MARK HENRY ARRESTED IN FAN INCIDENT

WWE Superstar Mark Henry was arrested at a bar in Belfast, Ireland while WWE was finishing up the recent European tour.

The story goes that Henry was involved in an incident with a fan asking for autographs. James McClay, a lifelong wrestling fan, went to the live event and booked him and his fiancee in the same hotel as the RAW crew.

McClay claims that he was getting signatures from wrestlers including Henry but Henry became abusive and threw a drink at him. Henry got up ready to fight but was then calmed down by John Cena and Randy Orton. McClay claims that Chavo Guerrero then escalated the incident and egged Henry on. WWE security removed McClay from the bar.

A new article in the UK has a quote from McClay: “He (Henry) kept saying, `Where I’m from, you do something when someone throws a drink around you. . . He kept calling me a `little punk bitch.’”

McClay is planning on attending next year’s WrestleMania and getting married there.

As previously noted, Michelle McCool will defend the WWE Women’s Title against Beth Phoenix at this Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view. That match will now be an “Extreme Makeover” match, what ever that may be. They do an angle on TV this week with makeup and an ironing board, so go figure.

MICKIE JAMES COMMENTS ON HER RELEASE FROM WWE

Mickie James posted the following message on Twitter regarding her release from WWE this afternoon:

WWE NXT rookie Michael Tarver’s knockout gimmick has been dropped because the feeling was that it infringed upon Big Show’s knockout punch finisher.

The winner of Sheamus vs. Triple H at this Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view will join the chat room on WWE’s website following the match.

Despite the feud still being hot, there has been talk of ending the program between CM Punk and Rey Mysterio. If WWE decides to end it, this coming Monday’s Draft might be the place to do it with Punk going to RAW.
