NEWS ON WWE NETWORK AND UFC
WWE reportedly announced the new WWE Network early in-part because they were concerned that UFC would announce plans to start their own network first. Ever since UFC signed with FOX, they’ve lost all interest in doing their own channel. While WWE usually acts like UFC isn’t competition publicly, word is that Vince McMahon isn’t happy with several recent UFC moves including their plan to run a 100,000 seat stadium in Brazil next year.

WHY KEVIN NASH WAS FIRED AND RELEASED
As noted before, Kevin Nash’s “release” that was announced earlier today is all part of what’s happening on TV. The release was announced to play off the major deal that John Laurinaitis signed Nash to on RAW.
The reason for Nash’s exit from the WWE storylines is because Nash has booked a movie role, likely the same one that he is dieting for. Word is that the people behind the movie didn’t want to insure Nash for filming while he was working as a pro wrestler. Nash will likely stay gone until he is done filming the movie. No word yet if this will affect any of his independent dates.
MOST INFAMOUS WWE FIRINGS OF ALL TIME
WWE has a new storyline up article today on their most infamous firings, mentioning Triple H firing Kevin Nash this week. The most infamous releases they mention are:
* Vince McMahon fires Jeff Jarrett
* Vince McMahon fires Eric Bischoff
* Randy Orton stops Vince McMahon from firing him with a punt kick
* The many firings of Jim Ross
