*SPOILER* TRIPLE H TO LOSE AT WRESTLEMANIA?

In WWE’s new DX DVD that comes out a few days after WrestleMania, there is a segment where Triple H and Shawn Michaels make fun of each other for losing to The Undertaker. Triple H noted that Taker always beat Shawn and when Shawn responded that Taker beat Triple H too, Triple H acted as if it’s something he’s tried to forget. While they don’t mention WrestleMania in the conversation, the impression given is that they were talking about the match at WrestleMania 27, not their previous match.

NEW FEATURES REVEALED FOR WWE ALL-STAR GAME

Richard George of IGN.com recently reviewed WWE’s new All Stars video game and revealed some new details. Here are some highlights:

* Regarding game play, George wrote: “The wrestlers themselves look more like action figures you can buy in stores versus more realistic portrayals. John Cena’s relatively simple “Five Knuckle Shuffle” – which is simply a drop to the mat with a fist punch – has become an elaborate, acrobatic feat. A stronger, heavier wrestler can kick a smaller, lighter opponent across the ring – or toss him completely outside of it. Some combatants can jump clear across the ring to attack their opponents. The emphasis isn’t on reality but on fast, fun and flashy entertainment. Despite the fact that most might liken the game a bit to No Mercy, in truth it might even be more similar to that game’s lesser-known predecessor, WCW/NWO Revenge. It has a more manic, frantic tone, similar to that of a Capcom fighting game. The game is willing to discard a great deal to make sure it never gets lost in details that will slow down the pacing of a match.”

* Game modes include the standard versus modes, other offline and online play, Path of Champions and Fantasy Warfare.

* Path of Champions is similar to the Road to WrestleMania in other games where you can challenge an old school Undertaker with Paul Bearer, Randy Orton or DX for titles. Players go through 10 rounds to get a shot at WrestleMania.

* Fantasy Warfare features 15 dream matches created by THQ that have or may not have happened in WWE’s past such as CM Punk vs. Steve Austin and Big Show vs. Andre the Giant. The matches in Fantasy Warfare feature “video packages” of WWE footage used to “promote” the matches. For example, there is a video package hyping a Punk vs. Austin feud.

WWE RAW AS ON MAR 29

Tonight’s WWE RAW kicks off with Michael Cole welcoming us to the US Airways Center from Phoenix, Arizona. Lawler and Cole talks about WrestleMania. Tonight, Shawn Michaels will say goodbye to the WWE Universe.
- We go to the ring where the former WWE Champion Batista makes his way out.
- We go to the ring where the former WWE Champion Batista makes his way out. Batista comes out in street clothes and looks pissed as he walks to the ring. The crowd boo’s Batista as his music stops. Batista tries to talk but the heat from the crowd is deafening. Batista says everyone expects him to come out and throw a fit about losing the WWE Title but he’s not going to give the satisfaction. He says last night was a blip on the radar, a fluke. A “you tapped out” chant starts from the crowd.
Batista says he’s owed a rematch and no matter what happens, John Cena cannot beat him. John Cena’s music hits and out comes the WWE Champion to a monster pop from the fans.
There’s a bit of a mixed reaction when Cena gets in the ring. He says there’s some WrestleMania energy left in the air tonight. Cena jokes about beating Batista last night. A “Cena sucks” chant breaks out now. Cena mocks Batista for tapping out last night. Batista is getting pissed. Cena talks about the rematch and proposes that it happen tonight on RAW. The crowd loves this. Cena challenges Batista for tonight. Batista asks the fans if they would like to see that. Not tonight, he says. The crowd doesn’t like this. Batista punches Cena and they go at it. Batista rolls out of the ring and they stare each other down. From out of nowhere, Jack Swagger attacks John Cena from behind with the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Swagger takes a mic and declares that he’s cashing in right now. Swagger goes back in the ring but Cena almost gets him locked in the STF. Swagger rolls out of the ring and gets away from Cena’s STF as a referee is running in. Swagger starts saying no way, the match never started. And it didn’t. The bell never rang so it appears Swagger did not use his shot yet. Swagger heads to the back, talking trash to Cena.

Roddy Piper’s music hits next and out he comes. He brings Sgt. Slaughter, Tony Garea and Ricky Steamboat with him. Jerry Lawler puts down his headset and heads around the ring as well. Justin Roberts brings out tonight’s RAW hosts – the two guys from Hot Tub Time Machine. They announce tonight’s main event as Jack Swagger and Batista vs. John Cena and a partner of his choosing. They also announce a Hot Tub match between them two and the WWE Divas. The reason for the Legends being around the ring is for this Legends Lumberjack match.

- After the match, Christian heads up the ramp celebrating with Garea, Piper, Steamboat and Slaughter. Ted Sr. gets in the ring to help Ted Jr. up. Ted bucks back and it kind of shocks his father. The winner of this gets a future Divas Title match. The hosts get in and start the “match”, sitting beside the Divas. They pull out champagne and say there aren’t any “losers” in this match. The Divas say there has to be a loser and they start sipping champagne. We go to the ring.
- Triple H’s music starts playing and he appears on the stage looking a bit sad. Triple H stays on the stage and gets ready to talk as the crowd settles down. He says this is kind of a surreal night and the end of an era. He says he never thought it would end this way for Shawn. Triple H talks about meeting Shawn years ago and says they took on the world. He goes on and has something to say in front of the whole world… out of nowhere comes Sheamus. He hits Triple H in the back with what looks like a pipe. Triple H is laid out on the ramp. Update on JR's Blog

The following are highlights from Jim Ross’s latest blog:
– Speaking of Cena, his interaction with Mr. McMahon on Raw was spot on and some of the best verbal interaction that I’ve heard in a good while. The dialog between Cena and the Chairman of WWE was organic, emotional, and really has me anxious to see Raw next week when Bret “Hitman” Hart returns to confront McMahon. Fine TV in my humble opinion.
– The serious nature of winning the Royal Rumble match and what it means individually to every competitor was underscored with Monday Night’s DX in ring promo. This was another verbal exchange that captured my interest. DX in a serious tone really captivated my attention.
– I had a great conversation Sunday with JBL who, as my Grandpa used to say is as busy as a fruit merchant, and doing great while living in New York City. John is on Fox News every Saturday morning of which I enjoy plus he is still developing his distribution business for ‘Layfield Energy Plus’.

HBK talks on his DVD , Retirement and Probable Disbandation of DX

It would appear that the latest D-Generation X run is coming to an end as Shawn Michaels said during an interview with the KISS-FM radio station out of San Antonio this past week that DX will "probably disband" following the Royal Rumble so they can focus on their respective matches at WrestleMania.

When asked if he had any plans on retiring, Michaels said: "Well, that's always the million dollar question. I'd like to go on record as saying I have been trying to retire for the last three years... [WWE] makes it very difficult, you know, Vince McMahon is nuts. I try to walk away then WrestleMania comes up, they put me in a match, I do well, and [Vince] doesn't make it very easy."

Also it would appear that he had zero input in selecting matches for WWE's upcoming DVD release on him, Shawn Michaels: My Journey. He responded with the following: "They found my 25 greatest matches?"

It had been rumored that Michaels would handpick his favorite twenty-five matches of his career for the DVD release

Tonight’s WWE RAW kicks off with a video package of Martin Luther King Jr. “Long live the dream” it says. We go to the opening RAW video. We go to the Thompson-Boling Arena where the pyro is going off. Michael Cole welcomes us to Knoxville, Tennessee. We’ve got Legacy vs. Kofi Kingston & John Cena tonight.
We go to the arena where Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring.
Vince says life is about decisions. Sometimes you make good ones and sometimes they’re bad. Vince says in business, all decisions are tough ones. He rips on the city of Knoxville. He says he made a decision a few weeks ago to let Bret Hart return to WWE and made a decision to kick Bret as hard as he could in the gut, leaving him lay in the ring. And last week, he made the decision that Bret Hart would never appear anywhere in WWE. Vince says he did this so fans could remember Bret as The Hitman, the way he was – not the way he is now. Vince calls Bret a broken down, old warhorse who needs to be put down. The crowd starts chanting for Bret. Vince says it’s his decision to put people down when they need to be put down. Vince compares this to someone chewing gum and spitting it out because it loses flavor.
Vince says if he would have let Bret stay in WWE, that would have been like letting a disease in WWE. Vince compares Bret to gangrene on your finger. Vince calls the fans hypocrites. Vince says the fans want faster, bigger, better and they want more action. Vince says he didn’t make the decision to ban Bret from WWE, the fans made it. They start telling him he sucks. The bell tolls, the lights go out and The Undertaker makes his way out.
The World Heavyweight Champion makes his grand return to RAW as the fans go wild. Vince says he wasn’t finished talking and tells Taker this his time and his show. Taker says the way he sees it, this is his time now. Taker says he came out here to address Shawn Michaels but since Vince is here, Taker needs to tell him something his own ego won’t allow him to admit. Taker says there isn’t many of “us” left but he was there, 12 years ago, in Montreal. Taker says he saw the whole thing. Taker says he saw the fear in Vince’s eyes then and he sees it now.
Taker says Vince screwed Bret and now he’s scared of the consequences. Taker calls Vince a coward. Vince says he disagrees with Taker’s point of view, but this is Taker’s time. Vince walks out of the ring. Stubbornness, anger and denial. Taker says these aren’t just the attributes of Vince – Shawn Michaels shares the same qualities. Taker says one year ago, Michaels said he would break the WrestleMania streak. Taker says HBK did prove he’s Mr. WrestleMania but the streak is still intact. Taker wants to deliver his answer for this year personally. The music hits and out comes Shawn Michaels.
Shawn enters the ring and they stare at each other. Shawn says here he is, anxiously awaiting Taker’s answer for the rematch. Taker tells Shawn he came closer than all the others on breaking the streak but still failed. Taker says a rematch this year will just result in more bitter disappointment for Shawn. Taker says he has nothing to prove. Taker says his answer to the challenge is no. The crowd boo’s at this and Shawn doesn’t like it either. Shawn says Taker has the audacity to come out here… Taker cuts him off. Taker says if Shawn is truly convinced he can beat him, they can have the match tonight on RAW. Shawn says no to this. He wants his victory over Taker to be on the grandest stage of them all. Shawn says he is going to win the Royal Rumble for a fact and when he does, he’s coming for The Undertaker at WrestleMania for the World Heavyweight Title. Taker says he will be the World Champion at WrestleMania, despite the match with Rey Mysterio. Shawn tells Taker he will see him at WrestleMania. Shawn says Taker’s streak, title and soul will be his. They come face to face in the middle of the ring. Taker’s music hits and he exits the ring as we go to commercial.

HBK asks Triple H if he needs to talk, Triple H says no and Shawn walks off. Shawn is in serious mode now. Triple H calls Heder an idiot, apparently they had a situation in the past. They tease that Heder hasn’t shown up tonight. Johnson sees someone with their back turned and they’re dressed like Napoleon Dynamite. Johnson thinks it’s Heder but it isn’t, it’s Carlito.
