By the looks of WWE’s new Survivor Series pay-per-view poster and synopsis, it sounds like Nexus is staying around after this weekend’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. On the other hand, the poster is dated as it still has Darren Young and Skip Sheffield, who is injured. Sheffield isn’t expected back in action until early 2011. Here’s the poster and synopsis for the event:
“History collides with controversy as The Nexus takes on all comers at WWE Survivor Series. Don’t miss John Cena, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and all your favorite WWE Superstars live on pay-per-view!”

BOB ORTON JR. TALKS ABOUT RANDY'S SUCCESS AND RECENT CHANGES
Randy Orton’s father and Hall of Famer, Bob Orton, Jr.was recently interview by Arda Ocal and Jimmy Korderas of Right After Wrestling and spoke on his son’s success in World Wrestling Entertainment.
“I’m very proud of Randy,” Orton said. “He doesn’t waste any movement and he’s just pretty darn good. He pulls his weight. He’s just a natural, they come along every once in awhile. He took to everything very quick. He learns and he listens. He’s a good kid all around and he always has been and we’ve always been proud of him.”
Orton, Jr. was also asked about changes in the locker room since he was last a wrestler…
“What’s changes in the locker room?” he asked. “Pizza. What we used to get backstage was pizza if we were lucky. Now they’ve got catered meals and we didn’t have a masseuse in the locker room or a hair dresser. We didn’t have any of that stuff. A chiropractor was there. It’s first class all the way.”

KANE COMPLETED THIRTEEN YEARS WITH WWE
The thirteen year anniversary of the Kane character, who made his WWE debut at Bad Blood: In Your House. Paul Bearer introduced the character, who proceeded to cost The Undertaker a victory against Shawn Michaels in the first ever Hell in a Cell match.
STONE COLD IN EXPANDABLES 2
During a press event for the new film “Red”, actor Bruce Willis was asked about the rumored sequel to the summer blockbuster film “The Expendables.”
Willis told ComingSoon.net that the sequel is happening and said everybody’s favorite beer-drinking rattlesnake will be involved:
“I talked to Sly and he’s going for all the marbles this time, and he’s going to get everybody in this time. Even Stone Cold Steve Austin who took two bullets in the last film, he’s coming back, too. Hopefully, they’ll start shooting it while we’re young enough to survive.”

WHY ALBERTO GOT A HUGE PUSH
Alberto Del Rio was actually very close to quitting not long ago. He was saying he wasn’t making much money and wanted to return to Mexico. This is around the time they started bringing him on the road and planning the promos that aired on SmackDown.
HART DYNASTY BREAKING UP
The plan is for David Hart Smith to turn heel on Tyson Kidd and Natalya, breaking up The Hart Dynasty.
MICHAEL COLE TURNING HEEL
Michael Cole apparently has joined the SmackDown announcing team after joining Todd Grisham and Matt Striker at last night’s tapings. Fans in attendance report that Cole was playing the heel role more than usual and talking about how he is the voice of WWE.
DUDEBUSTERS MOVED TO RAW
It appears The Dudebusters – Trent Baretta & Caylen Croft – will be headed to WWE RAW after this Friday’s episode of SmackDown. WWE did an angle where the team asked Big Show to be a part of Team SmackDown and when he refused them, they revealed they were wearing RAW t-shirts.
BURRIED ALIVE MATCH AT BRAGGING RIGHTS?
The promotional commercial for WWE’s Bragging Rights pay-per-view event is advertising a Buried Alive Match between Kane and The Undertaker. The event will take place on Oct. 24 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
ALBERTO WILL BE INDUCTING HIS UNCLE?
At one point, WWE was planning on inducting Mil Mascaras into the Hall of Fame this year and have his nephew, Alberto Del Rio, give the induction speech. No word yet if this is still the plan.
POSSIBLE HUGE CHANGE IN WWE
The feeling within WWE creative is that things need to change and be shaken up. It’s expected that something big will be happening soon and it may have been decided on already, but is being kept a secret and most of the creative team doesn’t even know what it will be. It’s being said that things will be different in January of next year. Since nobody knows what that means, nobody can tell if it’s going to be a good or bad thing.
WWE SEARCHING FOR MEXICAN WRESTLERS
WWE has sent word to people in Mexico that they are looking to bring in more stars from that country. WWE wants the talents to have a good size and be able to speak English.
WHY GOLDUST VS TED DIBIASE JR.?
Goldust was given the feud with Ted DiBiase because they wanted him to have a program since his autobiography is coming out in December. The idea for the feud came up when someone in creative realized their fathers did a program with each other in WWF about 20 years ago.
FUTURE OF PAUL BEARER IN WWE
While Paul Bearer turning on Undertaker at Hell in a Cell seemed like something of a no-brainer, F4WOnline.com’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter said that it was not part of the original plan.
Although Bearer’s turn was always a possibility, the original conception of the angle did not have the swerve taking place so rapidly, if at all. Nonetheless, when the idea was suggested in creative, WWE decided it would make for a fitting conclusion to the HIAC main-event.
Despite Bearer’s turn, there is still long-term interest in having Paul Bearer manage Undertaker for a final run. Of course, as speculation about Undertaker retiring has proven incorrectly for over ten years, it is far from clear when that final run will be.

VINCE MCMAHON HIGH ON MICHAEL COLE
Michael Cole will soon be the voice of SmackDown following his move across from RAW. Vince McMahon is pretty high on the outspoken commentator at the moment and feels that he would help establish the show on SyFy, which is very important to the company right now with its move to a new network. The way Cole effectively delivers messages from creative and the way he plays his on-air character are things that have pleased McMahon recently.
Another play-by-play commentator, Todd Grisham, is not so over with McMahon right now and some feel that’s another reason for Cole’s move.
