Theme of Wrestlemania, WWE filming and More

The official theme song for WrestleMania is 26 “I Made It (Cash Money Heroes)” by Kevin Rudolph. Rudolph’s “Let It Rock” served as the theme song for the 2009 Royal Rumble also.

According to their corporate website, WWE is planning on releasing Legendary starring John Cena in September of 2010 and Knucklehead starring Big Show in November of this year.

WWE will begin filming a new movie called Killing Karma on April 13th in New Orleans. The movie stars a character named AJ, who gets released from prison and wants to make a new life for himself. However, AJ’s best friend accidentally shoots a man and AJ scrambles to protect his friend, his friend’s wife & daughter, all while trying to avoid a “vendetta-driven” mobster. No word yet on which WWE Superstar will star in Killing Karma.

Edge Appeared with Danielson

Edge signed autographs at last night’s WWE developmental tapings in Melbourne, Florida and later appeared in the ring to make the save for Bryan Danielson.

Danielson, now going under the name Daniel Bryan, was attacked after the main event by Curt Hawkins, Caylen Croft and Trent Beretta. Out of nowhere came Edge to the ring, taking out the three to save Danielson and FCW Heavyweight Champion Justin Angel.

Edge then shook hands with Angel and Danielson before posing for the crowd and leaving.

Miz speaks on his Banning from Locker Room

Unified Tag champion The Miz was interviewed by Kevin Eck of the Baltimore Sun this week and told a story about getting kicked out of the WWE locker room for 6 months shortly after he joined the company. Miz said:
“I got kicked out for eating a piece of chicken over a guy’s bag in the locker room, and I got kicked out for six months. I had to find a place to shower, to use the restroom, to change. I’ve had it pretty rough in the WWE just because I’m an outsider, and WWE is kind of like a close-knit family or like a fraternity. Once you’re an outsider trying to lurk in, they will haze you and haze you and try to see if you’re up for the task or if you’re just going to quit. I’m not a quitter. I’m more of a person that says bring it on.”

Future of ECW Superstars, Ratings of ECW

The feeling within WWE is that most of the ECW talents will be used mostly on the Superstars show at first when NXT premieres, before they end up on RAW or SmackDown. Plans can change but right now they will be keeping the teams of William Regal & Ezekiel Jackson, Trent Baretta & Caylon Croft and Rosa Mendez & Zack Ryder together.

This week’s episode of ECW on SyFy scored a 1.0 cable rating.
