LEAST CHANCES OF TEAM 3D IN WWE

Regarding a Team 3D return to WWE, it’s said that the chances of them coming back are slim because a lot of people, mainly John Laurinaitis, do not like Brother Ray. Most people like Devon but not enough to bring Bubba in and deal with what they perceive to be all of his baggage. With that said, a return isn’t totally out of the question.

WWE TO UNIFY WORLD TITLE AND WWE TITLE?

As noted before, WWE will be holding a Unification match for the Divas and Women’s Titles at Night of Champions. The talk Monday was that WWE is planning to unify all the titles in the next year and have one World Title, one Tag Team Title, one Intercontinental/US Title and one Women’s Title. The idea would be to do the WWE and World Title Unification match at WrestleMania 27.

WIN LOSS STATS OF JOHN CENA

John Cena’s six-man tag team victory at the RAW live event on August 28th was his 100th victory of the year, including all live event, TV, pay-per-view and dark matches. The Miz is second in total wins for the year with 79.

At the same time, Cena’s cage match loss at the RAW live event on August 29th to Sheamus was his first live event loss since July 3rd, 2008, where he was pinned by Triple H in Lima, Peru. Cena had a run of 787 days without a loss at a WWE live event.

CHRIS JERICHO LEAVING WWE?

As seen on RAW last night, Chris Jericho said that he was finished with WWE if he did not win the WWE Title at Night of Champions. It’s no secret that Jericho’s contract expires soon and there has been talk of him leaving. It’s not known yet what the plan for Night of Champions is but apparently Jericho had not re-signed with WWE as of a week ago. That doesn’t mean that he hasn’t re-signed already or isn’t planning on re-signing. It’s said that if he does stick around with the company, Jericho wants more time off to tour with Fozzy and spend time with family.

WHAT HAPPENED AFTER LAST NIGHTS RAW

After last night’s RAW in Boston, Sheamus defended the WWE Title against John Cena and The Undertaker in a steel cage match. Sheamus escaped through the cage door to win while Taker and Cena were going at it. After the match, Kane and Taker brawled backstage while The Nexus came down to attack Cena. MVP, Matt Hardy, Mark Henry, Evan Bourne and John Morrison came down to make the save. Everyone hit their finishers on Wade Barrett to end the show.

MIZ NOMINATED FOR BADDEST BADDIE

The Miz has been nominated for the “Baddest Baddie” award at Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards in Australia this year. Miz goes up against talent show judge Kyle Sandilands, Riley from Twilight Eclipse and Glee’s Sue Sylvester.

WWE SIGNING AAA STAR?

AAA’s Dorian Roldan said on Twitter that AAA star Alex Koslov will finish the rest of this year with the promotion and start with WWE’s FCW developmental territory in WWE. Koslov is the man who wrestled Alberto Del Rio on last Friday’s SmackDown. Apparently WWE has been interested in him for some time. Dorian noted that Koslov’s recent tryout with WWE went well.

NEWS ON TONIGHTS SMACKDOWN TAPINGS

WWE will tape this week’s SmackDown and the NXT 2 finale tonight from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. Either Kaval, Michael McGillicutty or Alex Riley will be named the season 2 winner. No matches have been announced for SmackDown but Kane vs. The Undertaker is being advertised locally.

DRAMA IN DIVAS

WWE officials were upset with some of the Divas after the recent tour in California, which resulted in the suspension of Tiffany and the release of Serena. Word is that there was “too much drama.”
