SHEAMUS TALKS ON BEING CHAMPION, RANDY ORTON AND MIZ, HIS FUTURE

WWE Champion Sheamus did an interview with Go386 hyping the WWE’s event in Daytona Beach this weekend. Here are some excerpts from the interview…

On Going to the Beach: We stay as far away from each other as possible. I like Daytona for the bikes, the Harleys.

On Being the First Irish-born WWE Champion: It means everything to me. I gave up a lot and sacrificed a lot to come to the U.S. to follow my dream. I was pretty serious as to what I wanted to do. You have to make your own opportunities. I was a little bit surprised at my quick success, but I knew if I got the opportunity I would take it. It’s a great honor. It’s opened up a lot of peoples’ eyes to the product and it has created a big following back home. It’s a dream come true.

Who’s the bigger threat, Randy Orton or The Miz? Once you become WWE champion, there’s a target on your back. Everyone wants the title. Orton is an extreme threat to me. He’s been champion multiple times. I’m better than anyone. I’m the best in the world. There’s a payback for The Miz coming. Maybe I’ll teach him a lesson in Daytona and put his (guaranteed title shot) suitcase away for good.

On His Future: The future is bright. It’s laced with gold. I want to make sure I’m the longest reigning WWE champion. With the truce with Nexus and Cena occupied, there’s no one to take me out. I’m here for the long term.

SNYPOSIS AND COVER FOR JERICHO'S DVD

The first official DVD cover and synopsis for WWE’s new three-disc DVD set on Chris Jericho, which comes out on September 28th. The DVD is titled “Breaking The Code: Behind The Walls Of Chris Jericho.”

The WWE fans love to hate Chris Jericho. Throughout his remarkable career he has provided sports entertainment fans with amazing matches and astounding moments whether he was in Smokey Mountain Wrestling, ECW, WCW, and WWE. He’s also left his mark on the entertainment industry outside the ring, from his band Fozzy, writing a NY Times bestselling autobiography, through his appearances on VH-1′s “I Love…” shows and his role in the hit film “Magruber”. But his most famous moments are in sports entertainment, where Jericho has won multiple championships, including the WWE, World Heavyweight, a record number of Intercontinental titles, and the night when he defeated both the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin to become the first ever WWE Unified Champion. But Chris Jericho has never had his remarkable career highlighted in a DVD set until now. This 3-disc release will include a never-before-seen documentary on the life and times of Jericho featuring new candid interviews with Jericho and his rivals, as well as more than a dozen of his greatest matches.
