Awesome Kong confirmed today on Twitter that she has signed with World Wrestling Entertainment. She re-tweeted her friend’s remarks congratulating her.

“We did it Baby! Congrats to you on signing with the WWE!!” The Legal Diva wrote. “I am so proud of you as your attorney and friend! You will KILL IT at WWE!! YOU GO GIRL!!”

SHAWN MICHAELS WILL BE IN DETROIT

Carl Dantes sent in the following news item about Shawn Michaels appearing at the Championship Auto Show in Detroit next month:

Shawn Michaels will be making an appearance & signing autographs at the Championship Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan on February 27th from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. As far as I can tell, autographs are free with admission to the show, which costs $15 for adults & $5 for children. The show takes place at Cobo Center, One Washington Blvd., Detroit, MI 48226.

MELINA AND MORRISON TOGETHER

Melina noted on Twitter today that she is still with John Morrison and they have not broken up. She wrote: “Peeps, I’m still in Vegas. Jomo & I R 2together, doing great! Hackers suck BizzALLS!”

NEW ROLE FOR VINCE MCMAHON

A new “employment agreement” Vince McMahon and World Wrestling Entertainment went into effect on January 1st and will run for three years until December 31, 2013. According to the official SEC Filing posted at WWE.com, McMahon’s new role in the company is as follows:


“In addition to his duties and responsibilities as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, the Executive shall serve as the Company’s creative director, and as a writer, and performer at various times for and in the Company’s events and productions.”


The three-year deal gives McMahon generous compensation if he is terminated “other than for cause” or leaves on his own accord with “good reason.” It also includes a 1-year no compete clause in the event that his agreement is terminated.
