.

Winner: Alex Riley 

- After the match, Ziggler and Vickie argue the whole way up the ramp as Swagger yells from the ring.

- We see Triple H backstage talking on the phone before walking off to the ring. Nash and Triple H will meet in the ring up next.

- Back from the break and out comes Triple H to the ring. Triple H says there is a lot of controversy over how Kevin Nash returned at SummerSlam. He says he spoke with Nash this week and thinks they have it behind them but in order to be transparent to the fans, he wants to do it out here now. Triple H calls out Nash and here he comes, again with no music.

Nash enters the ring and embraces Triple H. Triple H recalls how Nash got a text to his phone, that didn't come from him. Triple H says what happened wasn't supposed to happen and he wants everyone to see they are on the same page. Nash says he believes Triple H when he says he didn't lie. Nash thought the text came from Triple H and he was doing him a favor. Nash says he was going to apologize to CM Punk but after all the crap he talked last week, not so much. Triple H has a few words with him. Nash asks Triple H to please don't ask him not to be a man. Triple H understands Punk crossed the line with him last week but he doesn't work here. Nash says that's right, he doesn't work here so he doesn't have to get Punk over or take his crap.

Triple H says Nash doesn't work for WWE so he can't be calling guys out here. Triple H tells Nash to call Punk out across the street at Tim Horton's or something. Triple H doesn't want to do this but he asks Nash to please leave. Cult of Personality hits and out comes CM Punk to the stage. Punk asks Nash to please not leave. Punk wants to know who sent the text message and wants to play a game of Clue. Was it Big Lazy with a giant tube of Just For Men? Or was it Triple H with his trusty sledgehammer? Maybe it was Stephanie McMahon with a candlestick in the library, or something, he says. Punk doesn't believe a word either man is saying. Punk says so he stepped over a few lines, Nash should know about that because he's a line stepper too. The crowd chants for Punk.

Punk says he's done talking and enters the ring. He says he's kicking Nash's ass this week. Triple H gets in between and backs Punk up. Punk tells Triple H to get his hands off. Punk accuses Triple H of being out to get him from the beginning. Punk calls Stephanie bean-headed. Triple H says he knows Punk is a line crosser and he's promised the world, including the Board, he won't get involved physically but Punk doesn't need to make the mistake that Triple H isn't the same damn guy he's always been. Triple H says if Punk crosses that line with him, he will leave him lay. Punk jokes that Triple H keeps his cell phone and his balls in Stephanie's purse. Out of nowhere Nash decks Punk with a right hand. This pisses Triple H off and he takes Nash out of the ring, up the ramp and to the back. Punk sits up in the ring and smiles as the crowd chants his name.

- We get more hype for Punk vs. Cena tonight as we go to commercial. Up next is Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne vs. David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

- Back from the break and we see Kevin Nash and Triple H. Triple H asks him to just go. Nash says he never thought he'd say this but Triple H has changed and walks off.

WWE Tag Team Title Match: Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne vs. David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty 

We go to the ring and out first comes Kofi Kingston followed by his partner Evan Bourne. The WWE Tag Team Champions are out next.

Bourne and McGillicutty start things off and go at it. Bourne comes back with stiff kicks and tags in Kofi for some double teaming. 2 count by Kofi. McGillicutty turns it around and beats Kofi down in the corner. Kofi hits a big crossbody from the top for a 2 count. Kofi calls for the Boom Drop but Otunga pulls McGillicutty out. Kofi goes to the floor but gets clotheslined. McGillicutty works Kofi over on the floor now before getting another 2 count. Otunga is tagged in for more double teaming and another 2 count. Otunga with another pin attempt and a chinlock on Kofi.

McGillicutty comes back in with a double team dropkick and another 2 count. Kofi fights out of a headlock but McGillicutty slams him. Kofi with a scissors takedown and tag to Bourne. Otunga comes in also but Bourne unloads on him and gets a 2 count. Kofi dumps MCGillicutty to the floor and kicks Otunga down. Bourne hits Air Bourne and covers Otunga for the win and the titles.

Winners and New WWE Tag Team Champions: Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston 

- Back from the break and Josh Matthews is backstage with Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne. Kofi speaks but soon gets splashed with ice by the RAW locker room and the celebration begins.

- Triple H is backstage when John Laurinaitis runs up. He says the Canadian authorities have just told him Kevin Nash was in a car wreck and hands him the hospital information on a piece of paper. Triple H runs off as Laurinaitis watches and we go back to commercial.

- Back from commercial and Santino Marella makes his way out. He's attacked from behind on the ramp by The Miz and R-Truth. They take him to the ring and continue the assault. Miz lays out Santino with a Skull Crushing Finale and asks for a mic. Truth says that's going to happen to Little Jimmy everytime. He's been saying there's a conspiracy in the WWE all along. Truth goes back and forth with the crowd as they "what?" him. Truth says Triple H, Nash, Punk, Cena and everyone else is all in on the conspiracy. Truth says now that Triple H is in charge, it's on longer about the truth. He tells Miz it's no longer about him either.

Miz says Truth is right, there is a conspiracy. Miz gets into it with the crowd also. He talks about main eventing WrestleMania. Miz says now that Triple H is in charge, he has to pick a fight with Jared from Subway just to do something. A "you suck" chant breaks out. Truth insults the crowd for being Canadian. Lots of heat here from the crowd. Miz says he's sick of seeing people like Santino Marella get a match on RAW. Miz says he and Truth are sick of it all. They're going to start taking opportunities. Truth says any and all opportunities that come their way, they're taking them. Truth says they're going to push back at any conspiracies that try to push them around and sooner later, everyone's going to get got. And that's the truth, the whole truth. Miz says that's awesome and Truth's new remix hits as they insult the crowd some more to the beat. Instead of "what's up?" they rap "you suck" to the fans.

- We see CM Punk and John Cena headed to the ring as we go back to commercial.

#1 Contender's Match: CM Punk vs. John Cena 

Back from the break and we see WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio sitting at ringside as is John Laurinaitis. We go to the ring and out first comes CM Punk. Out next comes John Cena. The winner of this one will face Del Rio at Night of Champions for the WWE Title.

Lots of playing to the crowd to start. The crowd throws Cena's t-shirt back to him. The bell rings and here we go. They finally lock up and Punk takes Cena to the mat first. They trade holds going back and forth on the mat before going back to their feet. They lock up again and Punk goes back to a headlock. Punk drops Cena with a shoulder. Cena leap frogs and takes Punk down with two shoulders and then the big back drop. Cena calls for Five Knuckle Shuffle but Punk rolls him up for a 2 count. Punk with a clothesline and a dropkick. Punk with a high knee in the corner and the bulldog. Punk stops on the apron and stares Del Rio down. Punk goes to the top but Cena knocks him off and down to the floor in front of Del Rio as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Punk back drops his way out of a headlock. Punk goes for the GTS but Cena blocks it and goes for the Attitude Adjustment. Punk counters that and comes back with a kick. Punk ends up on Cena's shoulders again but the AA is blocked. Punk with a clothesline from the top rope for a 2 count. Punk hits Cena with knees now and goes for the GTS. Cena blocks it and goes for the STF. Punk fights him off. Cena ducks a roundhouse kick and applies a crossface submission. Punk makes his way to the ropes and breaks the hold.

Cena charges but runs into the ringpost. Punk nails the GTS but Cena kicks out at 2. Punk goes to the top rope and goes for the big elbow drop but Cena moves out of the way. Cena goes to the top now for the big leg drop and nails it for a 2 count. Cena goes for the AA again but Punk fights out. Punk unloads on Cena with elbows to the head. Punk with a big kick for another close 2 count. Cena goes for the AA again and nails it this time but Punk kicks out before 2.

Cena rams Punk back into the corner and takes him up to the top. Punk knocks Cena back to the mat with headbutts. Punk with a crossbody off the top but Cena rolls through and stands up with Punk in his arms. Punk slides out and rolls Cena up for a 2 count. Punk connects with a big kick to the head and Cena goes down. Punk calls for GTS as Del Rio looks on from ringside. Punk goes for the GTS when Kevin Nash appears on the stage. Nash tells Punk this isn't over yet and Punk puts Cena down. Nash walks to the ring as Punk waits for him. Punk turns around to an AA from Cena for the win and the match at Night of Champions.

Winner and New #1 Contender: John Cena 

- As soon as the match is over, Del Rio rushes the ring and attacks Cena. The WWE Champion beats Cena down and hits a big kick to the head in the corner. Del Rio mounts Cena with right hands when John Laurinaitis comes in the ring and pulls him off. Laurinaitis and a referee back Del Rio up in the corner. Del Rio rushes out and attacks Cena again. They push him back into the corner again as Cena lays on the mat. Del Rio attacks Cena again, hits him with the WWE Title and stomps away. Del Rio takes Cena to the floor and throws him into the fan barrier. Laurinaitis and the referee once again push Del Rio back as RAW goes off the air.
